Cannot use drop down menue of app store screen becoming blank
having problem to access drop down menue of app store i mean options under app store when selected the screen goes blank
same here...everything else works though (i.e. music, books, movies, tv shows, etc.)
However, if I search for a particular app by using the search field, the results show and I can then click on the result and access the app that way.
It's been like this for the past 2 days.

since I upgraded to os x maverick when I try to close with cmd + q from the drop-down menu the app store and I IMOVE reopen continuously.
2 GB of RAM is pretty tight. I imagine that's at the very low end of what Yosemite wants, which could slow things down.
As far as scroll direction, you can always change it in the trackpad settings. Unsure why it got flipped, but you can fix it in about 5 seconds. Choose "natural" (or don't) depending on how you like it. -

When using certain sites like Linkedin Firefox seems to bug out, for example drop down menu's do not work and oddly enough when I reply to any email Firefox seems to be unable to register who I am replying too, this was fine until last weekend. I have tried reinstalling Firefox and checking add-ons nothing seems to work, other browsers like GC and IE work fine,

OliverPlease see if the sites you are having problems with work in Firefox's safe mode. Exit Firefox then Start > All Programs > Mozilla Firefox > Mozilla Firefox (safe-mode).

Use drop-down menu to control plot visibility
Hello everyone,
I have simple data reading program that loads and parses a text file containing tab-delimited data. Currently, they are parsed and plotted in 7 separate graphs. I am trying to reduce this to 3 graphs where the user can select from a drop-down menu what they would like to be displayed.
Eg. Graph 1 would have choices data A, B and C; Graph 2 would have data D, E, F and etc
The user would select on the drop-down box data A on graph 1 and data F on graph 2.
Is there an easy way to this? I have read some ideas about plot visibility.

ThomasEach plot on a chart has its own Plot Visible property. One easy solution is to graph all the data, then set the visibility property for each line based on the selection from the drop-down menu. To set visibility for an individual plot, first set the Active Plot property to the plot that you want, then set the Visible property. You can do this in a single property node; make sure that the Active Plot property is at the top (property nodes execute in top-to-bottom order, and can be mixed read and write).

Drop down menu on right mouse click is blank....
Lately when clicking the right mouse button the drop down menu has been blank. Can't save pics, links, cut or paste.... Not good... Help...
If you have a remedy to this issue, please reply to <email removed - c>Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.

Contacts drop-down menu blocked by on screen keyboard in text messages
Whenever I draft a new text message I put the cursor in the contact box and type the first letter of the name of the person I am trying to contact. If I have more than 3 people in my phone whose names start with that letter, the drop down menu becomes partially obscured by the on screen keyboard. If I attempt to scroll down on the menu, it selects whomever I happen to press. My attempts to minimize the keyboard have been futile. I understand I can work around this by going into contacts and selecting someone to text, but the problem is pretty aggravating. Please help!

Quit the app store app completely and restart the iPad. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar. Restart the iPad.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Or try this as well. Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. -
I cannot use my apple ID in Apps Store
It always asks me for Credit card, but I don't have a Credit Card. My friends told me that I can still use it to download free Apps. There is no "None" option located in the credit card selection. I am from Philippines.
I tried, but the "None" in the Billing information is not available as shown in the photo.

Genius screen won't close down on main app store screen
Have now turned off genius in App Store but despite clicking on 'done' it won't close down. Any suggestions as the App Store now cannot be accessed?
I just turned on Genius for Apps and am having the same problem; no matter how many times I touch close, the screen doesn't close. Therefore, I cannot access the App Store. Can anyone help with this?

I have a mac which doesn't support the new itunes. The instructions I have from apple say that I have to use a pull down store menu from the itunes store and then I should be able to view my account and cancel by turning off the auto renew button next to itune match, The only trouble is I can't see the itune match at all.
Turning off the auto-renew does not cancel the service. To actually cancel, or turn off the service, you need to contact iTunes Store support. What the instructions are are getting is telling you to do is to cancel the auto-renew. You can accomplish that by, in iTunes:
1. Pull down the Store menu and select "view account."
2. Enter your credentials when prompted.
3. In the middle of the page click the hightlight button: -

You may not really be connected to your WiFi network.
Your router may not have given your iPad a valid IP address. Go to Settings > Wifi > your network name and touch the ">" to the right to see the network details. If the IP address starts with 169 or is blank then your router didn't provide an IP address and you won't be able to access the Internet.
Sometimes the fix can be as simple as restarting your router (remove power for 30 seconds and restart). Next, reset network settings on your iPad (Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings) and then attempt to connect. In other cases it might be necessary to update the router's firmware with the latest from the manufacturer's support web pages.
If you need more help please give more details on your network, i.e., your router make, model and version, the wifi security being used (WEP, WPA, WPA2), etc.
