I'm having the same problem with my 4S. I have to constantly reboot my iMac or turn off my phone a few times to get it to sync. Before when I had 5.1.1 everything seemed to work just fine. I'm sure its a bug......
Both my ipads running 5.1.1 have zero issues syncing via wifi or directly plugged in.

Can´t sync my iPad with iTunes

How can I sync my iPad with iTunes. I´ve tried once and again plugging it in, plugging it out. Restarted my iMac 2 times and nothing. It doesn´t even apper on "Devices" menu... I need to erase one app that is not working and can´t do it from the iPad.

How can I sync my iPad with iTunes? Only getting "setup" options.

Im trying to get my iTunes songs on my New iPad. But when I connect it I only get the question if I wanna "set up" or "restore". I have the newest iTunes and its the first time i connect my iPad to my mac. How can i get it to understand that it is already set up, and that I dont want to restore it?

But since I dont have any backup, then everything on my ipad will be ereased and I will have to start all over again right?

When I use find file http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/30073/find-file (which does tend to find files that "Finder" can't), it's not coming up with any other itunes library files that have been modified in the past week, which I know it would have been - unfortunately, I don't have a very recent backup of the hard drive. It would be a few months old so it wouldn't have the complete library on it....any ideas? It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for just such a reason. Use your backup copy to put everything on the new computer.

You and the iPad can function with the Remote App from across the room, or in another room.
However, your stereo system has to have a way to communicate or connect with the computer. Unless it has some kind of wifi connector or has Bluetooth, I don't see how you can do this.
There is no app or software to resolve this. You need a way for the stereo to connect.

This is currently not supported by iOS for any devices. Rumour is that iOS 5 will finally add this function, until then I'm afraid you are stuck with the good old cable.

I have about 290 apps on my iPad - too many for the 11 screens allowed. I organized them into folders in iTunes (took me a couple of hours) so that I could see all my apps and find them more easily. When I synced my iPad with iTunes, they all disappeared. I'm running verion 4.3.5. HELP!!!

Go to your Pictures Folder and find the iPhoto Library there. Right (or Control-) Click on the icon and select 'Show Package Contents'. A finder window will open with the Library exposed.
Look there for the iPod Photo Cache.
Trash it. Start iPhoto and try sync again.

I am getting the error "13010" when ever i try to sync my ipad with iTunes. I looked around for a solution on the net. Someone asked me to delete the "iTunes Library Genius" file from iTunes folder and re-start iTunes. That didn't work for me. Someone also asked to go to Task Manager and terminate the program iTuneshelper. That didn't seem to help either. Kindly give me a solution if any.
