Cannot create collection or query assets...

I'm trying to create Collection and Query assets but having no luck. I've gone in as site admin and enabled both assets...giving them "New" and "Find" in the start menu...but nothing. Is this a bug or is there another step required? Thanks! (This works fine with other assets)

As a small update...I can create a collection and query in the Contributor interface...but the documentation states being in the Admin interface. Perhaps this is just outdated documentation? The form for creating a new collection looks different in the documentation than the actual form I'm seeing. If anyone can confirm this I'd appreciate it!

Must confess to not actually using collections yet (don't burn me for that!)
What I would be tempted to do it to replace your two lines of defining x with
x:= 'select mecnum from C_MECS where MECNUM = &P13_X.';
And then possibly setting this into another page item and verifying the query is syntatically correct
:P13_TEMP_ITEM_SQL_QUERY := x;

Cannot create collective PO for pull scenario

Hello,
We want to realize the basic distribution scenario (R43 in Retail Best Practice) which involves creating initial STOs from DC to stores and further creating collective PO. It looks like all basic setup has been done. Nevertheless the WF10 returns "No documents selected" error. Can anybody help please ?

Check the following :
1. Supply source of the store must be "2" ( Internal).
2. Supplying site must be assigned at the site master level, either at the site level or site/merchandise category level.
3. Distribution profile in the respective DC ( based on point 2) must be Flowthrough ( Check config for the profile).

Per Joel Re: Collection with bind variable the apex_collection.create_collection_from_query_b supports queries containing bind variable references (:P1_X) but I am not sure how to use this feature, the documentation doesn't have an example, just the API signature for the overloaded version has changed.
If the query contains 2 bind variable references to session state (:P1_X and :P1_Y), can someone please show an example of what to pass in for the p_names and p_values parameters to the API?

If I've an entity named "Person" with a collection of Addresses (a one-to-manay relationahip), how do I create a Select query to get a person by using a collection of Addresses as its input parameter?

I guess you are trying to apply this condition.

I use OpenSSO Enterprise 8.0 Update 1 Patch1 Build 6.1(2009-June-9 12:56)
I try to evaluate the Apache 2.2 web agent.
It's been installed without errors, and both the OpenSSO and Apache server restarted.
The agent profile's been created. Also, I use the default (OpenDS) configuration repository
for OpenSSO, but an external (DSEE) user data directory.
I think I did all the required steps with regards to both directories, since I don't see any error
in the LDAP logs, each entry seems to be found as expected, the BIND operations are all
successfull.
Also, I use a sub-realm rather than the default top realm, and thus, I've modified the agent configuration
(in the agent profile) so that the login URL is now ... /UI/Login?realm=myrealm
When I try to access the Apache homepage, I get an error 500. The most recent OpenSSO server log file
(...../opensso/debug/Authentication) contains the following message:
ERROR: Cannot create authcontext with null org
The most recent agent log file (....../apache22_agent/Agent_001/logs/debug/amAgent) has the following error:

So I created LOV "full_name" and Record group Query under Employee Name property palette with

Magoo, you don't ever need to use Select from Dual. And the loop is completely unnecessary, since Dual always returns only one record. This would be much simpler:

Make sure the user connected to the database from the forms builder has the privilege of select from the table, or there's a synonym.
Try your query from SQL*Plus connected with the same user.

I also tried to make "productList" an ArrayList type, but it game me this same error.
We are using Websphere 4.0 with Struts 1.1.

Hi , I have similar problem. wonder anyone can help me. I have a datastructure. ArrayList contains list of Hashtable; each Hashtable has two key-value sets ; for each key-value set , value is a ValueObject.

in struts class i am return arraylist ,
same list i am displaing in jsp.
if Arraylist have data ,i am not getting error.
but if arraylist empty ,i am getting ServletException: Cannot create iterator for this collection

You could use <bean:size> to get the size of the list
and conditionally execute the logic:iterate,
something like this :
That will work, but not necessary. If the collection is empty, the iterate tag just skips - it doesnt throw an exception (tested)
The problem I guess is that the bean with the specified name is not a Collection. It may be a property of the bean that is a collection in which case the tag should have a property attribute.

...when I attempt to add more than 50 lists in the Reminders app. I had a similar issue in Mavericks. Is this "50" number available to modify in a config file somewhere?
My plan is to manage GTD-type projects in my Reminders apps (on iOS and OS X), but this limit is keeping me from creating a list for EVERY project I have.

Woohoo! I set the integer to "500" and I now have over 200 lists added, and syncing, to my Reminders app and related tools.
Here's exactly what I did after reading the response from Linc Davis:
Stop the Calendar service
Create /Library/Server/Calendar and Contacts/Config/caldav-user.plist
Edit contents of "caldav-user.plist", setting your desired integer value:

Note that a file created in a place other than ~/ may have permissioning issues. To get around this, I made a copy of /Library/Server/Calendar and Contacts/caldavd-system.plist, then renamed and edited that file with nano in terminal.

the query given by matthew is WQL but not SQL.you cannot run the WQL query in SQL which do not support.
The error what you get is expected .some of the wmi entries that exist in sms provider may not appear in sccm query design.
Do not click on show query design as sms_statusmessage attributes cannot be retrived .After you
created the WQL Query ,just paste in query box and click Ok (Ignore the error message box).
wait for sometime and see if that display any computers.

How to create an ABAP Query with OR logical expression in the select-where

In trying to create an ABAP query with parameters. So it will select data where fields are equal to the parameters entered. The default logical expression is SELECT.. WHERE... AND.. However I want to have an OR logical expression instead of AND.. how can I attain this??

You cannot just replace AND with OR in an ABAP QUERY. ABAP QUERY is a self generated SAP code. You'll just declare the tables, input parameters and output fields to be displayed and it will create a SAP standard code. If you'll try to change the code and replace the AND with OR in the SAP standard code, the system will require you to enter access key/object key for that particular query.

I have already tried to insert a code in the ABAP query (there's a part there wherein you can have extra code) but that didn't work. Can anybody help me on this.

Cannot create mysites from powershell: Original XSLT List View Web Part not found

I have a bizarre problem in my SharePoint 2013 farm. This does not occur in my test farm, only in the farm we were going to go live with.
I'm on windows Server 2012, SQLServer 2012 SP1, SharePoint 2013 April CU. 1 appserver/centraladmin server, 2 web servers.
When I log into our mysitehost and click newsfeed, it will create a mysite (even though first it displays "we are sorry there was a problem creating your site")

This is a brand new farm, created with the same scripts I created my test farm with, and same version of SharePoint. Only the service accounts are different. (Farm account has admin on the servers right now since I was setting up profile service).
Some other errors from the same correlation ID that look related:
It can't seem to find the listemplate 101
And something looks wrong with the MySiteDocumentLibrary feature
I have tried the following:
1. run psconfig.exe on each server
2. install-spfeature -AllExistingFeatures
3. looped through the directory under Features and for each called Install-SPFeature $dirname -Force
4. uninstalled and reinstalled MySiteDocumentLibrary feature
5. blew away the whole farm (removed all servers from farm, deleted all databases) and recreated it.
6. tried creating the UPA from the CentralAdmin gui.
The only real difference I can think of between the working farm and non working farm is, I installed the working farm using RTM, then as they came out added the March PU and April CU. For this farm I installed RTM and March and April, and then ran my build
farm script.
I am at a loss. What do I need to do, re-install the binaries? That's all I can think of. What I love is that our test / POC system worked fine, and now 2 weeks before go-live I'm seeing errors on the production servers I've never seen before. Using the
same scripts no less.

I've had other problems in this farm: the bug where when you add Administrators to a Search Service via the Manage Service Applications page, it removes the SPSearchDBAdmin role from the search service process account. That one did not happen in the other farm.
At least other people have that one and I could just use the farm admin instead (still troublng of course).

Here is the problem:
When creating a mysite from powershell or script, apparently you can ONLY do this from a wfe (or a server running Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Web Application in services on server).
You CANNOT create mysites from script on your appserver if it is not also a Web Application Server. I confirmed the same is true in my test farm. I guess I was always running most of these scripts on the webserver.
I searched all over and cannot find this documented anywhere.
Who do I contact to have Microsoft document this?
