Cannot view instance following failover

Question

Following a failover to our backup server yesterday we are unable to view the current database within OEM. Both databases have the same SID with different hosts. Both hosts and listeners are listed in OEM Preferred Credentials, but only one database/instance is entered. I am looking to either add the second instance to the Preferred Credentials OR modify the OEM to point to the current database until original server is back on-line. While familiar with OEM, have not used in this type of environment. Thanks.

If you cannot see the seconday database in preferred credentials it has not been 'discovered'.
I reiterate:
"When you view the targets for the seconday host, you cannot see the database on that host? Is that right?
If so, you simply need to add your database target for that host. It does not matter that you two databases with the same sid on different hosts."
To add a target:
Go to setup, click on agents, click on the agent for the seconday host, add database instance. Oem will then perform a target discovery and after that you should be given the option to add the seconday database.
