CE 7.2 NWDS wdp ws client user authentication error

Hello CE 7.2  experts !
I am running a CE 7.2 sp 01 env with NWDS. In my landscape I have some webservices running on PI 7.1.
I am trying to develop a webdynpro webservice client. When run gets user authentication errors.
I have configured the Service Groups, provider systems, http destinations etc for this webservice.
After I have successfully build and deployed the wdp app I am getting error on the wdp gui screen like this:
Exception on execution of web service with WSDL URL 'http://xxxxxxx.lxx.xxxx.xxx:50000/dir/wsdl?p=sa/595aaad7bedb3cf89546e4651ea9954d' with operation 'GetBudgetRequest_out' in interface 'GetBudgetRequest_out'
And in log trace:

  • Show repository gives "user authentication error"

    Hello
    I am running ACS 5.4, When I try a "show repository <repository_name>" command I get "user authentication error" however I have admin status. Any suggestions?
    Thanks

    Hi,
    Can you share the show running-config from the ACS.
    Just  to clarify, the admin role on the ACS is not important, the user that  you have mentioned in the repository configuration should be present on  the respective respository and the password should be correct.
    eg:
    repository ftp
    url ftp://1.1.1.1/
    user ed password plain ed
    The user name ed should be there on the ftp server and the password should be correct.
    nothing to do with the admin role on the ACS if that is what you meant.

  • User authentication errors

    I have the following set up as a very basic user authentication system (without using databases):-
    * a html file using forms to enter the username and password
    * a jsp file which contains the following:
    <jsp:useBean id="login" scope="page" class="login" >
    <jsp:setProperty name="login" property="*" />
    </jsp:useBean>
    <HTML>
    <head>
    <title>Processing login request</title>
    </head>
    <h1>Login request</h1>
    <%
    String name = request.getParameter("Username");
    String passwd = request.getParameter("Password");
    String result = login.loginUser(name, passwd);
    if (result.equalsIgnoreCase("validuser"))
    %>
    <jsp:forward page="Anypage.htm"/>
    <%
    else
    %>
    <h2>Invalid username / password</h2>
    <%
    %>
    </body></html>
    * and finally a java file which contains the following:
    import java.io.*;
    import javax.servlet.*;
    import javax.servlet.http.*;
    import java.util.*;
    public class login
    //the arrays names and password should have the same number of entries
    private static String[] names = {"Bob", "Bill"};
    private static String[] password = {"a1357", "b9876"};
    public String loginUser(String name, String passwd)
    boolean user = false; //assume the username is not valid
    int j = 0;
    for (j = 0; j < names.length; j++)
    if (name.equalsIgnoreCase(names[j]))
    user = true;
    break;
    //check for password
    if (user)
    if (passwd.equalsIgnoreCase(password[j]))
    return "validuser";
    return "invaliduser";
    My problem is this. When I enter any username and password, I get the following errors.......
    Error: 500

    login = (login) Beans.instantiate(this.getClass().getClassLoader(), "login");
    ^
    3 errors
    can anyone tell what is wrong and recommend how I fix it? Thanks.

    Make sure you that the file login.java is in your WEB-INF/classes directory and then import the class into your jsp page using the <%@page %> directive:
    i.e
    <%@page import="login" %>
    Also, it isn't a good idea to use a variable with the exactly same name as one of your classes. Captialise the first letter in your class names.
    For instance use:
    public class Login()
    rather than:
    public class login()
    So that you can then code:
    Login login = new Login();

  • User authentication error after a successful authentication

    Hi,
    I have configured OAM 10g (10.1.4.3).It uses AD as the Directory server and OHS 11g (11.1.1.6) as the web server.
    Created a policy domain with the resouce URL /test.Created an authentication scheme which has the plugins: credential_mapping, validatepassword and a custom plugin which is a ".dll" file.
    So when i browse the URL http://IP:7777/test (Resource URL in policy domain), it redirects me to "/public/login.html" page which is the login page and resides in the web server. The login page consists of 3 fields: username, password and security code. This performs a 2 factor authentication. The first factor "username + password" is validated against AD, the second factor (username + security code) is validated against RADIUS, the custom plugin takes care of this.
    When the user is redirected to "/public/login.html", i can see the cookies "obFormLoginCookie" and "ObssoCookie" in the browser (mozilla). These 2 cookies are present even before the user authentication.
    User authentication works fine and user is redirected to a page which says "Authentication successful". This page doesn't have a logout button, you just have to close the page and login again.
    The next time when the user browses the URL "http://IP:7777/test (resource URL in Policy domain), it ideally has to redirect to "/public/login.html" where you have the form, but it throws an error saying "Not Found.The requested URL /test isn't found". But when i directly access the login page "/public/login.html", it would give you the login page and when i enter the credentials, this time it says "Not Found.The requested URL /access/dummy.cgi isn't found.
    /access/dummy.cgi" is the action URL present in the login page, the same is present in the authentication schemes.
    But when i clear the cookies, and login again, this time the authentication would be successful. So, i will always have to clear the cookies and login, which i think isn't feasible. Is the above mentioned error message expected? I just Couldn't understand the behaviour of these cookies in this context.
    Any ideas/suggestions would be really helpful to me.
    Thanks.

  • User authentication error with Proxy Java Calling web Service in XI

    Hello,
    I have deploy a Web Service in SAP XI 3.0. within a SOAP sender adapter.
    I have also created the Proxy Java Class to access the webservice in the Developer Studio and a Plain Java Class (only with a method main) which uses the proxy classes to consume the web service.
    But when I launch the program a get the next error message:
    java.rmi.RemoteException: Service call exception; nested exception is:
         com.sap.engine.services.webservices.jaxrpc.exceptions.InvalidResponseCodeException: Invalid Response Code: (401) Unauthorized.
         at com.everis.serviciosweb.xi.MI_OUT_STATUSBindingStub.MI_OUT_STATUS(MI_OUT_STATUSBindingStub.java:73)
         at com.everis.llamadas.invocacionWSStatus.main(invocacionWSStatus.java:76)
    Caused by: com.sap.engine.services.webservices.jaxrpc.exceptions.InvalidResponseCodeException: Invalid Response Code: (401) Unauthorized.
         at com.sap.engine.services.webservices.jaxrpc.wsdl2java.soapbinding.MimeHttpBinding.handleResponseMessage
    Where MI_OUT_STATUSBindingStub is my Stub Class.
    I have tried to set USERNAME_PROPERTY and PASSWORD_PROPERTY at runtime from my Stub class to the values that I use to access SAP XI (Integration Repository & Integration Directory) but it still doesn't´t work.
    Have anyone a solution?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
        finally I have fixed it.
    The root of the problem was on the way that I proceed with the generation of wsdl in Integration Directory.
    The second step in the wizard for generation of wsdl ask for a url to call the web service and gives you an option to complete the url automatic. I have use this option and it have proposed my an url of type http://<host>:<port>/sap/xi/engine?entry=.......
    But the SOAP adapter call is in the form http://<host>:<port>/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?channel=<party>:<business service>:<channel>
    So using this type of url in the generation of wsld solves all the problems.
    Regards,
    Antonio.

  • MSAD upgrade to 2008 R2 - user authentication - HFM FDM 9.3 DM 11.1

    Looking to see if planned MSAD upgrade from 2003 to 2008 R2 will require any HFM, FDM or Disclosure Management administration to avoid possible user authentication errors? I understand they are compatible, but that doesn't necessarily mean connections will be uninterrupted. Anyone been there?

    What was the error in the schema update utility?
    The schema update log would be in the outbox\logs directory of the FDM application that is being upgraded.

  • Creating NEW CLIENT,USER and PASSWORD Please

    Hi ..
    I am having this problem ,I am from SD-module. I am trying to work with sending and receiving IDOC's . Here i have problem with creating another logical system.could u please assist me in creating another client/user/password on my existed system.so that i can be able to send an idoc from one logical system to another logical system.i would appreciate your efforts.
    regards,
    SURIYA.

    Hi
    You can create a client using transaction code SCC4. Then you need to perform a client copy, use transcation SCCL to perform a local client copy from client 000 using SAP_ALL/SAP_CUST profile.
    Once you are done with you need to check whether the parameter login/no_automatic_user_sapstar is set to false (0). This can be achived in transaction code RZ10. You will have to restart the SAP server if the parameter value is altered(if not already 0).
    Once the parameter is set then u can login to the client using user SAP* and password "pass". For performing client copy u will log into the destination client that is the client newly created and using SCCL perform the client copy.
    Using BD54 u can create a logical system and in transaction SCC4 you can assign this logical system to the new client.
    Once you are done with client copy then DDIC user will also be there with the master password given during installation time.
    Using transaction SU01 you can create new users according to ur need and assign the roles/profiles as required.
    Once this is done you can peform the IDOC sending and recieveing activity in between those clients.
    If any more queries feel free to ask.

    Hi,
    To set up a new client, from the SAP standard menu choose:
    Tools - Administration -Administration - Client administration - Client maintenance
    But usually the creation of the clients is taken care of by the basis administrators.
    Basis Components - Distribution (ALE) -  Sending and Receiving Systems -Logical Systems
    To define the logical systems in the distribution environment, choose Define Logical System.
    My advice is contact basis, coz they deal with realtime administration

  • What is the option client certificate for user authentication used for?

    Hi All,
    I have to work on a FTPS - XI -SAP scenario.
    I can see an option for client certificate for user authentication when security is enabled for the FTP adapter. what exactly is this option used for?
    P.S: I went through sap help but couldnt quite understand.

    Thanks a lot Mark.
    So for a FTPS -> XI -> SAP scenario the following settings are required.
    1. I have to create a certificate in Visual Admin for the XI server , send a csr to a CA and get it signed by them, and i have to add this to the ssl_service view.
    2. I have to hand over the public key to the FTPS server & this key will be used for encryption of the file
    the above 2 steps are mandatory.
    If i choose to use the client certificate option , i have to get the client certificate from the FTPS server and add it into the TrustedCAs list. This certificate is just to imply that the client is what it claims to be.
    Will this certificate be used for encryption?
    To make it clear let me put it this way. The certificate created in the XI Server is used for encryption and also for ascertaining that the its what it claims to be.
    The clients certificate option is used only to make sure that the client is what its claiming to be & this is not used for encryption?

  • Setup Java system directory server 6 client for user authentication

    I am trying to set up a native LDAP client for sun directory server 6 for network based user authentication. I checked the sun doc for naming service (LDAP) and the documentation are for setting up LDAP client for directory server 5. Is there any documentation for setting up LDAP client for directory server 6? Or the documents for setting LDAP client for directory server 5 is still good for 6? Particularly, I want to use SSL communication between server and client.

    Hi,
    could be one of the other 'bad jokes' of DS/ldapclient because the documentation describes a lot of stuff about profiles etc. but: you need some special schema files to use the whole stuff and they are not installed with Solaris or DS (and they include the NisDomainObject). I had to search for them in the internet. They are also printed in the documentation. Save them in your server's config/schema directory as i.e. 61DUAConfigProfile.ldif and 62nisDomain.ldif and try idsconf again (maybe you have to cleanup something).
    I test and prepare DS6 here, and we will use it in production too. I hadn't any problem with it and it has some important advantages over DS5.2. But we won't have a huge directory so I can't tell you anything more about it.

  • Client user ID

    I am using the 5.0 version of the VPN client. We are connecting to a 3030 concentrator. Once the client has connected is there any way to determine the user name that was used to log in?

    Refer to Configuration Information for an Administrator of VPN client configuration guide for more details
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/secursw/ps2308/products_administration_guide_chapter09186a008015cfd8.html#1130777
    Use the Configuration | User Management | Users | Add or Modify screen to configure a VPN Client user:
    Step 1 Enter a User Name, Password, and Verify Password. VPN Client users need a user name and password to authenticate when they connect to the VPN Concentrator; see "Gathering Information You Need" in Chapter 2 of the VPN Client User Guide for your platform.
    Step 2 Under Group, select the group name you configured under the section "Creating an IPSec Group."
    Step 3 Carefully review and configure other attributes under General and IPSec. Note that if you are adding a user, the Inherit? checkboxes refer to base-group attributes; if you are modifying a user, the checkboxes refer to the user's assigned-group attributes.
    Step 4 Click Add or Apply, and save the configuration.

  • Get the current client-user password

    Hello,
    I implement the following code:
      IWDClientUser user = WDClientUser.getCurrentUser();
      String name = user.getFirstName() + " " + user.getLastName();
    that works without any problems.
    But I need also the password of the current client-user.
    Is it possible to get the password?
    Patrick

    Patrick,
    you mean a "login"? the hash-value won't help you, because as Dominik already mentioned: it's a <b>one-way</b> has, that means you can derive the hashcode from the password and not vice versa.
    your solution would be e.g. to implement a saplogonticket authentication in your second web-server.

  • The version of the ADF Essentials Client user library, 12.1.3.0.41.140521.1008, does not match ADF facet version 11.1.1.

    Hi,
    I downloaded the latest OEPE Pack 12.1.3 and the latest adf-essentials-client libs.
    I tried to create a new ADF-Project in Eclipse with Glassfish.
    I added the essentials-client libs and then i get this error:
    The version of the ADF Essentials Client user library, 12.1.3.0.41.140521.1008, does not match ADF facet version 11.1.1.

    Andy,
    ADF Essentials 12.1.3 only support GF 3.1 officially. So please plan on using GF 3.1 version

  • I want to get desktop path for client user using webutil

    oracle database 11g
    oracle forms 10 g
    client windows
    i want to get desktop path for client user using webutil
    as i want to save file in this path

    To get the user's path to their Desktop is a two step process.  First, you have to echo the %USERPROFILE% to a output file and secondly, read the directory from the output file in to Forms.  The code would look similar to the following:
    /* When-Button-Pressed trigger */
    DECLARE
      v_temp_path VARCHAR2(250);
      v_temp_file VARCHAR2(12) := 'webutil.log';
      f_file Client_Text_IO.File_Type;
    BEGIN
      Client_Host('cmd /c echo %USERPROFILE%\Desktop > c:\'||v_temp_file);
      f_file := Client_Text_Io.FOpen('c:\'||v_temp_file, 'R');
    Client_Text_Io.Get_Line(f_file,v_temp_path);
    Client_Text_Io.FClose(f_file);
       b_dummy := WebUtil_File.Delete_File('C:\'||v_temp_file);
      --At this point, you have the path stored in the v_temp_path variable.
      --You can assign this variable to a block item or reference it directly in your code.
    END;
    When you reference the value of the v_temp_path, don't forget to wrap the value in double-quotes (" ") becuase the path will have spaces.  Since your plan is to write a file to the user's desktop, your call to FOPEN will look  like this:
    f_file := Client_Text_Io.FOpen('"'||v_temp_file||'"','W');
    Hope this helps,
    Craig...
