Cannot determine cause of Transaction Error in WLS 5.1 sp10

Upgrading to sp10 for WebLogic, an ejbCreate() via CMP throws an
          javax.transaction.TransactionRolledbackException if an error occurs
          without any stack trace or details!!! Why or when does this happen?
          Is this specific to sp10? Current environment is Sun Solaris 7, Oracle
          8.1.6, thin driver

WLS 6.0 is the first WebLogic Server version which supports XA/2PC. If you need to enlist
          multiple resources in a single transaction, you will need WLS 6.x. (I would recommend
          6.1)
          You should get your JDBC connections from TxDataSources.

another situation when this could happen:
In my main jspx I have an af:panelTabbed with an af:region in each of the af:showDetailItems. The regions refer to bounded task flows consisting of only one view (a page fragment) using bindings. The jspx is below, with two additional showDetailItems for testing (sdi3, sdi4).

(E.g. the error shows when navigating from sdi1 or sdi2 to any other tab, but does not show when navigating from sdi3 or sdi4 to any other tab.)

Cannot determine comparator for Sortfield

I have a DataGrid that gets its data from an HttpService. If
the first row of the data from the http request has a null value
for a given field, I get the "Cannot determine comparator for
Sortfield" error.
I think the simplest workaround would be to specify the data
type for each DataGridColumn. I see that the DataGridColumn objects
can have a sortCompareFunction. I don't want to write my own custom
comparators. I assume that the built-in comparators will do just
fine.
Suppose my MXML code looks something like this...

One trick that I've used in the past (which wont really give
you type specific ability) is to check the returned data prior to
assigning it as a dataProvider. In my case the data is xml based
son I don't get nodes, but possible missing elements all together.
I check for their existance for each row (in your case test for
null) then assign a default value (-1 for int, 6/6/2006 for date
etc...). After populating the 'voids' in my data I assign it as the
dataProvider in ActionScript.
To get more type specifc, you may want to look into using a
data model and check out the validator classes.

Transaction cannot be posted due to errors in price determination - MIGO

I have made PO with reference to the contract. While posting the MIGO error message displays as "Transaction cannot be posted due to errors in price determination. But with same combination ( Materials and Vendor which were used in Po from Contarct) was used to prepare a PO with out any reference, subsequent MIGO transaction was saved without any error msg. This problem is happening the MIGO through PO reference of Contract or MIGO for schedule line agreement. So your help pls.

2.Also,when you have note 1043857 implemented and then try to do a price comparison (ME49)among the RFQ,you see the message 06 616 'selected quotations not directly comparable'.This is again caused by the code from the Note 1043857

I am facing error message "Transaction cannot be posted due to errors in price determination" for "X-field conversion" while posting GR document against Scheduling agreement.
I have checked the Validity periods of conditions maintained in Scheduling agreement and it was within validity.
In Material master - Price Control - V (Moving average price/periodic unit price)
Standard price              0.00
Per. unit price             1.58
Price unit             1
Please help me to resolve this issue.

your material master displaying Zero price .maintain the price in material master.and also check why material has Zero price.
what is the price in material moving average field

I am facing below error when i try to post GR for a SA. I checked out all the configurations, these worked on GR for PO but not on SA.
I have seen other posts which recommend to view OSS note 447374 and 446831. I am not sure where to find these and how to use these notes.

Java 7 update 51 cause the following error: java.util.HashMap cannot be cast to java.awt.RenderingHints

Since I installed Java 7 update 51 accessing the EMC VNX Unisphere Console cause the following error: java.util.HashMap cannot be cast to java.awt.RenderingHints.
I rolled back to Apple Java 1.6 -005 now I am getting the following error: plug-in failure.
I think this is cused by the fact that the EMC console application has been written for java 7 and not java 6. Has anybody faced and solved the "java.util.HashMap cannot be cast to java.awt.RenderingHints." error ?

The error is thrown from the eclipselink.jar:2.5.1 which is a JPA provider .
Is the above jar bundled in the Oracle Product you are working upon or was this downloaded from external site ?
If the jar is bundled with the Oracle Product, go ahead a log a SR with Oracle Support with Toplink product group to drill down on the issue, as the issue is happening internally or thrown by the Eclipselink implementation and we've no control....

Error while installing CE 7.1 - Cannot determine parameter SAPGLOBALHOST

I am currently installing preview version on CE 7.1 and got the following error.
"Cannot determine parameter SAPGLOBALHOST from default profile C:\usr\sap\CE1\SYS\profile\DEFAULT.PFL. SOLUTION: Add the parameter to the default profile."

Hi, trying to install NETWEAVER ABAP TRIAL 7.01 SR1 and I had the same error message: "Cannot determine parameter SAPGLOBALHOST from default profile C:\usr\sap\NSP\SYS\profile\DEFAULT.PFL. SOLUTION: Add the parameter to the default profile.". I've checked how to fix this, but I'm still not sure how to change profile parameters. Ithink it's been installed locally (if i install this way the ms loopback adapter should be turned on?).

Dreamwever CS5 ERROR server behavior panel cannot determine wheter "command" or "recordset (Query)"

i get this error whenever i open pages created in CS4. ive tried deleting the cache file... deleting the entire configuration folder and letting DW re build it.. nothing... error still there. how can i turn it off? i also cant seem to find the "edit server behaviors" button.. double click? well DW freaks out with that aswell... yes i know i have some insanely hand edited code.. basically use DW as notepad replacement.. with extra features like having the option of "add recordset" then going and editing it to my liking.

i have installed the NW2004 s sneek preview. Trying to deploy a web dynpro application. Yesterday i was able to.
Today The deployment fails with the message
Deployment exception : Cannot determine sdm host (is empty). Please configure your engine/sdm correctly !
1) I am able to log on to SDM.
2) Can see SDM as running in sapmmc
2) the J2EE engine in the SAP netweaver developer studio shows SDM as green color
With parameters
state Running
Productive use No
Debug Off
Is there any problem with SDM. I have found quite a number of threads but knon could solve the problem. The problem looks more so complciated since I was able to deploy yesterday but am unable to today.

Make sure that your NWDS has the j2ee engine linked to it. Under windows->preference->SAP j2ee engine.
If it is configured here, then you should be good. If it is still not working, try to reboot the j2ee engine and try again.

E613 SYST: You cannot determine the period for rule 03

Dear All,
We are configuring asset module and using MSTL dep key for Tax books. When we tried to create an asset with MSTL dep key, we encountered error - 'E613 SYST: You cannot determine the period for rule 03'. when verified config OAVH Define Calender Assignments transaction, Period control '03' is missing for fiscal year variant K4. Period control is exisiting in Maintain Period Control and but not in Define Calender Assignment. What I understand these period controls are being delivered by SAP. Not sure why period control '03' is missing. all other period control keys are available.
question is how to add period control 03 so that we can use MSTL dep key. we are currently using 4.7c. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Period control 01 has following entry in the transaction

K4 01 Pro rata at period start date blank 0 0 blank not selected
If I follow SAP help to define period control '03', then I just need to copy period control '01' which is listed above and select 'Mid Month' check box.
Wondering anyone did this in the past. MSTL depreciation key is being used in MACRS tax for US. I am sure people who have implemented assets module for US with tax dep, they might have encountered this issue.
