Center image in a display

Hi,
In my project, I have to display 2D images in a display indicator. I change with succes the zoom factor, so one dimension of the image (the largest) fit with the display. For the other dimension (the smallest) I would like to place the image at the middle of the display.
Therefore, I calculate the offset that I need but when I send the offset to the "draw unflattened pixmap" VI, the image is shifted but not exactly on the middle... See the image below:
I attached my VIs :

OK sorry, I finally find the errors :
- I didnt take into account the zoom factor in the offset calculation. I didn't know that the offset was set according to the pixel in the image, I thought that it was set according to the display length.
- I had to recreate my display indicator as if the old one was corrupted by too much manipulations, and there was an additional offset even with the right calculation...

  • Desktop Image does not display correctly when centered

    Have been doing a fair amount of Macro photography in high resolution lately. I often take the best close-up images and put them on my second monitor which is a Cinema Display. As the photos I take are 20MP when I select the images and center them, I *am* looking to in effect 'zoom in' and have the image displayed large.
    This works just dandy in Snow Leopard, apparently not so well - if at all - in Mavericks.
    What is the limiting issue here that an image no longer displays under the 'Centered' setting if that puts the edges of the frame beyond the display's edges? This is what I am talking about. You can see from the first three grabs, the desktop photo changes with each setting but stops in it's tracks with the last.

    That last photo would be stunning on my desktop if it was actually displaying as it shows in the Desktop Preference control panel.
    Any ideas?

    Hi Paul
    You're more likely to get an answer to this if you post in the UNIX forum.
    By the looks of it, you may have a problem with your fonts.

  • Images are not displaying(PHP MySQL)

    Hi,
    I've created a database table (MySQL) to store file path of images stored in a folder but the only problem is that the images are not displaying on the web page. Here's the procedure that I've used:
    -Placed the cusor at the insertion point (div).
    -Then selected 'Insert image' from the insert menu.
    -Selected 'data sources' in the select image dialogue box.
    -Selected the 'path' field in the recordset containing the image details of the images I want to display.
    -Then OK.
    Here's the code generated:
    <td colspan="3" nowrap="nowrap"><img src="<?php echo $row_rsBanner['path']; ?>" width="950" height="141"/></td>
    Here's the client side code generated:
    <td colspan="3" nowrap="nowrap"><img src="C:/xampp/htdocs/Dirwebclient/banner3A_mod.png" width="950" height="141"/></td>
    But the funniest thing is that if I pull the image as a background of the <td> (table data) it displays perfectly.
    Here's the code:
    <td colspan="3" nowrap="nowrap" background="<?php echo $row_rsBanner['path']; ?>" width="950" height="141"></td>
    Can someone please give an idea of how I can pull the image using the <img> tag and not as a background.

    Here's the source code from the browser for pulling the photo;
    <td height="126" colspan="3"><p align="center"><img src="C:/xampp/htdocs/Dirwebclient/banner3A.png" alt="jpeg" width="950" height="124" /></p></td>
    And here's the source code for the whole page (It's quite long because I had not yet mastered CSS);

  • I cannot get rid of an annoying blue box on an image link that displays from a hyperlink in my dbase

    I have a hyperlink in my SQL database which displays from a recordset on my page. It has an image link which displays with a very annoying blue border around it.
    Because it is not an image (as such), I cannot just select it and change the border to 0.
    When I go to CSS, it just lets me set the border of the table it is presented in!!!
    Can somebody point me in the right direction, Please!

    Hi, this is the code I see in my view as an SQL statement calls for the link from the database:
    <td height="37" align="center" style="padding: 5px;"><?php echo $row_rsProducts['Buy Now']; ?>
              <td height="37"id="ShopButton"align="center"style="padding: 5px;"><br /></td>
    Don't know whether I am doing it right but this is where I have put the code in the head section, still not working and got the grey border.

  • Component image not getting displayed in Portal

    Hi All,
    I have added a jpg image to MIME folder in my component and used it as source for Image UI and also as a separator in Breadcrumb. When I run this web dynpro application in portal, the image is not getting rendered. I am getting cross mark instead of the image. But the image is getting displayed if I run the application as a stand alone application from SE80 -> Test. Once I do this, the image starts appering even in portal and again disappears after sometime.
    Could you please help me to resolve this issue?
    Thanks & Regards,
    Vishweshwara P.K.M.

    Vishweshwara,
    I hope you referred the MIME object in below way.
    '/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/ZCOMP_EPI/SELECTED.JPEG'
    Where zcomp_epi is my component name and selected.jpg is mime object name. Check and let me know
    Regards

  • Adf images not  getting displayed in th browser.

    Hi,
    I have image tag in my jsff file.
    The image is shown on preview.
    But when i run the application , the image is not displayed.
    Am using Firefox 3.6.6 and IE 7
    Tried using the following tags:
    <af:activeImage id="image" source="/WEB-INF/Images/logo.jpg"/>
    <af:image id="img" source="/WEB-INF/Images/logo.jpg"
    shortDesc="logo"/>
    Do i have enable anything for this ?

    Move your images to a folder outside WEB-INF. Anything under the WEB-INF folder cannot be accessed directly by the user. However, you can use a servlet to access images under WEB-INF.

  • PDF Watermark - logo image is not displayed in ibr converted pdf

    Hi
    I have enabled pdf watermark administration and configured image watermark with rule, if the content type is document then the image watermark is to be applied but it is not displayed to the converted word document to pdf by IBR.
    If i change image watermark layer to "over", then image watermark is displayed, but word are displayed under the logo image watermark, so it is difficult to study the document.
    If the native file is pdf, then its image watermark is working fine.
    Thanks
    Deepak

    Hi ,
    I think this could be caused by the following :
    Check the factor set for Transparency and if it is completely opaque (Transparency =0%) then the converted PDF's will not show watermarks which has Layer set to UNDER.
    To get the watermarks displayed PPT's will need to be set to Transparency = 100% .
    The intention of the UNDER watermarking layer is that it should appear"behind" whatever is in the content layer.If the content layer completely covers the page and is opaque, then nothing behind it will be visible,including watermarks.The only reasonable solution is to check the above mentioned value before submitting the PPT's for conversion so that users are aware of this behavior for PPT's
    The above description if for PPT's where in this was found to be caused by the transparency factor of native PPT . If it is a word document then check for the same setting and set to 100% , then test .
    Hope this helps .
    Thanks,
    Srinath

    Hi,
    according to your code, you define a local variable display_url in the layout of your page but without setting any value:
    <% DATA:     display_url    TYPE  STRING. %>
    <iframe src="<%= display_url %>" width="100%" height="500px">
      </iframe>
    I guess, you have also a page attribute or local variable in your eventHandler named display_url.
    So the local definition in the layout overrides the global page attribute an its value.
    Use just the page attribute to set the value on initialization and display it in the layout.
    Best regards,

  • Using a devices camera and adding the image to the display list

    Hi,
    My students and I have not been able to make an AIR app that can take a picture using the devices camera and then add the image to the display list. We are able to open the devices camera and of course take a picture, but that's it.
    We've been using these two tutorials/examples:
    http://help.adobe.com/en_US/FlashPlatform/reference/actionscript/3/flash/media/CameraUI.ht ml
    and
    http://tv.adobe.com/watch/adc-presents/input-for-mobile-devices-camera/
    I've uploaded our project: http://www.dayvid.com/professor/camera.zip
    Can someone help us out?
    Thanks!
    Below is the main document class:
    package  {
    import flash.desktop.NativeApplication;
    import flash.display.Loader;
    import flash.display.MovieClip;
    import flash.display.StageAlign;
    import flash.display.StageScaleMode;
    import flash.events.ErrorEvent;
    import flash.events.Event;
    import flash.events.IOErrorEvent;
    import flash.events.MediaEvent;
    import flash.media.CameraUI;
    import flash.media.MediaPromise;
    import flash.media.MediaType;
    import flash.events.MouseEvent;
         public class Main extends MovieClip{
              private var deviceCameraApp:CameraUI = new CameraUI();
              private var imageLoader:Loader;

                   if( imagePromise.isAsync )
                    result_txt.text = "Asynchronous media promise.";
                    imageLoader = new Loader();
                    imageLoader.contentLoaderInfo.addEventListener( Event.COMPLETE, asyncImageLoaded );
                    imageLoader.addEventListener( IOErrorEvent.IO_ERROR, cameraError );
                    imageLoader.loadFilePromise( imagePromise );
                   else
                    result_txt.text = "Synchronous media promise.";
                    imageLoader.loadFilePromise( imagePromise );

              private function captureCanceled( event:Event ):void
                   result_txt.text = "Media capture canceled.";
                   NativeApplication.nativeApplication.exit();
              private function asyncImageLoaded( event:Event ):void
                   result_txt.text = "Media loaded in memory.";
                   showMedia( imageLoader );
              private function showMedia( loader:Loader ):void

              private function cameraError( error:ErrorEvent ):void
                   result_txt.text = "Error:" + error.text;
                   NativeApplication.nativeApplication.exit();

    Hi,
    Do I have to add the picture to the cameraroll in order to add it to the AIR apps display list?
    Both examples from Adobe claim that their examples work. Do they not?
    In the example, the event handler asyncImageLoaded is never called. The output text field shows -   result_txt.text = "Asynchronous media promise."; So the Event.COMPLETE is being added. But I don't think it's being dispatched.
    Any ideas?

  • 3.1 Bug? - Images don't display properly after upgrade to 3.1 from 3.0

    When pages are displayed after the upgrade, the image appears the first time the page is opened. Once a user goes to another page, then come back to the page with the image, the image is no longer displayed.
    This happens when the browser is set to "Check for newer versions of stored pages". When it checks for the new version, the image is not displayed.
    This looks like a Bug? Is someone working on a fix for this?
    Thanks.

    Scott,
    Thanks for this information. It is very helpful. May I put you through one last contortion, please?
    I would like to see what information is being passed in the HTTP header in the request for one of these broken images. If you have Live HTTP Headers or Firebug for Firefox, or Fiddler for IE, this should hopefully be easy. You don't seem technically challenged in the least, but just for the record, here's what I did using Firefox:
    1) Ran the Timesheets application
    2) For the very first icon on the left "My Timesheets", I right-clicked my mouse and chose "Copy Image Location"
    3) I opened up a new tab in Firefox and pasted the URL and then hit enter to retrieve the image
    4) I turned on Live HTTP headers and then clicked Refresh in my browser.
    I am most interested in the If-Modified-Since HTTP header. The full request on my system was:
    GET /pls/apx11c/wwv_flow_file_mgr.get_file?p_security_group_id=191046216955701077&p_fname=eba_timesheets.png HTTP/1.1

    can you please setup an example on apex.oracle.com and let me know the login credentials for the workspace. I think that will be the easiest to sort this out.

  • Image does not display on MacBook Pro (does on PowerBook G4!)

    I created a slide in Keynote on my PowerBook G4 with an image dropped in (a pdf, I can't remember whether it was originally cut and past or dragged and dropped in). When transferring the Keynote presentation to a new macBook Pro (copying via a USB thumb drive), the presentation opens but the image does not display (everything else is OK).
    The weird thing is that the image does show up in the thumbnail in Navigator View. It disappears in Light Table View, and then is gone when I return back to Navigator View. However, when I close and reopen the file, it appears again in the thumbnail.
    When I click on the area where the image should be, the open squares show up around something. If I try to copy this object and past into another application (like Photoshop), I only get a blank image.
    I have managed to get around this by laboriously copying the affected images on my PowerBook into separate pdf files, then transferring those files to my MacBook Pro and dropping them into place. However, I know I will find a missing image at some later date, when I no longer have access to my old PowerBook.
    How to solve this problem?
    P.S. Both machines are running Keynote 4.0.2 and Mac OS 10.5.2.

    Thanks for taking a look!
    The original image was created using Photoshop to cut out an image from a pdf file. Then it was either cut and pasted or dragged into Keynote.
    Here are screenshots of what I get when I open the "droppedimage-17.pict" file (shown in the Show Package Contents window) using QuickTime on both machines. For the PowerBook:
    http://www.cems.umn.edu/download/attachments/Powerbook.png
    For the MacBook Pro:
    http://www.cems.umn.edu/download/attachments/MacBook_Pro.png
    Strangely, the Powerbook version looks like a correct grey-scale image, while the MacBook Pro looks like a B&W image.

    Hi jairohernan ,
    use WORKSPACE_IMAGES or APP_IMAGES instead of IMAGE_PREFIX
    <img src ="#WORKSPACE_IMAGES#LOGO.jpg" />
    Note : Give More Details to get quick solution.

  • New "Photos" is a piece of JUNK!  How do I get my image numbers to display as imported like they used to? Can no longer make Events or view old events as before either.

    How do I get my image numbers to display as imported like they used to? Can no longer make Events or view old events as before either.
    If this is replacing Aperture and previous iPhoto it is USELESS...WAY fewer options for editing available. New "Photos" is a piece of JUNK!

    Hi.
    I have just migrated my library from Aperture to photos. All seems to have gone smoothly, except for one thing. All of my photos are 'untitled', whereas in both Aperture, and previously iPhoto, the filename was used for the title. If I hit CMD+I and get info, the title is still there as the filename, as I use the filename for all titles.
    Is there a way to batch copy all filenames as photo titles, this was done automatically in Aperture and iPhoto, as when photos were imported the filename was used automatically.
    Any help appreciated.
    Thanks.

  • Slideshow images will not display correctly on mobile phone

    Hello,
    I have a website which I used several slideshows, in areas I would typically just used a rectangle and fill with photo.  This was done because my client wants to be able to update the images through business catalyst.  Unfortunately, when viewed on a mobile phone (I am using iOS 7) the slide show images do not display correctly.
    What can be done to fix this?  Is there another workaround I should try?
    Thanks!

    Hi Nicole
    The images that you are using on parties page are stretched , if you check the image frame you can see that.
    As a result the image frame is stretched over the side image , they are not showing properly. If you resize from Muse end , then also it would not be fixed because Muse remembers the image size as you have inserted and when viewed , Muse stretches the image to original size as how it was inserted.
    Please resize the images outside Muse , use any image editor like Photoshop and then use the exact dimension of the image frame on page.
    This would resolve the issue.
    Thanks,
    Sanjit
