CC App Authorization

For the last couple of days my CC apps have been opening in Trial and requesting Authorization. I understand these apps call home from time to time but this has been happening multiple times for each app. Is this normal when the subscription is renewing?

  • [iPhone] iTunes always asking app authorization

    Hello everybody !
I have a trouble with my iPhone 3G and my Windows Vista SP1 (latest iTunes). Due to a software problem, I had to FULLY restore my iPhone (so I reinstalled iPhone OS, and I used the factory restore), and now everytime I sync my iPhone iTunes tells me that "this computer is not allowed anymore to use the apps...", so I need to be ALWAYS connected to Internet to sync, and when I allow the computer, as usual it tells me that computer is already allowed.
I tried to reset all the authorizations (3 out of 5), but I can't since there is not 5 out 5 authorizations.
    Any help ?? Thanks !

    Hello,
thanks for the link, I just found it few minutes before you replied
I've put this method to the test since a week, and it works
    Thank you again !

  • Any Fix For iPhone 4S Apps Authorization

Since purchasing the 4S third party apps have crashed regularly. The apps appear to be loaded in the phone, but not authorized - so rather than open the app, the icon only flickers when pressed. Usually this happens to an odd few of the apps I have loaded, but now it is all third party apps. Every time this problem has occured immediately after charging the phone on a wall socket for an extended period (e.g. overnight), making me wonder if extended charging overloads some circuitry.
I have previously fixed this by completely restoring the phone from a back-up and re-installing everything, a tedious process, only to have the same problem later recur. I have also deleted the affected third party apps individually and re-installed them, again only to have the problem recur. Thankfully in these cases my user info and settings were retained. This time it is not a few of the third party apps but all of them.
This problem began after connecting the phone to my Mac and opening iTunes. iTunes continually now says that my Mac is not authorized, but when I choose Store > Authorize This Computer the system tells me I am already authorized. For some reason though iTunes is not recognizing the authorization, and is passing that lack of recognition to the iPhone. This then means the apps won't work.
This continual frustration has made me question my purchase. I would love to hear ideas about an authorization fix if anyone has any. For the record it is a 14GB 4S with only 26 third-party apps loaded. The desktop is a MacPro running OS 10.6.8 and iTunes 10. Thought: might this be a compatibility issue between 10.6.8 and iOS5? WiFi sync is not turned on, and pc is normally powered down at night when charging the phone.

Thanks. The forums show these authorization issues have been going on since just months after the iPhone's release. When the issue was just a few third party apps I figured it was the apps; when the issue became all third party apps I knew the root of the problem was with Apple. Apple normally focuses strongly on user experience; I would have expected an issue that has literally frustrated users for years to have been addressed long ago. Maybe increasing Android competition will prompt Apple to look at such issues more closely.

  • How to check the apps authorization/privilege in OS Lion?

I recently authorized an app to read from my screen (safari, terminal) when I select some words, I want to know how could I manage this authorization and where can I check the app modified which files in my system?

While we all have MacBooks in this forum most of us don’t have Lion. There's a Lion Support Community where everybody has Lion. You should also post this question there.  https://discussions.apple.com/community/mac_os/mac_os_x_v10.7_lion

  • Can't Sign In, Update Apps, Authorize etc... unknown error 0x80092013 iTunes 10.6

    After updating to iTunes 10.6 from 10.5, I can't Sign In! I can't Update/Download Apps! I can't Authorize/De-Authorize! etc... I keep on getting "unknown error 0x80092013". iTunes 10.6 does detect my Phone! (4, 5.0.1)

I have the same or a similar problem see https://discussions.apple.com/message/17828996#17828996
I have a ticket open with support to see if we can get to the bottom of it.
Within itunes if you select the menu item 'Help > Check For Updates' can you tell me the message that is displayed.  I get message 'the itunes update server could not be contacted.  Please check your internet connection, or try again later'.

  • App authorization (over and over and over)

Since updating to IOS5, every couple of days my iTunes tells me that my apps are no longer authorized for this computer.  I have tried everything I can think of to get this to stop.  I have tried:
Re-authorizing from the pop-up window from the error
Authorizing from the iTunes pull-down menu after having tried both authorizing and not authorizing from the previous error window
Restoring my iPhone, both to a previous backup and as a "new" phone
Deauthorizing this computer, rebooting and reauthorizing
Going into my iTunes account and deauthorizing ALL computers (even though this IS my only authorized computer), rebooting and reauthorizing
About the only thing that I HAVEN'T tried yet (and I'm considering it) is to delete ALL of the apps both from my iPhone and my computer and then re-downloading them all, but I don't see why that would work any better. Also, I have tried changing my sync options back and forth between a "cabled" sync and a wi-fi sync, as well as changing my backup from my computer to iCloud and back again, etc. etc. etc.
I'm out of ideas to try!
Any suggestions on how to make this stop?
    Hardware stuff:
    iPhone 4 with iOS5
    Dell XPS, Windows 7 Ultimate
    iTunes 10.5.0.142
Apple Software Update says all are up-to-date
    Windows Update says all up-to-date

I'm having a similar problem whenever I purchase an app on my iOS 5 iPhone and then sync it.
When I setup my iOS 5, I used my mobileme e-mail address and then was informed that I had to combine it or something (I just can't remember exactly).  The upshot is that I think I somehow have a different username associated with my iPhone.  I don't have any problems with apps that I had before the iOS 5 upgrade as well as no problems if I purchase the app through iTunes on the computer and then sync my iPhone.  This problem only crops up if I purchase something on my iPhone.
    Help.

  • App authorization

I just authorized a new iPhone app.  In the process I was asked to enter security questions and answers as well as another email address for error contact.
Subsequently, I received an email that asked me to verify the new security information.  it came from [email protected]  I answered the questions and now wonder if this is a valid apple corporation address?
    Pls advise.

  • Download Aperture today and was never emailed the serial number. Listed as a purchase on the app store but no other info. Please help!

Downloaded Aperture from the Apps store, an it is listed there as an installed purchase. Never got an email with the serial number and it thinks it is  trial version. Please help

If you bought from the App Store (and you could only have done that if your profile is incorrect, it ways you are running 10.5.7) there is no serial number. Apps authorize using the appleid used to purchase them.
So what makes you think the app  thinks its a trial version? Has the trial version been installed on your system at anytime in the past?

  • Can't authorise apps in iTunes Yosemite

Almost everything in Yosemite is a total failure. After a week of barely working I eventually installed a clean copy of Yosemite and behold, tons of issues, errors, unpminingful alerts and now iTunes and synching issues. It seems like Yosemite as totally screwed user accounts.
So today, after finally getting things working (wifi, bluetooth etc) I am trying to backup my iPhone (4s) using iTunes. I am getting this annoying Authorisation (Microsoft style) window telling me that my Mac is authorised (I have 5 devices left...yeh!) but then I get another message telling me that I cannot synch the apps since I am not authorised (duh!) and when I type my user ID and password iTunes tell me that it's wrong even though I have used it to login to the Mac and about a million times before. What the ****???

    Hi michagoldfine,
It sounds like you have had a challenge with the Yosemite transition.
Glad you have most of it working.
For your app authorization it looks like the message is focusing on 3 apps including "LinkedIn".  Were those purchased with a different Apple ID than your primary ID?.  That would explain the authorization message.
To check whch account they were purchased with, please see
Recovering a forgotten iTunes Store account name - Apple Support
    Open iTunes
Highlight one of the items you have purchased (You can find your purchases in your Purchases playlist).
    Choose File > Get Info.
    Click the Summary tab.
The Account Name area will list the account used to purchase the item. Unless you have changed accounts, this is your iTunes Store account name.

If you bought the iTunes Store content on your device using multiple Apple ID accounts, you'll need to authorize the computer for each one.

  • From 3GS to 4S

I have recently got the new iphone 4S and restored it from my 3GS backup. But when I open apps, they quit and return back to the home screen (no matter what and how many apps there were). After I restored it, the problem is solved. What happened?

This has happened to quite a few people and is related to App authorization on the new device.
The solution recommended by Apple is much less drastic than the one you did. Just download any new (free or paid app) from the AppStore on the device and all other apps will start working again.

  • Send paypal subscription amount to new recipient instead of old recipient

We need to create web app, we want paypal account holder to authorize web app to send money from paypay holder account on behalf of paypal account holder. Using this way how we can send subscription amount to new recipient instead of old one. Because one of my client saying that this paypal stuff has been implemented in https://www.jvzoo.com/, Here user can give app authorization to pay to any paypal account essentailly authorization is for app to pay monthly $X .
For example in jvzoo.com , make vendor account set subscription for 1 day for $0.01 then pay from other paypal account that $0.01 then switch vendor paypal account (must not be same and the one from which you pay) and you will get money to 2nd (new) vendor account
I need your help and guidence for implement the above paypal stuff in my website.

Try rebuilding that account's inbox. Select the specific account's inbox, then on the menubar, under Mailbox, choose Rebuild (at the very bottom). If you have more than one email account, you will have to expand the inbox to show the individual email accounts' inboxes.
You may want to first copy your Library's Mail and Mail Download folders to your Desktop, and the file com.apple.mail.plist from your Library's Preferences folder. That way, if something unexpected happens, you can just move those copies back into their original locations and all will be as it was.

  • Best ways to restore iTunes?

I admit, I don't spend much times using iTunes. I have about 300 songs I really like, they're on my iPod and IPhone. However, I recently had need to use djay, and realized that after many, many upgrades my iTunes was showing both 9,800+ songs and several thousand "dead" tracks. Deep (and painful) examination showed that since before 2006, songs have been shuffled (and then vanished), renamed (both with numerical prefixes and post fixes), most of the purchased "Amotion" album has been reduced to zero kb, except for the tracks on my iPod/iPhone; several podcasts vanished, only to reappear with slightly different names and some had even been doubled and then acquired new advertisements that are not there in the originals; anyway...
After too much grief, I now have a new separate folder with 5700 songs and podcasts that I'm pretty sure are the originals (and another with almost 3000 renamed duplicate tracks that were just wandering around inside the iTunes library unchaperoned or accounted for).
Probably unrelatedly, iTunes has taken to randomly popping open and then refusing to stay closed, even to the point of canceling shut down and requiring a forced shut down.
Adding the originals back into iTunes will presumably just increase the number of doubled songs and do nothing to clear out all the duplicates that are in the library, but apparently unremarked by the database. Deleting everything risks losing iPhone apps, authorizations, restores and other functions which may also be in there somewhere.
Are there any suggestions as to how to end up with a decent iTunes library that won't send djay screaming into the night and will sit happily on its external HD without further undue corruption?

Well, you'll need to reinstall iTunes and the iPod updater.
Did you happen to save the iTunes library file?
What are the iTunes library files?

Still looking for solutions. Looks like many Z-W88 users are having trouble with iPhone only. Assistant does not ask for pairing code, just ask confirmation of a six digit number or Bluetooth device.
Also this problem is more common on recent iOS versions.
There is not info about how to force iPhone to ask for pairing code, and support at stores have no idea how to make it work either, so I'm kind of stuck with this.
If anyone have any ideas I'm open to them...
    Thanks :)

  • Where is my aperture serial number?

I'm getting a prompt for my name and Aperture serial number from installation.   I bought Aperture from the App store and have none of the packaging the prompt asks me to check.   What's up?   After two years of using this application I now can't get at my photos.

If you bought from the Mac App Store, the one you access using the App Store.. app then there is no serial number. The app authorizes with your Apple ID and should never ask for a serial number.
If you bought it from the Apple on-line store which you access via the web browser then you would have been sent a serial number by email when you downloaded Aperture.
If yu have been using the app for two years what circumstanses are causing you to need to be installing it now? Have you had a drive replaced or got a new system?  Any information you can supply will make it more likely that someone will be able to help.

  • Uthorization schemes between different applications

    Hi
I have a main application from which the user can go to different applications (through tabs).
I have authorization scheme set for the main application.
When I try to use these (main app) authorization schemes in the other sub applications, they doesn't work.
Is there any way we can globalize the authorization scheme in the main application so that they can be used by different apps ???
Or share the main applications authorization schemes with the sub applications.
    Thanks.

    machan wrote:
    Hi,
I don't want to maintain the same authorization scheme at two different places.
So, I was thinking if I can use the main apps auth scheme in the sub apps without actually coping them into the sub apps !!!That's pretty simple, Create authorization scheme in your master app and then in all sub apps create the authorization > As a Copy of an Existing Authorization Scheme > select your master app.
Once you have copied > Edit the same and > select the master authorization scheme name for Reference Master Authorization Scheme From > make sure you check the refresh check box.
Repeat the above process for all sub apps you want. (You can subscribe as many sub apps as you like)
So now on wards you don't have to maintain the authorization scheme in sub apps, just have to make changes to the one in master app and just publish the changes, that will apply those changes to the all sub apps subscribed for that scheme.
