Cant receive email using outlook 2007

Hello,
I downloaded outlook 2007 and its not working correctly.
I am able to send out emails, but I cant receive anything back.
I have the latest outlook connector (

Any ideas why its acting this way.

Hmm as far as I remember this is not the last version of the connector out there, please check on metalink, I'm currently runing a .9 version (and I'm only using outlook for testing purpose, so I could also be outdated !)

I am having trouble in receiving emails using outlook. I only some on my ipad but receive them on my PC!

We worked with Microsoft on this issue and updating our DirSync set-up solved the issue.
We are running a hybrid setup with Exchange 2010 locally talking to O365. We had set this up as a fairly standard Sync but did not enable hybrid when we set it up as it didn't seem warranted based upon our needs.
Our set up had been running fine for over a year and suddenly this issue cropped up. The MS engineers determined that Outlook would talk with our exchange and since we didn't have the Hybrid Sync happening, for some reason it wasn't passing on the Cloud
Exchange address when the mailbox wasn't found on the local Exchange 2010 server.
Nothing was explained as to why only accounts with Resource Account ownership were experiencing this issue, but updating our DirSync server and setting it to Hybrid did solve the issue. Curiosity is less important than my time so I'm moving on...

Cant receive emails from outlook

Need help please....cant receive emails on my iphone from my outlook....send is fine. i have talked with the cust service people and we had it working and then it just stopped...i dont get it but im sure its very simple. i have tried deleting and adding account again but doesnt seem to work....any suggestions?

Any error message provided when the account is checked for new messages with your iPhone?
Do you leave Outlook on your computer launched and running actively checking the account for new messages while your iPhone is doing the same?
If so, this can pose a problem. Although it is possible to access a POP account with more than one email client, a POP account is designed to be accessed with a single email client only. Only one email client at a time can be communicating with the incoming mail server - checking the account for new messages and/or downloading new messages received at the incoming mail server.
If Outlook is launched and running, quit Outlook to see if this makes any difference with your iPhone.

Delayed received emails Using Outlook 2010 and Exchange Server 2010 SP3

Hi,
Some of our users are encountering delayed emails. When our clients sent email to us, some of our clients received this an hour late, sometimes they will received this the next day.
Our users uses Outlook 2010 and our Exchange Server is 2010. We have already patch this to SP3 as it says that the delayed emails was already fixed in this SP3 but we still encounter the delayed emails.

Hi Collins,
In order to narrow down this issue, please use OWA to send and receive a test email, see whether the delay will still happen or not.
From your description, the issue happens when certain users receive emails from internal. I recommend you use message tracking log to determine which step delays.

Can't receive emails from Outlook 2007...

It was fine until around mid May, then just got error message saying Cant access server, check your Mail settings are correct - but all is correct and unchanged from previous... Have shut down iPad and restarted, have close Outlook and tried test emails and downloading to iPad, have checked settings with server. It seems to Send fine, just not download! Have POP setup, however, often out PC Outlook is closed and therefore we should be getting emails on iPad, and were fine before mid May. Very frustrating!

Want to use email alias (forwarded) as the reply email instead of the default email Using Outlook 2007 with Google apps

I have one main email address using Google apps and 3 alias email addresses within the same domain (I believe Google calls these accounts group accounts). I would like my replies to appear to come from the alias whenever an email is received through
it. Is there a setting to do this automatically. Currently I use 3 separate accounts on Outlook where everything is filled as if the alias account is a real account except for the username and password - where I fill it out with my real email login info.
I then had to disable these 3 accounts from the RECEIVE group (under send/receive) and make sure I use the "account" drop down when I'm replying and pick the correct the email alias. The problem is that I usually forget to pick one or pick
the wrong one. If there a setting that would do this automatically it would be a life saver and probably a job saver too :-). I would even take an Outlook Addin...if there is such a thing.

buttons on the ribbon so I wouldn't click them by mistake. The only change (besides the obvious changes) I added a line "strRecip = LCase(strRecip)" because I noticed the Macro would not work correctly if the person used uppercase when typing the email
address...for example if they typed it as [email protected] it would work fine but if they typed it as [email protected] or [email protected] or even the domain itself it would NOT work. With this addition everything works! I'll post this on the
bottom of the macro link too...I would have typed it there directly but you probably don't visit that page very often and I wanted to make sure you got my response.

I can send but not receive email using Outlook

Hi all,
I have had an iPhone 5C for about a year. I recently deleted my email account after being hacked, after which I received around 45 thousand bounceback emails in the space of 12 hours. It was too hard to receive them, 500 at a time on my iPhone, and go through them all to delete just the spam-related messages, so my solution was to delete my account altogether, delete all the offending messages in bulk from my desktop, and then reinstate the account.
Now that my Outlook email is set up again, I am finding that I can send emails again, but I can no longer receive.
I have checked around a few forums but I don't seem to get the same screen that others get, after they go to:
Settings
Mail Contacts Calendars
Select my email account
This is all I see. I cannot find an option for selecting incoming/outgoing servers. Any suggestions would be gratefully accepted.

Here is what I would try -
Run the disk permissions utility....see if a repair works....
On the mail menu, go to Window => Connection Doctor - do you see errors (red dot) If so, what does it say the error is caused by?

No. You really can't do that. Not easily at any rate. You would have to set them both up to use POP3, but even then there is no way to guarantee that the phone won't poll the server prior to your computer doing so, pulling down the message from the server.

For your work email, do you use a well known server or do you use their own server? Their server IMAP and SMTP addresses might of changed or you entered them in wrong. It might be something with your router but unless you blocked every incoming connection, then it should work. I would talk to your tech guys at work to see if it is on their end.

all emails i receive will be duplicated. There is no common sender for those affected emails. Usually when i received email from my Outlook 2010 the email in Outlook Web Access will be gone. But this time round for those affected duplicating emails, it still
can be found in the Outlook Wed Access. Any solution for this problem? Currently
I would need to go into the Outlook Web Access to delete the affected email then the duplication will be stop. Or I would need to cancel the Send/Receive & restart Outlook. But this 2 method is only temporary solution. The problem will keep coming
back.

I think you are working with a POP3 account and issue of replicated emails in Outlook is common in the case of POP3 connection. So, first of all uncheck the
“Leave a copy of messages on the server” option and see the results.
Also, see the TasK Manager, if there are multiple “Outlook.exe” are running under the
“Processes” tab, then end the unnecessary programs as each of them downloading the same email multiple times.
Apart from it, if there are numbers of factors behind the replication of emails in Microsoft Outlook such as:
Rules (Exploiated Rules)
Scanning Programs Integration
Damaged Outlook Profile

I am trying to add a work email to outlook 2007, using web access with a https://company address here/ the company provided me with, I have been googling this for some time and can't seem to find any relevant answer to this. this closest I have found
is that it may be a configuration problem with Outlook 2007, but there is no mention of a fix.

Clients cant receive emailes

hallow, I just created a few user accounts in exchange server 2007 and put then in group but these users can sent emails but they cants receive emails, I removed them from active directory then recreate them again in AD and make new mailbox in exchange server
again and the same issue cant receive emails. I made another group and I put one of the user in that group but the same thing happen.
I have more than 1000 users and all working fine, and its internal mail.

According to the description, my understanding as below:
1. There are more than 1000 users on the Exchange server and working well by themselves.
2. Creating few users (working well by themselves) and adding them to a DL. If a user send emails to the DL, the DL cannot receive.
3. Re-creating users and DL, however the issue remained.
Please correct me if there is any misunderstanding.
Suggestions:
1. Please verify whether this issue occur in OWA.
2. Please verify whether the sender can find the DL from GAL via OWA.
3. Please try to compare the attribute on DL and normal user, especially the LegacyExchangeDN, Mail, ProxyAddresses, EmailAddresses, PrimarySmtpAddress via ADSIEdit.msc.
4. Please double check whether you have settings on Message Delivery Restriction on the DL.
5. If you have a large environment with multi-DCs, it seems a Replication issue between DCs. I suggest restarting the Microsoft Exchange System Attendant Services after creating the DL.
6. When the DL didn't receive the message, did the sender receive a NDR? If yes, please paste the details without sensitive information for the further troubleshooting.

I have BIS but can't surf, send/receive email, use apps

i have BB Curve 8520. My BIS was running smoothly (sending and receiving emails real time and surfing the net through BIS), until i noticed when i tried to reply to an email that came in, it won't send. i noticed that it's fluctuating. i was able to send the email after a few minutes... then a few minutes later, i received a replied email from my friend, and when i tried to send my reply, i wasn't able to. also, i can't surf using the browser with the "internet browser" as default. i tried using my wifi and then suddenly all my emails started coming in, all emails that were not able to go through hours ago. my big question was why do i need to turn on wifi just to receive emails. but since i had my BIS for 2 months now, i can send and receive emails and surf through BIS itself without turning on the wifi. also, i can't use any of my apps like facebook, twitter, yahoo messenger, etc. They used to work fine with BIS... but now, i have to turn on the wifi connection, so i could log in with them. aren't these supposed to be running through BIS only?
I have GPRS on top, not gprs. my carrier says i have active data plan/BIS. but under Services Status..it says Blackberry Internet Service: Connection: not connected...
so, i wiped out my BB and deleted all third party apps. when this was done, i received emails telling me "Your handheld has been registered with the wireless network" and even got "Activation Server" emails telling me that the emails that i have previously set up are now up and running. so i thought my BB is now ok.. i tried surfing, it was okay. after like about 5 minutes, it was down again. tried sending email but can't... i turned on the wifi and boom! the emails started coming in again.i have the Host Routing Tables and my Service Books in my BB. I have GPRS (not gprs) on top which means i have active BIS. i have registered my HRTs several times... and resending my service books... same thing...
the big mystery is when i turn on the wifi, the emails suddenly go through and i can send emails. i can open apps that used to only run on BIS. this is ok i guess, but i could never do any of these if i'm not connected to wifi.
my sister and i have the same BB... i removed my sim and inserted it to her BB and the BIS worked fine... i was able to surf and use apps.. but when i put my sim back on my phone, the problem still exists. i even used a different sim card that is also subscribed to BIS/data plan, and it still has the same problem... my guess is my carrier is right that my data plan is working ok and that my handheld itself has the problem...
i updated my OS, same problem.. wiped it out... used BBSAK, reinstalled OS... numerous battery pulls... same thing... i can receive the HRTs and service books, but after that can't do anything else like i used to... (send/receive emails, use apps like facebook, twitter, ym, etc., can't surf with internet browser - except when wifi is on everything else work fine even emails and apps)..
