Cannot find metadata values in workflow queue

I need some help customizing workflow action menues in WF_INQUEUE_LIST.
What I´m trying is show actions depending on a customized metadata value.
I´m able to put certain javascript code in order to modify standard behavior if conditions involve workflow metadata (i.e. wfStepName, wfName) but what i need is doing the same based on custom metadata (i.e. xMyMetadata).
I have been looking for some information in doc but functions like wfCurrentGet or GetValue don´t work.
I´ve created a custom component with an html resource overwriting setup_workflow_action_popups.
Basically is the same code that original. There´s only a little change: in the Approve Link creation section I have put this code (is stupid i know)
+<$exec rsAppendNewRow("PopupProps")$>+
+<$exec setValue("PopupProps", "label", lc("wwApprove"))$>+
*<$if strEquals(dWfStepName, "TheStepName")== true$>*
*<$exec setValue("PopupProps", "function", "javascript:{alert('Workflow Step is <$dWfStepName$>');document.Approve_<$dID$>.submit();}")$>*
+<$else$>+
*<$exec setValue("PopupProps", "function", "javascript:{alert('Step is not desired one but <$dWfStepName$>'); document.Approve_<$dID$>.submit();}")$>*
+<$endif$>+
+<$exec setValue("PopupProps", "ifClause", "AllowReview")$>+
+<$exec setValue("PopupProps", "class", "workflow")$>+
+<$exec setValue("PopupProps", "id", "workflowApprove")$>+
This change works. But i need make the action depending on a custom metadata value i.e. xMyCustomMD
*<$if strEquals(xMyCustomMD, "")== false $>*
*<$exec setValue("PopupProps", "function", "javascript:{alert('<$xMyCustomMD$>');document.Approve_<$dID$>.submit();}")$>*
+<$else$>+
*<$exec setValue("PopupProps", "function", "javascript:{alert('Value not find');document.Approve_<$dID$>.submit();}")$>*
+<$endif$>+
I am not capable of retrieve the value of xMyCustomMD
How can i get access in this page to this metadata?
Thank you very much

Can you check what metadata you can see?
I gathered that you have an access to dWfStepName, and dID, but not to other metadata values - sounds like the values you can see are taken from workflow temporary files and if you want to have all the metadata of the item you will have to run a search query to get them. I would suggest to follow to other workflow screens (workflow_review_frames template), because there it is possible to see all metadata and you can get an idea what needs to be done.

  • Gnucash startup "cannot find default values"

    I keep getting the error "cannot find default values" when launching gnucash 2.4.8-1.
    I tried "Setup" and "update search path" and "install into home directory" options, but neither of them seem to fix the problem - the error message keeps reappearing after launching gnucash.
    Any idea how to fix this?

    I am using FM10 in Windows 8 (I occasionally get this error whenever adobe products are updated on my machine)
    If you work in a more controlled environment (Federal Subcontractor with administrative controls everywhere), I contact my IT department , or if you have the administrator rights, perform the following steps:
    Launch command prompt as administrator.
    Type “appwiz.cpl” press enter
    Right mouse click on Adobe Acrobat Pro and select change
    Select repair and click next.
    If necessary enter administrative credentials when requested.

  • Kodo cannot find metadata for valid persistent class?

    Hi!
    I still cannot make 2.4.0 working. It just refuses loading valid
    persistent class. I've tried to preload class by calling Class c =
    Category.class but it didn't help.
    Tried it on 2.4.0 RC3.

  • Cannot create target element /Invoice. Values missing in queue context.

    Hi Experts,
    I am working on Idoc to File scenario using SAP PI 7.1. In this scenario I am mapping Invoic02 Idoc with Invoice xsd. I am able to test the mapping in ESR with status as success.
    In ID Tools --> Test Configuration I used the same payload and tried testing the configuration step by step. while executing I am getting an error at Operation Mapping saying "Runtime exception occurred during application mapping com/sap/xi/tf/_MM_SRM_Hubwoo_Invoice_; com.sap.aii.mappingtool.tf7.IllegalInstanceException: Cannot create target element /Invoice. Valuesmissing in queue context. Target XSD requires a v~"
    Even though the mapping is getting executed successfully in ESR, I am not able to fix this issue. Need your inputs in resolving the same.

    Hi ,
    issue"Can not create the target element   value missing the queue context'.
    reason for this issue:
    Target field expecting some value from sender field. so in testing your not getting  any data from source field  for this reason your getting that issue.
    Solution:
    In mapping use node function:Mapwith deafault between source and taget fileds.
    Then activate mapping . now excute the scenario it  will properly without that issue.
    Cheers,
    Meera

  • Cannot find queue

    I have run the examples that come with the j2ee tutorial on my local application server (version 8). When I try to run these on our application server 7 on a unix box I get "cannot find queue" errors. I have set up the connections and queues in identical ways and have checked that they are running using the admin tool. I am assuming there are some differences between version 7 and 8, but I thought 8 had been backward compatible? Suggestions?

    hello have u got an answer for the queue. I am using jboss 3.2.5. I have the same problem ?

    Hi
    The easiest solution will be , write an simple java map for your response mapping.
    Please provide your target structure , if you need any help on the java mapping.
    Sample code:
    Response message from web service
    target msg:
    java code:
    package com.sap;
    import javax.xml.parsers.DocumentBuilder;
    import javax.xml.parsers.DocumentBuilderFactory;
    import javax.xml.transform.Result;
    import javax.xml.transform.Source;
    import javax.xml.transform.Transformer;
    import javax.xml.transform.TransformerFactory;
    import javax.xml.transform.dom.DOMSource;
    import javax.xml.transform.stream.StreamResult;
    import org.w3c.dom.Document;
    import org.w3c.dom.Element;
    import org.w3c.dom.Node;
    import org.w3c.dom.NodeList;
    import com.sap.aii.mapping.api.AbstractTransformation;
    import com.sap.aii.mapping.api.StreamTransformationException;
    import com.sap.aii.mapping.api.TransformationInput;
    import com.sap.aii.mapping.api.TransformationOutput;
    public class populateResponseMessage extends AbstractTransformation {
          public void transform(TransformationInput arg0, TransformationOutput arg1)
                      throws StreamTransformationException {
                try {
                      DocumentBuilderFactory tfactory = DocumentBuilderFactory
                                  .newInstance();
                      DocumentBuilder tbuilder = tfactory.newDocumentBuilder();
                      Document doc = tbuilder.parse(arg0.getInputPayload()
                                  .getInputStream());
                      Document newdoc = tbuilder.newDocument();
                      Element root = (Element) newdoc.createElementNS(
                                  "urn:sap-com:document:sap:rfc:functions",
                                  "ns1:ZTEST_FAULT_MESSAGE_DATA.Response");
                      newdoc.appendChild(root);
                      NodeList nlList = doc.getElementsByTagName("ConversionRateResult");
                      if (nlList.getLength() != 0 && nlList != null) {
                            Node data = nlList.item(0);
                            String sourceval = data.getTextContent();
                            Element rate = (Element) newdoc.createElement("RATE");
                            rate.setTextContent(sourceval);
                            root.appendChild(rate);
                      Transformer transformer = TransformerFactory.newInstance()
                                  .newTransformer();
                      Source source = new DOMSource(newdoc);
                      Result output = new StreamResult(arg1.getOutputPayload().getOutputStream());
                      transformer.transform(source, output);
                } catch (Exception e) {

  • Cannot find a direct link to a workflow task to automatically be in "Edit Item" mode to complete a task

    Hi all. I'm looking for a way to create a link that brings the user into "Edit Item" so they will not need to click on "Edit Item". Once in "Edit Item" I look at the URL and it looks like this...Which is usable but I cannot
    find it!
    https://Sitename.sharepoint.com/sites/Dev/EOS/_layouts/15/start.aspx#/Lists/Workflow%20Tasks/EditForm.aspx?ID=295
    Sooooo I know the item I am trying to edit is ID=295. But when I reference the variable named ID, it is an entirely different number.
    See screen shots. I have a Workflow Tasks "Task" created and this is where I see the ID.
    Shot #1 - Where I Modify this View to show fields in the Workflow Tasks List
    Shot #2 (not uploaded) - Fields in Workflow Tasks; There is no ID field!!
    Shot #3 - My Workflow Tasks list
    Any thoughts?
    thanks!

    Only at a certain size, any higher your directed to view the case in the admin which has the file.
    As a not I say often to people about workflows etc - These emails are as their named - Notifications. They are not intended to be the means you run an online business and just emails is something for a BC site not to rely on. They have limited information and scope and everything and more is within the admin and the depths of the CRM in a browser that can run dynamic and rich content information.

  • Cannot find errors -200222 and -200141 info

    Hello,
    I have sometimes run time errors -200222 and -200141 after executing my program for several hours. I tried to find extra information about these errors, but I cannot locate them in Labview 7.1 help, NI-DAQmx help, or ni.com web and forums.
    How can I find detailed info about them (what usually produces them, possible workarounds)? Where are they generated? I guess, from the following links, that they come from the NI-DAQmx driver:
    http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/websearch/8A0E097385A4269586256DBA0054E668?OpenDocument
    http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/001DA4DB6A31CF8886256D33006FA857
    But my errors are not listed on those links. And error ranges in labview don´t contain these two codes.
    I´m specially concerned about error -200222 because it says "acquisition stopped", and my program is going for a field pilot in a couple of days, with 24x5 execution time. I cannot reproduce the conditions that origin the error nor find information about in the help, the web or forums. I can only wait them again to occurr or get your help.
    Thanks in advance

    Hi Garett,
    You can view the log file directly in DIAdem-SCRIPT, it's the bottom-most window with the gray background. I always have to scroll up a few lines to see the error, and usually there are two or three error events stored in the log file each time the DataPlugin fails to load. The last event, located at the bottom, almost always contains no useful information for DataPlugin debugging. You have to find the first event by scrolling up to find a reference to a line number in the DataPlugin which caused the error.
    Also note that the DataPlugin will throw an error if it runs through just fine but does not load any data. In other words, if you are building up your DataPlugin step by step (as you should), and are just at the early stages where you parse a few items in the file and look at their values, you can easily forget to create at least 1 group or channel. If the DataPlugin does not create at least 1 group or channel when it runs through, it will throw an error that the data loading failed, when really there is no error in the DataPlugin beyond that it loaded nothing.
    I like to output metadata values I'm parsing from the binary or header file as group properties when I'm building up the DataPlugin step by step, like this:
    Set ThisGroup = Root.ChannelGroups.Add(ThisGroupName)
    ThisGroup.Properties.Add MetaDataName, MetaDataValue
    Then I can look at a long list of metadata values in the Data Portal, and I never forget to load at least 1 group or channel in order to avoid that pesky error that nothing was loaded by the DataPlugin. You can also do the same thing with channel properties, of course:
    Set ThisChannel = ThisGroup.Channels.AddImplicitChannel(Name, 0, 1, 2, eI32)
    ThisChannel.Properties.Add MetaDataName, MetaDataValue
    Let us know if this doesn't help with your current issue,

  • Workflow queue - too many items

    Hi all,
    We are experiencing serious issue with too many documents in user's workflow queue. Namely, when number of documents in queue exceeds 100 (or so), rendering of "My workflow" page takes too long (10-20 seconds). Furthermore, when user approves some document from the list, page is reloaded, again very slow, which makes things very frustrating...
    My questions are:
    1. Does anyone have the similar problem ?
    2. If yes, how to determine if problem lies in time needed to read HDA file, or in time needed to show HTML page.
    3. Finally, is there any way to create pagination or whatever, ie. to make list more readable and faster ?
    Thank You in advance,

    3. Finally, is there any way to create pagination or whatever, ie. to make list more readable and faster ?This would require some customizing (not sure if anything is available by default). The easiest way is to provide some filtering (e.g. search by metadata value). I can send you a component which modifies the page template in that way (see email in my profile).

  • BPEL Correlation: ORABPEL-03812 Cannot find property alias.

    HI,
    I have created a BPEL process, that places a message into a JMS queue, and waits to receive a response in anoter JMS queue.
    In both the request and response message types, there is a uuid field, that has been populated initially with generateGUID() function etc.
    I plan to correlate based on this value.
    I am using correlation sets to correlated to the BPEL instance using the uuid field in the request and response fields.
    Ive gone by the book i.e. BPEL developer guide, in creating the Correlation set, property, property aliases etc.
    I am able to successfully compile and deploy the process.
    But on execution of the BPEL instance i get error as follows.
    <default.collaxa.cube> <BaseCubeSessionBean::logError> Error while invoking bean "cube delivery": Cannot find property alias.

    Due to this the BPEL process instance itself is not created and thus no further action can be taken.
    Ive ensured that all necessary imports into the various wsdl files (including partner wsdl files) are present.
    Can somebody please help?

    Hi,
    I solved the problem too :)
    In the outbound jms adapter call, where the correlation is be started, there is an in|out|in-out attribute that needs to be set to out. probabaly signifies the outbound message from that node.
    This worked :)
    let me know if you tried something else...

  • Dynamic Declare Component cannot find property

    We currently have one main page calls a DDC(Dynamic declarative component) page fragment to create/update a record in database. The main page pass in a key to DDC when it loads DDC. The DDC binds to a view object with bind variable (get value from the passed key and load data from table) and several LOV attributes. Once user clicks submit button in main page, we wish that all the fields displayed in DDC could be committed to a database table to save.
    I use 11.1.1.5.
    In order to assign the bind variable of VO, we wrote a method in Application Module and make it invoked as the first executable when the main page is loaded. The deployment is fine. However, the runtime always thrown some exception to complain it cannot find property definition like this:

    Hi,
    I appreciate if you can show your code, but before that, make sure if you're following this tip below:
    "Declarative Components are regular JSF components except that they are built as a composite out of existing ADF Faces components. Declarative components cannot have a PageDef file associated with it and instead use value or method attribute to communicate with the consuming page. When creating a declarative component, the attrs implicit object is defined that allow you to reference the component's exposed value attribute from ADF Faces components within.
    An input text field contained in an declarative component may reference a value attribute "compValue" defined on the declarative component by using the following EL
    #{attrs.compValue}
    The declarative component compValue attribute then would us an EL reference like shown next to read/write values from or to the ADF binding layer:
    #{bindings.attribute_name.inputValue}"

  • OpenSQLException - Cannot assign double value

    Hello,
      I have some table in database with field of type 'double'. I use JDBC to store data in this table and sometimes I would like to place special values in it, eg:

    Unfortunately I get exception like the one below.
    My question is: what is the allowed range of values for type 'double' in database according to OpenSQL spec ?

    Hi,
       Thank you for your replay. I didn't touch DB directly, I defined db structure through NetWeaver Dictionary perspective and table that i'm interested in is defined like the one on this screen: http://zduniak.com/tmp/sap_dictionary_double.png
    So I'm looking for generic solution (SAP OpenSQL), not specific to any particular DB vendor.
    Maybe there is somewhere on help.sap.com (i couldn't find unfortunately) information what is the allowed range of values for type 'double' in database according to OpenSQL spec ?
    Thank,
