Capturing on hdd

Question

Hi. In first of all, i would like to tell, that i'm new in JMF, and i've just started to creating something in Java and JMF, so be indulgent :)
I would like to ask You how to capture video/audio steram form my camera, to file on hdd. I created the Player where i can see the preview from camera, but i don't have idea what next. I read that i have to change something in this fragment:

I think i've found some resolution if that will help anybody else out there. There are in fact problems with Canon cameras and firewire. Apple has a document on it and it mentions my model specifically. I emailed canon and they implied there were too many devices on the firewire bus and recommended capturing to the internal drive. I was able to borrow a Sony handycam from a friend and found it works without issue. I am dissapointed in Canon because I have always thought highly of their cameras. I thought firewire was firewire but am slowly learning this is not the case. Long story short, it is possible to capture directly to a firewire drive, my firewire bus is not overloaded and my external drive works very well.
