We are running into errors when publishing catalog. Pls help !!

  COuld you please run this report and check for any error messages.
/CCM/check_trex
1) First DEPUBLISH the catalog.
2) Publish again now.

    Can these APIs be used to expose the catalog using enterprise portal as well, instead of a normal website (just like how its done in SRM-MDM catalog)?

  • Catalog link opening the SRM Shop Page

    Hi SRM Gurus,
    We are experiencing an issue where a user selects the Catalog link in SRM Shop page and instead of Opening the Catalog page it opens SRM shop page. The problem does not occur every time.
    We are using SRM 4.0.
    The catalog call structure used is Standard Call Structure.
    We have also made following entry in the Catalog configuration:
    S. No. : 70
    Parameter Name : ~caller
    Parameter Value : CTLG
    Type: Fixed
    Please advise and help me on this.

    standard call structure is to open the external web service (eg catalog) in new window.
    But does not open new window for you.
    Use the same calling details in integrated call structure and test
    one more check point
    ask yr Basis to check entries in table TWPURLSVR
    this table is responcible to generate correct URLs for SRM web applications

  • An Issue in SRM

    Hi,
    I got an issue in SRM. How to do this?
    Spend and savings reports are two of the most common reporting areas within the sourcing organization.  In addition to common report characteristics like vendor name, material number, calendar year, etc., a key characteristic for sorting spend and savings data is SCO (supplier subcommodity owner).  By including the SCO characteristic within the Spend/Savings cube, end users will be able to rollup spend/savings based on the vendor classification.  The SCO code is assigned to a vendor in One-Source. To make this meaningful to users, the description needs to be stored in R/3 and then extracted to BW.

    First, let me one thing like "ET_MESSAGES" is not a database table it is an EXPORTING parameter of BADI (BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI).
    This exporting parameter is referred to one TABLE TYPE (BBP_TMESSAGES_BADI) and internally it refers to the structure (BBP_SMESSAGES_BADI).
    So, what you need to do is just capture all the error messages in to some internal table and loop the internal table and populate "ET_MESSAGES" internal table which is a exporting parameter.

  • JPY Currency issue in SRM 5 Limit Items

    We are having an issue JPY Currency issue in SRM Limit Items (550 SP 13).
    Basically the currencies like JPY, KWR where there are no decimals causes value to be multiplied by 100.
    There are lot of notes and threads on JPY currency issues.
    But I have not found one that helps fix SRM Limit Items.
    Let me know if there is a note or thread that talks about it.

  • Issue connecting SRM 7.01 to a R/3 4.5B back-end

    Guys,
    I need your help with the following. We are currently trying to connect a SRM 7.01 system to a R/3 4.5B back-end. We almost got everything working except for a small problem, maybe you can help. We are using the classic scenario and are creating purchase orders in the back-end based on a SRM SC.
    First question did anyone successfully connected a SRM 7.01 system to a R/3 4.5B back-end?
    The problem we are encountering is as follows. In customizing in SRM I have selected system type R/3_4.5B as the back-end system type in u2018define system landscapeu2019.This causes for the determination of driver FM B45A_PO_CREATE when SRM wants to create the PO in the back-end (BBP_PD_SC_TRANSFER  ).This action succeeds because the PO is created in the back-end.
    However, the next action of BBP_PD_SC_TRANSFER  is to read the data again from the back-end via FM B45A_PO_GETDETAIL. This synchronous call is done in order to update the SC status in SRM and create the linkages in BUS2121. This last action fails, because at the time the get detail Bapi is executed by SRM, the EKKO table in the back-end is not yet up to date and error u2018W5 107 purchase order does not existsu2019 is issued by the BAPI_PO_GETDETAIL in te back-end. This causes the SC in SRM to get status I1112 (error in process). Even though this status is issued in SRM, the PO is available in the back-end without any errors if I check this  via ME23.
    What I see is if I debug the SC transfer process and wait 1 or 2 seconds between the B45A_PO_CREATE and B45A_PO_GETDETAIL. The issue is not there. In this case it appears that the EKKO table is updated on time in the back-end and the B45A_PO_GETDETAIL can be processed in SRM without problems in order to update the SC status. I get status I1113 follow-on document created in this case.
    Thus my conclusion is there is a timing issue when connecting to a R/3 4.5B system. Does anyone know a solution. Our thought goes to a small enhancement in the B45A_PO_GETDETAIL FM creating a timer to wait a second before the execution and fetching of the data. I tried it and it worked. But of course I prefer a standard SAP solution. Did anyone experienced similar behavior? Or knows a standard SAP solution to this problem?

    The code changes in this note only apply if the system type is u201CERP_Xu2019u201D. This is not the case over here, we are trying to connect to a R/3 4.5B system.
    Some additional info, we have multiple back-ends connected. All ECC back-end function correctly and for these we do not have the problem. Only for the very very old R/3 4.5B system.
    Any way I tried the note but no luck. This because of the above.

  • Folio Producer fails to update older published issues

    A client wants me to update an advertisement in several past issues including issues published in January and February 2012.
    I updated the article in the folio and go to the Folio Producer to update the published issue, but either immediately get a failed attempt or it will process up to 20% before failing. I have tried publishing multiple times and it constantly fails.
    Has anyone else come across this problem?
    Why can't I update?

    First slide, my title slide with audio, is not the the published mp4.
    I can insert a phantom slide into the project, before my title slide, as a work-around, but I shouldn't have to do that.

    First of all, please apply the patch to your version. Captivate 6.0.0.199 had a truckload of issues. Here is the link for the patch.

    How are you inserting the audio? Is it coming from the PPT or did you insert it in Captivate? Is it a slide audio or is it associated with an object?

    After publish Android Application in Google Play Can't find any publish issue in app. The Product ID is match, The Email Address in Folio Builder is match but is there necessary that DPS account have to match with Google Play Developer Account? Please Help

    Are the folios published as Public? Are the folios free or retail? If retail, did you create an in-app billing Product ID in Google Play that is an exact match for the published folio? Is the "Title ID" you specified the same account you used to create the folios? Did you turn on Strict Renditions when you built the app?

  • How big is my site? Could size cause publishing issues?

    How can I find out if my site will fit in the available space on my mobileme prior to publishing? I had a site published, using a personal domain, prior to the conversion from .mac to mobileme. I recently made changes/additions to the site, and now it won't publish. I've double checked my forwarding and CNAME information and all seems to be correct. The site publishes to a folder without any problems, but not to mobileme, even when I use Publish All. Could the publishing issues be related to the size of the site?

    I've been using Host Excellence for a number of years. Their reliability is good as is their tech support.
    I particularly like the way I can name my own root folders and the ease and speed of registering a domain name and setting up a new site.
    I wouldn't want to think about how big my latest site is getting.
    http://www.iwebformusicians.com/ is built on ten different domain files for ease of updating and way quicker uploading. This is another approach you could consider.

  • Catalog Publishing Software Recommendations Anyone :)

    Hello,
    I would love to get some catalog publishing software recommendations besides Easy Catalog (currently using Easy Catalog and looking to get away from it) that are user friendly with InDesign?
    We are looking to streamline our process and hopefully use a datapull that we produce into an excel document. Our catalogs are generally printed and anywhere from 80-130 pages each.

    I have not seen any custom demonstrations by them, im always learing of having to "sign up" for things online in order to get demonstrations, ive been bombarded with  tons of junk email before by doing this. Since you have used this program can you tell me if i can have my data pulled from an excel document in order to use this program? Basically our information is entered into a specific program that was written for our business. In the past we have had to extract data from this program, run it through yet another program and then convert it to excel document... Hey at least we are able to work with it... lol  Trying to find an easier way

    I am in the process of converting all SRM 4.0 Punchout Catalogs to SRM 7.0.
    I got a problem autologgin into one of the vendor catalog page. it working fine in SRM 4.0 system. it automatically loggin using buyer organization parameter. I also enabled "Accept third Party Cookies" in IE also. but still there is no luck. vendor URL accepts only one parameter "BUYER_ORGANIZTION". please advice to solve this issue.

    I think it is catalog vendor side problem. Maybe they are checking additional parameters and raise exception when auto logon.
    Please open notepad and build several test URL string. Copy&Past the string directly to the browser. Find which parameter is the problem. You can also ask vendor to check their logon fail log.

  • Memory Issue in SRM Shopping Cart

    Hi all,
    Apparently, I have implemented BAdI BBP_PGRP_FIND to map the purchasing group from z-table, based on Organization ID and Vendor. The mapping was successfully done based on the z-table entry.
    However, when one of the users tried to create a shopping cart from external catalog, he found out that purchasing group was not mapped successfully, and revert to default Responsible Purchasing Group (using FM BBP_OM_FIND_SC) in the above BAdI.
    This issue really puzzle me, as I have tried to replicate user's issue, and I am manage to map purchasing group from z-table, using the same test data as per what user did. I tried to replicate the same issue by using some of my colleagues' workstation, and its having no issue on the purchasing group mapping.
    When I told the user to re-test again, he still have the same issue, where he could not map the purchasing group. I suspect is it a browser setting or problem? My colleagues and I are using Internet Explorer 6.0, and mapping is working OKAY. Should I ask the user to clear all the cookies and Temporary Internet Files? Is this make sense?
    Also, in BAdI method DETERMINE_RESP_PGRP, I am getting current shopping cart item details by Importing item from MEMORY ID 'SCITEM', could this be the issue of ABAP Memory getting flushed when user performs the testing?

    Hi all,
    Finally, I found the resolution to solve this issue. I have created Implicit Enhancement in include program LBBP_SC_APPF23, Subroutine orgdata_fill. I have cleared parameter is_global-proc_group to clear the original Purchasing Group.
    Not sure whether this is the SRM mistake or there is OSS note to fix that, where, I have mapped purchasing group successfully, but the standard program still stick to original purchasing group.
    Hope this can be shared to whom encounters this problem.

    When we try to add Pair type material in shopping cart in SRM Sandbox Portal (Material no:
    11100000000111) , it is throwing error as " Incomplete items in catalog. Only complete items were transferred" in checkout screen and item is not showing in shopping cart.
    I created some test implementation on this BADI BADI bbp_catalog_Transfer, so that it will give more log on SLG1 for this issue.

    this error is simple in the fact that there are a few mandatory fields that needs to be transferred from MDM to SRM SC
    The following fields are required fields in all cases:
    u2022 Either NEW_ITEM-DESCRIPTION[n] or NEW_ITEM-MATNR[n] must be filled. Only one of the two should be filled.
    u2022 NEW_ITEM-QUANTITY[n]
    The following fields are required fields depending on conditions:
    u2022 NEW_ITEM-UNIT[n] if NEW_ITEM-MATNR[n] has not been filled
    u2022 NEW_ITEM-CURRENCY[n] if NEW_ITEM-PRICE[n] has been filled
    u2022 NEW_ITEM-EXT_SCHEMA_TYPE[n] if NEW_ITEM-EXT_CATEGORY_ID[n] or NEW_ITEM-EXT_CATEGORY[n] are used
    u2022 NEW_ITEM-EXT_QUOTE_ID[n] if NEW_ITEM-EXT_QUOTE_ITEM[n] has been used
    u2022 NEW_ITEM-CONTRACT[n] if NEW_ITEM-CONTRACT_ITEM[n] has been used
    All other fields are optional.
    check in the catalog OCI mappings if these mandatory fields are mapped.
    if they look fine : then make sure that the values in those mandatory fields are also maintained in the SRM side
    for eg : if Prod cat of R01 is maintained and sent from MDM : then the same R01 must be present in SRM
                 if UoM ISO of EA  is maintained and sent from MDM : then the same EA (not EACH) must be present in SRM
    this will solve ur issue.
