Cannot buy ringtone..

I select a portion of the music track for my ringtone on itunes and after preview, when I click the " Buy" button, nothing happens. A ringtone is not created. I'm new to iphone and have the latest version of itunes 7.7
Please help.

I found this thread while having the same problem. My solution was to log out (in iTunes) and log back in. For me, at least, there were new terms and conditions to accept that may have prevented me from buying anything.

Wow, Karan Taneja, you've just embarrassed yourself on a worldwide support forum. Not only is your post ridiculous and completely inappropriate for a technical support forum, but it also shows your ignorance as to whom you think the audience is. Apple is not here. It's users, like you.
If you would have spent half the time actually reading the Terms of Use of this forum that YOU agreed to by signing up to post, as you did composing that usesless, inappropriate post, you (and the rest of us on this forum) would have been much better off.

If I change the nation setting of my iTunes in order to buy a song from the American iTunes store, then change my setting back to the Korean store (where you cannot buy music) will that create any problems with my downloaded content?

I want to buy an album that I cannot get hold of in Korea, but it is available in the US iTunes store. However since most of my apps are downloaded from the Korean store I'll need to switch back in order to update them. Does anyone know if there are any issues in doing this. I'd rather find out before I spend money, change my store setting back to Korea, and then get told I can't listen to the music because I bought it from the US store and my iTunes is set to the Korean store.

You canot easily change your country settings. The iTunes Store in a country is intended only for use by that country's residents, and only while they are in the country. To use the iTunes Store in a country you need a credit card (or other card type if acceptable in a country) issued in that country, billed to an address in that country, and also be physically present in that country when using the store. You are also restricted to waiting 90 days between country changes.
E.g., "The iTunes Service is available to you only in the United States, its territories, and possessions. You agree not to use or attempt to use the iTunes Service from outside these locations. Reason I had to chat with Customer Support is that I got the following message upon placing Upgrade Order.

You cannot use other countries itunes stores.
You must be within the Country with a Valid Billing Address and Credit Card for that Country to use the iTunes Store of that Country...

Just make sure you've put in the right email address and password. If you have, then contact Apple. I'm sure they'll help you straight away.

Are you in the US with a US based account and a US billing address ? If you aren't then you can't buy from the US store - you can only buy content from your own country's store. If you are in the US then do you get any messages when you try to purchase from the store ?

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include clicking here and picking a method for your country, phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, and filling out and submitting this form.

You got ripped off. You bought a hacked/jailbroken phone. That's what error 1015 means. Return it and get your money back if possible and buy a phone from a legitimate source.
Discussing jailbroken / hacked phones is forbidden by the terms of service. Jailbreaking / hacking voids any warranty and forfeits your right to support here or from Apple. You can not get help here.
