Change dynamic propertie with MBean

Hello,
I have implemented a MBean config instead of using properties file as It allows me to change the value during runtime, without restarting the server.
For that, i used the org.springframework.jmx.export.MBeanExporter and register this bean into my spring config file.
<bean id="ConfigJMX" class="xyz.mbean.ConfigImpl">
<property name="fileName" value="/tmp/toto.txt"/>
</bean>
<bean id="exporter" class="org.springframework.jmx.export.MBeanExporter" lazy-init="false">
<property name="beans">
<map>
<entry key="xyz:name=MyConfig" value-ref="ConfigJMX"/>
</map>
</property>
</bean>
I have added the following library In the MANIFEST under runtime classpath.
I have added the following JARs to satisfy classpath issue (I don't know if it is the right way of doing with CEP ?)
- lib/org.springframework.spring-context_2.5.6.jar
- lib/org.springframework.spring-core_2.5.6.jar
- lib/org.springframework.spring-aop_2.5.6.jar
Compilation is fine, but during the deployment, i have the following exception:
Caused By: org.springframework.beans.FatalBeanException: Could not create service reference; nested exception is java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: interface org.springframework.aop.IntroductionInfo is not visible from class loader
     at com.bea.wlevs.spring.support.ServiceInjectionBeanPostProcessor.postProcessPropertyValues(ServiceInjectionBeanPostProcessor.java:128)
     at org.springframework.beans.factory.support.AbstractAutowireCapableBeanFactory.populateBean(AbstractAutowireCapableBeanFactory.java:998)
Seems that cep engine refuse to 'register' thoses libraries.
Could you provide the right way of dealing with this issue ?
Or
Do we have a better mecanism to implement what i'm trying to do in CEP (loading and changing properties value during runtime without restarting the server)?
Regards,
chenda

Hello,
I managed to made it works.
1/ Remove the jars in the lib folders
*lib/org.springframework.spring-context_2.5.6.jar
*lib/org.springframework.spring-core_2.5.6.jar
*lib/org.springframework.spring-aop_2.5.6.jar
Theses exist from CEP installation.
2/ Open META-INF, dependencies tabs, and add the complaining missing package during deployment
org.springframework.jmx.export;version="2.5.6"
... (more)
3/ Reference the EPN.xml, as following
     <wlevs:adapter id="FileReaderAdapter"
          class="com.oracle.fr.ocs.cep.filereaderconfigdyn.adapter.FileReaderAdapter">
          <wlevs:instance-property name="configMBean" ref="configJMX"/>
          <wlevs:listener ref="inputFileReaderChannel" />
     </wlevs:adapter>
Then you are able to change dynamically through JConsole, the value define in your MBean and it works like a charm.
We can probably use "ConfigurationPropertyPlaceholderConfigurer" class to achive the same goal and this is probably a better integration with CEP mecanism (if properties are writable at runtime).
http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23943_01/dev.1111/e14301/overview.htm#CEGGDFEI
For the moment, i'm not able to made it work (yet) ;-)

  • Cannot change Printer Properties in Word 2010 with J6480. Properties revert to default setting

    When I attempt to change Printer Properties in Word 2010, they simply revert back to the default setting.  I am unable to use the Printer Properties within the Word 2010.  If the default is grayscale, that is all the printer will print unless I change the default setup in the Control Panel. It appears to be an incompatibility with Office 2010 software as other programs allow the change of Printer properties.

    I have the exact identical problem.  Brand new printer (HP PhotoSmart C4780) on a brand new PC (Windows 7).  I cannot access the printer properties dialog box when the PDF file has been opened in an embedded Adobe Viewer window in Internet Explorer.
    When I select [Print] from Word or Adobe Viewer, or anywhere else, I can then press the [Properties] button and it opens the printer properties just fine.
    But if I open a PDF document through Internet Explorer, clicking on that [Properties] button doesn't do anything.  No error or anything.  If I press the [Save] in the Adobe Acrobet-embedded Internet Explorer window, it too does nothing.  This leads me to think it is an Adobe Acrobat issue.  However, I have found nothing in their support forums on this topic.
    Does anyone out there have any ideas?

  • How to dynamically changes items properties

    How to dynamically changes items properties likes position order in tabular view, width, prompt

    Many object properties can be set programmatically at runtime. For example, each window object has a Visible property that can be set to either Yes or No to show and hide the window. At runtime, you can call the built-in procedure SET_WINDOW_PROPERTY to show or hide the window dynamically, as shown here:
    Set_Window_Property('my_window',VISIBLE, PROPERTY_ON);
    The following built-in procedures are available for setting object properties at runtime:
    -     SET_BLOCK_PROPERTY
    -     SET_CANVAS_PROPERTY
    -     SET_FORM_PROPERTY
    -     SET_ITEM_PROPERTY
    -     SET_LOV_PROPERTY
    -     SET_MENU_ITEM_PROPERTY
    -     SET_PARAMETER_ATTR
    -     SET_RADIO_BUTTON_PROPERTY
    -     SET_RECORD_PROPERTY
    -     SET_RELATION_PROPERTY
    -     SET_VIEW_PROPERTY
    -     SET_WINDOW_PROPERTY
    The built-in procedure SET_ITEM_PROPERTY can be used to set the properties of any type of item, including buttons, text items, check boxes, radio groups, etc.
    Note: Radio group items include individual radio buttons; use SET_ITEM_PROPERTY to set the properties of the radio group, and SET_RADIO_BUTTON_PROPERTY to set the properties of the individual buttons in the group.
    Each built-in SET procedure has a corresponding GET function that allows you to programmatically determine the current setting of an object's properties. The following example uses GET_WINDOW_PROPERTY to determine if a window is currently hidden (VISIBLE = FALSE). If the window is hidden, SET_WINDOW_PROPERTY is called to show the window.
    If Get_Window_Property('my_window',VISIBLE) = 'FALSE' THEN
    Set_Window_Property('my_window',VISIBLE,PROPERTY_ON);
    To determine if a particular property can be set programmatically, refer to the property descriptions in online Help.

  • Change the properties of a field dynamically using Getter/Setter methods

    Thanks
    Raj
    Edited by: RajICWeb on Aug 12, 2009 4:31 AM

    Hi Harshit
    Thanks for the reply. Like you suggested, I redefined the get_i_zfield( ) method. But the program is not going through this method.
    FYI.....I created the getter/setter methods manually for my zfield. Plz let me know if I am missing anything. Your help will be greatly appreciated.
    Below is my requirement:
    I need to add an additional column (zfield) to a tree view. The name of the component is BTRESTREE. (there is only one view in this component- this view is having only one context node).
    I tried adding my zfield to the attributes (of the context node) through the wizard by right clicking on the 'Attributes'. But I am not getting the 'Create' Option.
    I posted a thread few days back regarding the same problem. One of the experts (Vikash Krishna) suggested me to add some my zfield by redefining the 'GET_TABLE_LINE_SAMPLE' method. As per his suggestion, I was finally able to see my zfield in
    the configuation tab.
    Now, I have to change the properties of my zfield (make this column editable) in the tree view. For that, the only option that I can see is to change the get_i_zfield( ) method (here we have 'rv_disabled') for my zfield. For this, first I need to add my zfield to the Attributes. To achieve this, I added getter/setter methods manually in the Proxy class.
    Thanks

  • Problem in aligning dynamic UI with the static UI

    Hi All,
    I have problem in aligning dynamic UI with the static UI, I am using Matrix layout.
    Static fields are spread over 2 colums and 3 rows:
    lableA SPACE input field SPACESPACE lable B SPACE input field
    lableC SPACE dropdown SPACESPACElableD SPACE dropdown
    lableE SPACE dropdown SPACESPACElableF SPACE dropdown
    Now when a value is selected in C, than E becomes visible, and depending on the values selected in E, there are dynamic UI generated, i.e dynamic lables and depending on some validation it will be either a dropdowns or input fiels or both.
    at run time screen is like this:
    lableA SPACE input field SPACESPACE lable B SPACE input field
    lableC SPACE dropdown SPACESPACElableD SPACE dropdown
    lableE SPACE dropdown SPACESPACElableF SPACE dropdown
    dynaSPACEdropdown
    dynbSPACEinput field
    if I change my selection in E than layout looks like:
    lableA SPACE input field SPACESPACE lable B SPACE input field
    lableC SPACE dropdown SPACESPACElableD SPACE dropdown
    lableE SPACE dropdown SPACESPACElableF SPACE dropdown
    dynaSPACESPACEdropdown
    dynbSPACESPACEinput field
    Requirment: I need all the lables as well as dropdown/ input fiels in line with the static fields irrespective of my selection in E.
    Something like this:
    lableA SPACE input field SPACESPACE lable B SPACE input field
    lableC SPACE dropdown SPACESPACElableD SPACE dropdown
    lableE SPACE dropdown SPACESPACElableF SPACE dropdown
    dyna   SPACEdropdown
    dynbSPACESinput field
    dyncSPACESdropdown
    All this elements are in a group and that group has 2 transparent containers, 1 for static and for holding dynamic UI.
    I tried playing with the container properties, and also tried fixing width of dynamic UI but still the alignment issue is encountered.
    Can U guys plz give in ur valuable inputs as i need to fix this urgently.

    Hi Armin,
    Can you please elaborate your solution ?, I do not have an idea of InvisibleElement & IWDView.resetView() ,
    If you can give me the exact pointer than it would be great and a good learning exp. for me.
    Thanks for the action assignment part, it worked.
    if (wdContext.nodeMaterialClass().size() > 0 && wdContext.currentContextElement().getActionMatCls()) {
         if (wdContext.currentMaterialClassElement().getMaterialClass_Description() != null || !wdContext.currentMaterialClassElement ().getMaterialClass_Description().equalsIgnoreCase(" ")) {
               IWDGroup Searchgroup = (IWDGroup) view.getElement("DynGroup");
    Searchgroup.destroyAllChildren();
    view.getContext().reset(false);
                                                      for (int i = 0; i < wdContext.nodeMaterialCharateristcs().size(); i++) {
                                  //this for label
         IWDLabel CharLabel = (IWDLabel) view.createElement(IWDLabel.class, "label" + i);
         CharLabel.setText(wdContext.nodeMaterialCharateristcs().getMaterialCharateristcsElementAt(i).getDescr_Char());
         CharLabel.setDesign(WDLabelDesign.EMPHASIZED);
         CharLabel.createLayoutData(MatrixHeadData.class);                              CharLabel.setWidth("154px");                              Searchgroup.addChild(CharLabel);
                 further there are conditions to create either dropdown or input field
    Can you please point where and how to apply your solution.

    Is there any other log I should check for a clue on this issue?  What could be causing this error?

    Thanks for sharing that!  I tend to save contacting MS support until after I've exhausted other options.  I'm always afraid that I'll spend the $500 to open a case and then it turns out to be something simple that I would have found if I had just
    kept working on it myself a little longer.
    It looks like that link is for an update released in February as KB3023562.  I downloaded and installed it. I'll try opening/editing/saving the task sequence a few times today to see if the issue is resolved.
    After I had already installed it, I thought to look up that update in configmgr.  The update is listed as superseded by 2 other updates.  The newest of those is KB3046049, which just installed last night with the other March patches, so it's possible
    that I didn't need to install KB3023562 after all.

  • Using dynamic captions with checkboxes

    Hello.
    I want to create a list of checkboxes, according to a table I get from the context, meaning there would be as much checkboxes as the lines in the table, and their caption would be one of the table's fields.
    I turned on Show Dynamic Properties.
    First I tried it with one checkbox, with it's caption related directly to the table's field, and it worked - but with only one checkbox displaying the first line's value, of course.
    Next I put the checkbox in a subform. The subform is related to the table line, and is repeated for every row, and now the caption is only bound to the field's name, relatively.
    So the subform is repeated, but the caption doesn't change at all.
    How can it be done?
    And can I set the checkbox's caption by code? I tried, but it didn't work.
    Best regards,
    Udi.

    Hi,
    try using table control (supported in ALC 8.0) and add the checkboxe in the row.
    You can then map your data node (structure) with the table.

  • My ipod works in itunes but does not appear in "my computer" after I changed the properties

    My ipod works in itunes but does not appear in "my computer" after I changed the properties.
    First off, I'm using Windows XP (and Mac SnowLeopard) Here's how it started. For some reason my ipod started showing up as a camera when I plugged it in. It works fine in itunes, though. But when I tried to access it from "my computer" it only
    showed me the one and only picture I had on my ipod. I deleted that picture hoping it would no longer show up as a camera. When it still did I right-clicked on it in "my computer" and selected "properties". Under "autoplay" I
    chose for it to 'not show up' or 'take no action' or some such deal when I plugged it in. I thought that would stop it from popping up the window that asks whether i want to 'open camera wizard' or 'open camera scanning' or 'open folder to view files' or 'take
    no action' , etc. But now it won't show up in "my computer" at all. I also have a Mac with SnowLeopard. When I plugged my ipod into it my ipod doesn't show up in "finder" either! So basically my problem is not a mechanical one with hardware
    or software; yht ipod still works fine in itunes. I just need to undo the change I made. I've searched all around my preferences, utilities, options, etc. It shows up on my "Device Manager" but not on "Disk Management".
    Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

    Hi,
    To show up in Windows Explorer, you can try placing the iPod into
    disk mode.
    Moreover, i recommend you to
    restore ipod to factory settings.
    If this issue still persists, locate to device manager, uninstall and reinstall USB Mass Storage Device driver.

  • Dynamic action with set value on date field

    Hi,
    I'm using APEX 4.02
    I'm trying to calculate the age based on the date of birth dynamically on a form. I'm trying to do this with a (advanced)dynamic action with set value.
    I'm able to get this kind of action working based on a number field etc, but NEVER on a date field.
    I've read all posts on this subject but so far no solution. Even if I try to simply copy the value over to another date field or typecast it to a string ( to_char function ) it does not work. So for me the problem seems to be in the source field being a date field.
    I've tried using the source value as is in a select statement :
    select :P33_GEBOORTEDATUM from dual;
    and also type casted based on the date format :
    select TO_DATE(:P33_GEBOORTEDATUM,'DD-MON-YYYY') from dual
    but still no luck.
    On the same form I don't have any issues as long as the calculation is based on number fields, but as soon as I start using dates all goes wrong.
    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. If you need any extra info just let me know.
    Cheers

    b.t.w My application default date format is DD-MON-YYYY, maybe this has something to do with the issue .... ?

    Hi,
    Create a dynamic action named "set age" with following values.
    Event: Change
    Selection Type: Item(s)
    Item(s): P1_DATE_OF_BIRTH
    Action: Set value
    Fire on page load: TRUE
    Set Type: PL/SQL Expression
    PL/SQL Expression: ROUND( (SYSDATE - :P1_DATE_OF_BIRTH)/365.24,0)
    Page items to submit: P1_DATE_OF_BIRTH

    Hello, Alan
    Morris.
    Thanks for your reply.
    I've tried to runs PS Script both locally and remotely, previously running Powershell ISE as Administrator.
    I've noticed interesting thing - if to
    check "Enable advanced printing features"
    manually thru Print Management snap-in, script works fine. But, time to time after some manipulations on print server, this advanced feature returns to enabled state automatically by system, I think. In this case PS Script does not work. Next, if to disable
    feature manually again (thru Print Management snap-in),
    and enable manually again, PS Script will work. Very strange situation.
    Thanks.

  • Using dynamic properties in an Instance property

    Is there a way to take the output of a dynamic properties variable (from PROP_LIST) and use that variable in an InstanceProperty tag so that the InstanceProperty is pre-filled out on the display? The idea would be to have a dynamic properties variable be set to "sometext" and then have an InstanceProperty tag be pre-filled out in the UI with "sometext". That way users adding a target get a suggested default value for the InstanceProperty but can still modify it if needed.

    If I understood your requirement correctly, you want some default value to be displayed for a Instance Property, on the Add Target page. If my understanding of your requirement is right, please read on...
    This is very much possible. All you have to do is...
    <InstanceProperty NAME="snmpOSPort" OPTIONAL="TRUE">
    <Display>
    <Label NLSID="tgt_type_port">SNMP Port (Default :161)</Label>
    </Display>161
    </InstanceProperty>
    The "161" besides the "</Display> is the default value which you have defined in your metadata XML file. This value would be picked up automatically on the Add Target page.

    2. How are you opening and saving the PDF, the exact workflow?
         Are you doing it from within Adobe Reader/Acrobat application or opening it from browser, doing changes and saving it using browser itself.
    3. Can you try to save a PDF to library with Custom template and managed metadata columns using browser directly.
    4. Please verify that columns name do not contain spaces or some other special characters.

  • How to change shape properties after having created one?

    Photoshop CC 2014 -- latest update as of October 06, 2014
    Windows 7
    How can I change a shapes properties after having created one.
    I have created a simple ellipse.
    When I drew the ellipse with the tool, I had the option for the fill color/style and stroke, etc.
    After I have created said ellipse, I wish to change its properties.
    I can use the Paint Bucket, gradient tool, etc for the fill, but is there way to get back to the original set of tools with which I created the ellipse in the first place?
    If I use Edit > Stroke... it adds a new stroke around the existing shape.
    If I use Edit > Fill... the entire layer is filled.
    There must surely be a way to reenter the tool set to edit an existing shape. No?

    However, with your tips I figured it out:
    When I create a rectangle or ellipse, I can later click on its layer and the Properties window appears with options to change their "Live Shape Properties."
    However, not so with the Polygon and Shape tools. With them, the Properties window shows only the Masks, but the Toolbar still shows some basic properties I can change.
    I was stymied by the above differences while working only on a Shape.
    I've attached two JPEG screenshots.
    I didn't need to change the actual shape, just the fill/stroke, etc.
    Later, I may wish to change the actual shape, but that appears to be done by simply creating something new.
    Thanks much!!

  • "Click To Change All Properties" Not Working In Dreamweaver CC For Padding/Margins

    Every time I try to use the "Click To Change All Properties" option in Dreamweaver CC (the chain link icon in the middle of the Magin/Padding box), it never seems to work. Nor does it use the CSS shorthand, it lists the top, bottom, left and right margins/padding separately no matter if I have the chain link icon connected or broken.  If I have it set to link all four sides, then enter a value into the top, nothing happens to the other sides. It's not until I enter a value in to the bottom that it auto fills in the other two sides. Anyone else having this issue?

    Thank you for your help. I think I figured out what I might have been doing wrong when setting the margins. I would first clickt the chain icon to join everything, then enter in a value in the Top box, but I wouldn't see the other boxes update with that same value, so I would immediately click the Bottom value box. Instead, if I just click on the inner white box, just outside of the perimeter of the chain icon, it updates all of the remaining values.
    The shorthand setting worked as well for the Padding/Margins. Thank you!
