Change Confirmations with Confirmation Control Key AB Possible?

Hi!
In PO a quantity bigger thatn the ordered qunatity has been confirmed. Now when I modify the confirmed quantity in the confirmations tab to be equal to the ordered quantity, I still get the error message "Notified quantity exceeds the ordered quantity". How can this be solved?

Please change the message ME 161 setting from Error to warning in SPRO-> Materials Management-> Purchasing-> Environment Data-> Define Attributes of System Messages

DBMS_CDC find only the columns that are changed along with the primary key in the table

We are having a requirement to find the change data in the production environment.
We are planning to use the DBMS_CDC utility.
But for example in the create change table 1 picked emp_id,ename, address, salary,dob.
I have a sample data of
empid
ename
address
salary
DOB
1
test1
24 test street
2000
20-Jan-98
2
test2
25 test street
2500
15-Aug-97
if ename for empid 1 is changed to test1_test3 from test1.
My CDC is capturing the values in the old and new values in the 5 columns.
But i need to get only the empid (primary key of the source table) and the ename column as only that's been updated not the rest of the 3 columns.
Can i accomplish this.
Please advice.

but if i change the change table then i will miss the other columns right?
I want to get the columns( empid and ename) only if ename is changed. i.e when ever any column in emp table changes i need to get all the columns where the data is changed along with the primary key columns empid.
Is there any way i can tweak the parameters so that i can achieve this or is there any other way using the cdc i can get this data.

Keyboard problem with T410 - Control Key

I have a problem with the control keys on the keyboard of T410.
I swapped my X200 keyboard over to T410 to check if it is software or hardware issues. With the X200 keyboard, the 'Ctrl' key is not working. With the T410 keyboard, 'e', 'd', 'c' and 'Ctrl' keys are not working.

I believe that X200 and T410 keyboards are mapped differently in BIOS.
Can you find another T410/T510 keyboard to test with?

Change cut/paste to control keys?

Hi,
I do a ton of work in Parallels under WindowsXP. I mostly write code and use cut/paste (control x or c/control v) continuously.
As much as I love the mac I find when I go back to OS X say for email I'm doing control x or c instead of command x or c.
Is there an easy way to change my Mac OS X cut/paste keystrokes to be control X, C, and paste as control V?

You might look into DoubleCommand.
With it installed you have the ability to remap your Command and Control keys, plus a lot more.

Return key broken, only works with holding control key

I think my young daughter did something on accident while using the computer.
The return key only works now while holding down the control key. It will not work as it normally should. I do alot of word processing on my computer and this is an big hassle now.
Please help. This is a serious pain in my.........

a brody, I did already try my older mac keyboard and it has the same problem. Here is a couple more pieces of info that may help.
When this started, my daughter was playing the apple Chess game. With the voice. This problem started after that. And, with my current problem, sometimes the voice comes on and will read me a folder name, or read me my email subject.
Today, the return key started working for a few hours, but then stopped again.
This is weird and i am clueless. Anymore thoughts??

Change homepage with parental controls?

I was wondering if there is a way to change the default homepage in Safari with an account managed with parental controls. Currently, Safari comes up with Apple as the default homepage. If I try to change it within the managed account the homepage option in preferences is grayed out. I also can't find anywhere to change it from my administrator account.

I actually figured out how to do it. I disabled parental controls for the account, logged in, changed the homepage, logged out, then re-enabled parental controls. I think you're idea would work too though.

Activating ObjectKey's in change master with Release Key.

Hello Gurus,
I would like if SAP has come up with any solution for activating Object key for other objects apart from the standard BOM along with the release key.
Scenario:
I want my Engineering Record to create a change master with the Release key and use same the change master for making changes to Documents along with BOM. There is an OSS note 1767458 - WebUI: Object category enhancement for packages, release key for PLMWUI 746 and not for later versions of PLMWUI ( PLMUI 747).

Dear,
You can create a change master using t-code CC01 and you can maintain and you can maintain the revision level in the objects. Then using this change master you can change the material master . Then automatically the system will create a new revision level.
Using T code CC11 - Create Revision Level ,we can maintain the revision levels.
One more way of doing this is ,using MM02 T code,after going into Basic 1
view,just below the material field,you can find the creation button for revision level
You can come to CC02 T code enter the change number set the Release key values as 01.

Cant control itunes with music comtrol keys while im in another window

If i am in another windows while listening music via itunes a i cant sopt, pause, etc de music with my control keys unless i turn back to the ituns windows. I can do this with other multimedia programs. What should i do to solve it???

If you are using the internet, you can download Firefox and the Foxy Tunes plugin which allows you to control iTunes through your browser window. Dunno about other windows though.

Control key combinations in Keyboard Shortcuts

I want to use the Control key plus letters, such as Ctrl-H, for shortcuts within Keyboard Shortcuts. I appreciate that such combinations are normally used by EMACS but I fail to understand what's happening in the Keyboard Shortcuts section of my Keyboard panel in System Prferences. It allows me to enter the Control key plus letter as my required shortcut but the shortcut never works. Any other shortcut, using other modifiers, even in combination with the Control key works fine. Now I have other utilities, such as FastScripts and Spark that allow me to use such combinations, so why can't they be used in Keyboard Shortcuts?
If anyone else has this problem and knows of an answer it would be much appreciated!

Well, the Keyboard Shortcuts panel doesn’t show the warning triangle as shown for other conflicts. Shouldn't the panel reject such key combinations if they're not available? Instead it shows them as being OK. I would have thought it reasonable to use such key combinations in non-EMACS applications anyway. Also, why is it that other utilities make it possible to use them? Most odd. I'll just have to use other methods I suppose!

Control key PM03 & SM01

Hi experts,
Can you tell me how these tow are difference to each other ?
suppose i create PM 01 order with external services PM03 Control key or creating SM01 type service order will both make same pupose.

Dear Amit,
there is difference between the maintenance order and service order. If you want to have maintenance done your plant on a equipment or functional location and if external services is required for that you will create a maintenance order with PM03 control key. so PR will created.
Sevice orders and created when a service technician has to go to the customer site to service the object in question. Materials, utilities, and human resources must be planned and costed for this. In the SAP system, these functions are performed in the service order. So you will use SM01, SM02,Sm03 control keys for that scnerios.
There is no problem in using the Sm01, Sm03 keys for PM but the overall meaning will be changed for maintenance.better to go for PM03 for maintenance order because you need services not yo are giving services.

Control key (^) combined shortcuts does not work on mac book pro

All shortcut combinations with the control key (^) do not work. I´m using Mac Book Pro 13 (late 2013) with Os X Mavericks 10.9.4

The Logic Board is the Main system board. In the Windows world better known as the Motherboard. Except with Apple Mac computers the CPU and the GPU are Soldered to the logic board and if it is a Retina screen model the RAM is also Soldered to it.
So replacing the Logic board is like replacing the compete system and costs accordingly.
But there isn't much else you can do if you can't get that switch unstuck. Or just go without sound from the built in speakers. They aren't that good anyway.

2 tables with same primary key

2 tables with same primary key is possible,but when is wise to go for such ?
is that a bad desisn ?

Official_details_employee
these 2 tables have same Primary key emp_id.

PP-PI - Control key

Hi guys,
I have an issue with capacity requirements generated by process orders. I have been experimenting with the control keys to show the appropriate behaviour, but this does not seem to be the case. The following happens
When I put the same control key (with detailed capacity requirements ticked on) in both the phase and the operation then the graphical planning board (CM29) behaves as expected, but when I check the capacity evaluation (CM50) then the capacity is consumed twice! So this scenario does not work.
When I put a different control key in the phase. So the control key in the operation has 'det. cap. req' ticked on and the control key in the phase does not, then the graphical planning board behaves appropriately, but again the capacity evaluation does not work correctly, in this case no capacity consumption is registered in CM50.
When I do the reverse of above, I put a control key in the phase with 'det. cap. req' ticked on, and a control key in the operation where this box is tocked off, then the graphical planning board does not work as expected, it won't let me schedule my order. The capacity evaluation (CM50) works appropriately.
So my analyses is telling me, I cannot use both functionality. Does anyone perhaps have some help for me to fix this problem?

I too faced the same issue, In my case I am using planning table for the purpose and I am happy with that.
If you want the setting required for planning table I can tell you.
otherwise if you cannot go for planning table, let me know I will try my best to get the answer

Confirmation Control Key in PO update not possible with partial delivery

Hi gurus,
When I do a MIGO that a partial quantity of a PO and after, I will want confirm the rest of quantity of this position in ME22N, system doesn't allow add a confirmation!!
Confirmations only are posible if all quantity is pending???

Hi Daniel,
The confirmation functionality is used to get better visibility & control over the goods receipts. Due to this requirement, when you work with confirmations, the system will not propose any quantity for MIGO unless any confirmations are entered in the PO. Also, MIGO will propose only such quantity for which the confirmation is entered.
Now you will have two options:
1. If confirmation is mandt, then the Conf reqd check-box must be checked during ME21N. This will restrict the GR for confirmations only.
2. If confirmation is not mandt, then confirmation will not be possible after partial GR.
