Can't get second NIC to come up on reboot

On my Solaris 10 x4500 server e1000g0 is for the public network and e1000g1 is for the private network. The public e1000g0 NIC gets configured properly at boot and is usable right away, but the private NIC does not get fully configured at boot and requires an "ifconfig e1000g1 up" to become operational. An "ifconfig e1000g1" before this command shows that the IP address is correctly configured based on the /etc/hostname.e1000g1 and /etc/hosts files. What more do I need to do? Or at least, does this appear to be the correct normal procedure for setting up a new interface in Solaris 10, and therefore the problem is something non-obvious? Yes.
Beginning with Solaris 8, the network config files took some slight changes in how they were interpreted. Things like IPMP needed a bit more control over the startup.
Now, if the file contains only a single line, the traditional behavior occurs with the interface being turned "up", and netmask/broadcast set. If multiple lines are detected, each line is passed to ifconfig, but it is not implicitly set "up" as well.
Unfortunately, there's no smarts in there to determine if there's only one "populated" line. It's just counting newlines.

If by "outside" you mean "on the right or left of" a table, you must make the Table a Floating Object to do that.
If you must use Inline Tables, you can do this:
Add a Floating Text Box with the text that needs to be "outside" the table. Arrange, then Group the Text Box with the Floating Table, and then set the Group to Inline.

You will just have to carefully pull harder. Push the other side back in so it is aligned, then pull it straight out.

I can't get the dashboard to come up.

I can't get the dashboard to come up with out manually clicking on it in the dock. It was set to the middle mouse button but it changed. I went in system prefs and went to Exposé and spaces and put it as the middle mouse button but it didn't work... I still cannot open it with out clicking on the icon in the dashboard.

You may want to try repairing permissions.

This can happen when you both share the same Apple ID for iMessage. You can continue to share the same ID for purchasing from the iTunes and App stores, but you should use separate IDs for iMessage and FaceTime.
To fix this, on one of the phones, to go Settings>Messages>Send & Receive, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with a separate ID. Then do the same thing in Settings>FaceTime.

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app
    •    Tap on Wi-Fi
    •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

After a router reset, can't get second PC to access the internet

I had my wireless router (WRT54G) and printserver working fine and then a problem with my DSL had me resetting both boxes (yeah I should have know better). I've fought back and have everthing working for one PC that has an internal wireless but my other PC has a WPC54G wireless card and I can't get it to work. Both PCs are XP, SP2. The Linksys appl says that it contacted the access point but can't access the internet. It has always been flaky about this but usually gets to the internet. It does have a good IP address, the WEP key and channel are right but 'no joy'. I can ping the router and the printserver but I can't bring up the router's home page but I can print to the printserv. I did not change the modem to 'bridge' yet.

What is the IP Address you are getting on the computer...?It should be in the range of your router.IP Address should be 192.168.1.x, Subnet Mask : 255.255.255.0, Default Gateway : 192.168.1.1 (assuming your router is 192.168.1.1)...
If you get the above mentioned IP Address, Subnet and Gateway Address then you should ping the Gateway, type ping 192.168.1.1 and press Enter...If it gives you request timed out then disable any firewalls, security software on the computer...
If you get 4 replies then type ping 4.2.2.2 and press Enter, if you get request timed out, then you need to upgrade your router's firmware...If you get 4 replies then type ping yahoo.com and press Enter...If you get replies for Yahoo then you should get the Internet after adjusting the browser settings...
Adjusting Browser Settings : Open an IE, click Tools >> Internet Options, then delete all files, cookies, history, forms...Goto "Connections", make sure Never Dial a Connection is checked, click on LAN Settings and make sure all the options are unchecked...Once you are done click on O.k...Close the IE and re-open it...
If yahoo times out then provide static DNS on your WAN Connection...
Click on the Start button >>> Settings >>> Control Panel >>>Network Connections- Right click on the icon for Wireless Network Connection and go to properties- On the 'General' tab select 'Internet Protocol TCP/IP' and click on the Properties button- Select 'Use the Following DNS Settings' Preferred DNS 4.2.2.2 Alternate DNS - 4.2.2.3>>Click on Ok button to Save and Click on "Close" on main Properties window...You should be able to go online...

Can't get multiple images to come up in browser.

'alt U' ain't working as I assume it is supposed to be working...
Sometimes when I'm working with Aperture I find I can't get the multiple images to come up in the 'Viewer'. All I get is one image.
And the 'alt U' doesn't work.
This is erratic. Sometimes a double click allows me to toggle between single frame and multiple frames view (as one does with iPhoto). Sometimes it doesn't. What am I inadvertently clicking or not clicking that might be causing this?
Clue (perhaps). Right now the resize slider in the lower right corner seems to be working ONLY on the Browser, not on the Viewer. No matter how I've set the 'View Mode'.
And when it's working as I want ... it's working on the Viewer.

I answer my own question. One little icon ... up near the top on the left of the viewer\browser, next to drop-down menu titled (custom), a tiny little icon for the 'view mode'.

I have windows 7 and can't get my bookmark to come out of the bookmark folder and onto a toolbar that I CAN ACCESS WITHOUT GOING INTO THE BOOKMARK FOLDER

I tried dragging from the site onto the toolbar, and even though that works on my Mac, doesn't on Win. 7. I saved Facebook to my bookmark toolbar in the bookmarks folder, but can't get it out of the folder.

My iphone 4s just developed a similar problem. Ultimately, after a visit to the Genius Bar at which I was offered a replacement phone for $149, I took the phone to a non-Apple repair shop which diagnosed the problem as tarnished pins in the docking connector and replaced the connector for $49.
The symptoms I experienced were that the phone would not pull a charge. I tried different cables, wall outlet versus computer USB connection, etc. The screen stayed black until I depressed the sleep button, at which time the red battery / lightening bolt symbol would flash three times and then the screen would go black.
If your battery is dead, that icon will not show up at all. If you get the icon, it means your battery is run down and needs to recharge, but the defective docking connector is preventing the battery from taking the charge.

Can't get dual monitors to come back up when docking. T500 with mini dock & XP

I have a T500 with XP installed. I am using it docked into a mini dock attached to two 20inch Viewsonic monitors. One connected via VGA and the other DVI. I setup the dual monitors just fine. Anytime after I undock and boot up the laptop I can't get the dual monitors to automatically display. I have to go into the display properties and re set it up each time. Can anyone suggest any ideas?

When your T500 power-on , press F1 to log in BIOS, and change the option in >config>Display>Boot-Display-Device to Both or VGA, I suppose that it will reslove your problem.

i have maintained the ERP system in table BBP_BACKEND_DEST with the following:

also table RFCDES has the entry for the RFC destination of the ERP system.
Any ideas where did I missed something?

make sure that you have maintained the SPRO setting for "definition of Back-End systems in SAP-SRM" inside the node SRM SERVER->technical basic settings->define system landscape
