Change Icon displaying as X?

Our customer's display screen has a change button, button is functional, but it is an X instead of the correct GIF. It has the properties of:
http://philfmc-svXXX:XX/sap/its/mimes/Webrfc/sapicons/s_b_chgb.gif.
I realize, I think, that I should be able to go into SE80=>Internet Service=>????
to see the GIFs? I guess this one is missing. But there are a lot of Internet services listed and I so not know which one this GIF woiyuld be located in. Anyway to search the Inrernet Service for the Cheng GIF I am looking for?
Or, is this an ITS thing that would require ITS access?
My goal is to get the GIF to display....Thank-You.

Hi Tom,
webrfc is the internet service from where the mimes are loaded. The mimes have to be published from SE80 to the ITS server. Check in the SE80 in service webrfc if there is a folder mimes/sapicons. In release 6.40 and 7.00 I see these mimes. In 6.20 they are not available.

Thanks for the solution. Another question would be that when i was at the Sprint store, one of them stated that it's possible to delete pre-loaded apps??? (NFL, NASCAR) etc... I figured you couldn't because it's part of the hardware but I figured I would ask. Thanks..

Hi Han,
the icons are saved under /etc/public/mimes/images
You can go to KM Content and upload there your own icons and either you replace the SAP standard name (ie: document.gif) what I would not recommend or the better solution would be to change the KM Configuration (Content Management -> Utilities -> Icons) so that your own icons are associated with some MIME types.
To change the format of the last modified property go to KM Configuration -> Content Management -> Global Services -> Property Metadata -> Properties. Search for "cm_modified". You could change the property type to "Date" but the solution I would prefer is to add following string in the parameter "Additional Metadata":
customFormat=MM/dd/yyyy or customFormat=dd.MM.yyyy

Since Mavericks Update, changing icons just displays generic thumbnail

Since I updated to Mavericks, I can't change icons without the icon just changing to a generic PNG or JPEG thumbnail (see attached picture).
Steps I'm following-
CMD + I on the icon I want to change.
Copy picture (PNG or JPEG) to clipboard
Select icon in upper left-hand corner of info page and choose Paste or hit CMD + V
Has anyone else experienced this? Interestingly, any custom icons I created in Mountain Lion continue to work as they did.

I am also using the latest version of Mavericks and funny thing, I was having this problem today installing a new Time Machine disk and I wanted to change the icon. No matter what I tried, the icon image would only show (in the get info pane) as a "PNG" or TIFF or what ever format the picture came in.
I do not know if it was dumb luck but I took the picture (Ironman Teseract) and opened the JPEG in Photoshop CS6. I then cropped it the way I wanted and saved it to the desktop. During the save, PS asked me if I wanted to save the embedded color profile or use Photoshops. I choose Photoshops and saved it.
I grabbed the icon picture and dragged it onto the picture of the TM drive in it's "get info" pane. It worked.

I went into the PC settings and tried to change the display resolution. This changes the size of all the icons (not only Adobe) but it does not solve the problem when I open an Adobe application (Photoshop or Illustrator)... The PC is run under Windows 8.1 and my display resolution is 3200x1800 (but again, when I change the settings for a smaller resolution, only the size of the icons is affected. Once I open the software, the problem is still there, extra-small toolbars...). Help!!!

Anything before CC is not high-DPI compatible. Feel free to continue to experiment with your system settings.

I need to add "change" icon in the table control. I added it but when I click on it is not working.
My requirement is that when I run my custom report, all the fields should be shown is in display mode. Then when I click on the "change" icon, all fields should be enabled for change.
I have already referred to the standard progs BCALV_* but it does not have the "change" icon.
plz give me any reference prg or sample code.

Hi Nani,
Track the function code of change icon in user command. if it is clicked then put a flag eq X.
check that flag in PBO, if it is eq X then screen-input = 1 or vice versa.
try this code:
in PBO:
LOOP AT SCREEN
IF WS_EDIT = 'X'
SCREEN-INPUT = 1
ELSE
SCREEN-INPUT = 0
ENDIF
MODIFY SCREEN

Hello. Perhaps this is because you are trying to arrange the order of many VPN services, since only one VPN service can be selected at once in System Preferences. In my original post, I did not mean that; I meant that I wanted to arrange the order of VPN configurations within a VPN service. In this screenshot, I have one VPN service only:
And in the following one, it is shown that there are more than one VPN configurations within that VPN service:
Furthermore, it was the order of VPN configurations that I wanted to change, not the order of VPN services. If you are trying to change the order of VPN services, I do not have a solution.

Change Icon missing in the existing SC in ITS URL

Hi Gurus
User is trying to change some details in existing SC, user is able to find the SC in Check status and clicked the details button it will display the document item details, but the Change Icon is missed for the user.
Until last week, user was able to make changes before the cart was approved, also I verified the change details in SU01D, and nothing has been changed.
Also I verified my user ID in testing client, I am able to see the change Icon .

Please check the value of the parameter BBP_WFL_SECURITY in trascn PFCG for the EMPLOYEE role. See whether that is set to value low/medium/high so that the employee sees the CHANGE button.

JTree changing Icons of leaves of a node

I have a Jtree with root node as "Project"
I have nodes as "color", "sports", "food" which in turn have leaves.
I have to set an Icon "Icon1" for all the leaves of node "color"
I have to set another Icon "Icon2" for all leaves of node "sports"
and have to set another Icon3" for all the leaves of node "food"
How do I go about doing it? Thanks.

Define Access sequence:
Select sales document header
Click on change icon
Click on access sequence control button under dialog structure
Go to new entries and define access sequence number with description.Ex: 55
Save it and exit
Define text determination procedure:
Go to new entries
Define text determination procedure.Ex: ZX save it and exit
Assign text id's to text determination procedure:
Select your text determination procedure(ZX)
click on text id's in text procedure control button under dialog structure
go to new entries and maintain entries. Text id:assign text id (Z1) that we defined in the previous step
Specify sequence No-10
Check Reference: this indicator specify that the text is reference or copies from preceding object
Text in obligatory: text will be displayed during copying. the value of this field specifies whether text is obligatory or not and if it is obligatory the how it is to be displayed
Apart from this... you also have to maintain the text in the Customer master as mentioned in the previous mail..

How to change icons of a JTree node dynamically

I have created CustomCellRenderer and i'm calling this class as follows
tree.setCellRenderer((TreeCellRenderer) new CustomCellRenderer(true));
The boolean value for the constructor (in this case it's true) will be set to
a local variable in the CustomCellRenderer class. Then upon clicking a node in the tree the boolean value (true) is set and the icon for that node should be changed as specified in the CustomCellRenderer class.
When i click on a node all the icons of that tree are disappearing.
Can any one help me in this issue

Task Bar Mahem - Changing Icons on M$ task bar

In Windows XP (Windows NT), when you open multiple windows of a program, the programs become inconisized and grouped together under one menu icon with a name. For instance, opening Windows Explorer multiple times creates a menu on the task bar that displays the Windows Explorer Icon, the number of windows open, and the title of the program--Windows Explorer.
However, when I run my Java programs multiple times (or make many frames within a program) and iconisized them, they appear on the task bar as a menu with a little white window icon with a blue title, the number of windows (frames) open, and "java" or "javaw" beside it.
I know how to add icons to frames. What I don't know is how to keep my icon and application name on the task bar when windows (frames) or applications become grouped. Any helpful information would be greatly appreciated. Spent 4 hours looking all over Sun's site, trying to find an answer. I've even tried to download some open source programs and tried to disect them to find the code. Sample code would be greatly appreciated.

Folder icon display at richfaces tree node

Hello All,
I would like to use richfaces tree structure.
But the issue with that is the folder icon display at each tree node.
For some reason i don't want the folder icon at the tree node.
Is there anyway to get rid of that?
I tried to change the image (iconFolder.gif) to some 1X1 pixel image in the richfaces jar file.
But when i added the new jar with new image for icon, that image is not loading.
I'm using Jboss4.2 as my application server.
Please help me to remove the folder display at tree node.

I could see the icon attribute to specify the folder icon at the node. I placed a 1x1 pixel image as the iconfolder image. But that results in a blank pixel at the node. I wish to get rid of that.
Also i wanted to change the navigation images too. i would like to have the + and - sign images instead of arrows.
Any suggestions?
