SERVER.XML re-write problem when changing HTTP to HTTPS

Hello,
I am using SUN ONE App server and had a problem with turning SSL on in order to use HTTPS.
What I did was that in GUI I selected a http listener under my instance and checked SSL/TLS Settings. I clicked Apply Changes button and I got a message saying that there wa a problem with XML-DOM. I checked my server.xml and found that its size was 0. It seems that it stopped re-writing it when it met the problem.
An interesting thing is that when I created an additional http listener with SSL at a different port, there was no problem.
It seems that the problem occurs only when I tried to change HTTP to HTTPS.
Is there anyone who can tell me why this happens?

Hi,
Is your Implementation Class is still the same (as the old one), when you changed the pre-fix.
Just double click on the Implementation class and check whether the methods are still implemented or not.

Server.xml missing - can I still change the VO?

Dear OAF gurus,
I need to add two columns to the existing
oracle.apps.ar.hz.components.search.server.HzPuiOrgSearchResultsVO
view. (Oracle Customers Online application).
I found out we don't have the server.xml file for this VO. My question is - is it still possible to change the VO?
Of course, I can change (edit using text editor) the VO manually and also manually edit ...VOImpl.java and ...RowImpl.java files and put them back, but is it the right way to do it? (and what do I do with the changed VO in this fashion?) Can someone please advise?

My steps were as following
1. Created a new BC4J package cit.oracle.apps.ar.hz.components.search.server;
2. Brought HzPuiDQMSrchResultsVO.xml file (this is the view I need to change) into project
under seeded BC4J package oracle.apps.ar.hz.components.search.server;
3. Created a new VO in package cit.oracle.apps.ar.hz.components.search.server
by extending the existing HzPuiDQMSrchResultsVO.
4. Created a substitution in the project to substitute
HzPuiDQMSrchResultsVO with new VO. No java classes generation was done
for the new VO.
5. Successfully ran jpximport.bat as

to the server in the right place. Set the permissions to 775.
7. Bounced the apache.

I have a problem but I am not sure it's related to configuring Weblogic or not please if you can advice me
I use "openssl" to be my own Certificate Authority (CA)

after configuring openssl I used these steps for creating my keystore
1. First I use this keytool for creating my private key and public key

4.Now my I have a signed certificate (ali_keytool.crt) and my CA certificate (myca.crt)

5. I import the signed certificate into my keystore by alias of private key

6. I import the CA certificate again into a new keystore for creating Trust

SA520: problem when trying to access HTTPS over custom port in a site-to-site vpn

We've set up a site-to-site VPN between our SA520 and our SmoothWall running at our data center. The tunnel is always connected, so that part runs fine
What works fine:
- Client 192.168.11.1 is able to start an RDP session (on it's default port 3389) to server 192.168.3.5
- Client 192.168.11.1 can open a webpage which is hosted on server 192.168.3.5 (hosted on the default HTTP port 80)
What doesn't work:
- Client cannot open web page which is hosted on server 192.168.3.1 at the following url: https://192.168.3.1:441
- or, for that matter, any https service in the 192.168.3.x LAN which runs on a different port
To summarize:
from the 192.168.11.x subnet, accessing services running on default ports (i.e. 80, 3389, 21) in the 192.168.3.x subnet works fine. doing the same for services running on custom ports (i.e. https over port 441) the connection to the webserver times out.

thank you for your reply. we've checked the smoothwall configuration, but couldn't discover anything which could cause this problem. we even tried replacing the sa520 with a draytek vigor router to set up an lan-to-lan vpn with the smoothwall. with the draytek in place we have no problems accessing the aforementioned servers, so it seems the issue is with the SA520.
what exactly do you mean by creating an ACL from the remote WAN to our LAN? i assumed you meant creating a firewall rule, allowing traffic from the remote device's public ip to our LAN. however, in that case i need to enter an ip address of a device in our LAN, or else i cannot save this rule. as a test i entered the ip address of my machine as the destination address, but am still unable to access the aforementioned servers.
here's how i set up the rule:
from zone: UNSECURE (WAN/optional WAN)
to zone: LAN
service: ANY
action: ALLOW always
schedule: (not set)
source hosts: Single address
from: public ip of one of the aforementioned servers
source NAT settings > external IP address: WAN interface address (cannot change this setting)
source NAT settings >WAN interface: dedicated WAN (cannot change this setting)
destination NAT settings > internal ip address: 192.168.11.123 (ip address of my machine)
enable port forwarding: unchecked
translate port number: empty
external IP address: dedicated WAN

Problem when changing the target quantity for a contract

I have a problem when i try to change the target quantity for a contract through the BAPI 'BAPI_CONTRACT_CHANGE'.
I filled the tables 'item' and 'itemx' with new values. the BAPI 'BAPI_CONTRACT_CHANGE' returns no error, but after using the BAPI 'BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT' I get an info message from SAP and the modification does not pass.
In debugger I could locate the error. In fact, the appeal of FM 'ME_UPDATE_DOCUMENT is done with a table XEKKN with the new values of the quantity and a KZ code equal to ' I ' to insert, then it must have the value ' U 'for update .
Is someone can help me to solve this problem?

ITSMobile - Problems when changing screen layout with CSS

Good afternoon,
I have a service ZLM00(SICF) with some public screens in the stile MOBILE4(Service of internet-se80), and I am trying change your layouts with CSS.
Steps taken:
    1 u2013 I activated the repository MIMES (/default_host/sap/public/bc/its/mimes);
    2 u2013 I copied the mobile.css from internet service standard ITSMOBILE for my service ZLM00(se80) with the name ZRF01.CSS;
    3 u2013 I added the parameter ~ITSMOBILECSSINCLUDE = ZRF01 in my service ZLM00(SICF);
    4 u2013 I published all screens and file ZRF1.CSS;
The problem:
      When I test the service in the browser, I see in the source code that the file CSS was added u201C<link rel="stylesheet" href="/sap/public/bc/its/mimes/zlm00/99/ZRF01.css" type="text/css" />u201D
      And the screens received some changes, however when I added a new line in file CSS for exemple

Problem when change bank clearing account for payment posting.

We recently changed the bank clearing account for payment posting (program PC00_M99_PPM). But I found out because the config can only be changed but not delimited on payroll side, the program errored out when it retro back for an employee to the old clearing account. So what am I supposed to do to fix this problem?
Have anyone ever handled this problem before and could please throw some light on it?

Problem when changing SAPJSF's role

Hi experts!!
I am working on EP 2004s ABAP & JAVA stack SP14.
I tried to change SAPJSF' s role in R/3 from SAP_BC_JSF_COMMUNICATION_RO to SAP_BC_JSF_COMMUNICATION so that i have write rights to the ABAP UME datasource. When i did that all the portal's passwords were not valid. (e.g. i tried to logon to the portal with my username - passord- but i could not).
What could be the problem!!!

You can use the HR Report RHINFT00 to make changes to the CS Descriptions.
In the report Selection Parameters choose the CS Objects and enter the Infotype 1000. You will get a list of the CS Objects after the report is executed. Select the CS Object and choose the "Change" Icon to amend the description.

Our application is usually in English. For a quick test we've changed the application language to Spainish through the 'Globalization' part of 'Shared Components'. Things look OK, the date pickers are showing the correct language and the NLS numeric characters are as expected - except... some page branches (from buttons, etc.) are no longer working correctly. It appears to be related to timestamps being passed across, they seem to be interpreted as multiple parameters!
E.G. in the URL http://my_box/pls/apex/f?p=2000:5002:4461616080789919::NO:RP,5002:P5002_CALLING_PAGE,P5002_TS,P5002_ID,P5002_DT:5001%2C10-DIC-09%2006.00.00%2C000000%2C181618172273744521291303312596297592589%2C10-DIC-2009&cs=392CF7A0393244530EC469114C4996A8E
the fractional seconds of the parameter P5002_TS is being received by the third parameter, P5002_ID, etc.

Just created a quick test app: table has timestamp, number and varchar2 fields - another number field is used for the primary key and has a matching sequence. Populated the table with various acceptable values. Created two pages using form-with-report wizard - changed all fields to 'text' to get rid of problems with datepickers not liking timestamps. Created another page with an HTML region containing items to match those on the form. Used button wizard to add a 'go' button on the form page to go to the HTML page, modified the branch to populate the HTML region items with those from the form.
Run the report page, see the expected results, 'edit' to go to the form page, see the expected values. Press the 'go' button, goes the HTML page... the timestamp field is not populated correctly - the value is truncated at the fractional sections part i.e. where the '.' would be. Depending on where the timestamp appears in the URL, the following items will also not be populated. For example, here:

Me22 Problem when change price for Conditions

Hi,
I have a strange problem about ME22. I explain the problem step by step:
1) Enter ME22 with PO
2) Select one PO Item (ex. the first item) and click on Services
3) Select First Position.
4) Click on Conditions and Change the Price.
5) Back to Services, and repeat step 3 and 4 for second position
When i change the price at first time work fine but, when i try to change prize the second time the dynpro Conditions appear empty and with row locked.
This problem don't happen if i don't change the price in Condition Dynpro.
In ME22N work fine. This is a problem because some batch-input on ME22 stop with error "input not possible" after step 5.
There is a solution or OSS Note for this problem ?

CS5 Device Central Stage.width/Stage.height update problem when change the device profile.

When creating FL 3.0/3.1 app and testing it at the CS5 Device Central if you change the profile of the active device(select different phone with different screen size) Stage.width/Stage.height could't change. Always stays the same as the first device's Stage.width and height. Even if you add addListener with Delegate nothing happends. Also it effects to Screen Oriantation. It looks like a problem or is this a bug?

Having the same problem, though I can't get it to connect even once. I just started researching the problem tonight - no solution yet...
I'm on Windows 7 Pro 64-bit, Production Premium CS 5.5.
I've got no other internet issues, Adobe update works fine.
Please - Anybody have an idea how to troubleshoot this problem?

I installed the iAS Release2 on NT.I want to add new language(Chinese) to portal.I failed to run the ptlasst.bat ,there is error in the log file "invalid username/password".I read the 'portal configuration guide',it told me the user 'portal' have the same password as username,but I can not user it to connect to the database 'iasdb'.What is the password for 'portal'??
So I change the portal's password, I ran the ptlasst.bat again. It seems ok. But when I access the url 'http://hostname.domain:7778/pls/portal',it prompts me 'your access is forbidden'. What can I do??

Try the password you chose for "ias_admin" during install.

Problem when changing connection to SQL Anywhere during runtime

I designed a report in the Crystal Reports 2008 designer using a JDBC connection
to a SQL Anywhere 11.0.1 database.
Everything works fine, I´m able to preview the report in the designer.
But when loading and running the same report in a Eclipse-based java-application I receive
an error.
When I set the db connection parameters I receive an "unexpected database-connector-error".
When starting the report without changing the connection parameters set in the CR2008-designer
the same error appears.
When using a report based on a MySQL-database everything works fine.
I´m able to preview the report in the designer and I´m able to load the report
and change the datasource to another MySQL-database at runtime.
What do I have to do to change a SQL Anywhere connection at runtime?

Your workflow and the specific method being invoked where you're getting the exception is unclear.

Problem when change DBF connection

I use jdbc dbf driver to connect to DBF.
String databaseDriverName ="com.hxtt.sql.dbf.DBFDriver";
Class.forName(databaseDriverName).newInstance();
String databaseDirectory=dbase;/
String url = "jdbc:DBF:///"+databaseDirectory;
java.sql.Connection con = DriverManager.getConnection(url,"","");
databaseDirectory is the path to DBF file
I transfer data from DBF to oracle database. When transfer is complete I close the frame, copy new file with same name on same location.
Frame is open again and i read the data from old file.
Where is the problem?

Even I have the same question... where is the problem? Looks like you have missed out the real part.
