Capturing and Locking on mouse coordinates from ROI done in Vision

My application is on microscopic imaging where I need to scan an area and be able to pick out by an ROI a smaller area from it and be able to zoom at this. The sample is being moved by servos with a motion controller whose displacement depends on the coordinates on it's X and Y axis by user control. I need to be able to feed my LabVIEW code variables of updated X & Y coordinates with from each new ROI "captured & locked" from mouse clicks or ROI corner positions and use them to run the servos based on these updated coordinates. How do you lock the mouse to a ROI and extract the coordinates from it and update your X & Y coordinate variables?

You can use the IMAQ WindLastEvent VI to obtain the ROI boundary coordinates from a user-drawn ROI on a WindDraw display window.
Check out the example below. This VI returns the location of a point from a mouse click rather than the bounding coordinates of an ROI, but you could probably modify it easily to achieve what you want.

Image capture and iphoto show no photos from iPod Touch

I am running OS 10.6.8 on my iMac and using iPhoto 7 and image capture. When I connect my iPod Touch (3rd generation) to my computer, both applications show my ipod as being connected, as does iTunes, but neither of the applications show the photos that are on my iPod. Normally I would be able to download them from my iPod, but they are not showing them, though they are clearly on my iPod.
What has changed? This has been working fine until now. Was it because of the iOS update?

Screen Freeze and lock to mouse

Screen moves with mouse? Screen display is oversized - checked preferences for Display - does not solve it. Computer still work but its like a big screen grab connected to the mouse, never seen anything like this before. Last know cause - was shuting down and a folder was laying across the corner of the keyboard and maybe pushing down some keys - hit Shut Down anyway - and this what occured. Can't find a system preference that will do anything.

To disable the *control key / scroll ball* zoom function go to *System Preferences / Universal Access* Then in the Zoom: section click on the Options... button and uncheck *Use scroll wheel with modifier keys to zoom.*

Certifying and Locking file Invalidates Certification and Signatures in Acrobat 9.0.0

I am running Adobe Acrobat Professional 9.0.0. After creating a PDF document from within Microsoft Word, and it opens in Adobe Acrobat Professional, I performed the following steps:
Select Forms => Add or Edit Forms.
Select the digital signature tool and create three forms.
Select Close Form Editing.
Right click the first form and select Certify with Visible Signature.
Set Permitted Actions After Signing to Form Fill in and digital signatures.
Select Sign.
Save the document, replacing the original file.
Click on the second field, to sign it, and select sign.
Save the document, replacing the original file.
Click on the third field, to sign it.
Select Lock Document After Signing, and select sign.
Save the document, replacing the original file.
I then find that the certification and the first signature are invalid. Only the last field to be signed is valid. Why is the previous signature and certification invalid? This only appears to occur if I both certify and lock the document when signing the last field. If I view the document in Adobe Reader 9, the result is the same. However, if I view the document in Adobe Reader 8 the certification and all the signatures are valid, as expected.
Any assistance much appreciated.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding what you're saying, but http://www.adobe.com/devnet/reader/articles/reader_compatibility/readercomp_digitalsignat ures.pdf seems to indicate otherwise. Specifically:
"In Acrobat 9, when additional signatures are applied to a document, the earlier signatures continue to have the Valid status, subject to the certificate validation rules that have been part of Acrobat's signature processing for a number of releases.
In Acrobat 8, all signature appearances except the last one would have changed their status to "Valid with subsequent changes" (green check with a yellow warning triangle) if their certificate was still valid."
So I read this that in neither version should the signature be "invalidated" by simply applying another signature, but in version 8 it showed the triangle warning, and in version 9 nothing would change. Indeed nothing does change in version 9 and it works EXACTLY as described above providing I don't both certify AND lock the document. I still don't understand why just the extra locking step violates the "certificate validation rules".

I carried out the steps that you described, and it works thank you. I notice that the lock option is not present when I sign the last field now, but presumably this is because by the time the last field in signed, with the settings you describe the document is effectively fully locked anyhow?
Now my problem is, is there any way of setting up templates of the signature fields laid out in the correct position, with the settings that you describe that I can use repeatably on many documents? I wish to use this function to electronically sign technical drawings which are drawn in a CAD package using a template based title block with 'drawn by', 'checked' and 'approved' fields etc. Each drawing may also have many sheets, each with the same fields in the title block. My concern is that to manually place digital signature fields in these 3 spaces in every title block after creating the PDF's, and then apply the settings you describe before certifying (at 'drawn by') and distributing for sign off at 'checked' and 'approved' is going to be a very time consuming and inefficient process. Am I missing something?

Capture and post list in MIGO for excise in return delivery

when I am doing return delivery in MIGO by 122 mov type and wants to capture and post the invoice at the same time.
the list apperaing only part 1 enty and no excise duty in selection list.
can anybody reply how to get this option added for capture and post

If u have done only GR for Both materials then Cancel ur GR and Post it again.
And if you have Done J1iex for first material then Cancel GR first then Cancel Excise Invoice.
Now to cancel Excise Invoice follow the path as
From the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Logistics ® Materials Management ® Inventory Management ® Goods Movement ® Goods Movement (MIGO).
In the top line:
Select Cancellation.
Select Material document.
Enter the number of the goods receipt that you want to cancel
Choose .
Flag all of the line items as OK.
Save the reversal document.
Reversing CENVAT Postings
From the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Indirect Taxes ® Procurement ® Excise Invoice ® Incoming Excise Invoices ® Individual Processing ® Change/Display/Post/Cancel.
In the top line:
Select Post CENVAT.
Select Vendor Excise Invoice.
Enter the excise invoice number.
Choose .
Choose Simulate CENVAT.
A dialog box appears, showing which postings the system will make to reverse the CENVAT.
To close the dialog box, choose .
Choose Post CENVAT.
Canceling Excise Invoices
From the SAP Easy Access screen, choose Indirect Taxes ® Procurement ® Excise Invoice ® Incoming Excise Invoices ® Individual Processing ® Change/Display/Post/Cancel.
In the top line:
Select Cancel.
Select Vendor Excise Invoice.
Enter the excise invoice number.
Choose .
Save the excise invoice
if Not solved then please specify that is error by system.

whether i have to maintain any tax code with excise duties , or i have to maintain zero + nil excise duties in PO.

From FI part what they will do LIV for delivery cost , whether they capture any excise duties before doing MIGO

1 ) Create a purchase order for the materials that you want to order using the standard procedure
Make sure that you observe the following:
Invoice tab
Enter a zero-rate tax code
Deselect GR-based IV
Conditions tab
a.     Select the countervailing duty (CVD) condition and choose .
b.     In the Rate field, enter the rate of CVD that will be levied on the material when it arrives at customs.
c.     In the vendor field, enter the vendor master record that you have created for the customs office.
To do this select the CVD condition which is marked by arrow and then press button   in the conditions tab.
3) Enter the custom vendor number in the vendor field.
The vendor ships the goods to you.
When the goods arrive in India, they go through customs. The customs officers issue a bill of entry for the goods, which is in effect an invoice for the CVD on the goods. Once they have inspected the goods, they send them on to you.
4) Entering invoices for Bill of Entry
The goods arrive at your plant, together with the bill of entry. In order to record the bill of entry in the system
The excise clerk enters a invoice for the bill of entry.
To enter the invoice for bill of entry follow standard invoice verification procedure but make sure you observe following
Header Data
u2022     Basic data tab
o     In the Amount field, enter the amount of countervailing duty (CVD) stated on the bill of entry in rupees. Also enter the amount of other custom duties if any.
o     Do not enter any other taxes.
u2022     Details tab
o     Assuming you specified in the purchase order that the CVD was to be paid to the customs office, the system shows the customs office as the vendor. If not, enter the customs officeu2019s vendor master record in the Inv. party (Invoicing party) field.
Line Items
On the PO reference tab, enter data as follows:
Enter the number of the purchase order related to this delivery.
If you only created one purchase order for the goods, enter the purchase order number and select Planned delivery costs.
If you sent more than one purchase order to the vendor and it sent you all of the ordered materials together in one shipment:
i.     Choose .
ii.     Enter all of the purchase order numbers in the table.
iii.     Select Planned delivery costs.
iv.     Select Deliveries and deselect Returns.
v.     Choose Adopt.
5) In both cases, the system displays the line items in the line item overview
For each line item:
In the Amount field, enter the amount of CVD on the item (if you have more than one item, you may have to work the amount out manually).
In the Quantity field, enter the quantity of goods on the invoice.
Enter a zero-rated tax code.
Choose Simulate.
A dialog box appears with a list of the postings that will be made to Financial Accounting (FI).
Choose   Post.
Note down the document number (commercial invoice number)
Capturing Excise invoice (Bill of Entry)
Menu path : India Localisation menu (J1ILN)  Procurement  Excise Invoice  Incoming Excise Invoice  Individual Processing  Capture/Display.
In the top line:
Select Capture Excise Invoice
Select Purchase Order.
Enter the purchase order related to the bill of entry.
Choose
A dialog box appears.
3.     Enter the number of the invoice that you entered for the bill of entry and choose
If you need to enter any other purchase orders, enter the number in the top line as for step 3.
Note that this time, you do not need to enter the invoice number.
Enter other data as required.
Note that the countervailing duty is displayed in the basic excise duty fields.
Enter the bill of entry number and date in the excise invoice number and Doc date field respectively
Save the excise invoice.
Post goods receipt (MIGO)
Menu Path: Logistics  Materials Management  Inventory management Goods movement  goods receipt  for purchase order Purchase order no. Known (MIGO)
Enter the PO number
Select
Select   and then
Note down the Goods receipt number
Post Excise Invoice (Bill of Entry)
Menu path : India Localisation menu (J1ILN)  Procurement  Excise Invoice  Incoming Excise Invoice  Individual Processing  Change/Display/Post/Cancel.
Select Post CENVAT and Vendor Excise Invoice
Enter the number of the excise invoice that you created for the bill of entry.
Check that the data is correct.
Choose   Simulate CENVAT
A dialog box appears with a list of the accounting entries that will be made to transfer the CVD from the clearing account to the excise duty account.
To close the dialog box, choose .
If the data is correct, the signal is   choose Post CENVAT.
The system posts the CENVAT (CVD Amount) and creates a corresponding entry in Part II or the appropriate excise register.

Capturing mouse events from a loaded module.

I've defined a module and have it to were the mouse
coordinates (through mouse events) are updating bindable, public
variables in the module itself.
In the app parent app (that's loaded the module), i want to
display the coordinates from the loaded module as it moves around.
Like I said, I'm close, to where I capture and handle the
move event in the module itself, I just need to access that info
from the parent app, etc...
Any help is appreciated.

Mouse Coordinates and Timer Resolution

First - I am not a Flash or ActionScript programmer. I have
been asked by someone if I could port my ActiveX code (private) to
the Flash client. In researching all of the Flash, Flex and
ActionScript documentation, it appears that almost everything I
need is present... Almost....
A. My program relies on Mouse Coordinates being fed to it in
twips. The only possible references I get to this issue have come
from searching this forum.
- Is it true that the X and Y coordinates are returned to
ActionScript as floating point values that represent fractional
pixel values that I can translate to twips?
B. My program also relies on good timer resolution. The
Windows GetTicks() API is not sufficient, because it is returned
via the Windows message queue and can be off enormously at a
MouseMove event. Therefore, in my ActiveX code, I call the
QueryPerformanceCounter(), which gives me the resolution I need.
- Can anyone tell me what timer API the Flash client engine
is using for the values it returns?

A few thoughts for diagnosis/testing purposes:
Have you recently run the disk utility and repaired HD and permissions? If not do so.
Boot into the Safe mode - hold down shift key on boot - and see if the problems are still there. Some functions won't work but see if anything odd happens.
Check your startup items. Get rid of them temporarily.
Create a new user account and see if the problems occur with the new account.
Lastly, be sure your backup is up-to-date.

With Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to 'Lock Rotation' have you then moved the switch on the right-hand side of the iPad above the volume control 'off' ?
Or with the switch set to control 'notification mute' you should be able to unlock rotation via the far left of the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and it's the icon far left; press home again to exit the taskbar. You can try bitpim to get your text messages off the old phone, but I don't know if they will transfer to the iphone. Verizon has a company that you can contact to transfer you voicemail messages to CD. There is a charge for the service though.
