Cannot able to locate Syndicate operation in MDM Webservice generator tool
HI,
I am trying to generate MDM webservice through MDM Webservice generator tool. I am following the steps provided on the sap help.
While running the MDM WebService generator, I cannot able to locate "Syndicate operation" while I am on Configure table step. Rest other operations like CRUD,Matching,checkout etc are present.
On the below link it was cleary mentioned that we can perform syndicate operation too.

Can you validate these things :
The operation fails if:
One of the input parameters, port, remoteSystem, or recordIdentification is missing.
The remoteSystem parameter is invalid because MDM has no remote system with specified code or name.
● The syndication port is invalid for any of the following reasons:
Port Code was not defined in the MDM Console
Port Type is not specified as Outbound
Processing Type of port is not specified as Manual
There is no map assigned to the specified port
The port is not paired with a specified remote system
The recordIdentification parameter is invalid because a valid MDM record cannot be found by one of the record Id criteria.
RepositoryInformation is invalid
If the Web service operation timeout has expired before the MDM syndication process (running on the MDS and MDSS) was completed.

Problem in MDM WS Generator...

I just found a new problem with the MDM WS Generator. When I make changes to the MDM repository, they do not appear in the MDM WebService generator (E.g. Adding a new field); in the past this was working just fineu2026 not sure what happened
Can anyone tell me what might be the cause or do we need to check any Sap Note

Please check SAP Note no 1385073 (MDM SP04 Release Note). It clearly says
"If you perform any changes to your repository schema, you will need to restart the WAS in order for the Web Services Generator to work with the modified repository."
So, Solution to your problem is to restart WEB AS.

If I'm receiving a message "all devices are online, but cannot be located" what can I do to be able to locate the devices on a map?
My understanding is that a device must have access to either WiFi, a cellular network, or (best) GPS in order to establish a location. Of course iPhones can access all three and iPads also if they incorporate cellular. However, Mac computers don't have GPS or cellular.
So if a Mac is connected to Internet via Ethernet to a LAN and not WIFi it will not be able to establish a location. Anyway, that's my experience. -
From the day one the response is that (cannot able to determine the location) while using ios5.1 .What can i need to do to see my location in maps and other application even the location services is enabled in the settings?.Which means that is there is any problem in my ipad ? currently running on IOS 6.
Your location is determined from a location database which contains the MAC addresses of routers and their physical location. A MAC address is a unique number which is built-in to all network devices when manufactured. The database is built and updated by actually driving around and mapping router locations.
Since you just moved the location of your router has not been updated in the database and when you use Maps you will see your old location.
If you go outside your house you can be correctly located because your iPod sees other routers which are in the location database. Note that you do not need to be connected to a router for your iPod to see it and obtain its MAC address. -
How to fix error in windows 7 professional "Setup cannot create or locate exiting partitions"?
I have a netbook of
Dell inspirion mini 10
1 GB of Ram
Intel Atom Processor
Hard disk of 140 GB with no partitions
So when i formatted my harddisk having windows xp on it and stated to install win 7 from my usb it started to show an error
"Setup cannot create or find any exiting partitions"
when it came to select partitions or harddisk. I have searched all the net but still didnt find the solution.Install Partition Wizard on a USB thumb drive and see if its able to locate the hard disk.

While deploying sharepoint hosted app i am getting error "Error occurred in deployment step 'Install app for SharePoint': We're sorry, we weren't able to complete the operation, please try again in a few minutes. If you see this message repeatedly, contact
your administrator.". From the developer site i remove the app manually and after deploying i am getting the same error again.

For error 1, follow these instructions:

For error 2 & 3, follow these instructions:

Hi All,
just about ready to destroy my laptop trying to fix this issue.
itunes cannot find any of my files.
i have unchecked "keep itunes media folder organised"
i have unchecked "copy files to itunes media file when adding to library"
and i have tried many different "fixes" found around the internet.
below is what i am experiencing.
when i click on a song with exclamation mark i am easily able to locate it and get it to play.
however itunes never gives me the option to located other files?
this option did pop up once but has since vanished. further to this, when it did search it was unable to find any further songs.
i dont want to try fix this one by one as i have over 10108 songs missing, i also don't want to lose any of my playlists as i have put an incredible amount of effort into them.
short of deleting everything in itunes and reimporting, is there anything else i can try?
i am currently downloading itunes again in the hope that this helps solve the issue. but i have my doubts.

any help??The exclamation mark for missing files is shown if the file is no longer where iTunes expects to find it. Possible causes are that you or some third party tool has moved, renamed or deleted the file, or that the drive it lives on has had a label change. It is also possible that iTunes has changed from expecting the files to be in the pre-iTunes 9 layout to post-iTunes 9 layout, or vice-versa, and so is looking in slightly the wrong place.
Select a track with an exclamation mark, use CMD-I to get info, then say no when asked to locate the track. Look on the summary tab for the location that iTunes thinks the file should be. Now take a look around your hard drive(s). Hopefully you can locate the track in question. If a section of your library has simply been moved, or a drive label has changed, it should be possible to reverse the actions. I can provide a step by step guide if you give me the two paths.
In some cases iTunes may be able to repair itself if you go through the same steps and locate the lost track. It may then offer to attempt to automatically fix other broken links, which should work if they are in the expected layout.

Now I have another question. I received some photos through in text messages. I wanted to transfer them to my PC. After struggling for a while, I was able to email them. However, I could not find a way to transfer them to my memory card. I read the instruction manual that said to go to recent on any screen. I could find no recent. I couldn't find any link when I brought the photos up to save them to my card. I do find this smart phone a real challenge from compared to what I referred to as my "Dumb Phone" I see where there are classes for the use of these phones but they are too far from where I live. Every time I ask Siri to find something near me, she says that she cannot find my location because I need to turn on location services in the settings menu and in siri. These are both on, and after rebooting my phone it still doesn't work correctly. How do I fix this?
No, the app does not have to completely restart. It gets shifted in its open state into storage. Similar to how a computer uses the hard disk when it has insufficient memory.
What complicates things is that sometimes memory does not get returned for reuse when you close an app. Thus yo should periodically double click the Home button and "delete" unnecessary apps from the multitasking dock and power off and then back on the iPod. -
Cannot able to view new activities in CONS
Hi,
We successfully deployed new DC into our portal system. Then our dev team did some changes and then created new activity and released in NWDS.
New changes went through default development runtime system.
But I cannot able to view new activities under CONS system, it was showing empty queue. Can any one please help me to fix this issue?

If you are sure the activity was successfully released from NWDS, try to check in the import history of cons. May be the released activity got imported already.

I like the new iOS 7 for iphone... But i think it's not a good idea to allow switch the iphone on flight mode when it is locked.. What happens if your iphone is stolen or lost? You couldn't be able to locate it using find my iphone... Can i remove this from the bottom menu?
And have your phone set to require a passcode before it can be accessed.
