Cancel URLLoader request

Is there a way to cancel a URLLoader request?
My application makes multiple URLLoader load() calls to get
relevant information from various sources. However, while this is
going on the user can change the search criteria. I need to make
new URLLoader requests with the new search criteria. Currently, all
the requests go through even the ones that the user is not
interested in anymore (most are still pending completion). Is their
a way to cancel pending requests prior to making the new requests?

Cancelled meeting requests are not removed from ICAL.

I am currently receiveing new and updated meeting requests through "Mail" on my mac. The email body contains a .ics icon that either adds (new appointments) or updates (changes) in my MAC's Ical.
However when I receive a cancelled meeting request ... clicking on the same .ics icon take me to Ical, but doens't remove it from the calendar. Is this a known bug or somthing that I've got set up incorrectly?
Please advise if you have any information on this problem - Thanks

Cancelling Concurrent Request hangs

Hi Experts,
Recently we upgrade the OS to solaris 5.8 to 5.10
Concurrent request like Receipt Printing running more than 20 minutes and it completed with warning, the log file shows printer is not accepting. if we cancel these requests it hangs.
Then we will cancel this concurrent request from OS level. we are facing this issue after upgrading the OS to Solaris 5.10.
In Solaris 5.10 is there any new for printer configuration. Please help me to overcome this.

How to cancel online request

My IPad goes wrong. The home button does not work properly. I registered online sevices on the apple web but now I want to cancel the online request to go to on-site store. Please let me know how to cancel online request?

You can still just go to the store, they're not mutually exclusive. At least as far as I know, they're not.

HT4847 I am trying to uncheck the data and documents option for storing this information in iCloud, however, the only option I am given is to cancel the request or to remove them from my Mac (but not iCloud apparently). This is wrong! Any ideas?

Cancel a request from Servlet

I am wanting know if there is a way to cancel a request from a servlet. I have a servlet that is being activated from a web page that runs on Websphere that create a query against DB2. I am trying to add a Cancel button to stop the query and close the connections if the cancel button is hit. The reason I want to do this is because if the user doesn't enter specific enough criteria then the search may take a while. I want to give the user the ability to stop the search not just redisplay the form and execute another.

Are you saying have a randomly generated key as a hidden field that a search object would hold onto. If I cancelled the search, another servlet would take that key and communicate with the search object, telling it to stop.
But then how do I make it stop.
Currently I have a servlet for cancel that changes a boolean from false to true when executed. The search servlet is running through a loop that is going through a ResultSet to fill a vector with information to display. If the boolean is changed to true the loop is broken and all pieces are closed. This works on my localhost but not in our test environment. It doesn't execute the cancel servlet until after the search servlet has returned a response. We use the Strata five layer architechture not the MVC pattern.

ESS -> Service Specific Settings -> Working Time -> Leave Request -> Processing process-> specify processing process for types of leave
in that Process request using workflow
1)WF ID of New Request
2)WF ID of Cancellation Request
3)WF ID of Change Request
The value assigned
1)New Request: 12300111
2)Cancellation Request:01000109 <> 1000109(one more thing i found whenever i give entry 01000109 for cancel the value is saved as 1000109. )
New Request working fine using ws12300111.
change working fine using ws12300111.
Cancellation of leave which is not approved also working fine using ws12300111.

Sending Email Notification on Cancellation of Request

Hello Everybody,
Can someone please tell me , how to send a email notification to a user when he ,himself , or the system admin cancels that request ?
Say if a user raises a request to get provisioned to a resource.
If he or the system admin cancels that request, then
how to send a email notification to that user.
Any help/suggestion will be appreciated a lot.

In the provisioning process of that resource, Go to the provisioning task.
In that task window, Goto "Task to Object status mapping". There you should see one category as cancelled. Assign a status to that category. Now goto the notification tab and configure notification for that status.

Hold the power button down for 10 seconds. It will power down your Mac. You can then start it up again and see if you can log in normally.

You can access the Configuration tab under Workflow --> Administration on the sidebar. Search for the request and cancel as necessary

i am very new to workflow so any help would be appreciated. can some one please provide a detailed step by step guide on how to create a workflow for canceling leave requests (must go thru manager's approval first before the cancellation to be applied) via portal?

Hi,
If you go with the standard, you don't have to create any workflow, you can use the existing one. The approach is exactly the same as implementing a workflow for new leave request. Basically in the SPRO you need to go to the ESS area and find the Leave request related configuration there. You will find that you can define for each absence type a workflow which will start (and you can define them both for new request and cancellation requests). With proper configuration, everything will work without any WF development effort.
If you find out that the standard solution does not fulfill the requirements, return to this thread for more detailed questions.
