Cant cancel auto renewal of online skype number

Cant cancel auto renewal of online skype number as per FAQ. 
Its not cool that skype has changed the setting to require you to cancel the online number or you get auto renewed. Then as per the FAQ one of the links is inactive.

Also I was wondering why my online number would not allow calls through.
As per the FAQ it says that I need to enable all numbers to call my to avoid blocked numbers not in my contacts list. 
Unfortunately the same link is u/s.
I have been a customer for about 4 years and am now withdrawing all auto payments and moving to viber.
I would also like to point out that since ios 6 the iphone app is unstable.

    I have been charged for 3 months auto subscription. I bought skype no for 3 months only and had used for around 2 months only. Still I have a credit balance of $7. However, credit card is debited with $18 today for another 3 months subscription. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx without any intimation to the customer. I have cancelled my skype number and as per refund policy of skype if we are not using the services, amount shall be credited back to the account.
    There is no customer service to share any grievances.

    Your account shows that you have been charged correctly. A subscription to a product sets up a recurring payment. This ceases when you cancel the product. If you have canceled you won't be  charged again. Cancellation is effective on the next renewal date and you can use your Skype Number until then.

    On an iPad :

This link http://www.adobe.com/go/revel_my_subscriptions_en. is not a link to cancel subscriptions, it's a link that takes me to a page that says I have to cancel using my iPhone, but since I don't have an iPhone, that's not very helpful. The information on using my computer to cancel via Apple ID is also useless, since my subscription does not appear.
    The link which says "call support" only takes me to the support page, which then takes me to the page talking about iPhones again.

  • HELP!!!!!! I cannot renew my annual Skype Number s...

    I am sorry to bother you with this but after 15 minutes of searching I could not find any support number, email address or anything for Skype. Is this true??????? A paid service with no support? Just a bunch of FAQ items that does not help?
    The problem is: I have some Skype Numbers. Before they expire, I usually receive a warning and then I go there and manually pay $60 to extend them for another year. At least this is how it worked in the past.
    Now I received an email saying that my automatic payment (whaaaaat???) failed and my Skype Number will expire within 2 days.
    The problems are:
    1. I have never asked them to debit my account automatically.
    2. And especially not with $18 which is 3 months only. I want another year.
    3. Nothing changed with my credit cars do why did it fail?
    4. Where have all the manual payment options gone???????
    There is no button or any option to pay manually. It only allows me to change the payment method. There is no way I can pay the annual fee.
    Is this a Microsoft trick so that I will lose my number? Can anyone help me as apparently there is no support for Skype but a bunch of useless FAQ items. I pay for this service but I cannot get help.
    Anyone, please, help. I do not want this to expire. This is the number my mother calls me at from the other side of the planet. This is VERY important to me. This is the only way she can contact me. Please, help.

    Hi,
    As I understand it, the process is simply to cancel the three-month subscription (you can do this via your account or by contacting Skype Customer Service).  You will not lose your current Skype Number; it will be held for you for 90 days following the end of the current subscription term).  Then, after the subscription expires, sign on to your account and renew your Skype Number for the term you wish.  If you wish to cover the cost using Skype Credit, ensure there is enough credit on account prior to renewing.

    As you know you intend to contact Customer Service, skip past Step 2 of the instruction where several articles from the FAQ library will appear for you to review, and proceed to Step 3, Continue Support Request (the "button" appears at the lower right corner of the website page).     Hi All, I just need to vent my frustration with this companies policy!! In 2010 I registered for LogMeIn Pro for 10 Computers. The past yesr or so I have hardly touched or logged into LogMeIn so I decided I would cancel the service. I attempted to cancel this service and was advised that I had just "Auto-Renewed" for another 12 months. THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE JOKE!!!! I now have to continue to pay on a monthly basis even though I didnt agree to this 12 month renewal. Such a terrible policy put in place and a great way to lose customers. I own an IT consulting company and quite often use to recommend LogMeIn to my clients. I will NEVER make that recommendation again. Has anyone else been caught out by this??? Regards Matt

    I too experienced the auto renewal trick.  My card I used to open a LogMeIn subscription was compromised online and the bank issued me a completely different card with a different number and expiration date. Lo and behold, LogMeIn billed the renewal of the service on the new card which they supposedly had no knowledege of. I had paid for another separate subscription with the new card and LogMeIn apparently searched their system for my name and charged the renewal on the new card. On the invoice it even listed the last four digits of the new card. This practice should be highly illegal. LogMeIn did not send any email notification to the email the account was set up with regarding renewal, credit card issue, etc, they just billed the new card. I just happened to be checking my credit card statement online and called LogMeIn and got a refund because it was the same day that the service was supposed to renew. The rep assured me that LogMeIn does not search their system for any cards in the name of the billing for the service. Really?  I am sure that my bank did not give LogMeIn the information on the newly issued card. I did not give LogMeIn permission to use the newly issued account for any charges. I too will be looking for another vendor for remote access.
