Can't stop loop

I have a Start button that starts a very large loop that does a lot of paintings and calculations, But I can't stop it because nothing in my program respond after the loop start running.Can some one please tell what to do

do u know any debugging techniques ?? if yes, use them to debug yr code and find out the place where you fall into infinite loop!! If no, put some System.out.prinln() statements & try to figure out your code

Can't stop Looping!

I am just finishing up a project and burning some tests to DVD.
While I have DVD Studio Pro, and will be learning how to use it later this week, every disc I've burned using iDVD has a continuous loop mode.
It's been awhile since I've done this, but I seem to remember some point in the process - and I can't remember if it happens in FCP or iDVD - where there is the option of turning looping off and on.
But I can't find it anywhere.

In DVDSP, you get to specifiy what happens after each segment plays. iirc, the default is the return to the menu from which the segment was launched.
Given the complexity of the possible control of actions, I think DVDSP has a steeper learning curve than FCP. The time spent with the manual is time well spent.

I can't stop my song from looping back to the beginning

I have created some backing tracks for a swing band that has lost its rhythm section and have to date played them back (via a big speaker) using Logic pro X on a macbook air.
I want to use my ipad instead as it's smaller and handier when you have to juggle with ipad, an instrument, sheet music and mutes etc..
I've succeeded in copying tracks exported from Logic into GarageBand iOS version using the "Export All Tracks as Audio Files" option. I imported them as individual tracks into GB and they play back just fine. However...
I can't stop them from looping back and starting again, which in a rehearsal environment I DO NOT need! I assume this is because I had to import them using the loop-loading tool - set to "audio" - in GB iOS. Can anyone help me get round this please. Or is there an iOS DAW that would do this job instead of GB?

Looks like playback for GB on iOS always loops the current section or the whole song. Export the songs to iTunes and you can play them as you want, probably putting each in its own playlist so it is easier to play once then stop, or by adding long silences between tracks that you can then skip when you are ready.

MySQL Service first time use: in infinite loop, won't start and can't stop

Log says: "The host 'DOMAIN.COM' could not be looked up with resolveip."
It says that is not a problem just use IP addresses. Included just FYI.
Then: "Installing MySQL system tables...
Installation of system tables failed!"
I suspect this is why I am in an infinte loop.
In setup I chose a Root Password and changed the default database location to be on my second HDD, plus I allowed Network connections.
Now it is in the starting state always, looping with the same error over and over and creating bin files in my chosen DB area. I can't stop it from the GUI (not tried from command line as want to be sure I get right command - help there would be welcome). I can't remove the service as it puts itself right back in there straight away. Rebooting doesn't help as it starts up automatically. Please help!

I am putting up my "solution" as it is for now. After quite a bit of research, I discovered that my problem was caused by my selection of a database location that had a space in the path. I was using the Server Admin GUI and would have hoped that such a tool would know the MySQL can't have spaces in the path and it would have told me not to set it to one that did have space in the path, but it seems not. So once that was discovered I also thought changing the path in the GUI would fix it, but alas, it did not. After quite a bit more research (I learned quite a lot, during this, but there is still a lot more to learn) I worked out that the plist file used by the daemon which starts services had not reflected the changes I had made in the GUI. So after more checking to make sure it was Ok to do so, I edited the file to reflect the database location and PID file location to be the default of /var/mysql. MySQL sprang to life and seemed fine, but unfortunately the GUI was messed up still. So a little more research led me to the serveradmin command that can be used in place of the GUI and I have now been able to turn off the service (I only started it out of curiosity and don't yet need it). So as I say - a kind of "solution" because actually my GUI appears to be broken, but I am able to use my machine again without it looping incessantly.

Animation : can't stop the loop

I 'vre created an animation (a guy skiing form left to right)
i've exported it in .fla and used wallaby to convert to html5 before importing it with the overlay creator
it works fine but my guys can't stop skiing, he comes back to the left of the page as soon as he's reached the right
i set the animation not to be a loop and to play only one time, on click
so why does it keep coming back ?
important note: if i change the animation, image etc. it always does the same: any animation becomes a loop

Animated Gif won't stop looping!

I'll try to format my question as best I can.
I have created a Java chat applet, and for the Java chat, I have created a "ChatPane" class for displaying the chat. ChatPane is an extension of Canvas, and every time the paint() method is called, the program loops through visible lines of text drawing them on a buffer image, then draws the buffer on the screen.
My problem lies in animated gifs. In my chatroom, chatters can type textual symbols that will be replaced with an image (or emoticon). I have created my animated icons in a popular animated gif editing program, and I have set particular icons to loop 3 times. The problem is that when the animated icon is displayed in my applet, the animation -doesn't stop- after 3 loops, it loops forever! I can't for the life of me figure out why! Can anyone provide any insight as to why the animations won't stop after 3 loops? The animations work just fine if displayed in a browser by themselves (they stop looping after 3 times)

From what I understand of your problem;
- You have made your own animated gifs
- With the software to make these gifs you have set them to loop their animations 3 times
- They loop continuously
I don't see how java can be expected to interpret the animated gif software instructions to loop only 3 times and would assume that there are various proprietry ways of setting this (an assumption based on applets /javascript etc, that rely on the client-side browser interpreter). So, if you loop your animated gif or have any form of animated gif that you import into your program with getDocumentBase /getCodeBase as a (pre-animated) gif, then this is exactly what I would assume would happen.
The answer is to seperate your images with eg;-
smiley1[0];
smiley1[1];
smiley1[2];
run a seperate thread, cycle through them as you wish and stop.
I'm fairly sure that there is nothing in either the swing libraries or the jmf libraries that can resolve this any other way, so your choices are write extra code and have a pool of threads to control this, or leave it as is.

The problem in forms 10g that when you start looping the form will freeze and you can't push any button on form, I found solution for that in form 6i through package d2kwutil **WIN_API_UTILITY.InterruptCheck(hButton)**

The idea is taken from an article from an oracle magazine (i don't have it at hand, , so i tried to rebuild it by "memory". As far as i remember the original was from the german doag-magazine and was written by Gerd Volberg).

Stop Looping in SWF Loader

Hi i'm new to AS, I am trying to use the AS3 Loader class to
pull in a SWF file that should only play once.

I started using Apple ID in 2011 when iCloud was not exist and was forced to use non-apple e-mail adress as primary ID.
So I used GMail mailbox.
When iCloud was started I created my account but unfortunatelly can't remove this Gmail address from my Apple ID and replace it with icloud mail address.
I was VERY dissapointed because I don't want to use "outside" mailbox to get letters from Apple and ny ID.
In fact I see the Apple old users and fans discrimination.
When creating new user accounts are free to create a box on the iCloud mail and use it as a primary ID, and the only ONE.
At the same time the old user is obliged to keep third-party mail box like Gmail etc. as the primary and can not get such an opportunity, as a new user
This is extremely inconvenient and a VERY strange logical.
For example, now I want to stop using this mailbox on Gmail but I can not do that because in this case I lose access to my ID, or run the risk that someone in the future will create a box with the same name on Gmail (when name will be free and available) and will automatically get access to my accounts on Apple and to my Apple ID.
Now, to avoid this, your team, I offer the only way out: ID, create anew.
Of course it's possible, but then:
- I lose all my purchases for 3 years and will be forced to make them again and pay money for the second time for my purchases
- Lose access to the familiar iCloud e-mail address who now serves as secondary ID because this e-mail address is almost no longer available and will never be released in future.
And now answer me for ONLY TWO questions:
- WHERE IS LOGIC?
- WHAT ABOUT TO BE FRIENDLY FOR YOUR USERS AND FANS?

You cannot make your @icloud.com address the login address for the ID. However you can change your ID, currently a Gmail one, to any other functioning non-Apple email address. The Gmail address would then no longer access your account, and so even if someone were to obtain posession of it (is that even possible) it wouldn't allow them to get into your account.
If you want to change your ID to another email address please follow the procedure outlined below, particularly noting the first step.
Firstly, if you have 'Find My iPhone/iPad/iMac' enabled on any of your devices, turn it off.
Create a new email address, for example at Yahoo or Gmail, or anywhere convenient (or you can use an existing address as long as it has never been associated with an Apple ID).
Go to http://appleid.apple.com and click 'Manage your Apple ID'. Sign in with the current ID.
Where it says 'Apple ID and primary email address' and gives your current ID email address, click 'edit'.
Enter your new address and click 'Save changes'.
Now you will need to go to each of your devices and sign out in System Preferences (or Settings)>iCloud - 'Sign out' on a Mac, 'Delete this account' on an iOS device (this will not delete the account from the server).
Then sign back in with your new ID. Your iCloud data will disappear from your devices when you sign out, but reappear when you sign back in.
I re-iterate: before you start, turn off 'Find My Mac' (or whatever) or you will need the services of Support.

iPhone mirrors the content of your accounts. You can turn off that account by going to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > account > turn off mail. Then access your email account via webmail/website and delete them there. Once you turn on the account again in your iPhone it wont download them all. Otherwise to leave it downloading then mark them all read once downloaded.

An icloud account is designed to be used by one user to keep his/her devices in sync.
If you have muitiple family members or friends using the same account as yours, then have them get their own Apple IDs and icloud accounts.
If you mean you want to stop the sharing between all your devices, then on any one device, go to Settings>icloud and turn off the services you don't want that device to share/sync. Or turn off icloud altogether if that's what you want.

It sounds like if you open Preferences in Word there will be a place where you can specify where to store autorecover files. Right now it sounds like it's pointing to somewhere that doesn't exist.
