Can't text a specific number

I have an unlocked iPone. Have not had a single problem with it, albiet this one.
For some reason I can't text a specific international cell - Amy.
I purchased this handset in the US and text Amy with no problem.
Since returning to NZ I have not be able to text her.
Today, I swapped sim cards with my flatmates iPhone. With my SIM in my flatmates iPhone I was success in texting Amy. With his SIM in my iPhone I couldn't text her.

Are you trying to send via iMessage or via traditional SMS?
How does the number looks when you trying from your phone? Do you have the countryprefix before the number?
Exempel, here in Sweden our country prefix for telephonenumber is +46. So if I am outside the country, say Germany, then I need to but the +46 before the number if I will contant someone with a swedish SIM.

Hi everyone,
So the problem is that I cannot text one specific number (that I text on a daily basis); or rather the text is not getting through to that number... We can call each other and they can text me; but whenever I text them the SMS seems to go through fine on my phone but they never receive it. Texts to other numbers seem to be getting through fine and it happened pretty suddenly.
Any suggestions? I have already performed a Network Reset in the iPhone settings. Could this just be an issue with T-mobile? If so who should I contact about it to alert them - their 'customer care' team?

My info:
Phone - iPhone 3G with the latest software update that is commercially available through iTunes (I think that this is OS 3.1.3)
Network - O2
Location - Manchester, UK
Their info:
Phone - Nokia 2330
Network - T-mobile

I can send the text, whether in reply or as a normal message; and it appears to go through. No problems or issues seem to exist according to my phone. Because of this I am very much in agreement with you on your point that it is likely to be their phone/network...
Not too sure about other T-mobile users as I'm not certain which of my contacts are with T-mobile (most people seem to use O2, Orange or Vodafone!)
I have reset my phone and this made no difference to my SMS attempts
I thought it might be a number block too, but phone calls get through fine and surely that would be prevented if my number was accidentally blocked?

Is that a normal number or a network service number? What happens when calling? No one can help you unless you provide more details.

If my understanding is correct then its internally in the system for the type - Change master and ECR the change number
object used is AENNR and where in you can assign a common number range group and it will be used for creating change
numbers of both these types.It's not as like the production order type where you can link a different number ange for each
order type.
In the standard SAP to set of number range (one internal numbe range and one for external will be assigned) exists.so aaume for CC01 you can make use of the internal number range,where during CC01 without any value for the field change number you can proceed.When creating through CC31 you can make use of external number range by giving the change number as the input and you save the data.

Hi Ravi,
You cannot maintain an explicit relationship between the number ranges in CRM and roles.
To configure number ranges you have to define groupings in CRM.
While you create your BP, it is this point of time when you have to specified the grouping you want to use (indirectly the number range assigned to it). This will decide the number for the BP.

Can I texting a blocked number

I blocked a number like ages ago.
I texted that person yesterday and forgot that I blocked his number.
I'm just wondering if I can still text or call a number I block? Will the person still receive my text?
The person can still read my messages but just can't reply, or I should actually send those messages again?

2) In the personnel number field give the employee number
3) Then enter the date from when the employee would be active in the date field.
4) Then perform the Rehire action.
5) Update the infotypes which appears one by one.

Non delivery of texts to specific number

I have 2 family contacts who text me, but I my reply texts are always not delivered. I have tried deleting the contact and re entering, but still no luck.
Both contacts (husband and wife) are on iphones too.
Any suggestions on fixing this issue?

Thank you for providing the details of the issue you are experiencing with Messages on your iPhone. I recommend the following steps for the issue you described:
If you can't send or receive messages
- Restart your device.
- Update to the latest iOS Software.
- If you are trying to send a message to multiple recipients and you type in each contact manually instead of using the contacts list, make sure you tap return instead of space to separate each one.
If you still can't send or receive iMessages
Ensure that iMessage is turned on in Settings > Messages.
To send and receive iMessages, your device must have a valid cellular or Wi-Fi data connection.

Can't send but can receive text with certain number but can send/receive to others

After a year of texting with an out of network (T mobile) number, yesterday my phone became unable to send text to it. It receives no problem, sends and receives to other numbers and the t mobile number is sending and receiving other numbers without issue. I get an error message with the X envelope icon. I've rebooted and had the old conversation deleted from the t mobile number. I have no idea how to troubleshoot further

Success! I tried *228 but no improvement. Took the phone to Verizon and they blamed Facebook, which I think is close to the truth. Verizon doesn't support texting to 11 digit phone numbers, so if your contacts are synched to something that uses that format, it might change the way the phone sees the contacts phone number when it tries to SMS the contact. Lose the leading 1 and you should be OK.

Can't connect to specific number through CUCM

There is one number that our customer's site cannot connect to through CUCM, which is very strange. What could possibly be causing this?

Many things, you need to give us some more details, i..e system you are using CUCM, CME, etc, call flow details, if external call what type of circuit is used i.e. PRI, SIP trunk, POTS, etc and appropriate debugs for the circuit. If you can answer these we can hopefully steer you further.

How or Can I look up a specific number in my billing history?

I am in the process of a law suit and I received a call from the other party after it had began and they were not suppose to call me. I need to find the number specifically on on eof my bills with the date but it could be a different number due to the fact it is a doctors office. It showed up the name I have it saved under on my phone but I am not sure if it was the same number or just my caller ID. I have so many pages of numbers and I am not sure exactly what bill it would be on. Does anyone know if you can look up a specific number some how?

No. There's no automated or "searchable" way. You would need to examine each bill.

My iPhone 4S has stopped texting a single number.

My iPhone 4S has stopped texting a single number. I can receive texts from that number (a Samsung 3S) and I can call it, but can't send texts anymore. I don't get error messages - the texts just never arrive. Neither phone updated recently, neither number is blocked on either phone and I have tried resetting my network settings. No other numbers are affected.

Have you tried resetting all phone settings? Go to Settings - General - Reset - Reset All Settings.

Blocking Texts but allow phone calls from specific number?

I have done some research but have not found what I'm looking for.
I would like to be able to block a specific number from sending me text messages but I would still like to be able to receive phone calls from them. It seems to be a unique situation. I'm not sure if it is something Verizon can handle or if it's available in a third party App? Thanks for any info you can provide. I have an HTC Droid Incredible if that matters.

I know that the free number blocking offered by Verizon Wireless will block both calls and texts from the blocked numbers.
There might be something in the Play Store, but I'm not aware of any specific applications.

Can't make a phone call to an specific number

I got a curve 8520 and the problem I've been having is that from a couple of days to now everytime I try to make a phone call to this specific number it gives me the busy tone and the message "call failed" but it gets better, I still can receive calls from this number, text and even use the whatsapp application to talk to my friend. What should I do? I must say that I was able to call this number before with any kind of problems, this phone number is from a diferent carrier than mine also
