Capture SY-UCOMM from IC Web Client in SAP R/3

Hi Experts,
I have a requirement in which i am Changing Requested Delivery Date in CRM IC Web Client, when i save the Sales Order in CRM IC Web Client , Based on date the Corresponding Field in VBAK-KVGR2 has to be Updated.
When the Order is created through IC Web Client , the User Exit USEREXIT_CHECK_VBAK is triggered and i have put a condition SY-TCODE is initial and T180-TRTYP = 'V'  and then Checking SY-UCOMM = SICH  currently the SY-UCOMM is getting cleared and because of this i am not able to change the VBAK-KVGR2 field.
Is there any other way to capture the SAVE button Command from IC Web Client in USEREXIT_CHECK_VBAK .

  • Invoking a SyncAsync Process from a Web Client

    I implemented a SyncAsync pattern as documented on the BEA website which allowed me to invoke an async process from a stateless process.
    This works as a syncasync wsdl gets generated and is used by the stateless invoker process to form a web service control to invoke the async process.
    What i would like to do now is call the async process via its syncasync wsdl from a web client. Does anyone know how to create a web service client from the syncasync wsdl which I can use from a web client ?

  • How  to Find the Web client in SAP MDM server

    HI
    MDME4J_Ver5.5.15.00 ,MDMD COM This Two fileare there  in Server, used for Installing Webclient...
        Can Any body give more information on this, I am very new to this ...
    Thanks In Advance..
    Regards
    Guruva

    Hi Guruva,
    As explained in previous posts, there is no readymade web client available in MDM 5.5.
    If you use MDME4J_Ver5.5.15.00, then you should build your own application using the MDME4J.jar file. This jar file consists of library classes and methods which can be used for connecting, retrieving and updating records etc to/from MDM repository. It is a java programmer's responsibility to use this jar file and build a custom web Client.
    If you use MDM COM, it is a VB programmer's job to explore this COM API and build a custom web Client.
    You can use any of the above APIs to build your web client based on your skillset.
    Hope this information is useful !

  • S_DEVELOP authorization needed for CRM Web Client in SAP CRM 7.0?

    We implemented an own WebUI component in SAP CRM 2007 and use it in others components (with USAGE).
    After we transport the component in SAP CRM 7.0 we always got an error CX_BSP_DLC_CONFIG_GENERAL_ERR at loading the component. But if we set the permission to SAP_ALL all thing work fine.
    In SAP Note Nr. 1367944 we read:
    "It is not possible to run the CRM Web Client without the S_DEVELOP, activity=03
    authorization because it is needed by the Web Client Framework.
    The S_DEVELOP authorizatin is part of the SAP_CRM_UIU_FRAMEWORK PFCG role, which must
    be assigned to every user."
    "This dependency has been removed in CRM 7.0."
    Do we need to install some other SAP Notes at SAP CRM 7.0?
    Many thanks for advices!
    Handri Gunawan

    Hi Handri,
    I asked my collegue here, who created the note.
    The note is correct, in CRM 7.0 you do not need S_DEVELOP anymomre.
    The error that you have might occur because of another reason.
    Could you track the call stack of this exception?
    And send me back the call stack?
    Regards,
    Steve

  • Capture a string from a web page

    Is it possible after opening a web browser to capture a string and bring it into LabVIEW?  I want to open our company's intranet web page, go to our employee locator facility, capture an email address, and import it into a LabVIEW ap.  Will this work?  I've opened the browser; now I just need to know how to capture the string. If i just try copy/paste, it obviously won't work.  Any suggestions?

    Take a look at this example. With this you just need to parse the HTML.

  • Capture xml files from the web site

    We recieve cxml purchase order files from various clients . our clients use Ariba that send the cxml files through emails. Now we would like to give a certain website address so that they can upload the cxml files directly on our website. Now how do I extract the files after they are uploaded on our website. because I need to know where exactly on our server will the files that are uploaded are saved.
    Thanks for all ur help.

  • Null Values From MS Web Services Toolkit Client

    Hi,
    I've been bashing my head against a wall on this one for too long now.
    I've got a JAX-WS web service deployed to Glassfish v2 b33 which works fine when called by a Java client. It also works fine when methods with no parameters are called from the MS client, i.e. simple and complex types are returned as they should be. However the problem I am having is that when the web service methods that take parameters are called from the MS client, the values received by the service are always null. I've montitored the service and values are being sent in the soap request, but a simple System.out.println statement in the first line of the method indicates a null value. I've captured a request from the Java client and the MS client to show the difference:
    A java request:
    <soapenv:Envelope
         xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"
         xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
         xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
        <soapenv:Header/>
        <soapenv:Body>
         <ns0:getConfig xmlns:ns0="http://ws.firestorm.alternativenetworks.com/">
                 <arg0>Inbound</arg0>
         </ns0:getConfig>
        </soapenv:Body>
    </soapenv:Envelope>and a request from the web services toolkit:
    <SOAP-ENV:Envelope
         xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"
         xmlns:SOAPSDK1="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
         xmlns:SOAPSDK2="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
         xmlns:SOAPSDK3="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/">
         <SOAP-ENV:Header/>
         <SOAP-ENV:Body>
               <SOAPSDK4:getConfig xmlns:SOAPSDK4="http://ws.firestorm.alternativenetworks.com/">
              <SOAPSDK4:arg0>Inbound</SOAPSDK4:arg0>
         </SOAPSDK4:getConfig>
         </SOAP-ENV:Body>
    </SOAP-ENV:Envelope>I've tried everything I can think of, including changing the style from RPC/LITERAL to DOCUMENT/LITERAL, but the Java web service just seem to like the way the SOAP message is wrapped up.
    Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
    Cheers
    Tony

    Thanks Milan, your suggestion put me on the right track, however I've hit another snag.
    I decided the best way to solve the problem was to use the Glassfish Transformation Rules feature to take the SOAP request and transform it to a valid format before reaching the code. The XSLT file I created looks like this (I'm no XSLT guru so this will definitely need some tidying up, but for now it works): <?xml version="1.0" encoding="ISO-8859-1"?>
    <xsl:stylesheet  version="1.0"
         xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform"
         xmlns:SOAP-ENV="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/"
         xmlns:SOAPSDK1="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
         xmlns:SOAPSDK2="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"
         xmlns:SOAPSDK3="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/encoding/">
         <xsl:output method="xml" indent="yes"/>
         <xsl:template match="*">

  • Workitem - Vanishes and capturing sy-ucomm

    Hello,
    I have new to workflow area and have couple of questions. I have browsed through the documentation and could not get clear answers.
    1.     I am sending a workitem to user, User is supposed to open it and approve/reject. If for user some reason does not do both and exit out of the screen workitems is vanishing from user inbox. How to fix this issue?
    2.     I want to capture sy-ucomm from in the screen of workitem to workflow method and export it to next step. How to do this.
    3.     Can I pass more than I parameter to my rule? If yes how and what code should I write to retrieve the values.
    Thanks
    Nani.

    If your work item (step) uses a synchronous dialog task the work item is reserved when it is started, not completed.
    Unfortunately SAP does not alert the application when the user closes a window using the window menu (or close button that you refer to). This should definitely have lead to some form of syst-ucomm, but it doesn't. I have had the same problem, and user training is the only solution. My experience is that the work item is reserved, as mentioned. My guess is that you have an asynchronous task without terminating events. This will be completed as soon as it is executed.
    If you want behaviour to be different you have to either use an asynchronous task with terminating events, use a synchronous task or do some other trick (although I can't really think of any now).
    Message was edited by Kjetil Kilhavn:
    Darn... just saw that your later update says the work item does not actually vanish. My comments are still valid though, but perhaps not as helpful as they would have been if I had answered sooner.
    What you should do if the user doesn't complete his processing and leaves using the "Back" or "Exit" or "Cancel" menu options/toolbar buttons is to raise the cancelled exception in your business object. You do this by using the statement "exit_cancelled." The work item will then be kept in the user's inbox in a reserved status.

    Hi All,
    Could anyone please share the steps what have to be followed for capture an image using the web camera from a web application.
    I have a similar requirement like this,
    1) Detect the Webcam on the users machine from the web application.(To be more clear when the user clicks on 'Add Photo' tool from the web application)
    2) When the user confirms to save, save the Image in users machine at some temporary location with some unique file name.
    3) Upload the Image to the server from the temporary location.
    Please share the details like, what can be used and how it can be used etc...
    Thanks,

    1) Detect the Webcam on the users machine from the web application.(To be more clear when the user clicks on 'Add Photo' tool from the web application)There's not really any good way to do this with JMF. You'd have to somehow create a JMF web-start application that will install the native JMF binaries, and then kick off the capture device scanning code from the application, and then scan through the list of devices found to get the MediaLocator of the web cam.
    2) When the user confirms to save, save the Image in users machine at some temporary location with some unique file name.You'd probably be displaying a "preview" window and then you'd just want to capture the image. There are a handful of ways you could capture the image, but it really depends on your situation.
    3) Upload the Image to the server from the temporary location.You can find out how to do this on google.
    All things told, this application is probably more suited to be a FMJ (Freedom for Media in Java) application than a JMF application. JMF relies on native code to capture from the web cams, whereas FMJ does not.
    Alternately, you might want to look into Adobe Flex for this particular application.

  • Slow response when calling a web service from an ADF client in JDev 11g

    I have generated a web service (WS) for a stored procedure package with 3 functions. The WS has less than 1 second response times when I use the standard WS testing facility. I then created a data control for the WS selecting the default values in the JDev wizard. When I test the functions from a very basic ADF client the response times for the same functions are between 3-4 seconds i.e. very SLOW compared to the actual response time of WS. I need some advice on how to investigate this performance degredation as seen from the ADF client.
    Could the problem be that the data control was created from a web service in the same project? Maybe it is necessary to have them in separate projects or create a proxy?
    I created and tested the web service with the standard WS test tool and then simply went on to create a data control from this web service for use from a ADF client.
    Some background info:
    I saw the following warning in step 8 of the WS creation wizard:
    "The configured policy store location at "C:\Oracle\Middleware\jdeveloper\j2ee\home\gmds" is invalid. Application cannot read policies from this location. Check that the directory name is correct and the location exists."
    Also I can confirm that there is no j2ee directory in my environment.
    The application server logs the following for each call from the ADF client:
    009-apr-01 15:55:22 oracle.adf.model.connection.webservice.impl.WebServiceConnectionMessages debugGetSaajInteraction

    Find solution. Check this thread:
    https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/wiki?path=/display/wdjava/faq%2b-%2bmodels%2b-%2badaptive%2bweb%2bservice
    The com.sap.tc.webdynpro.model.webservice.api.IWDWSInvocationModifier interface can be implemented by an application using the Adaptive Web Service model in order to modify the web service invocation object just before it's execution. Invocation modifiers need to be registered with the executable model class for which invocation is to be modified:
    Request_NumberToWords requestMO = new Request_NumberToWords(model);
    requestMO.wdSetInvocationModifier(
      new IWDWSInvocationModifier() {
        public void doModifyInvocation(Object port) {
          HTTPControlInterface httpItf = HTTPControlFactory.getInterface(port);
          //timeout for this WS invocation is 120 sec; don't use global config. setting of WS-Runtime
          httpItf.setSocketTimeout(120000);
        public void doModifyAfterInvocation() {}
    Best regards.

  • How to select from multiple addresses of account in IC Web Client

    Hi all,
    We are implementing a B2C scenario for IC Web Client. We have customers with multiple addresses. However, when we search the acount, only standard address comes to screen.  We want to be able select the related address, and then confirm the acount with that address.
    Is there any way to customize the Web Client in order to be able to select from multiple addresses of the acount?
    Thanks in advance.

    Thanks for the answer. Yes, we are using 7.0 but in the account identification screen, there is no personalize button ( I assume you are suggesting adding an addres block by using that button, right?).
    We checked the necessary customizing : there is an entry for fucntional profile PERSONALIZATION : ALL_ENABLED.
    Should we do something else to show the button?
    Thanks again.

  • Capturing images from two web camera in real time

    Hi,
    I need to compare two pictures from two webcameras. I will make some easy computing on them, so there should be no speed problem, but i dont know how can i take each picture? is there any action which is called each time a frame comes? do sb have some sample code?
    thanks
    JJ

    Here's source code I posted to capture a frame from one webcam.
    http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=570463&tstart=25
    Lots of people have problems with multiple cameras, something to do with the
    Windows USB channels and failing to detect/select between the two.
    So, capturing frames from 1 web cam is relatively straightforward, but you may have serious problems with two or more.

    Owen

  • Calling ABAP BAPIs from a JAVA client - Web Services vs. JCo

    Hi All,
    When calling BAPIs from a JAVA client, what are the pros/cons for making the call employing JCo vs web service technologies.  I understand that using SOAP would play better into the SOA theme and that there are nice tools to generate a WSDL document from a BAPI.  Aside from the obvious, are there any performance considerations and/or other major pros/cons to each
    Thanks,
    Mark

    Hi Mark,
    Have you got any information on this. If you have any information on this pls forward to me at <b>[email protected]</b> I am also having this confusion. My question is a bit deviating from your point. If we use XI when developing WDJs with WS, will it help in improving performance and maintenance.will it give any advantage if I use XI with BAPIs to connecto backend from WDJ apps. I got this confusion, becasue of a requirement to develop WDJ apps that will be accessed by 50,000 users. Somebody told client that use of XI willimprove performance.
    Any help is greatful
