Cannot Launch Trial Version Dreamweaver CS6

I have repeatedly tried to install and launch the above trial but when I try to launch it nothing happens.  Any idea what to do?

Did you receive any error messages during the install process?  You can follow the steps listed at Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5, CS6 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cs5-cs5.html to review your install log and locate the error.

    This is a brand new Toshiba Satellite C55t-A running Win 8 64 bit.
    I need to install a trial of Dreamweaver CS6 for a conference workshop next Tues. So I downloaded it and Installed as Administrator. When I tried to launch DW it hung up in "not responding". So I uninstalled DW & the Adobe Creative Cloud, and then did a manual Windows update. Reinstalled DW, and still the same problem.
    Can someone help me resolve this? Thanks in advance!
    Edited to add that I thought I was installing a trial of DW CS6, but was redirected to an install of DW CC.

       I have had similar problem with  a subscription version of CS6. It now reditrects me to Creative Cloud (where I'm asked to purchase membership)  and can no longer access the paid for monthly subscription version of CS6..

  • Cannot launch trial version

    I had installed beta 4 and now installed the trial version on a german WinXP SP2. I deinstalled beta 4 and have deleted the whole library, because I don`t need it any more. Now Lightroom asked me, if it should create a new library, which I confirmed. Lightroom then tries to start ( I an see the "launch screen"), but then it stays there forever and nothing happens anymore. CPU usage is 100%. I deinstalled it and cleaned my registry and installed it again after that. But still the same problem. It does not launch completely.

    I had to disable NVidia's NView Desktop Manager on my computer to get Lightroom to behave properly, I had similar (though not exactly the same) problems.
    I found the option to change NView by going to control panel and opening the NVidia NView icon.

  • Help with install of trial version Dreamweaver CS6

    I can't launch the app'. Has anyone else noted a problem with mfc100.dll file? (The message returned when I try to launch DW points to this as being the problem.)  I've tried reinstalling it but the same thing occurs. To test, and make sure it wasn't my computer or my error,  I also downloaded Muse, which works fine.
    Any help is much appreciated -- eager to use DWCS6.

    Did you run set-up from the download manager, to install the program successfully?
    Can you see the blue PSE icon on the desktop?

  • Trial version of CS6 Master Collection keeps asking me to validate a serial number.

    I downloaded the trial version of CS6 Master Collection for Windows. I installed it as a trial on a 64 bit windows machine. When I try to run any application, I am asked to validate a serial number even though none has ever been entered. I uninstalled, rebooted, downloaded and ran the latest version of the Adobe Cleaner and rebooted. I reinstalled and I am still being asked to validate a serial number. There have been registered versions of Photoshop CS 5 and CS5,5 on this machine, as well as a trial version of Photoshop CS6. I have tried everything I know. Help please?

    Can you please verify:
    It shows Validating Serial Number screen on every launch.?
    Does it hang their or shows an error?
    If it shows an error then on next screen does it prompt for entering new serial Number?
    Can you please send oobelib.log (in %temp% in windows and /tmp in Mac) so that I can help you in a better manner.

  • CS6 upgrade suddenly will not load, telling me it is a trial version of CS6 Ext and I must register.

    I upgraded from CS5 to CS6 for my IMac.  I downloaded CS6 put in my serial number and it worked fine for a number of weeks.  Suddenly, when I went to use it it said it was a trial version.  I had to register it to use my CS6   I registered it and it worked,  but only as a trial version of CS6 Extended. I do not want CS6 Extended.  I deleted it from my hard drive and once again downloaded my upgrade of CS6 again with my serial number and it worked fine for a couple of weeks. Today, once again, it tells me it is a trial version and will not load unless I register the trial version. What the heck is going on? This is crazy.  I simply want to use CS6, for which I paid. Help!

    Suddenly my Photoshop CS6 is opening as a trial version of CS6 extended. Why? How do I make it stop, and open as it should?

    I'm in the same boat, and now it's ended and I can't open CS6 at all. Plus I'm getting no support from Adobe on this over the weekend.
    I tried re-installing on top of it, but that didn't help. I would completely un-install and try re-installing again, but think they'll leave something still stopping CS6 from opening.
    Why they forced this on us, I don't know.

    I'm not sure we're talking about the same thing here.
    I agree completely, with respective to the Trial version - having some options that you may or may not want available, to try them out, is not a problem.
    But once I decide that I do or don't want those extra options, I would like to be able to install only the version with the features that I want.  I don't want my hard drive and registry to be cluttered with features/options of the extended version that I do not want.
    So back to my original question - is it possible to purchase, and install, the 'plain' CS6 version, and not the CS6-extended version?  Again, I'm not talking about the trial version - I'm talking about the final purchased version installed on my computer.
    Have I explained it better this time?  If I understand the replies above, they indicate that I will have the full CS6-extended version installed on my computer, regardless of whether or not I want that version.  The Serial Number/License I purchase will determine which version I will have available to use, but the whole installation will be the same, regardless, with unusued files, folders, etc. from the 'inactive' CS6-extended version.

    No, the trial version is identical to the purchased version in every aspect other than the time limitation. Besides, the boxed version will probably be LR 4.0 and then need to be updated. To cancel the time limit simply supply the registration key from the back of the box in Help/Registration.
