Umm, so how do I do to install lib32-libwbclient?
https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/lib32-libwbclient/
https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/AUR
Maybe it wasn't clear from my original post, but I have yaourt installed and I tried to install lib32-libwbclient by running yaourt -S lib32-libwbclient, which resulted in the error message in my original post. I have used yaourt to successfully install packages in the past, such as ttf-ms-fonts and owncloud-client.

I Have tried repairing visual studio But no use.
I have unistalled all the things and installed again but no use . Please anybody resolve this issue..

    Hello amanojkumar24,
I see a related error thread from here:
    https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/windowsapps/en-US/b6a66a5a-e3b4-4f1a-848e-c1a6b7668b31/desgin-mode-breaks-down-during-windows-store-application-windows-8?forum=toolsforwinapps
As you've already repaired Visual Studio but Visual Studio still reports the error for you, we need to look into the error info:
This package requires minimum version 0.0.0.0 of framework Microsoft.VCLibs.120.00.Debug published by any publisher to install.
So here we need this package "Microsoft.VCLibs.120.00.Debug"
    Please do the following:
    1. Check your installation that you have enabled VC++ components. If you haven't or if you are not sure of it, please check this blog:
    http://blogs.msdn.com/b/vcblog/archive/2014/08/01/c-runtime-for-sideloaded-windows-8-1-apps.aspx
Then you can download and install the package from
    here.
    2. You can also make sure you've registered and already have the license:
    http://stackoverflow.com/questions/20010421/vs-2013-xaml-editor-and-microsoft-vclibs-120-00-debug
Someone fixed it by using this solution.

    (1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):
    http://majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=4459
    (2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
    (3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
    (4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any Bonjour entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
    (5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?

  • Cannot install applications because the certificate for .... is not valid

    Hello,
We have an in house enterprise app that can no longer update.  We have taken the steps outlined here.  These steps include installing a SSL certificate on the server from a trusted CA (GeoTrust) that shows as valid in Safari on OSX.  Also the http to https redirect has been setup and verified in Safari and FireFox.  Addtionally, the plist file's XML has been manually updated to point HTTPS.  New installs work on iOS 7.1 without an issue.
However, the program has automatic updates that fail with the message "Cannot install applications because the certificate for .... is not valid".
The update process works like this:
A Plist file exists on the server that contains the version number of the build on the server.   The app will download the file and parse it into a NSDictionary then the verison into an NSString.  If the version doesn't match the current version then the user is prompted to install updates.
When the user says yes to the prompt a UIApplication is sent the Open URL message with a hard coded download URL that looks like this:
    imts-services//?action=download-manifest&url=http://www.example.com/app/Release.plist
On iOS 7.1 the user will receive the message "Cannot install applications because the certificate for example is not valid".   This error occurs even thought the certificate is valid.  It almost looks like the URL isn't respecing the redirect from the server.
Has anyone else seen this?  Is there a work around for it?  Or do I have to redeploy the app (with an HTTPS in the hard coded URL)?

kkoishi, cskimble, OS 7.1 update forced all software installation services to use the HTTPS protocol instead of HTTP. Here is Apache config that adds certificate support and code for changing links in existing *.plist files automatically: http://cases.azoft.com/how-to-fix-certificate-is-not-valid-error-on-ios-7/

Do I need to add another key manually to install packages manually from the AUR?

I edited your post to change the \[quote\] tags to \[code\] tags - it makes for a much easier to read post

  • Cannot install hamachi because of previous version

I am on Windows 7 x64 and I am attempting to install the newest hamachi, but I cannot because hamachi says it found a previous version which I attempted to uninstall but it refuses telling me it cannot find hamachi-update.exe located in windows appdata and whatnot. So I removed all registry entries and files on my computer dealing with the search terms hamachi and logmein, but I still cannot install the newest hamachi because it gives me this error
LogMeIn Hamachi version [PREVIOUSVERSION] has been detected on your computer. Would you like to proceed with an update?
if i click no the installation closes if I click yes i get another error
The older version of LogMeIn Hamachi cannot be removed. Contact your technical support group.
Then the installation fails. There are no hamachi services in msconfig or task manager, and it is not still being detected as a network adapter so I assume it is no longer on my system. Now I need to find what files might be left over on my system that still cause the installer to find an old version of hamachi can anyone help me?

  • Cannot install program because newer version already exists?

    Hello,
I'm trying to install fontographer but it says it cannot install on this disk because a newer version of the program is already installed.
I find this quite strange because I've completely removed every single file of the other version, but still it says it's installed.
Anyone knows how I can solve thi problem?
Many thanks to anyone who is willing to help me.
    Greetz,
    Finn.

Use the developers method to completely uninstall the newer version of the program.
Sometimes a program will leave it's preference files because you might be uninstalling and reinstalling the same version to fix a software issue. The older version see's the newer version preference files and gives the errors.
Use the free Easy Find and find the programs file(s) and/or just remove them from your ~/Library/Preferences folder by Finder > Go to Folder > /Library/Preferences
There may be files in other locations as well. Perhaps it's best to ask the developer where all the files are for completel removal.

A .exe file is a windows executable file and will not run on a Mac unless you have virtual PC installed.

  • Cannot Install Packages

I'm experiencing a strange problem when trying to install packages. I've seen this problem with Google Voice and Video and the new XCode 4.2 installer. After I enter my password when prompted, the installer doesn't advance to the next screen. For instance, I click install and correctly enter my password in the Google Voice and Video installer, but the installer remains on the "Installation Type" screen. I don't see any errors or any sort of indication of failure, I'm just returned to the previous screen.
This is causing me a big headache and I can't find a workaround. Searching for the issue hasn't gotten me any results.

I couldn't find a solution to this. I wound up creating a Lion installation disc and did a completely fresh installation. If that's not an option for you, I've found that installing packages is possible through the command line under sudo.
sudo installer -pkg ~/path/to/installer.pkg -target /
That's the best I could do. I'm pretty sure the problem came from an upgrade gone awry. I've installed OSX on a few other machines and helped friends upgrade to Lion and haven't seen the same issue since.
    Cheers,
    Dan

  • HT1925 cannot install  upgrade because old Bonjour components cannot be removed Bonjour.msi not found

Cannot install upgrade of Itunes due Bonjour old files cannot be removed nor Bonjour.msi not fuond on PC

  • Cannot Install Tiger because of RAID

Hey guys, I just bought a Mac Pro that was previously set up with 4 HHD's in it set up as a Raid.
First 2 hdd's are Stripped and the other 2 are mirrored.
The problem is, the computer is currently running leopard. The reason I'm trying to downgrade is because I work with Pro Tools HD and leopard isn't fully compatible with it yet.
I've called apple support and they told me they do not support the RAID card...
Anyway, does anyone know how I can go about getting the installer to recognize the RAID? I'm not too familiar with apple raids and I don't know if its BIOS or Software or whatever the case.
    Thank you.

Well, then Leopard's DU was used to create the RAIDs if you see them. They are probably not going to be compatible with Tiger unless you delete the RAIDs in Leopard and then recreate them in Tiger. Of course all data will be lost on the striped array. The mirrored array drives should remain intact until you attempt to make a new mirrored array.
So, you are going to need to backup anything you want to keep beforehand. Then use Leopard's installer disc to undo the RAIDs. After that you will simply have four drives. Boot from the Tiger installer disc and reformat the drives using Disk Utility (Utilities menu of the installer.) If you want to create new RAIDs, then do so before attempting to install OS X because you cannot add a system volume to a RAID after the fact.
