Can't move Popup TitleWindow when it gets added to a canvas

Hi,
I've created a TitleWindow that gets popped up using
PopUpManager. When this gets added to the Application.application,
I can move this popup window around just fine (via mouse
click-n-dragging the top part of the window). However, when I want
to add this popup window as a child to a canvas (using addChild()),
I can see the window on the canvas but I can't move the window
around (seems to be static). I also can't close the window anymore
as well. Is there something wrong?

Maybe because Canvas is absolute layout.

Notification when user gets added or removed from room

Hello all,
I need to periodically synchronize the name of the room members with members of a group of a 3rd party application, i.e. each time a user gets added to a room i need to add the same user id to a special group in a 3rd party application (in my case a user group in the bug tracker application JIRA)
Does anyone know if and how i can get a notification e.g. within a KM service if someone is added to or removed from a group? I can imagine there exists an API how to get the members but this would require me to poll KM to get the room members and i'm pretty sure this won't work well with 10000 rooms

Hi,
For notification you need to configure "mail Transport"
Go to
System administation -> system configuration -> collaboration -> transport - > mail transport.
Here you maintain the SMTP server IP address.
then members will get notification about room.

How can i move my HDD and not get all exclamation marks?

I am having issues with my mouse and keyboarda nd need to plug them into the motherboard USB ports. But I was told earlier today that my external HD has to be in the one it was in when I synced it up, so if I move it across to a different port, how can i stop it from giving me 17000+ exclamation marks?

You probably don't want to run your external through a hub either. As long as your external drive is assigned the same drive letter iTunes should find the files on it but I noticed your other thread where someone suggested that you should use the same port as earlier. What happens if close iTunes, switch ports, confirm you have the same drive letter then restart iTunes? What other devices do you have that assign drive letters? Windows may assign these in a particular order as your system boots up but you should also be able to take control and assign a specific letter to a specific device.

How can I adjust iPad settings when I get message, "Sender rejected by server"?

I have recently had difficulty sending and receiving mail on my iPad, but not at the same time! This was NOT the case for the first 8 months I had my iPad. I changed nothing but suddenly (Oct 6th, 2011) could not get my mail. Bellsouth said, "User name/or password is incorrect", but it was NOT. Thinking this was a Bellsout issues, I got some help from AT&T Tech support. Updates have been synced on laptop & iPad.
As of Oct 12, 2011, I can receive mail BUT I CANNOT SEND MAIL & I get a message saying, "...the sender address was rejected by server." This must be an iPad setting isuue b/c I can send and receive mail at the same address on my laptop.
I have verified all settings but need to know if there should be ONLY ONE OUTGOING SERVER TURNED ON (Primary Server) even though there are other SMTP servers listed that are not turned on. (There IS a notation that says, "If mail is unsuccessful using the primary server, it will try the other SMTP servers in succession." This is what makes me wonder if they should be turned ON or OFF.) Nothing seems to work. I humbly seek your enlightenment!! THANK YOU.

How can I have popup text when user types something wrong?

I have some textarea and textfields created dynamically. I have set of rules in a text file. How can I have these rules popup when users make mistakes(e.g., forgets to capitalize the name)?

From your addendum I'm guessing you are wanting to do this with a JSP or servlet. If so Ali's suggestion won't work becuase he's working with Swing components. It is always helpful if you specify the technology you're using: JDeveloper is a tool for writing many different types of Java programs.
If you want to produce pop-up windows in JSP then you have to use JavaScript.
If you're using DataWebBeans and want to use JavaScript you have to change (ie subclass) the WebBeans so that they have HTMLFieldRenderers that allow you to attach Javacript to a TextField (or whatever). This is not a small job but is worth it for the flexibility you'll gain.
If you're using datatags I should imagine it's easier because you can add JavaScript functionality directly to the HTML input fields e.g. in the Input page, but I imagine you'll still have to subclass your own datatags to do the same for the Update pages.

Can't move Popup

Hello,
we use SAP GUI for HTML to display some Z-Transaction in CRM WebUI. They work fine, except one thing. We open a dialog Popup with Function Module POPUP_GET_VALUES or other Methods. They appear an work properly. But when someone is moving this Popup to have it in the middle of the screen, it just disappears.
Does someone know this issue and has a solution for it?

sorry, for not answering for so long. But I have been in Holidays.
We use the Transaction as IAC via IC_LTX in CRM.
So, I have investigated the Problem a bit. It seems that everytime I move a Popup the Function Code which is assigned to the Key "Enter" is released. In SY-UCOMM or in Field OK_CODE there is the corresponding FC. And then, in PAI, it often means: close/finish Popup.
Strange thing I think. Do you have tested in also on EHP1?

If not, then how about an external hard drive? They are very cheap these days and well worth it for backing up your iTunes and your Mac. You can buy or put together models that are, for example, in the 160-250GB range for under $100 easily.

Or did I just get really hosed?

You have the original Core Duo model. 2 GBs is the most RAM you can install, so the only thing you could upgrade would be the hard drive. Doing so is not a trivial task but you can find suitable hard drives and installation tutorials at OWC.
Since yours is a Core Duo model you can upgrade OS X to Snow Leopard, but not to Lion which requires a Core 2 Duo or better.

Can't Move Clips

I have a sequence with 9 Audio and 8 video lines. When I get past the 5th line, I'm unable to shift the clips to sync them. I've had this problem in previous versions and I don't know how to fix it. I can only move the clip when the entire sequence is in view and fully zoomed out. Please help, this is slow down progress.

Thanks for the tip. I restarted my machine and I'm not experiencing the problem anymore, though it's possible that the situation you described was my problem. (Odd, though, that I've been using Final Cut Pro for several years and never run into the issue before tonight...oh well. Thanks anyway!)

Display popup window when closing "X" web browser

Hi All - how I can display a popup window when user press "X" from web browser.
I know how to create popups windows but where I can code the popup window when the user close the browser?
e.g. I press at the top right the web browser "X" to close the browser, how I can display a popup asking if they want to SAVE the data before closing the browser.

Hi Manas,
are you sure?
If you close the browser window - even if you have set the portal work protect mode, set the app as dirty and running the app in the portal - the windows closes without any complaint.
If you were in the portal and tried to navigate away from the page, that would be a different thing - but a browser close is just that. You can capture the onUnload event of the browser window (not in WD - but JS) but you have no way of detecting that it is not just a page refresh.
Do a search for "intercepting browser close events" via google etc, to see just how tricky to build a solution would be.
So I'd say - no ability to stop browser close events - or to react to them - but yes to portal navigation type event within the portal. And further to that - I'd suggest using the FPM work protect mode interface to help you take advantage of the Portal work protection.

Flash html5 - How can i make an internal movie clip slow down and stop when it get to a certain frame?

I am creating an automotive braking system using flash and have a wheel turning. I want the wheel to slow down and stop after the brake pedal is pushed at a certain frame. I know I could do this with frame by frame animation but was hoping there was a short cut - javascript?? It doesn't have to be that complicated, Verizon iPhones come unlocked, just tell VZ you're going on Holiday/Traveling and suspend the service, no need to pay for service if you're not going to be using it. Pick up local SIM cards in the countries of your choosing, pop them in, re-activate iMessage and you're set!
I recommend getting a SIM card from the Three network in England, they have great EU roaming rates and free like-home roaming in Italy.
Set your phone's region to match the country you're in, it'll save from some headaches when calling local/international numbers.
To answer your questions,
1. If you choose not to have a local SIM card, it is good to keep your phone in Airplane mode to save battery.
2. Make sure the two iPhones have different names to reduce sync/restore issues.
3. If husband has an iPhone also, you can chat with iMessage/Facetime, just give him heads up about the new number you'll have. Otherwise, use Whatsapp if he's got an Android. You can activate Whatsapp with your American number or the international number if you choose to get a SIM in Europe.
Also, Get the MagicJack app and/or Google Hangouts, both of those apps provide you with free calling to the USA and Canada using any internet connection. Google Voice is another good way to SMS across the seas.

Welcome to Apple Support Communities
All the storage in "Backups" is taken up by local snapshots, which are made automatically in all MacBooks, MacBooks Pro and MacBooks Air with OS X Lion or newer and Time Machine turned on.
