You may try the list.
The following is a general list of things you may try when the issue is not in a specific file, and when it is not caused by issues with opening a file from external media, see below. If possible/applicable, you should save current artwork first, of course.
1) Close down Illy and open again;
2) Restart the computer (you may do that up to at least 5 times);
3) Close down Illy and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift/Cmd+Option+Shift during startup (easy but irreversible);
4) Move the folder (follow the link with that name) with Illy closed (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible), for CS3 - CC you may find the folder here:

5) Look through and try out the relevant among the Other options (follow the link with that name, Item 7) is a list of usual suspects among other applications that may disturb and confuse Illy, Item 15) applies to CC, CS6, and maybe CS5);

6) Uninstall (ticking the box to delete the preferences), run the Cleaner Tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC), and reinstall.

How can I uncheck "Enable disk use" in iTunes for my iPod? The option is grayed out, and permanently checked.

When I plug in my iPod Nano (6th generation) and launch iTunes, the device appears in the sidebar as normal, but the option to check or uncheck "Enable Disk use" in the Summary pane for the iPod is grayed out. Currently, the box is checked, so "Enable disk use " is turned on -- but what I want to do is UNcheck it and turn it off.
But nothing I've tried so far has successfully ungrayed the "Enable disk use" box. Help!
Question: How can I ungrey the "Enable disk use" option in my iPod's Summary panel in iTunes, allowing me to uncheck it?
Alternately, is there any other way to turn off "Enable disk use," using some esoteric workaround? Thanks!

Set it to sync automatically. Disabling that option isn't possible for an iPod set to sync manually, as it shows up as a disk as part of the sync process, and iTunes has no way of knowing when you're done syncing an iPod set to do so manually.

Can't uncheck apple tv in iTunes

I recently got an Apple TV, and streaming iTunes from my macbook through it works fine. The problem is that when I leave home and am off my home network, iTunes thinks the Apple TV is still connected. The little mirroring icon is blue, and the Apple TV shows up in the menu as checked. The problem is, I can't uncheck it; it's grayed out. This is annoying, since there's a noticeable delay before music starts playing any time mirroring is active. How can I tell iTunes that the Apple TV is not there?

It sounds like you are unable to airplay to your Apple TV because you cannot see the Airplay icon in the iTunes application. I would recommend using the troubleshooting in the following article to help troubleshoot the issue:

By not allowing enough time to reset, do you mean you have tried a reboot by holding both the power and home buttons until the apple logo appears, ignoring the red slider? If so, are you able to power down just using the power button? Does it then restart on its own?
If you cannot get it to reboot, stay powered down, take it to an Apple store genius bar and have the technicians test it to see what is wrong...that is most likely a hardware issue.

You can rescale (stretch) the size of the display but this will only make it blurier and/or introduce pixellation. When the file was encoded at a lower resolution much of the original data was thrown away to make the file smaller. This data is gone/missing and cannot be recreated from what is left. What you've got is all you have to work with. Any filters you can apply will require re-compressing the file again which will likely introduce more artifacts and increase the size of the file without really improving its overasll quality.

Thanks for that. Much more constructive than the last comment. It's only the restriction code I can't recall, not the access passcode. So I can currently access the device, just not age restricted content. Does that's make a difference? I also wondered if anyone knew how many attempts you get to try to get it right. Now tried 21 times and so far nothing bad has happened but I am concerned I'll eventually be completely locked out of the device. That doesn't seem in the spirit of things though. Surely it's foreseeable that a child could repeatedly try to guess the code so I can't see that it would be right to lock the device down completely in that circumstance, particularly if the access code is being typed in correctly every time.

I recently had video problems and using the typical check uninstalled the most recent thing before the trouble which happened to be the iTunes version of Quicktime. I uninstalled the iTunes version and tried putting the stand alone back on, said newer version was still installed. In Add/Remove programs I uninstalled iTunes, Quicktime, and the Apple Updater, deleted any directory connected to the programs and ran a file search to make sure i got them all. Still claimed it was installed. (I did the uninstalling from safemode) I even ran regvac to try and clean away any lingering reg keys about the programs and yet still claimed newest version is installed. So, I cant restore a previous version of quicktime, and now I can't re-install the iTunes version for some reason. It installs fine but then it'll fatal error when trying to run a mov file.
I even tried going thru the registry with regedit to delete any referrence to apple, quicktime and itunes, but after 5 minutes of just deleting quicktime referrences with no end in sight, i gave up.

Uninstall Itunes and Quicktime from Add/Remove Programmes.Then go to Start/Search and enter quicktime.
this will search out all the files and folders, delete all you can then try to reinstall Itunes with Quicktime. It worked for me.

I can't uncheck "leave all attributes" in the precompose window

Hi guys, I can't uncheck "leave all attributes" box in the pre-compose window. even after I double check it, I check the other option, I've tried with Crtl+Click over the check box, and so on and nothing works cause the option remains checked.
Somebody knows what would be the reason, is it a Bug or a Program Feature?. I use After Effects CS3 8.0.0.298

Adolfo: I’ve did it and the precomposition “Leave all the attributes*” but never “Move all the attributes” what is exactly what I want to do now..
Mylenium: Now I’m back with the first problem: I can’t uncheck “Leave all attributes in*…” cause it appears already selected. BTW That was the last option that I had selected by the moment when this bug ran therefore I’m 100% sure that this is a bug problem. As you said, it’s impossible to leave both option selected, it doesn’t make any sense at all.
I made the same project with the same picture because all of the sudden "Leave all atributtes" just freezes out. As you can see the problem comes sometimes with “Leave” sometimes with “Move”, all depends on which was the last option that I had selected by that moment.
Now is "Leave" the one who doesn't want to leave (If I can allow me a wordplay cause I'm about to cry, )
Then when I want to just select "Move", "Leave" just still selected.
What would it be?
Now, since I’m pretty sure that this is a bug, I know that I can fool it by forcing the program to leave unavailable one option with a "whatever" move, therefore the other option will be the preselected option the next time so I would be able to do my selection right. I can unavailable " Leave" by just select 2 layers, but...

Check your settings. The iPads have a small switch on the right edge. It can be used as a rotation lock to keep the screen from automatically reorienting itself as you move around, but you need to have the tablet’s settings configured properly. That same switch, right above the volume buttons, can also be set to function instead as a mute button to silence certain types of audio.
If the switch is set to work as a mute button, you can change its purpose to “screen-rotation lock” by tapping the Settings icon on the home screen. On the Settings screen, tap General on the left side, and on the right side of the screen flick down to “Use Side Switch to.” Tap to select Lock Rotation or Mute to set the button’s function. Even if you set the side switch for your preferred use, you can still mute the Mini or lock the screen. Just double-click the Home button, and when the panel of apps appears along the bottom edge of the screen, flick the row from left to right with your finger. Tap the icon on the far left side of the row to either lock the iPad’s screen or mute the iPad’s alerts, notifications and sound effects. Music, podcasts and video are not muted unless you turn the volume all the way down.

Once I've checked a checkbox, I can't uncheck it

I have a leave request form that was built in LiveCycle. I've used a series of check boxes to allow the user to select the reason for the leave request: ie; annual leave, sick leave, fmla, etc. The problem is this: if a user checks one box, but then decides he should have selected another instead, he can't change the selection. What do I need to do to change this so that if you decide to choose a different option, you can do so and you can also uncheck the undesired option. I am using LiveCycle Designer ES 8.2.

I don't have any scripting, but I did notice that in the "binding" palette I had On value as 1, Off value as 0, and Neutral value as 2 for the "Annual Leave" check box, but none of the others. That's the one I was having problems with. I deleted the neutral value, leaving the others as is, and this seems to have resolved the issue.
