Cash and Payments based GST reporting

In Australia and New Zealand some small business have the option of reporting tax (gst) on cash basis.  Meaning its only reported to the tax offices once the invoice is paid and the period its paid in.  This is an option provided by the tax offices in the respective countries.
Currently the B1 2007A version does not handle this.  It only reports tax on invoice basis.
In the French and some other localisations SAP B1 provides the option of Deferred Tax reporting which works similarly to the requirements above.
Can this feature be made available in the Australia and New Zealand localisations?

  • Connectivity Problem with WPF Viewer and Oracle based imbedded reports

    I've been using code to modify the Database, Username and Password in imbedded reports for quite a few years.  Whether I was using C++ V6 or C# in VS2008, the process has been basically the same.  Now I am trying to use the WPF Viewer in VS2010 and am getting an "ORA-00942: table or view does not exist" error.  I perform a successful Connectivity Test and receive the error when I'm trying to view the report. 
    If I comment out all of the code that sets the source of the data and performs the connectivity test, the report shows up in the viewer and I'm presented a logon window similar to what I see when i design the RPT file in Crystal Reports. i.e the "Server Name:" shows the name of the Oracle Database I used when I designed the report; the "Database: " is empty; the "Login ID:" displays an edit box and contains the User ID I used when designing the report; and the "Password: " displays an edit box in which I type the password.  Once I click on the OK button, the report is displayed in the WPF viewer.
    Here is the code starting after I have loaded the report into a ReportDocument:

    i need a requirement to maintain reports for cash and funds flow statements?Actually relevant to these reports i use to maintain customize only but coming to fundflow and cash flow there is much complications to do that.

  • Crystal Report for Sales, Delivery and Payment.

    Hi Guys,
    Need some expert advice over here. Currently, our sales team are using 3 separate report, one report on sales per month for each specific customers, one report on delivered amount per month for specific customers again and the last one report on payment received per month for specific customers as well.
    We have the idea of joining this 3 report so that I can report on sales, delivery and payment all at once so that they can see the trend better. However, after trying for quite a few times, we fail to create a common joining between ORDR, ODLN and ORCT. Is there any possible way to work something out ?
    I have thought of using subreport, but I just cant find the way to plug in the figure correctly.
    Need some advice over there.

    Based on what you have told me, then you should then join Sales Order, Delivery, Invoice and Incoming Payments into one.
    The reason I say Invoice table also is because, you cannot directly link Delivery and Incoming Payments window.
    Also you it is not enough that you link the ORDR, ODLN and ORCT, you will need to get the details from RDR1 and DLN1.
    In SAP Business One, each line in SAP Business One can have a different Delivery documnet.
    The TrgetEntry, TargetType will give you this information. For example, if a line for Sales Order has TargetType 15, then TrgetEntry will be the DocEntry in the ODLN. But if it TargetType is 13 it means the Sales order was converted directly to and Invoice and bypassed the creation of Delivery step, which is possible in SAP.
    So here is how I think you will need to link Sales order and Delivery
    RDR1.TrgetEntry INNER JOIN DLN1.DocEntry AND
    RDR1.TargetType INNER JOIN DLN1.ObjType AND
    RDR1.LineNum INNER JOIN DLN1.BaseLine
    Now this could get a little more complicated if you do partial deliveries. For example if a line in your Sales Order has say 10 items and 6 of them are delivered using Delivery Note 123 and the remaining are delivered using Delivery Note 124, then the join will give you 2 different lines.
    So basically you will need to link the tables in this fashion
    ORDR <-> RDR1 <-> DLN1 <-> INV1 <-> RCT2 <-> ORCT
    Unfortunately, this linking process can get complicated if you do not follow certain steps, like for example if you do not create a Delivery Note and converted your Sales order to Invoice. Then the link would be
    ORDR <-> RDR1 <-> INV1 <-> RCT2 <-> ORCT

    Anybody know how to filter AP and PO Accrual Reconciliation Report based on GL Date from and GL Date to in R12?
    Since we just upgraded from 11.5.10 to 12.1.3 and found we cannot filter those report for specific date. It shown all data included the old data from 8 years ago also.
    We need to run the report only for specific date only. Please share with me if anyone know about this.

    In 12 you can rebuild and run the report for a particular period, but not a single day if that's what's required

    As per your response i have done all the setting and i cheked FF7A and FF7B for cash and liquidity forcase but still i am not able to get the Persons line items in that report for M1, M2 and s1, i am ble to view only F1 line item.
    M1 means Purchase requisition
    M2 means Purchase Order
    S1 Means Sales order
    Here i am able to generate only F1 line item detals only F1 means posting of purchase and sales
    i have created Planning group and assign in Customer master and vendor master
    i want to gererate report for M1 M2 and S1 line items in Person column
    Kindly give quick responce on the above issue

    As you may be aware, we are currently undertaking a global project to split our Balance Sheet based on the divisional structure (Profit Centres in SAP).  The splitting of Receivables and Payables by Profit Centre. We have an additional requirement in the area of cash flow. What is required is the ability to measure cash in and outflows based on the profit centre that the movement relates to.
    Please help me on the above issue.

    Ok closing based on my research
    It is often not possible to set the size of a buffer so that it never becomes full. Above a certain size, which is greatly dependent on the hardware and the operating system, the performance advantage of the buffer is canceled out by increased operating system paging. A buffer that occupies too much main memory forces the operating system to perform expensive paging.

  • Cash desk and payment lots documents not updating in DFKKOP table

    Dear Experts,
    I have noticed that my cash desk payments and payment lot documents are not getting updating in the DFKKOP table. I have identified that for this documents, the document class is updated with "1" which means "Document does not have FI-CA items".
    But, the postings where shown in the FPL9 transactions and clearing is happening as per the settings and requirements.
    So please update me, on what basis the system would determine the document class for the document types in contract accounting..
    Your inputs on this issue will be really helpful for me.

    Hi Aditya,
    In a simple word, whichever documents are posted with MAIN/SUB creates a new row in DFKKOP with document number in DFKKOP-OPBEL.
    If a payment is posted as an open credit item, it should be there DFKKOP-OPBEL field and BETRW and BETRH will be populated with payment amount.
    However if a payment is posted as a clearing document against a debt, system updates that row of DFKKOP where DFKKOP-OPBEL is the cleared document number (debt, mostly an invoice). Clearing document (DFKKOP-AUGBL) of that row is updated with the payment document number.
    In either of the cases DFKKKO and DFKKOPK are updated and below are the reason.
    DFKKKO - document header level information (as who created, at what time, origin key, reco key etc.)
    DFKKOPK - (GL level information of the document)
    For payment lot and payment document related information you can refer DFKKZK, DFKKZP and DFKKZPT tables.

    how is it reflected in SD document.
    I know this scenario is a standard scenario in retail business... so IS - Retail shoud be having a solution for this...
    is there a solution for this scenario in R/3 too ???
    I got suggestions in the forum from some of our friends like
    OBB8...OBB9... there is no such option in these T codes where we can give two modes of payment...

    While posting the transactions by using FBCJ T.Code u can select the Receipts or Payments or Expenses then the documents will be genereted.  FBCJ02 is the T.Code for no.range there u can assign the no.range intervels.

  • Dynamically passing text and url-based images as an input parameter to cf8 report builder

    I'm unsuccessfully trying to dynamically pass text and url-based images to a group footer or the detail section via an input parameter or even hardcoded. The field has the attribute 'XHTML Text Formating' set to True. The following are failed samples of a simplified value:
    "<img height=’300’ alt=’Document’ width=’300’ src=’http://www.google.com/intl/en_ALL/images/logo.gif’ />"
    or
    "<img src=’http://www.google.com/intl/en_ALL/images/logo.gif’ />"
    This just results in the above text being output. The end result would have various text and images from a database as input by a user, thus the reason I cannot just use the hyperlink information attribute as I could if it were a single known image. I tried rtf and pdf report types. Ideas?

    Thanks. I'll keep that in mind, although I don't know how many images my user might need or what sizes so that might be tricky.
    Since my target output is rtf so that MS Word can be used to edit the result, I added a pagebreak to a MS Word doc and used the resulting html source to replace the rich text editor source code for the page break, but that did not help either. The page break was so a user could add an image later. Something is wrong with the Report Builder related to intepreting XHTML, especially anything that has an attribute, including URL-based image links. I hope they try to provide another update before CF9. I doubt my client will be going to CF9 for some time, since they are just completing the migration to CF8.
