Capturing with old Excel formatted Premiere 6.5 logs

Question

How can I make use of my old Premiere 6.5 logs to capture footage into a scene library I am building in CS6?  I used to be able to import text delimited files from my Excel stored logs and then capturing would be simple.  I'm trying to capture my 50 DV tape contents into a library.  If Premiere Pro CS6 won't do it is their some facility in Prelude or Bridge?

Not sure of all of the possible settings for Audio in Pr 6.5, but this ARTICLE will give you some general tips.
I'd also strongly recommend getting the very latest audio card/chip driver. Even a simple OS update/hot-fix can kill an audio driver. Do not be lulled into a false sense of security, because other programs with audio play fine. Premiere interfaces more closely with your audio driver, than most other programs.
Also, John T. does mean "Windows," and just uses a common reference to it, "Windoze," which is more often seen on the Mac fora.
One test for Pr would be to Import a known good WAV file, maybe one from the Windows System Sounds, and see how that plays. I'd not test with MP3's or similar, and do this only with a known good WAV file.
