Can't get rid of a scollbar with my edge animation on Firefox
hi, am using edge 2.01 with my mac. i am working on a site for http://www.twosons.com/gallery.html i have a piece of edge animation on the gallery page which reads DIRECTORS REEL 310.200.1400 right underneath the video buttons. on safari it works perfectly. on firefox however i have a scrollbar appearing. i've checked the animation and it is 360wide X130 height and scripted it to be responsive.
any idea on how i can lose this scrollbar on Firefox. i am already using

Reboot the device.
Shut down the device by holding the sleep/wake button and the home button at the same time.
Hold them both until you see the screen go black. In some cases, you may need to keep holding them even after the red power off slider appears. If it does, just keep holding it.
Wait until the white Apple logo appears.
When this happens, you can let go - the iPhone is rebooting.

How to get rid of scroll bars on an edge animation in a fluid grid page
I'm playing with a page that will contain an edge animation (basically just a panorama view sliding across the stage from right to left). My thought was that when the page was displayed on a tablet or phone the user would just see less and less of the animation--i.e., as if the panorama was sliding across a smaller stage. In my css I've specified overflow: hidden for the div that contains the animation, and in the animation itself I've specified overflow: hidden for the stage. This works fine in Live view, but when I preview the page in a browser (chrome, safari, IE) I get scroll bars. The animation also behaves as I want it to when I preview it in a browser by itself--i.e., not as a part of a fluid grid page. I could live with a horizontal scroll bar, and there might even be an argument in its favor, but the vertical bar is a definite problem. I've tried refining my css to overflow-y : hidden, but that doesn't have any effect either
Any help would be great.

PeterI found an work around, albeit an inelegant one, so the link I posted to Nancy's reply now works. What I found is that the edge animation produces an html document with a body style. If I plug my overflow style there, voila, alls good. Of course it will be overwritten if I regenerate the animation, but at least it's progress.

This error is not usually an error telling you that anything is broken, it's warning you that you are re-doing something you have already done. The page that you are trying to re-access, or refresh was a page that was doing something. Maybe you told the page to search for something, or you were filling out a form, or perhaps doing something like adding something to a shopping cart. Firefox warns you in case it's something you really don't want to do again; for example, accidentally buying a second toaster, or re-sending a comment form.
If you only were searching or navigating around a page, it's generally ok to press the 'Resend' button.
This safety feature is not unique to firefox, I can't offhand think of a browser that doesn't have it (though the wording may vary).
However, if you are getting it constantly, every page you visit, on every website, all the time, then it's a bug. -

When I start up my computer, I get a window that pops up that says * AppleSyncNotifier.exe - entry point not found. it also says the procedure entry point xmltextreadername could not be located in the dynamic link library libxml2 .dll. . What does this mean and how can I get rid of it?
With Windows Explorer, navigate to your C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support folder.
Copy the SQLite3.dll that you should find there, navigate to the nearby Mobile Device Support folder, and Paste it in there also.
Restart the programme all should be well
In case that your OS is (64 bit)
1. Open windows explorer, go to location C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
2. Copy file "SQLite3.dll"
3. Now paste it in the folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support
4. Restart the programme, it should not display that message, it should be clear.

Hey everyone, I have been designing in Illustrator and I went to rasterize the type so I can do some interesting things with it, and as soon as I went to reasterize it, this popped up:
Now the rasterize didn't work some reason, but I can't get rid of this. With this, there's an XYZ RGB grid in the middle of my image. I have tried clearing guides, and it still stays. So how can I get rid of this?Matthew,
For the appearance shown you can:
1) Type>Create Outlines (and Ungroup if desried);
2) Colour each letter separately;
3) Cut letters with different colours (Y & R) and colour the snipoffs differently.
In 3) you may create a (straight) path and Object>Path>Divide Objects Below.
It is possible to obtain the same appearance with Live Type, but somewhat more clumsily and sillily.
I find the yellow letters a bit weak/hard to read, so I believe I should use a different colouring. You could use a gradient (soft or with hard stops, maybe blue>yellow or blue>yellow>blue) applied to each letter (which can easily be done with Live Type, just select the Type and Effect>Path>Outline Object and keep it selected while working with the gradient), or the dots could have alternating colours so the lettershapes were clearer. -

I clicked on iMessage on my Macbook Pro today for the first time, and now NOTES keeps opening up every 5 seconds, with a new note. I cannot stop it from opening. If I close it or force close, it opens again in 5 seconds. I can't get rid of it. I have tried to clear out the iMessage settings I had put in, and I've tried to adjust the Accounts to not include notes to synch. But, Notes will not stop. It opens a new note, and even if you ignore it, it assumes preference every 5 seconds, and the Mac is impossible to use.
Do you have any Boot Camp or other secondary partitions set up on your system? If so then try running a disk verification routine (chkdsk, etc.) in Windows to repair the disk. While I've not heard of it happening recently, in the past errors in these partitions have resulted in stubborn ghost files appearing in OS X.

I was trying to bookmark a page, using the "Choose" menu in the bookmarks. I must have touched a key by accident, and a box with a blue outline & the name of one of my folders appeared in my bookmark drop-down menu. At first the box contained the folder name, then I was trying to delete the box, and erase the name, thinking it might get rid of the box, but it didn't. I can't get rid of this box! It obstructs the view of what is underneath. It stays in the same position as I scroll up & down in the drop-down menu, and it hides what is underneath. Please help me get rid of this box. Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

This is what I notice... I have made a simple file uploader, just for fun, which uploads files to my own file server, by a POST method through a multi-part/data form... obviously I use an output stream to write the file content to the server.. say: f
