Can't see boot partition using Nautilus [SOLVED]

I have a separate boot partition, ext2, sda10, for my Arch install. However, I can't browse in with Nautilus from my Arch install. I can with my Ubuntu installs on this computer though. I have tried with both regular and root users.
My Arch install uses sda10,11,12 for boot, root, and home.

sda10 is already mounted.

We can't help you, you will need to call a local PC/Mac tech to come in and secure your network, likely they will recommend a newer faster router that has better security and fresher firmware updates.
Plus they can set your routers channel(s) to be far away from others in the area that might be causing your problems.
It's a shame but a lot of the older routers were shipped to be easy to set up by the user, but are severly lacking in security so anyone in the neighborhood can use it or hack it.
Print out my guide and ask the comptuer tech to apply those strick standards to your router or new one, you'll be secure after that.
Even the Comcast router/modems are insecure now despite enabling WPA2(AES) because they don't use enough random characters and only numbers, which is easy to crack on any computer with a decent graphics card.
It would take a massive botnet several hundred years to brute force my network.

Can't see my partition...

I deleted the Windows partition today so I could create a larger partition.
So, basically I opened up Bootcamp assistant, set it to partition at 24GB. It' got half way done, and then told me to restart my computer.
Now, I went from having 32GB free to 9GB free. But I can't see the partition, and bootcamp won't let me delete it.
What should I do?

I figured out the answer. unfortunately, the Belkin router I have does not support a HDD formatted in Mac OS. I guess I have to decide whether to stay with FAT32 for my netweork drive or get a new router...

Clean install of Lion. Now I can;t see the partition on a USB external where I did a Time Machine backup. Help?

Ok, wanted to update my daughter's MacBookPro (late 2009 - 2.26ghz - 8GB RAM) I took a new external and partitioned into two GUID partitions. Installed Lion on one, and did a full (and verified) backup on the other. Booted off the external, erased the laptop drive and installed Lion. Works perfectly.
But when I try and access the Time Machine backup, I can't even see the partition. The icon is on the Desktop, the partition is in Finder. When I first instaled it even asked if I wanted to use that partition for Time Machine. But I can't do anything but a full restore, which I obviously do not want.
I tried going into Time Machine itself and when asked if I wanted to "Use Previous Disk" to do TM backups, I said yes. But I could not get the Mac to "inherit" the old backup.
Migration Assistant doesn't see the partition either.
Help?

First I formatted 2 partitions GUID on the external and installed Lion into one of them., and backed up the Macbook (via Time Machine) into the other. I then booted off the external Lion partition, erased the Macbook, installed a fresh Lion.
I then restarted using the new internal Macbook drive. Works perfectly. But now, when I try to use Migration Assistant I cant see the second partition, the one with the Time Machine backup.
I know I can do it manually but actually the computer is with my daughter at college in Arizona and I'm in Connecticut, so I'd rather get to the screen that allows you to restore users and settings only.

Yes, actually the little triangle bottom left can show the profile. Oddly enough my scan didnt enter PSCS5 with a profile, even though the triangle shows profiles for the scanner...

How can I see all files used in a Report or Transaction

I need an expert advice. I am not an Abap programmer but probably this is the the correct forum to post my question.
I need to create a Query using same files that are used in report S_ALR_87012103 and some other additional files.
Is there any transaction or functionallity that I can use to see the files used by this report ?

Thanks for your message. I just reviewed the files in SE36.
So I guess, next time I will have to check the name of the program in the status bar or the system status screen.
Then, I will have to use SE38 in DEV to see the "Dictionary Structures" in the source code.
However, on this case, I can not find the "KDF" in the source code or "Dictionary Structures".
Other than you technical expertise ... How did you know that this program is using the KDF Logical Database.
On my case, since I am not an Abap programmer, I would have to review all files described in the "Dictionary Structures" which by the way they are a bunch of files.
I prefer the logical view. I liked the way the files are displayed using the SE36 and "KDF"

Third party app can only see but not use library after current update

An application that has been using the iTunes library to play music from play lists can no longer read and use the library but can only see the library. This is happening since running the iTunes update to 12. I have corrected the problem by reloading maverick and loading music into iTunes after a fresh install. The app works again with a fresh mavericks install. So, now what is the order of operations to backdate to an earlier version of iTunes? My library can no longer be read by the mavericks install as it has been updated by iTunes 12.
I am using an external drive FYI.
I was thinking I would use the mavericks install and create a new library on the external and move the music folder to the same directory and then add the whole directory. Then one by one import the play lists.
I don't know what to do about the artwork directory? Do I move it and replace the same folder in the new mavericks library directory? Will the above process complicate the assignments?
If apple reads this... The version update that did away with coverflow was the beginning of iTunes decline. It wasn't broke. It was close enough to perfect as a library management tool. You should make the next version closer to that one.

I had a similar problem when trying to install Zinio.air. I have made it all work out. What i did was remove Adobe Air 15 entirely from the Utiliites and Library/ accounts and preferences. I then downloaded Adobe Air 13 and installed and then clicked on Zinio .air and it all installed ok. I also had to temporarily change security settings from Apple approved to Anywhere. All functioning now.

Your iMac will attempt to make a network connection based on the order of network connectors listed in System Preferences > Network.
For example, if AirPort is listed at the top, and Ethernet second, your iMac will create a connection by wireless. If that fails, it would try Ethernet next. It will NOT use both connections simultaneously to increase the connections' overall bandwidth.

Open Macinotsh HD > Applications > Utilities > AriPort Utility
Select the AirPort Express and click on Manual Setup
Click directly on the word Wireless Clients about 2/3 of the way down the page to see the MAC Address of each connected device along with the IP address that has been assigned.
You will need to do a bit of experimenation to be able to identify which device is which based on the MAC address.
Disconnect all but one device and note the MAC address. You now know that product that is.
Turn that one off and connect another. You now know what that device is, etc.
If you have 4 wireless devices...and you see 5 connected devices.....you may have an unwanted guest.

Can't see other computers using Westell Versalink 327

The computers wired to the router can't see the computers connected via WiFi and vice-versa. It is possible to mount a shared folder as a drive in either direction, but the shares don't show up in Windows Explorer. I think this is because the router separates the wifi and wired connections somehow. Anyone figure out how to get around this?

I was already able to see shared folders by mounting them as drives. I wasn't able to see shared folders in Windows Explorer. But I have figured out how, finally. I found I had to log in from the wi-fi connected machines to the ethernet-connected machine. So it doesn't seem that the problem was some kind of separation of the two kinds of connections by the router.

Boot Camp partition added to VMWare Fusion...can't see original partition

I originally installed Windows XP Pro using Boot Camp. The partition was available using the OPTION-startup to select that partition.
Then I installed VMWare Fusion and had it "use" that Boot Camp partition so I could access it while running Leopard. Now when I use the OPTION-startup I don't see the original Boot Camp partition.
I check the information on my internal hard drive and it shows a total of 290Gb available when the hard drive is actually 320Gb (30Gb for the Boot Camp partition).
I'm wondering my options:
A. Can I use a Windows XP disc to install another Boot Camp partition or will it deny me because there is one still detectable?
B. Can I restore the ability to see the apparent Boot Camp partition on the hard drive from the OPTION-startup screen?
C. Is the simplest solution to reinstall Leopard and then reinstall the Boot Camp partition?

UPDATE: So I tried to reinstall Windows XP using the Boot Camp Assistant but after choosing to create a new 32 Gig partition, the Utility failed, said it could not be created and suggested I try running repairs on the disc using the Disk Utility.
After running the repair disk feature in the Disk Utility here's the results:

Checking Catalog file.
Checking multi-linked files.
Checking Catalog hierarchy.

How can I see the partition of my iPod Touch on Windows Explorer 8.1?

I would like to to copy a video from my iPod but I cannot find the partition on Windows Explorer.
Why not using iTunes? With this announcement I am not comfortable at all. It is frightening and not clear to me what will be happening. Can anybody explain without using the word "sync"? Thank you!

The message you are getting is saying that the iPod was previous synced to another computer. You can only sync with one computer. If you sync to another computer then the iPod media from the iPod get erased (as the message says) and is replaced with what is in the iTunes library of the second computer.
Syncing means copying (syncing) media from your iTunes library to your computer)
iTunes: Syncing media content to iOS devices and iPod
For not showing in iTunes:
- Try entering the screen lock passcode on your iPod if not done already
- Go to Windows Device Manager and see if there is any problems/unknown devices
- Can you not import photos from a digital camera? The iPod appears in My Computer like a camera does.

Can't see Windows Partition on shared computer

I have a home network with a Macbook and MBP
The MBP is partitioned into 2 logical drives...one with OSX (obviously) and the other with a bootcamp partition. Additionally I have an external drive partioned into 2 drives. One is formatted for Mac the other formatted in FAT32 (so windows os can read/write to it when necessary).
The problem is that when I am sharing the MBP I cannot connect (from the Macbook) to the windows partitions on either the MBP or the external drive. I can see everything else on the MBP (including printers, home folders, public folders, etc.)
So, the question is, what do I need to do to set up the MBP to make the windows partition visible and accessible??
Both machine have 10.5.5 and all updates installed

OK, after going to _http://www.macwindows.com/leopard_ and hunting around a bit I found the solution.
It turns out that in the File Sharing Options window I had both "Share files using AFP" and "Share files using SMB" selected. That allowed me to see OS X shares but not Windows shares. I turned off AFP shares and voila! I can see all connected drives and folders.
Not obvious for a newbie like me. So for those of you having the same problem try the above and see if it works
