When I upload photos from my phone to computer Cant seem to make photoshop default to open photos in Windows. Its defaulting to Adobe and I changed settings, still not working. Even when I press preview on photo and they open in windows photo viewer I cannot save the file to my computer. I have Photoshop CS4

You have indicated you did a restore with no affect. You don't mention specifically if it is not working with multiple applications or not. I have had one or two apps that quit recognizing the tilt. If it is just one or two apps, delete and re-download/install those apps. If it is with all apps, then you are indeed looking at a trip to Apple to get it fixed. How do I embed a pdf document into an existing pdf so that the user double clicks on the pdf object within the pdf and it opens? i've looked everywhere on various forums and tried attachments - but still not working. Thanks

I've tried various methods but to no avail. I have a pdf document and within the pdf I'd like to embed a couple pdf documents so that all the user has to do is double click on the pdf object inside the pdf and it opens in a new window. I've tried using attachments to do it and linking it...but to no avail. Anyone know how to do? I'm using Acrobat Pro Version 11. Thanks

The "embed" feature common to MS Office applications is not applicable to PDF (for the why and wherefore of PDF get comfortable and read the ISO Standard for PDF - ISO 32000-1:2008).
You can insert other PDF files' pages into any given PDF.
You can attach files of supported formats to a PDF (of course a PDF is supported).
You cannot "embed". So, nothing is broken.

In Lion, the default of pressing a link on a web page, is to open the page in a new tab. In itself, I do like this because this is what I did for 19 out of any 20 links, which I command+clicked in previous Safari versions.
However, there is a snag to this behaviour. Most (all?) secure site do not like links to be opened in a new tab. For example, when I am doing Web banking, The the linked page doesn’t open in new tab. Rather I get a page telling me my login session is expired. Probably a security measure instituted by my bank.
I since found out, that a command-click opens lings in the same window. Theoretically that solves the problem, if I would think about this all the time. I don't. Old habits die slowly.

I got it figured out today, basically you have to load the Parallel Flash Loader first into FPGA ram. It is a special .sof file (pfl_epXXXX.sof) based on your FPGA. Code is actually pretty straight forward, using the Sys Exec VI. Use the windows based programmer to generate the .cdf file that identifies your FPGA, attached Flash and .pof file .
Syntax was odd going into Sys Exec. Note the extra "C" in in front of the "quartus_prm.exe" I have no idea why that was needed, but I was getting an error until I just happened to put it in there (Blind Luck :-))
I used a 2 element array going into a four loop
cmd /cquartus_pgm.exe -c USB-BLASTER -m JTAG -o P;pfl_epXXXX.sof
cmd /cquartus_pgm.exe -c USB-BLASTER -m JTAG S_FPGA.cdf
Defining the working director C:\altera\12.1sp1\qprogrammer\bin
And added match string with "Successfully performed operation" on the output in the loop to make sure everything loaded correctly then adding the array to give me a overall P/F
To anyone doing this same thing Altera's documentation is poor to say the least. It took most of a week to figure this out Not allowed to upload code, so anyone wanting details just post here and I will try to help. This was painful, with lots of lessons learned.

Is there a way I can make Messages pop up chats in new windows by default like iChat used to ? I really hate the new way all of my chats are in one window and I have to manually open them in a new window. I miss having them pop up in a new window as people contact me.

The Chats can be double clicked off the Messages window into a separate window and then the Messages window closed.
What can't be done is to start the chats in new windows.
It also pays not to use th DOCK icon to "read" new messages when the DOCK badge shows as this reopens the Mesages main window.

On adobe.com it shows that the serial number I received is associated with adobe photoshop elements 9 and premiere elements 9. I have purchased those products in the past, but just recently upgraded to elements 12. I can use the the photoshop organizer, but can't open the photoshop editor.

You need to contact Adobe Support either by chat or via phone when you have serial number and activation issues.

This is essentially paulbruster's answer, but I've added the steps some might assume, but which aren't so obvious to those of us who are new at this, like me.
This solution might ''appear'' to be long and complicated, but after you follow the directions once, you'll find it's quick, clean, and simple. Almost like they designed it this way.
# If you haven't already, open a bunch of tabs on a few different subjects.
# Click the List All Tabs button on the right side of the tab strip.
# Select Tab Groups.
# Create a few groups as described [http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/what-are-tab-groups#w_how-do-i-create-a-tab-group here] , i.e. just drag them out of the main thumbnail group into the new groups they create.

I'm having the same issue. I enable the card in performance, trying to open an obj afterwards and I'm getting an error message that opengl needs to be enabled. When i restart the program it opens and immediately does the "looking for solution" thing and crashes. Then the next start up the hardware is disabled. Any help would be great...
