Cannot take a picture of check to deposit

I had an iPhone 4S that I replaced with the iPhone 6. I have an app to edeposit checks into my bank that worked on my 4S and the 6 starts out ok but when I try to take a picture of the check to deposit, it will not take the picture. How do I fix that?

Is there an updated or different app for the newer iOS, to replace the older one?
Some apps failed to make the transition from one iOS to another.

My ipad front camera doesn't working, cannot take a picture this moment, how to fix this problem?

Try closing the Camera app via the taskbar and see if it works when you re-open the app : from the home screen (i.e. not with the Camera app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Camera app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

  • Cannot take a picture from the lock screen

    Hey,
I cannot take pictures from the lock screen. I push the home button, i see the icon of the camera but when i try to push it the whole screen bumps slightly up and then settles back down without opening the camera app.
Any ideas as to why this is happening?
    THX

Press down on the Camera icon, and then drag the screen up. iOS 5.1 introduced the slide camera rather than the button to press on. I believe people were complaining about accidentally pressing it, not sure though.
Bit I digress; press and slide

  • Cannot take a picture with Camileo X100?

After connecting my Camileo X100 with the RCA connector to my LG LCD TV, browsing through my pictures and eventually unplugging the camera, something wierd happened.
After I turned the camera on and tried to take a picture, nothing happened. I can't take a picture, shoot a video, zoom in and out or set the picture and video preferences and settings. I can only browse through the pictures and videos that I took before. It seems like my camera is stuck in the same mode when it was plugged to my TV.
I removed the battery several times and nothing. The only button that is responding is the playback button and when trying to take a picture, only the (white, green, or red) square is shown. Please, help :(

Uh-oh. I jump to conclusions too fast.
This is my second question that I answered by myself but still, don't delete it if other users get this kind of problem.
I basically turned on the camera, plugged it into the TV with my RCA connector, turned off the camera, unplugged it and turned it on again.
    *Now it's working prefectly.*

I cannot take pano pictures with my ipod touch, when I touch the option for pano it appears a blurried screen.I dont know what to do,it is a new device (2 weeks new)

    If that is not successful
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup. See:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

    Try:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try another cable
    - Try on another computer
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

  • HT201401 My camera keeps shutting down when I try to take a picture

I've used my camera successfully for several months.  However, last weekend it began having problems.  I would focus the lens, hit the button and the camera went black.  I had to try several times to get a picture.  Now I can take a picture of me while holding it, but I cannot take a  picture of something else.  I get a black screen and then see the subject.  Once I push the button to take the picture, the screen goes black again.  Please help.

First try a reset, which is similar to a computer restart and is done by pressing and holding the home button and the sleep/wake or on/off button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo and then release.

  • My new I Phone 6 will not clearly take a photo of checks I am trying to deposit with my mobile app. I give the same check to my husband and he successfully takes a photo with his Droid. Embarrassing. Is there some setting that I have not enabled?

I am attempting to use my banking mobile device. Each time I take a photo of a check for deposit, it says it cannot read it. I have been successful a few times, but only after numerous attempts. I give the same check to my husband and, using his Droid phone, he takes the photo and it is accepted the first time. I use a dark background, have a steady hand, and include all of the check in the frame as directed. It's so embarrassing. Is there some adjustment I need to make?
I love the camera on this phone. It is sharp and the color is great. I don't understand why this application is so difficult. Anyone else have this problem? There is no problem with my banks' mobile banking. If there was, my husband would have a problem also. Thanks!

Tap on the screen to get the camera to autofocus.  If the image looks clear to you, but the app isn't accepting it, it's a problem with the app.  Delete it and reinstall it.  If the issue persists, contact the app developer.

    Hello sharon139.
In Safari, click on Safari in the upper left of your screen and then click on Preferences.  Go to the Security tab...... see below.  Select either Never or From third parties......   That should do it.

  • Iphone cannot take pictures

my husband and i use the same apple id, but i am not sure if this is causing a big prob i am having w my iphone. I cannot take pictures without deleteing many of my only 34 pics saved on my phone. it says to manage my storage so i bought more storage but i think if i can somehow change the icloud account to my apple id, this prob would be solved...if this will fix my issue, how do i change that id?

You would create a new ID for yourself to use and set up a new iCloud account. Keep in mind that any apps purchased will not be transferred and will have to be repurchased/redownloaded under the new ID (unless you want to keep putting in the old password when they want to update).

I uploaded my photos to my computer.  I now have all my albums and photo library on my phone.  I cannot get the off my phone and cannot take pictures on my camera.

Connect your phone back and resync except this time uncheck all the albums from itunes when you sync. This will take all the albums off your phone and clear up space on your phone.

  • Cannot take pictures with 5s

Hey Guys, I just got my iPhone 5s yesterday and it works great, except the camera. When I take a picture, it shows on the bottom left corner of the preview box, but when I go to my Camera Roll, it says no pictures are there. I have tried everything but no luck. Please Help.

    Good Morning fouabouo1,
I understand you are not able to take pictures on your iPhone 5S because you are getting an error message regarding memory, is that right?   Just to confirm the data that is used and available  on your iPhone, take a look at the article below:
See how much storage you've used on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support
    https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201656
Are you getting any errors when you try to save other data on your iPhone besides pictures?  For example, are you able to record a voice memo?
Voice Memos at a glance - iPhone
If you can save other data to your iPhone, but not pictures, I would suggest updating your iOS.  Your profile indicates you are using iOS 7.1.  Since the camera app is part of the operating system, I would suggest backing up your iPhone and then updating to iOS 8.2.
Update the iOS software on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support
    https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201656
    Before you update
Back up your device to iCloud or iTunes.
    Update your device wirelessly
The easiest way to update your device is wirelessly, also called “over the air.” Here’s how:
Plug in your device to a power source.
Tap Settings > General > Software Update.
Tap Download and Install. Updates might download automatically while your device is connected to Wi-Fi and a power source.
Tap Install, or tap Later to install the update later. If you use a passcode, you'll need to enter it before installing the update.
If you have some free space, but not enough to update over the air, you can either update using iTunes or delete content manually from your device. Whether you use iTunes or update over the air, you'll have the same amount of free space on your device after you update.
I hope this information helps ....

  • The camera of my Ipone 4 is not focussing and takes blurry pictures up close...

The camera of my Ipone 4 is not focussing and takes blurry pictures up close... I also cannot use apps like i-nigma because it won't recognise the sign.
Can anyone help me with this?

    Hi there Brittney827,
You may find the troubleshooting steps in the article below helpful.

Camera isn't functioning or has undesired image quality
If the screen shows a closed lens or black image, force quit the Camera app.
If you do not see the Camera app on the Home screen, try searching for it in Spotlight. If the camera does not show up in the search, check to make sure that Restrictions are not turned on by tappingSettings > General > Restrictions.
Ensure the camera lens is clean and free from any obstructions. Use a microfiber polishing cloth to clean the lens.
Cases can interfere with the camera and the flash. Try gently cleaning the lens with a clean dry cloth or removing the case if you see image or color-quality issues with photos.
Try turning iPhone off and then back on.
Tap to focus the camera on the subject. The image may pulse or briefly go in and out of focus as it adjusts.
Try to remain steady while focusing:
Still images: Remain steady while taking the picture. If you move too far in any direction, the camera automatically refocuses to the center.
Note: If you take a picture with iPhone turned sideways, it is automatically saved in landscape orientation.
Video: Adjust focus before you begin recording. You can also tap to readjust focus while recording. Exiting the Camera application while recording will stop recording and will save the video to the Camera Roll.
Note: Video-recording features are not available on original iPhone or iPhone 3G.
If your iPhone has a front and rear camera, try switching between them to verify if the issue persists on both.

    Hi julia_smile,
This article has some steps you can try for camera app issues:

  • Cant take pics any more, error message sez "CANNOT TAKE PHOTO"

cant take pics any more, error message sez "CANNOT TAKE PHOTO there is not enogh available storage to take photo. You can manage your storage in Settings." but then I go there and cant do anyhting...?
I believe I have backed up all photos to my computor and I even just now bought more icloud storage for $20.00 a year and still nothing....?
I cant find a way to delete camera roll....?

Guess what? The folks responding to you here are all just users like you, we don't work for Apple, so, you know, your pain is of little interest.
This has been the cause of your problems:
I checked in Iphoto preferences and the box to automatically import photos to Iphoto was unchecked.
What that means is you have connected your camera and iPhoto has imported references to your photos - links, in other words. It did not copy your files into the Library.
Then you took away the camera.
Now iPhoto is looking for the pictures.
You'll need to import the images again - but if you do you'll have masses of duplicates. So, trash the existing library, create a new one and start over.
