Cannot load song anymore

Hi everybody,
after installing Logicpro8 two times, everything was alright and we worked on several projects without any problems until yesterday.
Then we tried to open a project, we did work on for several days and logic crashed, not just with the main project file, we tried to open 10 other backups of this song, any of these crashed also.
We're guessing it has sthg to do with 3rd party plugins, we're using BFD, Kontakt2 and Chris Hein Horns. UAD works fine. Other projects are alright, but this one crashes even before loading samples.
So there's no way getting the song loaded and we are not very keen on composing it all over again.
We repaired the volumes without getting any results.
Can anybody help?

Deactivate the Audio Core (Logic->Preferences->Drivers->disable Core) without having a Project loaded - load the corrupted song - all Plugs are crossed out - bybass 3rd party plugs - activate the Core again - activate the plugs one by one - once the corrupted plug is activated the Song crashes - deactivate Core again - open corrupted song and take out that broken plug - this procedure has helped me before

Not authorized...cannot load songs from iTunes into iMovie

Hello,
I was importing some songs from iTunes into iMovie, something I've always done and never had a problem with before, until this wknd. After I had loaded in the songs into my iMovie timeline, and they played just fine, I then started getting pop-up boxes with the msg. stating: "This computer is not authorized to play...mp4... If you purchased this song you can open iTunes and authorize this computer to play this song by entering your Apple ID password." I did indeed click on the link to authorize, and put in my password, and then when I tried loading the song again, I got another pop-up box w/an Error msg. What gives? I have never seen this before. I checked out the authorization on my computer in iTunes, and it did state that I am authorized (I am the only one who uses the computer). I read some of the posts, do I have to De-authorize, then authorize again? I just don't understand the problem. I even tried burning the songs I wanted onto a disc, then tried re-importing them to iTunes, and it was still the same problem! I thought the whole idea of iTunes was to be able to play them with a project.
Any suggestions would be most appreciated, thank you.

It is a bug that Apple is aware of and apparently working on. I think it is an iTunes bug since it seems to effect both iDVD and iMovie. See these for a few examples...

Cannot play songs anymore on ipod

*Hi,I used to play songs perfectly on my iPod but after I downloaded some songs from frostwire onto my iPod,they wouldn't play.I click on the song and after a few seconds the track appears as if its playing but then it suddenly slides away as if the song has finished!I deleted all the songs I had downloaded from frostwire but it still doesnt work.Any suggestions would be very helpful.Thanks!*

*oh, I also forgot.My games have also disappeared after I downloaded the songs.*

Cannot load games anymore

Since maybe a week ago, I can no longer load games on my imac - it does not seem to matter whether I am using Safari, Chrome or Firefox. The only change I have made is downloading the OSX upgrade. Help, I have tried everything I know to do. But, I am no expert so am a bit lost here.

Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing with Safari on your Mac. I recommend resetting Safari for an issue like this.
You can reset Safari by going to Safari > Reset Safari and then selecting the option to "Remove all website data." This will clear your Safari History and Top Sites, so I recommend bookmarking the sites you would like to save before resetting Safari. Are you talking about iCloud or iTunes Match?
They are different things. If you want your music on the iPhone, you should download it from iTunes Match.

Help - cannot load photos anymore

From one day to another I couldn't synchronise photos to my ipod video. Can anybody help? I tried to reset the Ipod but the problem still exists.

Try deleting the iPod Photo Cache. You'll have to search your computer for it.

CANNOT TRANSFER SONGS ANYMORE!!!!

so my little nephew wa messing around with my ipod and i do not know what he did. whenever i plug my ipod into the usb cable it automatically comes out "firewire connections are not supported. to transfer, connect usb cable provided" and i do not have the cd to redownload itunes. what do i do

First, take a look at the docking connector on the bottom of your iPod. Check for debris, cookie crumbs, etc., and if you see any clean them out. Do the same thing on the docking end of your cable and try again.
If that doesn't work, try another cable if you have access to one. If that still doesn't work it is likely your nephew damaged the logic board and it needs to be repaired.

Cannot load certain artist unless I ren

My son is having a problem whereby he cannot load songs by certain artists (in his case kings of leon, manic street preachers, oasis). But if he renames them they will load ok. I am assuming this not to be a DRM issue (otherwise DRM would be a bit pointless if it was that easy to bypass).
Ideas anyone?

Surely if the location is wrong then no album would work.
With certain artists, WMP will report ERROR in the status column, when you perform a Sync.
With some other artists, it displays STOPPED.
In either case - rename the artist, to something George W Bush it will then sync.
But, and here's the puzzling bit, most artists work fine.

You can sync your iPod with multiple computers, but what can be synced is very limited. See this article for more details.

Cannot load a 5 song ep to iPOD

Hello, I bought a 5 song ep and cannot load it onto my iPOD classic. I have bought hundreds of songs and albums from itunes and have no problem uploading them. I have had this happen before with a song I bought and still can not upload that song. Can anyone help with this?

Have you tried playing the tracks in iTunes, at least for a few seconds, before trying to transfer them to the iPod? Sometimes you have to play the item for a bit before the authorization "takes".

Well, the information above describes deleting. It doesn't say delete now in mail, it says Trash. In Messages it says delete. You just swipe from right to left now.
Closing open apps, double tap the home button, the multi-task bar comes up. Put your finger on the thumbnail of the app just above the icon and swipe upwards. App closed!

Uploading to online data storage: Now cannot download songs into iTunes

Hello all.
I am not seeing this one on any FAQs, knowledge bases, or discussion boards yet:
I am doing my initial upload of files to SugarSync, a highly-recommended online data storage service. Since I started, I cannot download songs into iTunes, even from the iTunes Store.
On any new downloads from the iTunes Store, the song DOES appear in the Music library view but immediately after completing the download it shows the exclamation point warning that the file is not in its location. The new folders get created properly within the iTunes Music folder but the subfolder where the song should be is empty. Each time I had to write iTunes Support to get them to make the files available.
I can still add files manually, no problem. E.g., I can add *.mp3 or *.wav files or folders, I can convert them to AAC, etc. The glitch seems to occur only when automated loads into iTunes are operating.
As a test, I downloaded a song from Amazon. Here the problem was different but I could work around it manually. Normally the Amazon process loads songs automatically into iTunes, too. Here again, the download did create the proper folder in the iTunes Music folder, as it should, but this time the symptoms were reversed:
(a) the mp3 file WAS in its folder as it should be (w/the iTunes DL, the file was NOT there)
(b) the song did NOT appear in the iTunes Music view (w/the iTunes DL, the song DID appear)
(c) I was able to browse to the file and tell it manually to load into iTunes (w/iTunes I had to write Support and wait a day).
(I wonder what's the cause of the differences between the two cases.)
Strictly speaking, I can't PROVE the problem has anything to do with SugarSync (which otherwise seems good so far), but the DL problem started as soon as I started using it. Something in the SugarSync upload or file-monitoring process, or an odd thin gin iTunes, seems to be preventing automated, direct loads into iTunes. And since the data service runs in background, so it can monitor file changes, that might mean I can't buy music anymore! Obviously that would be a dealbreaker with SS. (I have contacted SS on this but they've not had fair chance to reply yet.)
1) Anyone else have this problem?
2) Is this permanent or just temporary while I am doing the initial upload?
3) Anyone know a solution?
(FYI, I am a highly-experienced user and otherwise quite handy with iTunes files, library moves, and backups. My library is entirely consolidated and all AAC.)

UPDATE 1. CHANGING BROWSER HELPED -- OR DID IT?
I called Apple iTunes Support, who said the problem is new to them. The technician's hypothesis was that something, perhaps browser-related, was interfering with the initial creation of a temporary file (which should go to the Recycle Bin) that instead causes the completed file to go to there.
He noted that iTunes, though not going through one's browser onscreen, does use settings within one's default browser. I use Mozilla Firefox, so we switched to IE as the default browser, restarted iTunes, and the song downloaded with no problem! Then I switched back to Mozilla, restarted iTunes, and it worked AGAIN with no problem!
(Dutifully I advised SugarSync, which is still investigating.)
UPDATE 2: ARTIST NAME CHANGE - SOME FILES GOT MIS-MOVED / MIS-CHANGED
Definitely something still wrong. This time some pre-existing song entries (not new downloads) lost their connection to their source file.
In iTunes, which manages folder names for artists and albums automatically, I corrected the spelling for an Artist, so immediately iTunes renamed the folder, and automatically SugarSync noted the change to be uploaded. While the changed folder name and all the songs within were still uploading to SS, in iTunes I saw exclamation points come up -- but only for some of them. Most files got moved or changed correctly, but several lost connection to their file (i.e., the file was removed for the original misnamed folder but never moved into the correctly-named folder). Weird.
Worse, in only some of those cases did I find the missing *.m4a file in the Recycle bin. (I had to retrieve old, original *.mp3 versions from another folder and re-import each into iTunes manually.) I've never seen iTunes have a problem managing an Artist rename until I started using the live SS process.
(I've reported this to SS and asked if there is a way to disable temporarily SS to see if that's the problem.)
[Note: I am willing to try downloads again but I am wary of trying to rename entire Artists (Folder) again. That was a lot of work.]

UPDATE 3: SERIES OF TESTS - 1 FAILURE USING iTUNES
Still problem occurs, but not always. Today, I rebooted PC. I tried CD, iTunes, & Amazon. I varied having the browser open when using iTunes.
Here are the results of a series of attempts to download songs. "FAIL" means the file did not load properly into iTunes or loaded but lost its connection (exclamation point warning).
