CF8 Tab Layout Problem

I'm having a problem with <cflayout type="tab">. The
issue is that the <div> that contains the layout is initially
hidden on the page and revealed through a javascript function. When
the cflayout is revealed, the tab labels are missing. If the layout
is visible on the page load, the labels display fine. Can anyone
think of a workaround for this? I've attached code to reproduce the
issue.

yep, you are right!
however... removing the ' style="display:none;" ' from your
div and
adding
onload="document.getElementById('myDiv').style.display='none';"
to the <body> tag of your page* seems to fix this...
hmm... well, in
every browser except IE...
* aternatively, you can add
document.getElementById('myDiv').style.display='none'; inside
a /script
html tag right after the closing </div> instead of
adding onLoad to the
/body tag... but this too does not seem to work in IE... i

Problem in scroll tab layout policy

Hi everyone!!
I made a application using tabbedpanes. My problem is when i put
an "x" button for close in the tab title area the scroll tab layout policy
are not working, but if no button it's working.
I need a closable Jtabbedpane with scroll tab policy.
Pls anyone help me.

create a image labels inspite of tabs create panels corresponding to it
add ur needs inside the panel and make it visible according to the tab clicked

Siebel Sales Enterprise 8.0.0.8 - problem with Screen Tab Layout

Hello all !
I create [Manager] Resonsibility and check hide [Opportynities screen] in Screen Tab Layout for [Manager] Resonsibility for Siebel Sales Enterprise.
I added user Bob with [Manager] resonsibility.
But user Bob stiil see Opportunities Screen when log on.
User Bob has no other resonsibilities.
I cannot inactivate Opportynities screen because this screen used by other resonsibilities.
What is cause of with issue?

Did you delete the user preferences of this user prior to your test ?
I also assumed that the default view is not part of Opportunity screen when you log in.

PDF Portfolio Navigator with horizontal tab layout

Hello, Experts
         I am trying to create a PDF Portfolios with horizontal tab layout structure;
         several .NET libraries allowed me to create PDF files with thumbnail layout, but, in order to populate a horizontal tab
         layout, it seems, I would need to create a custom PDF navigator and import it into PDF Portfolio prior to inserting PDF file components ?
        preinstalled navigators look great, but I just need a simple horizontal tab view, where each tab only contains file's name and nothing else;
         buy clicking on each tab - corresponding file would be activated in the viewer
       is there any library of predesigned navigators that I can use ?
        is there any way to extract navigator from one and import it into another PDF portfolio ?
       would I need to use Flash or can this be done via .NET ?

tried to install Portfolio SDK
can't see the Navigator project wizard in Flex Builder ( 4.6 )
The plugins have been extracted to:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Flash Builder 4.6\eclipse\plugins
The NavigatorSupport folder has been extracted to:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Flash Builder 4.6\eclipse and ( just in case ) to
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Flash Builder 4.6\

CSS Layout Problem?

Can someone please help me with a layout problem.
As far as I can tell the page looks as it should in Netscape,
Firefox, etc., but IE6 and 7 refuse to work correctly.
The page I am working on is:

Most of the picture caption and headline of the middle column
is behind the picture. I attempted to force the info with a
seperating div which seems to work sometimes. I doubt that this is
the correct solution. What am I doing wrong?

How to increase the height of a tabbed layout? I do have a form inside a panelTabbed layout which is not fitting inside.Is there any css class available ?

you can set the StretchChildren property on the ShowDetailItem components to make the panel tab to resize the contained children. I set the inline style on a paneltab and the result shows in the rendered output

Layout problem in PDF conversion

Hi all,
i am downloading spool data using the function module CONVERT_ABAPSPOOLJOB_2_PDF. But i am facing layout problem. e.g. RFBILA00(financial statement generation program) has written balancesheet data to the spool. This spool data has some 6 columns. but CONVERT_ABAPSPOOLJOB_2_PDF is writing only first 3 columns to the generated PDF file. i used 'GET_PRINT_PARAMETERS' function module also with values like layout as 'X_65_132' and 'X_90_120'. but no success. if anybody knows the answer, please let me know.

Layout problem - multiple repeating frames

Hi, I have a layout problem, pls help!
Short report description:
- Repeating Frame1 - gives 1 record, contains all other frames, variable vertical elasticity
- - Frame2 - contains all frames beneath - variable vertical elasticity
- - - Frame3 - variable vertical elasticity
- - - - some boilerplates
- - - - Repeating Frame 2 - various number of records, fixed vertical elasticity, height 100
- - - - Repeating Frame 3 - various number of records, fixed vertical elasticity, height 30
- - - - .. other repeating frames ..
When reaching the bottom of a page, and there is not enough room to print a record for Repeating frame 2, a record from Repeating frame 3 is printed in the bottom.
Next page starts with the remaining records from Repeating frame 2.. and then the remaining records from Repeating frame 3.
For example:
Page 1:
Rep frame 2 - Record 1
Rep frame 2 - Record 2
Rep frame 2 - Record 3
Rep frame 3 - Record 1 -- not enough space to print Record 4, so this record is printed
Page 2:
Rep frame 2 - Record 4
Rep frame 2 - Record 5
Rep frame 3 - Record 2
How can i ensure that all records from Rep frame 2 is printed before records from Rep frame 3?

I tried to use anchors, but they had no effect when connecting top of 3 to bottom of 2, got the same layout.
I then tried to create frames with vertical elasticity expand around both rep frame 2 and rep frame 3, and it seems to do the job.

Layout Problem in swings

I have an Layout problem. My Applications consists of a label and a panel in which some more labels are present.
The panel should contain the scrollbar in order to view all the label that excced the size of the panel.This label and a panel should be adjacent to each other.
My problem is, I am not getting the scroll bar to the panel when I am adding the label that excced the size of the panel, when I am adding the label adjacent to this label.

Did you use JScrollPanel? If not, use it.

[solved] layout problem in amarok 2.02

Hi,
Here, I have a bad layout problem with amarok 2.02. Amarok does not fit on my screen which is 1400 pixels large! I cannot reduce the part where the collection is shown. So that it is really unpractical to use.

Well, I tried amarok2-devel 2.0.90-1 but the problem of graphic layout remains similar, no improvement. Is it normall? Maybe amarok is only available for computer with screen >= 1600x1200 or is there an hidden configuration file where I could tweek this?

Urgent: Layout problem in "light inner page"

Hi Experts,
I am facing a problem in portal content area on external facing portal. I see a vertical scroll bar which restricts application from being displayed on entire screen.
I am getting this problem after a patching of EP 7.0, before patching every thing was running fine.
To me it looks like a layout problem in "light inner page", When I use "Light - 1: column (Full width)" layout I get a vertical scroll bar on portal. When I use default layout then this vertical scroll bar disappears but I see an empty navigation bar on left side which is not required.
Can some one advise a solution for this.

Dynamic Tabs Layout

Hello,
I'm using the latest version of JHeadstart (11.1.1.3.35). I have selected Dynamic Tabs layout and everything works fine except that the home page still shows all the groups as a tab in home page. If I click on any of them it will go to the tree menu and dynamic tabs. I have also changed "Content Frirst-Level Menu Tab" to all possible values but it doesn't change anything. Any help would be appreciated.

The home page is just provided as a sample. It is a stand-alone page not a page fragment , so it cannot be used in a region. Since dynamic tabs only display regions, the dynamic tabs cannot be shown on the sample home page.
If you want to have dynamic tabs on your home page, then create a Home group in your application definitiion editor, and check the group-level checkbox "Show as Initial Tab".
