Cannot embed Adobe form in Firefox

Hello,
I generated a form in FORMSCENTRAL, selected the embed option, and pasted the script into an HTML document. The form works great in Safari, but for some reason, the bottom of the form is cutt off in Firefox. You can still display the fields below the cut off using tab, but cannot go back to an older field once the cut off point is passed. It seems like there is a problem with the way in which the form height is being displayed.
I am running Firefox 6.0, but tried downgrading and the same issue occurred. This also happens in IE.
Am I doing something wrong? Any suggestions?

I'm still not seeing a problem. I tried it on my mac with FF 5, and 6.
Can you empty your browser cache (FireFox Properties | Advanced | Network | Clear Now) and see if that changes your behavior?

Cannot display Adobe form as Callable object in GP

Hi all,
I'm trying to display an adobe form as an Interactive Form Callable object.
I've created a process -> block -> action -> callable object. But the form doesnt display. When I launch the GP runtime and initiate the process, I get the message "The next activity is not yet available: try again later using the "Refresh" button " nothing happens when I hit the refresh button.
Can someone advise me what I might be doing wrong? I've also tried things like consolidating parameters with other callable objects just to see if anything display, but no luck so far.

I'm using NW04s, EP 7.0 SPS 10
OS is Unix(server) Windows 2000 Pro (client)
Browser version is IE 6.0.
I just realised the system is sending out an email to the initiator, and the initiator is able to open the Adobe form. But who does the initiator send the email back to? I'm quite a newbie to this stuff so please bear with me. Also another question is, if the form is offline, then how do we know which workflow (GP) it will tie to once the form is submitted back to the system? In other words, does the person who receives the email with a filled adobe form have to manually initiate the workflow or is there a mechanism to automate this?

Availibility of ADOBE forms in IDES

Hey Gurus,
SAP implementation is in progress in my group, mostly all the members are kinda freshers in this project from both the sides, So kindly suggest me how to do practice on ADOBE form as i have been told that ADLC can not be installed in IDES.
I have tried out a lot but couldnt find any solution.
Waiting for the valuable comments.

Hi Vicky,
ADLC(Adobe livecycle designer) is installed on user machine so it can be installed on your desktop to design adobe forms.
But you cannot practice adobe forms in IDES. for that you must have a licensed server.
However you can practice on free miniSAP servers provided online:
like one given below:

I am not sure whether it has ADS configuration done on it or not but you can try.

Cannot embed pdfs in MS Word doc which are PDF Version 1.3 (Acrobat 4.x) [This is associated with Adobe Reader 9]. Getting 'program not installed' error.

Cannot embed pdfs in Word doc which are PDF Version 1.3 (Acrobat 4.x) [This is associated with Adobe Reader 9]. Getting 'program not installed' error.
Pdfs with other versions are okay:
Tested successfully with Adobe Pro 9 (Version 1.5 (Acrobat 6.x)), Reader X (Version 1.4 (Acrobat 5.x)) and XI (Version 1.6 (Acrobat 7.x))
Also cannot open embedded pdfs which have been embedded with this version (getting a similar error).
Importantly I have removed/disabled all security options in Adobe Reader, following numerous internet suggestions from Adobe and elsewhere. This does not fix the problem.
Currently the work around is to re-save the pdf with something other than Adobe Reader 9 (so the version updates), but we would prefer not to do this for all the old pdfs we have.

Adobe Form with XML interface cannot retrieve all data from SAP

hi all
I want to use the Adobe forms for the real estate module.
I had seen that adobe forms can have an interface with XML input and output as parameter.
In the interface type only the /DOCPARAMS an the DOCXML are INPUT parameters which are available.
No other INPUT parameter can be added to it.
When i try to retrieve the data in real estate there are some default function modules for retrieving the data from real estate.
But this function modules also are going to find out if the form which asks for this information has a IMPORT parameter
for the required data. For example, the SENDER data is retrieved, but before the default function module retrieve this data
the function module checks if the form has a INPUT parameter SENDER.
And that is not the case. And i cannot create the SENDER parameter to it, because this INTERFACE type does not allow it.
Does anybody know a solution herefore?

It is a long time ago, almost 2 years.
I created my own custom development for calling the Adobe form. This custom development uses the correct function module interface with the IMPORT XML.
The XML which i sent as IMPORT PARAMETER to the form is also created by own custom development. Via the default XML class of SAP
So that was my solution

Adobe Acrobat form created and emailed but recipient cannot save the form in reader after filling it out

When I purchased Acrobat today, the Adobe sales rep told me I could create fill-in forms that I could email to others, who could fill them out using Adobe Reader. When the recipient tried to save the completed form, he was unable to save it to his computer, only able to print. Is this correct, or is there a step we are unaware of? He owns Adobe Acrobat Pro 9, but I'm using Acrobat 11 (purchased it today). Acrobat Pro 9 cannot open the forms I sent... now we are stuck.
Solutions?

I cannot longer save file as pdf or excel once it downloads from adobe form central, can someone please help me as I have a whole hosts of applications waiting to be downloaded

Hi,
You can embed the form on your website, but you need to make sure that javascript has been enabled in the browser. You need to copy the embed code and add it into your HTML code. If you would like FormsCentral to generate embeded HTML form without using javascript, you may post a feature request and vote it. Hope it helps! Thanks!

Cannot save a completed copy of adobe forms

Hi experts,
i was developing a simple Adobe form with a drop down list. When saving that form on local system ad then opening it , I tried changing the valve in drop down list it gives me a pop-up as
"You cannot save the completed copy of this form on your computer."
is there any setting to be donw to the form.

I guess you have already found the problem: you cannot save the file if your reader rights are down == your form has not been generated as interactive and no licence has been attached. Otto

From your question, I take it you have Photoshop Elements 5.0.
You should ask over in the Photoshop Elements forum how to restore catalogs. I hope you have back ups of your images because the organizer doesn't physically store your images.

Cannot Read user input on Adobe Form .

Can you please go through the issue -
Developed Interactive Adobe form. Called by webdynpro application.
Interactive properties enable, display type - native, with pdfsource, template source and data source cleanly populated.
Submit button is webdynpro native with option CLICK and corresponding code selected in ADOBE FORM.
All the elements in adobe forms cleanly binded and checked more than 10 times to avoid any mistakes or wrong bindings.
Event handler code is written for submit button to read the data eneted by user on adobe form.
lo_el_zleaver_form->get_static_attributes(
    IMPORTING
      static_attributes = ls_zleaver_form ).
User is able to enter data on adobe form and control is comming to Submit button code but i am not able to read the user input with above code.
BASIS has check and confirmed that license is installed properly. I am using adobe reader 9 and adobe designer 8.2 and will ECC version 6.0 . Basis has confirmed the ADS configuration, Java stack and ABAP stack are compatible.
We are using the ADS from SAP NetWeaver 7.01 (EhP1, Java Stack) in
combination with SAP NetWeaver 7.00 SP15 (ABAP stack).

Nothing was changed,now i cannot print any forms ;says adobe already installed?? novice level

I cannot get my forms to print now, says Adobe is already installed, I did nothing different, been using the computer for a year no issues, any ideas?

What is your operating system?
What is your Reader version?
What exactly means "cannot"?
Can you post a screenshot of that message?
