Cfform/cfgrid form submit error

I have a simple grid:
<cfgrid name="testGrid" format="flash"
query="getHistory">
<cfgridcolumn name="idno" header="Employee ID">
</cfgrid>
The grid is populated just fine. When I submit the form
instead of seeing the form variables I am getting the following
error:
The submitted cfgrid form field is corrupt (name:
__CFGRID__NEWFORM__TESTGRID value: __CFGRID__COLUMN__CFGRIDROWINDEX
__CFGRID__DATA__1__CFGRID__COLUMN__IDNO__CFGRID__DATA__3000080)
I've changed columns in the query and no difference. The
error still occurs.
Any ideas on where this error comes from?
We are using CFMX 7.02 on a Windows 2000 Server. Query is
coming from Oracle 8i.
thanks.
Mark

I found the problem. I was calling a custom tag in
application.cfm. This is a CF5 app being upgraded.
<cf_inputFilter scopes="form,url" chars="%&;="
tags="script,object">
Apparently this breaks the posting action of a Flash Form. I
removed the code and now life is good again.

  • Offline pdf Form submit error

    hi,
    i have a form working online thats working great. I was asked to add the possibility to work offline also.
    the problem is:
    i have three servlets. Servlet1 mounts the document and servlet2 to handle the submit. However, i had to implement servlet3 that allows the user to change the document state.
    - servlet1 renders the document blocked/read-only. the user has to press a button to unblock it.
    - this button goes to servlet3, changes the document state on the database, and reloads the document
    - the reload is made by redirecting from servlet3 (that changes the state on database) to servlet1 (mounts the document again, but unlocked)
    online its working. but offline, when opening the document with reader, pressing the unlock button to go to servlet3 i got this warning :
    This document is trying to connect to the site:
    "http address of servlet3 to unlock the document"
    If you trust the site click YES, otherwise click NO
    i pressed YES, obviously, and the document then appears unblocked but on a new reader window. how should i do to make it appear on the same reader window that has the original document?
    thanks

    i investigated and found it works perfect if opened locally in adobe reader, it dont work in opened in chrome browser at website

  • Acrobat 9: Error when PDF form submit with file attachment

    Hi all,
    Hope you can provide some help with my PDF form submit issue. I am getting this error "There is no PDDoc associated with this CosDoc." in Acrobat 9 (Reader and Pro) when I try to submit a PDF form with a file attachment field (the file is specified). The same PDF form works fine in Acrobat 7 or 8 (Reader and Pro) with file attachment.
    If no file attachment is specified (user did not select a file) then the PDF form submits fine in acrobat 9. The form data submission format is in FDF. Same problem if I change to XFDF.
    There are no differences in the problem if the PDF form is created in Acrobat 7 or Acrobat 9, the same submit issue exists in Acrobat 9 but not in the older Acrobat versions.
    Is this a known issue and are there any workarounds/solutions?
    Thanks.

    Sounds like a bug to me. Please report it: http://www.adobe.com/support/feature.html

    Fill the field with 3 digits to see what I mean).

  • Issue with Form submit

    Hi,
    Currently i have a BSP application (page with flow logic) working. Where it has 5 input fields (numc) and based on the quatity entered (On click of SUBMIT button)the calculations are done and final amount is displayed in same screen.
    Requirement: I need to remove the Submit button and enable the Form submit once the user enters value in any of 5 input fields and comes out of that field.
    Currently i tried using JavaScript but with no success.
    i tried attaching onblur event to my input field tag and the function associated with onblur event will do window.form.submit();
    But i'm getting Error in Explorer as "'window.form' is null or not an object"
    In Mozilla as "window.form has no properties"
    I'm not able to post my code.. pls tell me how to do that
    Please guide..

  • Java Script: Form Submit issue.

    Is there a way where I can submit two forms ?
    Thats is submit 2nd form only when the first form is submitted.
    I tried this it works.
    function formSubmit(){
    document.form1.submit(); //Submit First Form
    alert(); //This will stall the execution thus form2 will not be submitted till I click on OK
    document.form2.submit();
    }But If I dont put an alert in between, only the second form is submitted.
    If I put a delay of say 3 seconds in between then it will throw a SOCKET CLOSED error in the action event triggered due to first form submit.
    Well Basically when the Alert pop's up the parent page "STALLS" and thus the form2 does not submit till I click on OK, Is there a way I can stall the browser/Parent JSP page using JAVA SCRIPT ??

    Relax people... Ok I will move my querries else where :) ..
    But whats wrong if somebody can provide me an answer ? I am sure most of you know java script , if you dont know then don't answer simple as that.
    You do know that Sun did not create JavaScript, right? So the Sun forum sites may not be the best place to look for a JavaScript forum " {code}
    You mean to say if something is not from sun I am not supposed to ask a question on that, I agree that this is JAVA Programming forum.

    Thanks,

    You may have hit a bug when passing parameter paramform as "PARAMFORM=yes" or "Paramform=yes", you will get the REP-52007 error. The fix will be available in Reports 9.0.2.1.
    As a work around, please submit the request with all lower case "paramform=yes" and try again.
    Hope this helps,

  • Crystal Report Windows Forms Viewer Error in 1 Workstation after upgrade of PL

    Hi all,
    We just upgraded SAP from 8.82 PL02 to 8.82 PL15.
    Afterwards, in just 1 workstation, Crystal Reports layouts have Crystal Report Windows Forms Viewer error I attach.
    Before the upgrade this error did not happen.
    No permissions or authorizations were changed  in the workstation.
    The Crystal Reports layouts remain working fine in server and in the other workstations.
    In the workstation following are installed:
    - Operating System Windows 7;
    - Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5;
    - SAP Crystal Reports runtime engine for. NET Framework;
    - Crystal Report 2008 Runtime SP6;
    - Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Native Client.
    All, but the operating system, are equal to the other workstations.
    User has edit access to SAP folders, temp and access to the attach path.
    We already uninstalled SAP client and client agent and re-installed it but with no avail.
    Can anyone help me?
    Thanks in advance.
    Best regards,
    Pedro Mariano

    Hi San Xu,
    Thank you for your input.
    However I'm facing problem with each software is suitable.
    I installed SAP Crystal Reports for SAP Business One (CR 2011 V14.0.4.738), but with no avail.
    Thanks in advance.

  • MULTI ITEM ENTRY AT A TIME IN TABULAR FORM SUBMIT ONE TIME

    MULTI ITEM ENTRY AT A TIME IN TABULAR FORM SUBMIT ONE TIME

    No, it wasn't addressed to you but rather the OP - sorry for the confusion.
    I try where possible to point out that without asking a sensible and clear question, posters are unlikely to get sensible and clear answers. A lot of time is wasted on this forum trying to get people to ask questions properly.
    Cheers

  • Reset Form Submit State

    Is it possible to reset the form submit state? I have a page with many input components, some of which are set to "Auto-Submit on Change". When submitting, a new window is opened with the report results.
    I need the user to go back to the original input page and change some of the original input fields. However, when doing so the page is submitted by just changing one of the Auto-Submit input components. I would like to be able to reset the form submit state (or the hyperlink submit state), so that the page is not auto-submitted when changing input fields.
    Thanks,
    Dan

  • InfoPath form, rich text fields, "There was a form postback error" InvalidOperationException, There has been an error while processing the form

    Using InfoPath 2013 browser enabled form.
    I am getting the above error on ALL Infopath Designed Rich Text fields, where the "Cannot be blank" attribute is set.
    To reproduce it, I create a custom list and custom list form with InfoPath 2013. I add 2 Rich Text fields and enable "cannot be blank". To raise the error, I put some data in the RT field. Skip to another field (so focus is changed and a postback
    occurs), then back to original field to delete the contents (to raise the validation).
    I originally thought it was associated with the HTMLCHKR.DLL not being registered (and I have re-registered it just in case), but the exception I get from the ULS logs reads (it is from a list AFTER I have re-registered the DLL):
    There was a form postback error. (User: 0#.w|myDomain\jc, Form Name: Template, IP: , Request: h t t p ://MyWebApp/MySite/Lists/rtAfterHtmlCHkrReg/Item/newifs.aspx?List=2212ff41-77b4-445b-931b-d7e538c9da91&Source=h t t p://MyWebApp/MySite/Lists/rtAfterHtmlCHkrReg/AllItems.aspx&RootFolder=&Web=3db49106-bdca-47bb-b4cd-a549d2d86aa7,
    Form ID: urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:infopath:list:-AutoGen-2015-01-16T21:51:48:853Z, Type: InvalidOperationException, Exception Message: No content generated as the result of the operation.) 8cc5e09c-3665-903b-575a-faaac506c40a
    I noticed that errors associated with the HTMLCHKR.DLL not being registered would have some sort of COM exception (example: TYPE_E_LIBNOTREGISTERED or REGDB_E_CLASSNOTREG)
    I also should mention that this problem started happening about 3 weeks ago. We have extended the web application to handle HTTPS on the intranet zone (we had a reverse proxy project that did not eventuate) - would that cause something? How can I do further
    checking?

    Hi,
    I have done a test in my SharePoint, and I met the same issue with you.
    I created a custom list and custom list form with InfoPath 2013. I added 2 Rich Text fields and enabled "cannot be blank".  I put some content in the RT field, then delete the contents, I got the error message:"there has been an
    error while processing the form."
    Here is a similar post said that executing the command: regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\
    OFFICE14\htmlchkr.dll" will solve the issue.
    https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/eb2e0f6e-c8e4-4e92-ac5e-a09d72759eda/rich-text-field-error-in-webform?forum=sharepointcustomizationprevious
    But I just disabled "cannot be blank", and it solved the issue.
