i am a abap certified fresher , still now i didnt attand any interview... many of them telling that abap losed its market they suggest me 2 study EP,but i am not expert in java so is it possible 2 manage EP with out expert knolodge in java... i know litttle bit java as i studided in college........

dont get disheartened. first get atleast some experience in ABAP. after that you can always shift your domain.
Dont worry keep applying , see which are the areas where you are stumbling in your interview and go over them again.

i am a sap certified associate in financial accounting and i have completed my certification successfully last month.I just want to get clarified with some of the questions which i mentioned below.
1.Getting a job as a sap certified fresher is very tough is it so? i have been searching jobs in many job portals for one month but every where i could see there is lot of vacancies only for experienced candidates why not for freshers?

I have also registered in sap careers India. I got a specific user id where only the certified candidates could get but all i need now is mentoring from the people who have pursued their career in sap. I would feel great to all if i have been directed to the right path.

You have to do work hard to get the first job in SAP.
1. Connect with software companies HR's in Linkedin as they share jobs.
2. Follow company pages in Linkedin as they post the jobs in their pages.
3. Follow company pages in Facebook and Twitter as well.
4. List 50 consulting companies through major job portals and talk to consulting HR 3 to 5 people everyday.
5. Connect with most of SAP known guys because fresher walk-ins come to employees inbox.
6. I feel twitter posts are better because when you search in twitter post, it will give exactly email and contact details of job posting.
You need to strike everywhere as something will click for you.

How to create a job thru ABAP program for calling a program with variant???

Hello experts,
can u give me step wise procedure to create jobs for a program with a variant name thru ABAP???
Also, can a transaction can be scheduled as a job to run in background with a variant name???

Hi,
To create a job through ABAP program you can do the following.
Go to Menu bar.
In there, go to SYTSTEM> SERVICES> JOBS--> DEFINE JOB.
Then give the JOB NAME and CLASS in the screen that comes up.
This is how we schedule a program.
Now, to create a variant for a program -
First activate your program in SE38. Then execute it .
Now, click on SAVE button. It will open up the variant creation screen. Give the details there like variant name and value for the fields. Save and come back.

    how to trigger an existing background job( defined in SM36 ) in ABAP program?which fm?
    seems that FM 'JOB_OPEN' / 'JOB_SUBMIT' / 'JOB_CLOSE' can only create a new job.

    now my requirement is that sap has generated one job automatically, and then i will have a job name
'XXX'. and then i want to schedule the job in abap program,. which function module could i use ?
my expected fm is that the system will trigger the job after i give the job name and start condition.
i have tried job_open, but it seems just to create a new job. any advice ?

Hi,
Goto SM37 and see the log if any is there and based on that you can check the code.
you can't debug background job.
Create a Variant for the Program and
Schedule JOB in background:
Go to SM36 create a Job
enter Program and Variant for that program in STEP..
click on Start Condition
Click on DATE and TIME enter date scheduled Start and END times
click on Period Values
Click on HOURLY/WEEKLY etc
CLick on RESTRICTIONS also to use further criteria.
so your job will be scheduled and run as per your requirement.
and in SM37 Transaction check the status of that JOB

Hi, can any one tell me will there be any freelancer jobs for abap to work from home in INDIA. If any of know any information about that please let me know as iam looking for such type of jobs.

It all depends on what vpn appliance / software is being used. For some the administrator must specifically enable OS X to connect - if they have not done that, you are toast.
Your best bet absent giving us an info dump on your set up is to try a forum for that VPN.

Parallel batch jobs from ABAP

Hi all -
Any good suggestions regarding the simplest way to submit and track parallel batch jobs from ABAP? I have used the function modules in function group BTCH (E.g. BP_JOB_CREATE, etc.) in the past with good results but are there any more current and simpler approaches (E.g. class based)? Running WAS 7.0 / ECC 6.0.

I am not aware of the GL jobs, but if a concurrent program is not uncompatible with itself, there is no problem running multiple jobs at the same time.

        report    = 'UPC_BUNDLE_EXECUTE'
        variant   = l_seq.
but I dont know how send the date and time in order to schedule the job.
Does I need use other function?

as far as i have seen the scenario, its too tough to get a job as an fresher in most of the IT companies,
so according to my own experience, you have to search your job in any middle or small scale companies, if you are in any major city , then i will suggest you to look into any infrastructure or real estate company, who have just implemented sap, in your city you have to search for those infrastructure company , those having many project in our out of town, any infrastructure company having many projects in their hands generally implements SAP , and after that they needs some abaper to support their implemented projects.
You can also search your job in any small level company whom have some more branches in other states or cities, these are handy task and may take some times, but will be fruitful to you , if you will succeed in achieving your goal.
If you have any dought, please feel free to revert by specifying the city name you are looking for a job.

if u r new to sap doing certification is the best choice to get employed with a company. ur experience for less than one year will not speak much than ur certification do. so it is always better to go for certification. so that u can get ur job quicker. if certified ur employment is sure in which ever module it may be

If yoy dont have any experience with any module in SAP then it is better to get trained in some good institute and get certified. Then atleast you will be able to compete in the market. But Remember Certification is not the only parameter you require all you need is a good deep understanding on the basics. As we all know hardwork always pays. Put Your effort and persist on it surely you will get the desired result.

I have 2 yrs of IT(Java) Experience.What about the interview, will there be questions about ABAP or my past exp. (Java). As you are looking for a job for an ABAP position, definitely the interviewers should ask questions in ABAP only. They may ask little/minor questions relative to your past experience. So, dont worry about this. Be bold and face the interview with good confidence and spirit. Good Luck......

check ST22 , in that ananlysis screen see for the arrow make from where dump is tiggered .
so here u have to look in.
this error comes when there is type miss match.
