Help!
Thanks,

Hi  Florin
Did you try accessing EAC by using below link
https://<Exchange_2013_CAS_FQDN>/ecp?ExchClientVer=15
Please access EAC via Internal URL: https://<CASServerName>/ecp
Finally ensure that you have logged in as administrator as well as this might be problem as well

  • CANNOT ACCES EXCHANGE ADMIN CENTER (ECP) ON EXCHANGE SERVER 2013. GOT HTTP 500 INTERNAL SERVER ERROR

HI, I just installed Exchange server 2013 Standar SP1 on a windows server 2012.  I have 3 servers one is a Domain Controller, the other one has the MBX role, and the last one the CAS role,  first i installed the MBX and after the CAS role, i passed
prerequisite check without any issue.  However when I tried access Exchange Admin Centre (ECP) at https:\\servername\ecp
I got HTTP 500 Internal Server Error saying  "This website cannot display the page.  Most likely causes: 1. The website is under maintenance. 2. The website has a programming error."   I tried access ECP at https://localhost/ecp and
I got the same problem.  Under either cases I was able to see the logon page of  ECP and I was able to enter my credential (e.g. domain\user name, password).  However I got HTTP 500 Internal Server Error at the next page.
I appreciate your help, on my case.

    Hi,
The link that Jatin points to should be this.

Please view the Application Pool to check whether the version of .NET Framework is 4.0 and try the following command.
    %windir%\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\aspnet_regiis.exe –i.
If this does not help then please check if there is any warnings or errors in Event Log and take your time to post them for my further troubleshooting.
    Thanks.

  • Decommission Exchange Server 2013 after migration to Office365

We had an on-premises Exchange Server 2013 failure with multiple hard disk failures.
Since we already had an Office365 E3 plan, we decided to bite the bullet and move to Exchange Online.  Since we did not have ADFS or Dirsync yet and time was against us to get email flowing as quickly as possible, we imported all the users into Office365,
    i.e. disconnected from our AD.
We then setup all their Outlook 2013 profiles with Office365 and imported their mailboxes from PSTs, so they are all up and running on Office365 now (still disconnected from our AD).
I would like to decommission our on-premises Exchange 2013, since our current setup is not very common, i.e. Office365 mailboxes which are not linked to our AD.
I would like some pointers and guidance how to go about this.
    Thanks
    Chris

    Hi
As per your description i can see that your on-premise exchange servers are running with no users, no services integrated with Office 365 users and no adfs dirsync
So in this scenario you can do a normal uninstallation of Exchange 2013 servers
Before uninstalling a Exchange 2013 Server,
Make sure all the console related to Exchange server are closed
Mailbox databases on that server has to be removed
Uninstall Exchange server from control panel

    Hi,
    Agree with ED.
The key message is “Could not connect to net.tcp://exchange.domain.com:3803/Management/InteractionEngine.
The connection attempt lasted for a time span of 00:00:02.0470060. TCP error code 10061: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 192.168.0.0:3803”
You need to check why it’s block. Any firewall or the port is listened by other processes.

    Hi,
Is there any update with your issue?
If the CAS and Mailbox servers are collocated on the same server, the SMTP Receive connection for the Transport service will listen on 2525 instead of 25. If you install the CAS and Mailbox on the same server, please make sure that port 2525 is open.

  • Exchange Server 2013 In Windows Server 2012 - unable to logon EXchange Administrator Center (EAC)

    Hi All,
I Just installed Exchange Server 2013 in Windows Server 2012 and trying to connect Dynamics CRM 2013 (DNS).
The Installations Success full but unable to load the EAC page by using the following URL
    https://servername:port/owa/auth/logon.aspx
I have cross checked in Exchange/owa/auth folder don't have the "logon.aspx" file
But the auth folder have the "logoff.aspx"
I installed many time freshly in separate WS-2012 but it not contains that logon.aspx
I want access the Exchange Administrator Center
Please Help me to solve it
    IIS Exchange (Missing of logon.aspx)
    SRKD0808

    Hi All,
    I sorted out this problem
Actually we have to run these 2 commands in Domain Control, But what i did  I just run this
    1) setup /PrepareSchema /IAcceptExchangeServerLicenseTerms
Command in Domain Control we don't need to run the 2nd command, Because I already try to installed exchange 2013 very first time it success and after some modifications
    it gone.
That time it will ask you to provide Organization name, Once you give that it will create the Organization name in Domain control and it will save the settings when
    you install first time
Because of this reason It is failing to run these 2 command

  • Exchange Server 2013 Database not showing in ECP after removal of Exchange Server 2010

I recently complete the migration of my Exchange 2010 server to Exchange 2013. I then proceeded to uninstall the 2010 server using setup.com /m:uninstall. At the end of the process I received an error that it did not complete the uninstall.
I checked the server and Exchanged 2010 was removed. When I checked ECP on 2013 it still showed the old 2010 server listed. I used ADSI edit and manually removed the old sever.
Now when I log into 2013 ECP I only see the one serve but when I go into databases, none are listed. I check under the server itself and it shows the database that it is using but it is not listed under the database tab.
If I do a search under the database tab I can find it and adds it to the list. I can then open and view details.
My issue is, after I log out and then back in, I have to run the search to find the database again. In ideas on how to have it show up in the list like it did  before I removed the 2010 Exchange server?
    Thank you,

    Hi,
From your description, I recommend you verify the following things for troubleshooting:
    1. Please make sure that AD replication is completely by checking the user object's homeMDB attribute. This value should contain the DN value of the Exchange Server 2013 mailbox database.
    2. Wait 30 minutes for the cache on the Exchange Server 2013 Client Access Server to clear or restart the MSExchangeOWAAppPool on the Exchange Server 2013 Client Access Server.
For more information, here is a kb for your reference.

After installed Exchange server 2013, tried to open "Exchange Administrative Center" there is an error message that is attached with this post and cannot go to the admin panel. so tried to find a solution googling a day, but still didn't find a solution..

Hi allAfter a rather heated conversation with our MSP I come to you for guidance. We've recently acquired another business and need to add two new sites plus a cloud hosted server to our network. The current layout is as follows (forgive my terrible diagram):Top is our business, bottom is the one we've purchase, red indicates how the VPNs are structured. We have extensive on-premise infrastructure at the Main Office (top left) so we are planning to retire the cloud hosting once our systems have been merged but in the meantime we need to be able to access their system and vice versa so I am hoping for the following:In summaryNew link from the cloud hosting to the Main OfficeNew link from the alt-main office to Main officeNew link from the new "other site" to Main OfficeNow, our VPNs are controlled by our MSP, after a two week delay...

  • Exchange Server 2013 and Remote Access VPN on a single server running Windows Server 2012?

Just by way of background, I have been installing and administering network servers, e-mail systems, VPN servers, and the like for many years.  However, my involvement with Exchange and Windows Server has been mostly on the forensics and data recovery
level, or as a (sophisticated) user.  I have never tried to deploy either from scratch before.  My deployment experiences have been mostly with Linux in recent years, and with small private or personal "servers" running such cutting edge
software as Windows XP back when it was new.  And even NetWare once.
When a client asked me if I could set up a server for his business, running Exchange Server (since they really want Outlook with all of its bells and whistles to work, particularly calendars) and providing VPN access for a shared file store, I figured it
could not be too difficult given that its a small business, with only a few users, and nothing sophisticated in the way of requirements.  For reasons that don't bear explaining here, he was not willing to use a vendor hosting Exchange services or cloud
storage.  There is no internal network behind the server; it is intended to be a stand-alone server, hanging off a static IP address on the Internet, providing the entirely mobile work-force of about 10 people with Exchange-hosted e-mail for their computers
and phones, a secure file store, and not much else.  If Exchange didn't need it, I would not need to install Active Directory, for example.  We have no direct need for its services.
So I did the research and it appears, more by implication than outright assertion, that I should be able to run Windows Server 2012 with Exchange Server 2013 on a server that also hosts Remote Access (VPN only) and does nothing else.  And it appears
I ought to be able to do it without virtualizing any of it.  However, I have spent the last three or four days fighting one mysterious issue after another.  I had Remote Access VPN working and fairly stable very quickly (although it takes a very
long time to become available after the server boots), and it has mostly remained reliable throughout although at times while installing Exchange it seems to have dropped out on me.  But I've always been able to get it back after scrounging through the
logs to find out what is bothering it.  I have occasionally, for a few minutes at a time, had Exchange Server willing to do everything it should do (although not always everything at the same time).  At one point I even received a number of e-mails
on my BlackBerry that had been sent to my test account on the Exchange Server, and was able to send an e-mail from my BlackBerry to an outside account.
But then Exchange Server just stopped.  There are messages stuck in the queues, among other issues, but the Exchange Administration Center refuses now to display anything (after I enter my Administrator password, I just get a blank screen, whether on
    the server or remotely).
So, I am trying to avoid bothering all of you any more than I have to, but let me just begin with the basic question posed in the title: Can I run Exchange Server (and therefore Active Directory and all of its components) and Remote Access (VPN only) on
a single Windows Server 2012 server?  And if so, do I have to run virtual machines (which will require adding more memory to the server, since I did not plan for it when I purchased it)?  If it can be done, can anyone provide any pointers on what
the pitfalls are that may be causing my problems?  I am happy to provide whatever additional information anyone might like to help figure it out.
    Thanks!

An old thread but I ran into this issue and thought I share my solution since I ran into the same issue. Configuring VPN removes the HTTPS 443 binding on the Default Site in IIS for some strange reason; just go and editing the bindings, add HTTPS and things
    should be back to normal.

  • Exchange Server 2013 POP3 Service on CAS cannot after Upgrade to SP1

Exchange Server 2013 POP3 Service on CAS cannot after Upgrade to SP1
When I manual start MSExchangepop3 Service on CAS It show "The Microsoft Exchange POP3 Service on Local Computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or programs."
    In event log show POP3 EventID 1018 , 1019 , 1036
It said like this blinding already use (0.0.0.0)
The point is "IF I SET BINDING FOR 995 , MSEXCHANGE POP3 Service will automatic stop"
Does anyone face this issue please?
    Thank you

You could check what (if anything) else is running on that port.
From a command prompt, type netstat -ano | find 995
This will give you the Process Identifier (PID) for the process that is running on port 995. Then you can open Task Manager, add PID as an additional column, and find out what that process is.
    Hope that helps.

  • Cannot install Exchange server 2013

    hey,
I'm trying to install exchange server 2013 on windows server 2012 and I getting this error :
One or more servers in the existing organization are running Exchange 2000 Server or Exchange Server 2003. Installation can't proceed until all Exchange 2000 or Exchange 2003 servers are removed.
    Warning:
Cannot find the Recipient Update Service responsible for domain 'DC=Nesstr,DC=com'. New and existing users may not be properly Exchange-enabled.
Now, I think before I got here there was exchange server 2003 in virtual machine but I cant find the vm, probably someone has deleted the vm without uninstall the exchange properly and maybe this is the problem.
anyone suggestion what to do next ?
    best Regards,
    Idan keshet

    Hi Idan,
We need to do these steps to connect to Configuration:
    1. Open ADSI Edit.
    2. Right-click ADSI Edit, select Connect to… .
    3. In Connection Point, Select a well known Naming Context > Configuration.
    4. Click OK.

  • Backing up Exchange Server 2013 CU3 with Windows Server Backup Program

Looking at configuring Windows Server Backup Program to backup Exchange Server 2013 CU3 which is a member a DAG Group using a specific Backup Domain Account.
From my understanding from the following technet Article" Using Windows Server Backup to Backup and Restore Exchange Data" at  http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd876851(v=exchg.150).aspx I cannot use wbadmin.exe has it uses an older
    unsupported version of Powershell.
My question is what are the minimum AD rights required for an AD account needed to be able to backup/restore Exchange Datastore using Windows Server Backup Program in Windows Server 2012?
    Thanks,
    NIck

    Hi Sathish,
After looking at your response, it all make sense except when I look at what exchange right assigned via RBAC.  I understand that the backup service account will require access to the exchange databases
to be able to backing and restoring them.  After looking at the different roles
I'm wondering if I require to assign both the Databases roles for Backing up the databases and the Disaster Recovery Role as well to be able to restore the databases has well as having a mailbox on the exchange
server for the backup service account?
Below is explanation of the roles via the ECP
    Database Role
This role enables administrators to create, manage, mount and dismount mailbox and public folder databases on individual servers.
    Disaster Recovery
This role enables administrators to restore mailboxes and database availability groups in an organization.
    Thanks,
    Nick

  • I can´t access EAC by CAS name server

    Hi people,
I´ve just installed my new Exchange 2013 SP1 environment in a new domain.
I´ve installed two Mailbox server and two Client Access servers, I´ve started the installation with two mailbox serves and to continue I´ve installed the Client Access servers. When I finished the installation in each server I restarted it.
Now, my problema is the Access to Exchange Administration Center.
    I´m trying with https://servercas1.domain.local/ecp or
    https://servercas2.domain.local/ecp
In both cases, Internet explorer sais "this page can´t be displayed"
I´ve checked the Ecpvirtualdirectory in PowerShell, and internal url is correct:
https://servercas1.domain.local/ecp in the first CAS and
    https://servercas2.domain.local/ecp in the second CAS.
I´ve tried Access by IP, but with the same result...
Finally, I´ve tried the Access with https://localhost/ecp and it Works!
But... I want to Access by name, no by localhost....
Someone knows why I can´t Access by name??
I understand the Access to EAC is only possible through the CAS, because in the Mailbox doesnt work it, right?
    Thanks and Best regards.

    Hi Allen,
First of all, thanks for your reply.
In my first message I wrote about my Environment, this is:
    - 2 Servers DCs (2012 R2 with 2012R domain/forest level)
    - 2 Servers Mailboxes Exchange Server 2013 SP1 (Windows Server 2012 R2)
    - 2 Servers Client Access Exchange Server 2013 SP1 (Windows Server 2012 R2)
    My stepts to installation were:
1.- Install new DC and create new domain. After this install second DC in the same domain.
2.- Install OS in 4 servers for Exchange with Windows Server 2012 R2. Join these servers in domain.
3.- Install Prerequisites in 4 Exchange Servers:
    Install-WindowsFeature AS-HTTP-Activation, Desktop-Experience, NET-Framework-45-Features, RPC-over-HTTP-proxy, RSAT-Clustering, RSAT-Clustering-CmdInterface, RSAT-Clustering-Mgmt,
    RSAT-Clustering-PowerShell, Web-Mgmt-Console, WAS-Process-Model, Web-Asp-Net45, Web-Basic-Auth, Web-Client-Auth, Web-Digest-Auth, Web-Dir-Browsing, Web-Dyn-Compression, Web-Http-Errors, Web-Http-Logging, Web-Http-Redirect, Web-Http-Tracing, Web-ISAPI-Ext,

4.- Install Microsoft Unified Communications Managed API 4.0 in 4 Exchange Servers.
5.- Install Microsoft Office 2010 Filter Pack x64 and SP1 only in 2 Mailbox Servers
    6.- Extend Active Directory Schema:
    Setup.exe /PrepareSchema /IAcceptExchangeServerLicenseTerms
    7.- Prepare Active Directory:
    Setup.exe /PrepareAD /OrganizationName:"Exchange Organization" /IAcceptExchangeServerLicenseTerms
    8.- Prepare Domain:
    setup /PrepareAD /IAcceptExchangeServerLicenseTerms
9.- Install Exchange Server 2013 SP1 in 2 Mailbox Servers
10.- Install Exchange Server 2013 SP1 in 2 Client Access Servers
11.- Reboot all Exchange Servers when finished the installation
After this, when I tried to access to Exchange Admin Center with https://servercas1.domain.local/ecp or https://servercas2.domain.local/ecp
It fails with "this page can´t be displayed"
    Only worked with https://localhost/ecp
In this moment is when I decided to write in the forum to share my problem. And I follow your recommendations...
But in this moment I can´t access Exchange Admin Center, about a problem with authentication...
