Capturing url's visited

I would like to capture the various urls that the admins
visit on my site. So if use X has logged in, i want to know what
pages he went to and db this information.
any suggestions

Mess around with this. You will have to assign visitorname
elsewhere in your template, but this should give you the idea.
The following CGI variables are the key:
#CGI.SCRIPT_NAME# is the current page
#CGI.HTTP_REFERER# is the referring page
#CGI.REMOTE_ADDR# is the IP Address of the visitor
<cfquery name="AddVisit" datasource="DSN">
INSERT INTO tblHits
(PageVisited,Referer,IPAddress,VisitorName)
VALUES ('#CGI.SCRIPT_NAME#', '#CGI.HTTP_REFERER#',
'#CGI.REMOTE_ADDR#', '#VisitorName#')
</cfquery>

  • Using dbms_xmlgen.convert to capture URL

    I am using a web service that returns XML response (see result below). I need to capture the URL in the 'GetIEPUrlWithAuditResult' tag. I tried this code but get a ORA-30625: method dispatch on NULL SELF argument is disallowed. Is my dbms_xmlgen.convert path to the tag correct?
    l_xml := xmltype.createxml(l_clob);
    l_val := dbms_xmlgen.convert(l_xml.extract('//GetIEPUrlWithAuditResult/text()').getclobval(),1);
    RESULT
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?><soap:Envelope xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"><soap:Body><GetIEPUrlWithAuditResponse xmlns="http://www.iepdirect.com/CentrisWebServices/IEPViwer"><GetIEPUrlWithAuditResult>https://www.iepdirect.com/lettersandreports/maintenance/iepviewer.aspx?auditinfo=TEST&amp;viewertoken=cn097c5e6c69a94fbc9dffcd70bd88f2b9|||d0Gpyh6ZEelbL6lMz+ZDWBTyMqsfjkDFPlat6T+8vMQ=</GetIEPUrlWithAuditResult></GetIEPUrlWithAuditResponse></soap:Body></soap:Envelope>

    Is my dbms_xmlgen.convert path to the tag correct?Half correct.
    You're missing the namespace mapping, and you'll need to add the text() node to the XPath expression in order to retrieve the value instead of the whole element.
    l_val := dbms_xmlgen.convert(
                l_xml.extract(
                  '//GetIEPUrlWithAuditResult/text()'
                , 'xmlns="http://www.iepdirect.com/CentrisWebServices/IEPViwer"'
                ).getstringval()
              , 1
              );But, in this case, it's better to use extractValue (as it performs the necessary conversions for us) :
    select extractvalue(
              l_xml
            , '//GetIEPUrlWithAuditResult'
            , 'xmlns="http://www.iepdirect.com/CentrisWebServices/IEPViwer"'
    into l_val

  • Air htmlloader capture url click

    After making sure navigateInSystemBrowser=false, is there a way I can capture when a user clicks on any url in the loaded content?  There will be many different pages loaded, and many links will be of the standard <a href="www.google.com">link</a> variety so the javascript examples in the docs won't really work.
    I just want to get an event when any link is clicked so I can display it in another section of the application.
    Any advice is appreciated.
    Thank you,
    -Eric

    Hi
    Many thanks for the update.
    The page I am working on is the standard Oracle Page ( Receiving Home Page in iProcurement). This page has table of Requisitions which can be Received.
    Express Receive image is present corresponding to each Requisition in the tablelayout.
    Once the express receive is clicked ( Destination URI property is set to OAFunc= Final Review Page Parameter= Req Header ID), the Review page is displayed with Submit button.
    So as to change the ActionType of the Express Receive Image, I need to then customize the page and also extend the standard Controller code.
    Instead just extending the COntroller to capture the URL click event
    I guess, the URL click event cannot be captured in Controller. Hence the Property has to be changed and handled by code.
    What i am worryin for this solution is that, whether the specific Requisition Header ID which is passed on the URL link, can be passed similiarly while writing the code for the Action Type of the Express Image. Or the code would though take to Review Page but miss out the specific Req Header ID against which it was clicked.
    Pls advise
    Thanks

  • Capture URL Link click event in ProcessFormRequest

    Hi All,
    I have requirement to capture the event and do some validation/dialog page whenever a URL Link is clicked on my Page.
    I can handle the button click event in ProcessFormRequest, if I use a Button and sets its destination URI to a URL
    However, if its a standard hyperlink or Image and Destination URI is set. The event is not being captured in ProcessFormRequest.
    Is there any other alternative, apart from changing the Image to Button. Thats the restriction. Its has to be Image.
    Or how to capture that event, when the URL is clicked.

  • Any Method to capture URL in the browser to java program ??

    i want to get the URL
    whole path displayed in the URL to be captured in the java program
    is ther any method to do this ?
    can u provide code for that ?
    i tried getPath() , getContent or URL class but can't get....
    thanks if u provide help

    i want to get the URL
    whole path displayed in the URL to be captured in the
    java program
    is ther any method to do this ?If you mean from a separate browser application: no, unless the browser provides a suitable API. But that's browser-specific, somewhat unlikely and very probably if at all a C++ API, so you'd need to use JNI.

  • Unable to Browse/Capture - URL iView - EP 7.0

    Hi All,
    I couldnt able to Capture/Browse the URL while creating the URL iView on EP 7.
    Could any one know about this problem/bug?? Please let me know..
    Thanks,
    Raags

    Hi,
    Can you tell me how the HTTP Proxy Server and HTTP Proxy Port are mentioned.
    We had some problem mentioning it. We solved our problem by mentioning in the format mentioned below -
    HTTP Proxy Server : <Proxy Server Name Only, e.g. sdnproxy>
    HTTP Proxy Port    : <port number only, e.g. 8080>
    If this does not solve your problem, you can upgrade your systen to SP12 for EP7.

  • Problems with file uploading servlet, the form action doesnt capture url

    Hi, i have one problem. I am working on a project , i have created a servlet that takes uploaded files and processses them and links them back to user to download. The servlet works perfectly from my computer, I am using apache-tomcat-6.0.16 and java 1.6 , I have two forms called encrypt.html and decrypt.html, I will post both of them, now the problem is when somebody access it on the internet while i am running apache, they get a connection was reset on a firefox browser and same stuff on Internet Explorer.

    Hi, thank you for your replies, I found out few things about my servlet, and its portability
    and i have few questions, although i marked this topic as answered i guess its ok to post
    I am using javax.servlet.context.tempdir to store my files in that servletcontext temporary directory. But i dont know how to give hyperlink
    of the modified files to the user for them to download the modified files.
    What i am using to get the tempdir i will paste
    File baseurl = (File)this.getServletContext().getAttribute("javax.servlet.context.tempdir");
    System.out.println(baseurl);
    baseurl = new File(baseurl.getAbsolutePath()+File.separator+"temp"+File.separator+"files");
    baseurl.mkdirs();so i am storing my files in that temp/files folder and the servlet processes them and modifies them, then how to present them as
    links to the user for download ?
    and as the servlet is multithreaded by nature, if my servlet gets 2 different requests with same file names, i guess one of them will be overwritten
    And i want to create unique directory for each request made to the servlet , so file names dont clash.
    one another thing is that i want my servlet to be executed by my <form action> only, I dont want the user to simply type url and trigger the servlet
    Reply A.S.A.P. please..
    Thanks and regards,
    Mihir Pandya

  • Capturing URL WITH VARIABLES for reuse?

    Hi,
    I have an application that authenticates users only if a
    certain page is requested. Once they login, i'd like to send them
    back to the page they came from, the one that required they log in.
    BUT, I need to send them back to that page with some URL
    variables intact (pageID, sometimes another one, it varies from
    page to page).
    I cannot for the life of me figure out how to do this...have
    messed with GetTemplatePath and such, have looked at my Forta book,
    have searched here and googled....this seems like it should be easy
    but I can't figure out how to grab what I need.
    Help?
    Many thanks in advance....
    Liz

    That was it!
    I'll find one to answer now , many thanks :)

  • How to track the URL that comes from a referred page using XSQL Custom Handler

    Please let me know how can I capture URL of the refered page(cf.cfm) in the Custom Handler and then I want to extract host-name and path-name out of that url and on the basis of their values I want to display the result of XSQL page(test.xsql).

  • Passing parameters through URL in ADF Application with UIShell

    Hi,
    JDeveloper Studio Edition Version 11.1.1.6.0
    The UI in our application is developed with UIShell pageTemplate.
    We have a Home page created with PageTemplace "UIShell.jspx" and this page is placed as a view in adfc-config.xml (the Unbounded Task Flow).
    The other pages for our application are created using Page Fragments and these pages are called from Home_taskmenu.xml through Bounded task flows.
    With this setting, the URL(after SignIn) will look like,
    http://localhost:7101/OperationalPlanning/faces/Home?_afrWindowMode=0&_adf.no-new-window-redirect=true&_afrLoop=6811862222491857&_adf.ctrl-state=29wus7giw_19
    We have a requirement to build the URL which should open a Page Fragment directly after Signing In to the application. And we have a id to be passed as a parameter, so it should open the page fragment with the details based on the id value that we pass.
    The parameters are already registered in the Bounded Task Flow(which has the page fragment) and I could open in the "localArea" using a link in the Home Page.
    Now, I want to directly launch the Bounded task flow by passing a parameter, so that it opens the Page Fragment as a tab once we signIn.
    Let me know if there is any solution for this requirement.
    If there is any document to follow for this kind of requirement in an application which is created using the UIShell, please let me know.
    Thanks,
    Tamil

    hi Frank,
    Thanks for the response. We followed your suggestion and managed to capture URL parameters in afterPhase(LifeCycle.PREPARE_MODEL) and save parameters to ViewScope.
    Then in beforePhase(LifeCycle.PREPARE_RENDER), we retrieve parameters back and invoke FndUIController.openMainTask method to launch the correponding taskflow but nothing happens.
    public static void openTaskflowOnNewTab(String taskflowId) {
    try {
    FacesContext fc = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance();
    ELContext elc = fc.getELContext();
    ExpressionFactory ef = fc.getApplication().getExpressionFactory();
    ValueExpression valExp = ef.createValueExpression(elc,"#{bindings.openMainTask}",Object.class);
    JUCtrlActionBinding methodBinding = (JUCtrlActionBinding)valExp.getValue(elc);
    Map params = methodBinding.getParamsMap();
    params.put("label", "Some Title");
    params.put("taskFlowId", taskflowId);
    params.put("reuseInstance", true);
    methodBinding.invoke();
    } catch (Exception e) {
    e.printStackTrace();
    To prove that this method works, we create a UI button on the page (which binds this method in PageDef.xml), and associate this method to onclick event. At runtime after page is opened, clicking on the button does launch the taskflow on new tab successfully.
    Do you happen to know what I do wrong in the beforePhase() method?
    Thanks
