Change HTTP cdentials in wss_http_token_service_policy

I want to change http credentials from default weblogic/welcome1(provided during creating the domain in SOA 11.1.1.3) to something else.
Please suggest the configuration steps.
I've already created a new map oracle.wsm.security but whatever the credentials I've provided there is not working.

Looks like the policy manager is down.Can you try this,
Step 1- Login to EM
Step 2 – Expand Internal Applications ->wsm-pm(Admin Server)
Step 3– If the Policy Manager is down; Restart the wsm-pm application by right clicking on wsm-pm
Step 4- To verify that the Policy manager is up and running, validate the policy manager page with the below url,
http://host:port/wsm-pm/validator
After inputting the Weblogic credentials, It should display the policies.

SERVER.XML re-write problem when changing HTTP to HTTPS

Hello,
I am using SUN ONE App server and had a problem with turning SSL on in order to use HTTPS.
What I did was that in GUI I selected a http listener under my instance and checked SSL/TLS Settings. I clicked Apply Changes button and I got a message saying that there wa a problem with XML-DOM. I checked my server.xml and found that its size was 0. It seems that it stopped re-writing it when it met the problem.
An interesting thing is that when I created an additional http listener with SSL at a different port, there was no problem.
It seems that the problem occurs only when I tried to change HTTP to HTTPS.
Is there anyone who can tell me why this happens?
I will appreciate any answers or comments.

Is your Implementation Class is still the same (as the old one), when you changed the pre-fix.
Just double click on the Implementation class and check whether the methods are still implemented or not.

How can I change HTTP port in J2EE

Hi.
I installed Sneak Preview 640 and I want to change HTTP port for J2EE. (default port is 50000)
So, I started config tools and move to dispatcher -> service -> http -> port.
There is port information.
- Custom value : empty
- Default value : (Port:80,SocketQueue:200,AcceptingThreadsCount:10,BindAddress:,Type:http)(Port:443,SocketQueue:200,AcceptingThreadsCount:10,BindAddress:,Type:ssl)
My first question is that default port is "80" in above confirguration. Why we use "50000" ?
Second question is that I changed custom value but It doesn't work. How can I change HTTP port ?

WLS 8.1 Apache Plug-in is changing HTTP status code 999 to 500

I'm seeing the weblogic server 8.1 sp4 apache plug-in change the HTTP status code of 999 (set by the application) to 500 Internal Server Error. I'm seeing this with Apache 2.0.48 on aix and with Apache 2.0.58 on windows. I've tried the plug-in from 8.1 SP2, SP4 and SP6 with all yielding the same result. I've tried the SSL plug-in too - same result. I'm told by the maker of this application that they are not seeing this issue with the plug-in for SunOne/NES. What does BEA say about the Apache plug-in changing the http status code? Why is it doing this? Why doesn't the SunOne/NES plug-in do it? Can you provide a plug-in that does not do this?

inside your IfModule. All proxy activity will be written to /tmp/wlproxy.log (on
unixes). If no info appears in the log, Apache is not invoking the plug-in properly.

(apache web server) I receive Error 404--Not Found (even thou I have
tested my
http://192.168.10.142:5001/public/testwebapp and http://192.168.10.142:6001/public/testwebapp
- they work correctly).
There is nothing in apache’s error_log file.
There is a record in access_log file reading:
192.168.10.126 - - [08/Jun/2004:16:23:32 -0700] "GET /public/testwebapp
HTTP/1.1"
404 1214
which gives me an impression that “proxy” – forwarding does not work.
Where should I look for some errors?

Missing option to change HTTP request method on iView level

Dear all,
I am trying to implement an iView using the ApplicationIntegrator. Unfortunately I am getting the error message "Request Method POST is not allowed". I found this nice weblog where you have the option on the iView level to change the HTTP request method to "GET". Unfortunately I do not have this parameter.
I am on EP6.0 SP 9.

I'm not sure I fully follow what the problem is, or I'm misreading the issue.
Just to be clear, you are in Active Directory Domains & Trusts console, you did a click on "Active Directory Domains and Trusts," and then you are saying on the left pane you are not seeing the "Raise Forest Functional Level"
option, such as the following screenshot shows?
I assume there is currently only one domain in the forest.
Was there at any time another domain that was removed, such as a child domain or an additional domain tree, there was removed?
What's the Schema version? To find it, run this without the quotes:

Changing HTTP-Parameters for HTTP Receiver Channel

Dear all,
we have a partner we send files to using the simple HTTP adapter.
We have different types of messages (interfaces) we send to the partner.
Our partner expects the message type as a parameter of the URL. Such as http://xxx:000/xxx?msgtype=outbound
In turn, the "outbound" could also be "inbound" - depending on the message type.
I want to avoid using to services with two adapters.
Thus, my question to you: Do you have an idea how I could manipulate the parameter's value?

Hi Helge,
if you have Sp14 and above you can try setting the url
dynamically in the mapping using Adapter-Specific Message Attributes in the http receiver channel:

Changing HTTP header paramter

Hi All,
We are trying to connect to a legacy system from SAP PI, however while sending the request we are getting the following error:
"HTTP server code 415 reason Unsupported Media Type explanation Unsupported Media Type". After looking into the issue we found that the Content type that is set by default in HTTP adapter is "content-type: text/xml; charset=UTF-8".
However the content type expected by our legacy system is only "content-type: text/xml".
We have been able to achieve this by using SOAP adapter. However we have not found a way to handle this in HTTP adapter.
Any clues as to how to handle this in HTTP adapter only?

This is not possible as it is hard coded.
Maybe you can write an OSS ticket to get thos changed.
XML usually has its own encoding declaration, so it is not useful to have it in an http header.

Changing HTTP to HTTPS in topic's true code of Robohelp

Maybe someone can help me out there: In one of the topics of
my help file, I've inserted a multimedia file (an swf file). When
looking at the true code of the topic - I notice that Robohelp

When executing the multimedia file from the application (the

error occurs.
The programmers have told me that the reason there is an
error is because when calling the file, they are calling an https
file and not an http file.
I've tried to manually change in the true code the http
command to https..but when I save, the command automatically
changes back to http.
Does anyone know how I can get around this issue?

If changing the href syntax is all that is necessary, you can
do that to the output files, after generating WebHelp. If you don't
want to do this manually every time, you can use FAR, or ReplaceEm
to quickly repeat the same modifications each time. FAR is
shareware, with a lot of other cool tools included; ReplaceEm is
freeware, and a one-trick pony (but it does it's one trick very
well).

Multiple Context - Changing http server port

Is it possible to change the firewall https port to different port? Normally in single context mode you can change it with this command.

i just tried this on our live ASA 5520 and you're right, it can't be done on admin context.
it also can't assign a diffrent port under a different context. only default 443 is accepted.

I am trying to change the http port permanently to port 8000. Therefore I go to RZ10 -> select SID_DVEBMGS00_XXXXX -> Extended maintenance -> Display -> Edit -> Create -> and I add
Parameter name:
icm/server_port_0
Parameter val:
PROT=HTTP, PORT=8000
Then I press twice Copy and activate the profile. After that I restart the system.
Now when I go back to RZ10 -> select SID_DVEBMGS00_XXXXX I can not see the icm/server_port_0 entry in the parameter list. It should be here right?
Also when I go to transaction SMICM -> GOTO -> Services the HTTP Protocol is 0 and not 8000.
What am I doing wrong?

Hi Mate,
Before doing edit I would rather request you to import the active profiles first as changes done in older one will certainly not reflect.
Utilities >> Import Profiles >> Of active servers
Then choose the instance profile..Check if already there any entry of icm/server_port_0 and if not then create it or add a new one as icm/server_port_1 or similar
Then Copy the change>> Save>> Activate or Save and Activate.
Restart the system and the change should be there for sure..
If still doesn't work - Check the permissions in filesystem of this profiles and if the SIDadm is able to write the files. The data won't get written until you save it. Might want to check SM21 for errors.
Alternately for the time being just goto SMICM >> Goto >> Services >> Change the HTTP service here
Services >> Change
Put - Port - 8000, Log (HTTP), Keep alive, Process time and Save it.
Do note this is temporary and restarting system/ICM will make it go.
Do mind the port 8000 should not be used by any other process/prog.

you will need to change the monitoring credentials for the EMGC_GCDomain to reflect the new Admin Server port.
Go to Targets->Middleware->EMGC_Domain
Select Target Setup->Monitoring Credentials from the Farm dropdown menu
Change the Port field
Go back to the Farm dropdown menu and select Refresh WebLogic Domain->Add Update Targets
The OHS and Admin Server targets should now show UP in the console. I have verified this on my test site.

Scripted WAS Config change http port add JVM classpath

On Windows in WAS 6.4 SP9
I can manually change the HTTP port for the dispatcher and add JVM settings (system properties and classpath) on the J2EE engine in the ConfigTool but I need to create an automated script do what I am manually doing in the ConfigTool.
Can someone please provide an example of how to do each or any of these? Is there documentation on how to script things manually done in the ConfigTool?

changing the HTTP port is possible by integrating the <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/84/0e3f15fc6af94f82c2e6449bcef3d1/frameset.htm">SETSP</a> shell command into your script (just as suggested in your other post).
However, I'm unsure about the JVM settings. They are usually read from a property file (instance.properties) by the jcontrol process that starts the instance. The option I see is to integrate the jcontrol in your script and pass your custom properties file using its <b>-file</b> option. However, this is just a suggestion - I have never tried this and am therefore not sure if it works at all.
No documentation is available about scripting, as AFAIK, this is not an officially supported startup procedure.
