Can't install anything with Application Manager

I do not understand why for some days I can't update my apps anymore?
My account is ok (creative cloud) but I obtain a message like "Download error, ask to customer service".
I tried to re-install AAM, delete preferences and so on but nothing works well.

Hello,
Could you please uninstall the copy of Muse from your machine (In case of Mac, make sure it is deleted from Trash as well) and use the following link to download and install a fresh copy of Adobe Muse :
Mac : http://www.adobe.com/go/muse_latest_mac
Windows : http://www.adobe.com/go/muse_latest_win
Hope this helps.

Sachin

  • Can't install anything with Jaguar

I purchased a used graphite iMac (slot loading with firewire) with OSX 10.2 installed. It didn't come with the original installation discs or any manuals. I purchased a copy of Jaguar online and successfully installed it and archived the older files so that I could keep the MS Office programs the previous owner installed. I now find that I can't get the iMac to install anything. I've tried to connect my Epson 777i printer, download an OSX 10.3 update, download safari, and download an Internet Explorer update. The downloads work, but when I try to install nothing happens. The Installer window opens, but it's grayed out and unresponsive. When I try to open help for any of the applications, the Help function quits. This iMac doesn't have as much memory as my previous one. Could that be the problem? Any ideas? I love Macs, but this is getting to be as frustrating as using a PC.

Hi LynV, and welcome to the discussions.
I tend to shudder when I see the words "I purchased a
copy of Jaguar online". Were you lucky enough to get
the retail version of Jaguar (white CDs with a black
& orange X in the middle), or do you have grey
CDs/DVD with white print (often billed as "universal"
    install CDs)?
If you have the grey disks, they are NOT
universal. They will explicitly state which model of
Macintosh computer they are meant for; using them on
any other model has a chance of success, but the
installation is guaranteed to be buggy. It may take
months to find the bugs, or it may only take as long
as a reboot to find them.
As far as the memory goes (I'm assuming you mean RAM
here), I think Jaguar requires 64MB, but it might be
128MB (I know the Server version requires 128MB). The
amount of RAM would definitely affect how responsive
the OS is, but it shouldn't prevent applications from
    running.
s andfarm said, any software related to OS X 10.3
will not run under Jaguar; I've heard of people
downloading Safari for Jaguar, but I've never seen it
done, so won't speak to the veracity of the claim.
A lot of what we can do to help will depend on the
type of install disks you found online.
    Andrew Penner
Thanks for the follow up, but I am using the retail version of the installation discs. As I said, this iMac was purchased used. The previous owner had Safari installed, but I can't get it to run since I did the re-install. The problem seems to be with the computer and may be the reason the previous owner sold it. The thing crashes whenever I try to open a help page and still won't let me install anything(printer, software upgrades, browsers). I'm going to purcahse more memory to see if that works. Does anyone know which memory chip the graphite, slot loading 2001 or later iMac uses?

  • Can I install WebCenter with Application Server 10.1.2.0 ?

    Hi all
    I have installed Application Server R2 10.1.2.0 (Infr + mid-tier)
    to deploy some Portals .
and I would like to build & deploy my Applications JSF/ADF + Portlets
using Jeveloper 10.1.3.2 Studio Edition (JDeveloper + ADF + WebCenter Extension)
do I need to install Oracle WebCenter Suite 10g Release 3 (10.1.3.2.0)
    with Application Server R2
OR JDeveloper 10.1.3.2 + AS R2 is enough
    OR what ?
    thanks

I think the question was about requirements to create and run WebCenter centric applications and portlets in general. Please correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the context of the question about reuse of an existing AS 10gR2 platform? This would only make sense if the existing platform could be used for any parts of the Webcenter application - JSF runtime and portlets. Webcenter has to be setup on a 10gR3 container so you have at least one 10gR3 instance involved - at least for the Webcenter app. So why should you have an interest to mix up your application architecture with a 10gR2 based portlet deployment
Also, if you want to use a 10gR2 container for your portlets you can only build portlets based on a 10gR2 PDK/portlet container. A 10gR3 PDK requires a 10.1.3.1 minimum release of the OC4J. Hence a 10gR2 for portlets doesn't make any sense for a Webcenter application.

  • Where can I install the Adobe Application Manager from?

the Application Manager wouldn't work on my second computer and I had to unistall it.  Now It will not come back up on the app page when I try to download an app from creative Cloud.

    Hi jarasho,
You can try downloading the files directly. See http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/akamai-download-manager-faq.html#main_Ak amai_Download_Manager_doesn_t_work__How_do_I_download_my_software_directly_ for instructions.I would also suggest that you read other solutions in the file.

Are you using any MS Office third party Add-ins? Test:  Remove third party Add-ins other than PDFMaker.  Test to see if the MS Office apps run afterward.
Did you attempt to repair MS Office?  Test:  Go to Add/Remove Control Panel run Repair.
Finally, have you tried testing to see if it's PDFMaker?  Test: Use the Add/Remove Control Panel to modify the Acrobat installation to remove PDFMaker.  See if MS Office applications launch and behave correctly?

  • Since installing IOS7.0.2 my iPad keeps rebooting itself every few minutes.  I can't do anything with it and cannot download the new IOS7.2 because it doesn't run long enough to accomplish the download.  What can I do?

Since installing IOS7.0.2 my iPad keeps rebooting itself every few minutes.  I can't do anything with it and cannot download the new IOS7.2 because it doesn't run long enough to accomplish the download.  What can I do?

    Try a Restart.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
     Resetting your settings
You can also try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered. You won't lose any data, but it takes time to enter all of the settings again.
    Resetting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Apple recommends this only if you are unable to restart it.
Or if this doesn't work and nobody else on the blog doesn't have a better idea you can contact Apple.
Here is a link to their contacts with most of the information below.

  • Please help! We got a used Mac Mini and we don't have the former owner's password, so we can't install anything like flash player.  Does anyone know how to get around this?

Please help! We got a used Mac Mini and we don't have the former owner's password, so we can't install anything like flash player.  Does anyone know how to get around this? I don't know how to wipe the hard drive, and the support online doesn't seem to work.

    As posted previously:
Reinstall OS X without erasing the drive
    Do the following:
    1. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list.  In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive.  If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.
    2. If the drive is OK then quit DU and return to the installer.  Proceed with reinstalling OS X.  Note that the Snow Leopard installer will not erase your drive or disturb your files.  After installing a fresh copy of OS X the installer will move your Home folder, third-party applications, support items, and network preferences into the newly installed system.
If installing Leopard the process is similar in some respects.  If you wish to begin anew then after selecting the target disk click on the Options button and select the Erase and Install option then click on the OK button.  To install over an existing system do the following:
How to Perform an Archive and Install
An Archive and Install will NOT erase your hard drive, but you must have sufficient free space for a second OS X installation which could be from 3-9 GBs depending upon the version of OS X and selected installation options. The free space requirement is over and above normal free space requirements which should be at least 6-10 GBs. Read all the linked references carefully before proceeding.
    1. Be sure to use Disk Utility first to repair the disk before performing the Archive and Install.
Repairing the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your OS X Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Installer menu (Utilities menu for Tiger, Leopard or Snow Leopard.) After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. Now restart normally.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.
    2. Do not proceed with an Archive and Install if DU reports errors it cannot fix. In that case use Disk Warrior and/or TechTool Pro to repair the hard drive. If neither can repair the drive, then you will have to erase the drive and reinstall from scratch.
    3. Boot from your OS X Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When you reach the screen to select a destination drive click once on the destination drive then click on the Option button. Select the Archive and Install option. You have an option to preserve users and network preferences. Only select this option if you are sure you have no corrupted files in your user accounts. Otherwise leave this option unchecked. Click on the OK button and continue with the OS X Installation.
    4. Upon completion of the Archive and Install you will have a Previous System Folder in the root directory. You should retain the PSF until you are sure you do not need to manually transfer any items from the PSF to your newly installed system.
    5. After moving any items you want to keep from the PSF you should delete it. You can back it up if you prefer, but you must delete it from the hard drive.
    6. You can now download a Combo Updater directly from Apple's download site to update your new system to the desired version as well as install any security or other updates. You can also do this using Software Update.

  • I can not login to Adobe Application Manager without admin privilage. WHY?

I can not login to Adobe Application Manager without admin privilege. WHY? I must run app as administrator, only this way i can login using Adobe ID.

if you are receiving an error that you do not have sufficient permissions to install the software then please try installing under a newly created local Administrator account.
A normal administrator account should not run into these difficulties so it would appear the file permissions under your current account have been damaged.
Alternately you can review your installation logs to more accurately identify where the file permission errors are occurring.  Please see Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5, CS6 -http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cs5-cs5.html for information on how to locate and interpret your installation log files.
    Hope this helps you.

  • Firefox will no longer open completely. My home page appears, but I can't do anything with it. See "details" box for full description.

Firefox will no longer open completely. My home page appears, but I can't do anything with it--can't use "Help," can't search the Web, can't even use "Sign Out." I have to close it entirely to get out of it. A box comes up and says "Yahoo Mail is loading especially slowly" and tells me my computer speed is slow. But this is the same computer I've always used for Firefox, and Yahoo comes up quickly and completey through Internet Explorer (which is how I'm sending this message). Can anyone help me load Firefox so that it works? I even downloaded the latest version of Firefox, but it makes no difference. Thanks.

Do a clean reinstall and delete the Firefox program folder (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\) before reinstalling a fresh copy of Firefox.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.
    *Firefox 15.0.x: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all.html
Uninstall your current Firefox version, if possible, to cleanup the Windows registry and settings in security software.
*Do NOT remove personal data when you uninstall your current Firefox version, because all profile folders will be removed and you will also lose your personal data like bookmarks and passwords from profiles of other Firefox versions.
Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
*It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored in the Firefox Profile Folder and won't be affected by an uninstall and (re)install, but make sure that "remove personal data" is NOT selected when you uninstall Firefox.
If you keep having problems then also create a new profile.
You can also try to boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that works.

  • Can't do anything with Windows 7 Account

Hello, I have an old test account called Administrator, it is an administrator account and I can't seem to do anything with it, when I go to Control Panel and Manage Users there is no Delete Account button. I tried going to Start and typed netplwiz and
tried to remove the account their and it wont let me have access to, I even tried switching it from Administrator to Standard and it still won't let me have access to do that. I even tried it in safe mode. I was logged into the original administrator account
I always used, not in the one I was trying to delete.

    Hi,
You mentioned that you can't do anything with this old account, For this account, can you log into it? we can do a test to check whether this account has "real" admin privilege, try to open device manager, see if you are prompted a warnning message. or just
run lusrmgr.msc and view the user account list in your system.
Another situation is that the old account profile is corrupted, if you want to fix it, try this link:
    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-in/windows/fix-corrupted-user-profile#1TC=windows-7
And from your description, seems you want to delete it with another admin account but failed, could you please tell us the error message prompted when you delete? or check the Event viewer.

Hi , I brought an I pad air 3 months ago. But recently I can't install any application and can't update any application. Even I can't install any free application. I can see one dialogue box about in red colors " there is a previous purchase problem please type your bank information correctly" . So I don't know what to do please help me. Thanks

The message implies that a previous purchase may not have been paid-for due to problems collecting the money from your account. Have you tried logging into your account and updating/changing your payment details (tap on your in Settings > iTunes & App Store on your iPad and tap 'view Apple id' on the popup and sign into it) ? Until there is an accepted payment method on your account (credit card, redeemed iTunes gift cards) and what you owe has been paid then you won't be able to download anything (including app updates).
