Capture travel time expenses and working hours spent on the service call

Hi Experts,
I have One Year AMC contract with my customer.Under AMC he called me for 10 times.I need to
Capture travel time expenses and working hours spent on all the service call, Non of them will be billed to the customer.
This is just for our internal tracking.this particular data will reside within the office premises.
Explain how efficiently we can track this particular requirement in SAP Business One

You will notice on the item master records that there is a field called Item Type. The options are Item, Labor and Travel. In order for the service module to recognize the expense or charge type, either Labor or Travel must be select. Create a service item (untick inventory item) and choose the Item Type as Labor or Travel. When you now create a Delivery/Invoice from the expenses section of the service call, it will identify and warn you if you charge the customer, as this would be defined in your service contract template as non billable charges. You can still create a Delivery for the charges and put quantities and values on the Delivery document. In this case you are not going to invoice the customer for the charges, so you can "Close" the Delivery. Just be aware that closing the Delivery will post the value to an offset account defined in the Account Determination.
The benefit of this approach is that the Delivery will post a debit and credit in your G/L that will "accrue" what the costs are of servicing the customer. My suggestion would be to set the account determination for the Labor/Travel item(s) to item level and define the Revenue/Expense accounts to specific G/L accounts.

    Please read this whole message before doing anything.
    This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
    Step 1
    The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account.
    Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. Don't use the Safari-only “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac.”
    While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your personal files or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
    Test while logged in as Guest. Same problem?
    After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
    *Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac” is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.
    Step 2
    The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
    Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
    Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a Fusion Drive or a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
    Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
    The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
    Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
    After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of Steps 1 and 2.

    Cannot get the Apple.. what?
    Model and actual device you are talking about?
    Apple covers a pretty huge range.. If you mean extreme.. did you reset it to factory and start over.. that is always necessary when you change a network. You cannot pick up a router from one home and network and plonk it into another and have it work.. aint gonna happen.
    You also need to power down any pure cable modem for 20min or so to get it to forget the old MAC address that captured the IP so the Apple ??? has a chance to work.

    The warranty says that Apple may restrict service of an iPhone to the country of sale, and any reliable salesperson will tell you that if you tell them that you plan to use the iPhone in another country. Such service restrictions are common with cellphones and are by no means limited to Apple's phones.
    Sorry, but if your iPhone requires service, you will need to send it to someone you know in the US who can get it serviced and then send it back to you.

    I've checked your account—you have two ExportPDF subscriptions. One placed on October 20 2013, and the other placed on October 11 of this year. So, you were probably charged the auto renewal for the subscription placed in 2013, and then the new charge for this year's order.
    Please Contact Customer Care so that an agent can help get things situated for you. There's no reason to have two subscriptions to the same service, so an agent can help you cancel one, if you'd like.

    Use the trackpad to scroll, thats what it was designed for. The scroll bars automatically disappear when not being used and will appear if you scroll up or down using the trackpad.
    This is a user-to-user forum and most people will post on here if they have problems. You very rarely get people posting to say there update went smooth. The fact is the vast majority of Mountain Lion users will not be experiencing any major problems with the OS, or maybe with apps which are not compatible, but thats hardly Apple's fault if developers don't update their apps.

    There are a lot of posts in the forums today with people having problems with iMessage.   There was also a published outage yesterday, so it's possible there are still some issues that may be impacting you both.
    I would just wait it out - I'm sure it will be sorted out soon.

  • Calendar Travel Time Starting from Work when I want to Start from Home

    I am having a problem with travel time in Calendar. It will autopopulate with where it thinks I should be. I don't work during the daytime, and when I schedule in an entry for work, it wants to have me leaving from work. Is there any way to change it manually to start from home instead?

If Calendar doesn’t find a location, it uses your work address during work hours and your home address during other hours. (Your work hours are set in Calendar preferences using the “Day starts at” and “Day ends at” menus.)     I am using iCal, accessing an MS Exchange server. When setting up a meeting, "Available Meeting Times" greys out the non-working hours of potential meeting participants. However, the days are one day off. E.g. the working hours of my collegues are displayed are Tuesday-Sunday instead of Monday-Friday. The dates and times of meetings are relayed correctly. Only the display of the working hours seems to be off.
    Needless to say that my collegues are using Windows Outlook, and everything works there.

    I still have the same issue. Had it ever since at least 2010 and meanwhile we switched Exchange-Servers and I'm on Mavericks, but still. Looks to me as if iCal requests something like "getWorkDays" from teh Server. The Server probably replies [2,3,4,5,6]. When the week starts on Sunday, this is perfectly fine. But if the Week starts on Monday, this will give you Tue-Sat as available Days. So it might be a bug in either Exchange or iCal to treat that information correctly, but I'm not obv. not sure about that.

    I am currently trying to model a control that we would like to implement. In short, we would like to check whether in the past, employees that worked less than a given amount of time per month (say X hours a month) did not receive any salary for that month.
    I struggle to find the appropriate reports that would allow me to do this.
    I saw that the report RPLEHSU0 can display the salary history, but I'm not sure whether this corresponds to the actual monthly wage of each employee.
    Could someome highlight what specific SAP reports would provide me these information?

    I think what you need is the data from payroll results. That is only way you can determine if employee has been "paid". IT8 may have a dollar amount but this does not mean employee got paid. Are you using time evaluation and payroll..? You can develop a custom report...to read payroll results...you have to read actual hours worked...and compare with target...and then see if employee has any payment for the corresponding payroll period (s).
    I don't know if there is a one single standard report for this. You can get this in individual reports - get actual hours worked you can use PT_BAL00 which gives the hours worked provided your time evaluation is generating time types/time wage types for hours worked. You can use payroll wage type reporter to get the payment information for a given payroll period...you still have to combine these two to get your final report.

    now enter the formulas as:

    select B2 and C2, then fill down as needed

    I checked the box saying "Announce the time" in Date and Time Preferences, and it did pretty well after I first checked it.
    However, every time after I restart my macbook, it doesn't announce the time any more!
    I go to Date and Time Preferences, the box "Announce the time" is still checked, but not working!
    (And I am sure my macbook is not in a silent mode and I even increase the volume.)
    Why so? Please help.

    I reset and it worked well as when I checked the option the very first time. However, when I restart the computer, it won't announce the time... I have to uncheck the option and check the option so it will work.
    But I am really tired of check and uncheck the option whenever I restart my computer...
