Cannot use combe box in IE7 by using jpi

Hi Guys
I got a problem to run oracle form with combo box in IE 7 or higher version.
I just created a data block by using datablock wizard and change one item to list item and set list style to combo box.
And I also set the Application Sever URL to http://L-CAB-344-11:8889/forms/frmservlet*?config=jpi*. (The bold string is what I add after the Default one)
But When I run the form, it shows nothing there. It works fine if I set the list style to Poplist or Tlist.
I checked the version of java:
C:\>java -version
java version "1.6.0_07"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_07-b06)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 10.0-b23, mixed mode, sharing)
and the version of Oracle form builder:
Forms [32 Bit] Version 10.1.2.0.2 (Production)

With the Partitioning, OLAP, Data Mining and Real Application Testing options
I've tried some solution which is share.jar in the archive parameter of the formsweb.cfg and signing the frmall.jar and share.jar with my own certificate.
But it still does not work.
Anyone knows how to solve this problem?

Sorry, but telling you this in detail is not possible for me since its a complex procedure. There is a readme in the patch 5983622 which describes the procedure and the Oracle Support Document 555681.1 can give you a few answers too (if you run into problems).
The MLR and Bundle Patch are not necessary for your case, but both fix quite a lot of smaller problems and bugs. I can really recommend to install the MLR 7482020 though (like I said the Bundle Patch 9593176 changes something for webutil which you should be aware of before installing, so I would advise you to not install this yet, just use the MLR 7482020).
Since you are new to this I want to further recommend to you to NOT just patch your production-environment because its possible to seriously srew up and and up with a non-working system! Try this out on a test-machine beforehand!

Cannot delete file - tried everything - file in use by Windows Explorer error

Hi - I have tried now for 2-3 hours trying to delete an .mkv file from my "Downloads" folder
It says the file is in use by Windows Explorer and cannot be deleted
I have tried deleting it using Del command prompt as me and as Administrator (I am the Admnistrator, there are no other users) - no luck
I have tried Safe Boot and then deleting - no luck
I have tried rebooting many times and then deleting - no luck

hi to all who have this bug- "file in use by Windows Explorer error"
this is the only way that it works:
1.type cmd in search box
2.go to the drive and the directory the file is in ,for example:
after you type cmd you have a black screen with c:\user\
type in the drive the file is in and hit enter example - d: than hit enter
than you should see d:\>
now click the directory the problem file is in ,for example i will call the directory "movies" type in this- cd movies
now you will see this d:\movies>
to delete the file type this: del filename.mkv (dont forget the .mkv or any other file extension) don't hit enter yet, first open task manager (cntrl+shift+esc) go to process tab than right click on explorer.exe choose and click on end process
now your desktop should disappear. get back to the "cmd" window and hit enter.
now the file is deleted. now go back to the task manager and click on "file" on the upper left corner then on new task then type in "explorer.exe"
and you are done
please note that the file name you choose to delete cant be with spaces between the letters .if so you will need to change it in the same way in the cmd window only the comand will be instead of "del filename.mkv"(for example) after you are in the
right drive and directory:
rename "test space.mkv" testspace.mkv

Instead of running a CMD prompt and typing everything, just start up Winrar or Winzip, kill Explorer, then delete problem MKV files to your hearts content within Winrar or Winzip.
Winrar and Winzip will navigate your folders as well.
After you are done, create a new Explorer task.
or..... if you need to rename MKV files, just rename them within Winrar/Winzip with Explorer not running.
I change the MKV extension to AVI (in Winrar with Explorer killed) in order to avoid Explorer issues, if I ever want to move the files in the future without needing to kill Explorer all the time to do so .
Using WinRAR works for me. Using the cmd function becomes complicated when I cannot rename my file with the rename command".

select the cell then open the cell formatter:
process should be similar in the iOS version. I do not have any iOS devices with Numbers so I cannot check. I did find this link that may help:

Using Combo box at the backend

Hi,
I am using combo box at the backend to filter rows to a particular destination.
The problem is the labels are going to populate at the runtime and the selection of item in combo box is also going to populate at the run time. I have an icon which inserts eg: country in a cell, then this cells is used by combo box as a item selection(label) to filter rows from source. But unfortunately the comb box is not selecting any value i.e no item is selected dynamically. But if i manually drill down it is working but the label is not changing dynamically based on the changes in label by icon.
For eg my data:
Country and profit populate at run time
Country          Profit
India               5000
Germany        4000
Now i have icon which selects country (hard coded in excel) upon clicking the mouse on it and inserts in A1 suppose the value hardcoded is "India". Now this A1 is used as a "selected item" for combo box. the source to combo box is the above country and profit which populates at run time.
Now when i execute the dashboard. The value is inserted in A1 after clicking the icon but it is not picked up by combo box as "item selected" and hence combo box does not filter any data.
Can any pls help.

The said functionality should work. Please check your logic one more time. Also, try using some spreadsheet components mapped to the cells in question and understand how the data is flowing during run-time. This will help you test things. Delete spreadsheets when you are done with identifying the issue.
Lets check the combo box mapping one more time : Map the source of the combo to the entire range; labels in the combo box ONLY to the country column in the source range(typically this may be the left most column in the range); selected item should be mapped to the cell that has the destination for the icon and the type for default selection may be dynamic. Well, if there is any hard-coding of values involved anywhere, do check the spellings and other trivial things.

Apple tv using freesat box as hdmi adaptor?

I got apple tv for christmas yesterday but my old Loewe television doesn't have a hdmi port. However, my freesat box does have an hdmi port. Would i be able to use it as an adaptor for my apple tv?

I think there is a 99% chance that the HDMI port on your FreeView box is an output not an input, even if it isn't I think it extremely unlikely that the Freeview box will convert HDMI to analogue.
There are limited options for converting from HDMI
DVI
Some users with DVI have managed to get their TV's to work with DVI-HDMI cables. DVI carries no audio, so alternative connections need to be explored to enable audio. DVI doesn't necessarily support HDCP as well as other standards used by HDMI (which may or may not be an issue)
Analogue
There are hardware converters that will convert HDMI to various other types of output, however there are some issues with doing so that you should be aware of.
HDCP
HDCP compliant converters will not allow you to watch HDCP protected content such as that from the iTunes Store. Non compliant converters exist but we cannot discuss them under the Terms of Use for these communities.
Resolution and aspect ratio
I'm not aware of any converters that will scale the output from the Apple TV, any TV or projector which is used will need to be widescreen and support resolutions of 720p (Apple TV 2), 720p/1080p (Apple TV 3)

I'm having a similar problem. I had previously (over a year ago) purchased 2 episodes of Law & Order. Then about 2 months ago, I purchased the 3rd season of Sons of Anarchy. When I downloaded these episodes to my iPad, about a dozen full seasons of various shows popped up, too. Why do you need to restore your iPod to resync your content back over to it from your iTunes library? You should just be able to configure the content to sync to your device as you did before this problem occurred.

Bug: Numbers File cannot be deleted because it is in use

Whenever I try to delete a Numbers 09 file, I get the error message that the file cannot be deleted because it is in use. I get this without the file being open at all, so it shouldn't be in use and I should be able to delete it.

It's actually a plain and simple file. It contains several sheets, each sheet 1 or 2 tables, but no links to external files nor links within the file from one table to another.
And indeed, I only have it with Numbers files even if I try to delete the file immediately after startup of my computers (iMac and Macbook, both running the same versions of OS X and Numbers). If I try a couple of times, sometimes the file is deleted, but I haven't found out what has changed so that the file can be deleted.

i have a macbook with yosemite running.I also have a wdtv live with a 1tb hdd on it.I could transfer files from my mac to the hdd over wifi with no problem till i upgraded to yosemite.It tells me when i transfer a large file the operation cannot be completed because it is in use.Small files can be transferred with no problem at all.When i transfer them through direct usb to the hdd no problem at all.What can be the solution to this problem???

If there are problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.

Cannot move [MOV filename]: It is in use by another person or program

Hello. I have recently installed version 7.41 of Quicktime for Windows (had the same problem with 7.4). What appears to be happening is that when I boot my computer, without opening any programs, if I go to a location where I have a MOV (Quicktime movie file) file, and try to cut and paste it to another folder it gives me the message:
Cannot move [MOV filename]: It is in use by another person or program. Close any programs that might be using the file and try again.
I have found by using some memory/file monitoring tools that EXPLORER.EXE is opening a handle to the file (accessing it for some reason) and then holding on to that handle thus not allowing me to move the file from one directory to another. By forcing the handles closed, it then allows me to move it, but then immediately maintains it open again, and cannot move it again.
This only happens with QuickTime MOV files. I have renamed the file to another format, just for kicks basically, and it works fine using another extension. I have also reassociated the MOV files with another app, but still has the same issues.
I have not run or any applications before this point and especially not anything related to QuickTime. Does anyone have any insight into what might be happening?

I am having the exact problem when I try to rename or move the MOV file. I use Unlocker to determine which process is locking the MOV file and like you have said: it is the Explorer process.
I hope there will be a patch for this problem soon and if you know of any solution, please inform me.
