I think you wantUIManager.put("ScrollBar.thumb", yourColor);before you create the scroll pane. However, other properties ("ScrollBar.background", "ScrollBar.foreground", "ScrollBar.track") might be more what you need.

Hello all,
I have the following problem:
Having added a JScrollPane on a JTextArea or JTextPane, when using the setText() method if the text exceeds the max size, the vertical Bar moves to the end of the text -
How can i tell the bar to stay to it's starting position and the text to be dispalyed(so when he moves the bar he ll see the rest of the text)

RegardsYou could achieve that with an ChangeListener but how do you want to see the lower content if the scrollbar is always on top ??

Changing progress bar colour in AS3

I've spent hours trawling through documentation and googling,
but I can't find any way to change the progress bar colour from a
script using AS3. In AS2, it was easy, I just used
myprogbar.setStyle("themeColor", "0xff0000");
but this no longer seems to work in AS3 and none of the
styles in the ProgressBar class seems to relate to the bar colour.
I need to be able to change the colour dynamically, so setting it
permanently when I create the object is no good. This should be
easy, am I missing something simple here ?

All of the apps use shared code for the interface.
And no, it doesn't bother me.

CSS, Flash, or HTML? What is causing the white vertical bar?

I am using an I-frame to embed a photo gallery that was created with Adobe Bridge CS4. Adobe Bridge instructed me to make the iframe height = 75% of the width. The code is <iframe src="PhotoAlbum/index.html" width="900" height="675" frameborder="0"></iframe>
#photoAlbum contains the iframe with the following properties:

I tried changing the width to 960, 900, 850 etc with no success.
I have tried making the background of #photoAlbum black with no success.

The site that I am having problems with is http://www.gigharborrealestate.com/youtube/016/ On the right side of the Trelliis Grove Photo Gallery is a white vertical bar. If you go to /PhotoAlbum/index.html there is no white bar.
Why does this bar show up when /PhotoAlbum/index.html is put into an I-frame? How can I get rid of the vertical bar?

updater. Inside the package are some samples and an extension.
Install the Extension and then restart DW and under the Sites menu

Black vertical bar with lines on Macbook pro screen Appeared out of nowhere

I was working on my computer late at night. Like always.
I went to bed, and left the computer on in it's screen saver , as I always do.
When I woke up I had a black vertical bar on the screen about 1 1/2 inch thick with some flickering lines next to it.

I don't believe this to be a memory problem, I can take snapshots of the full screen, and I can hook up an external monitor with no problem. Also restarded PRAM plenty of times, etc.
But this black bar appeared out of nowhere. As if one way my screen decided it was going to blow out on me out of nowhere. I've had this MacBook for 2 years.
Question is, do you think the problem is:
a) the screen
b) connection / short problem to the screen inside the macbook
I hope it's B , because they told me it would cost $800 to replace the screen which is stupid cus I can get a new macbook pro for less than that.
I think there is a connectivity problem with the hardware , possibly a short, or something messed up with the wires or pins that link to the screen.
I noticed after repeatedly opening and closing the macbook, there were some changes in the small flickering lines next the big bar, and some of them turned solid black.
Has this happened to anybody else before?

Usually what happens is that over time the cable comes loose from the back. This happens because the enclosure within the hinge housing is quite tight and the LVDS cable has little room to move around. Because of the frequent opening and closing on the lid, the cable starts to move out of place try opening and closing it a few times and push it back very gently. You might see the line disappear or decrease slightly.

Changing a Navigation Bar

So I've chose the 'Main Stage' template (I think that's what it's called) and I'm customising it myself. I want to change the colour of the navigation bar and get rid of the footer at the bottom. To get rid of the footer I've just reduced the footer size, is that the best thing to do? And I can cant find a way of changing the navigation bar's colour????

Regarding the footer the only way to get rid of it is to set it to zero in the Inspector/Page/Layout pane.
As for the links color, that's all controlled by javascript and not readily doable. Cyclosaurus has posted various javascript bits to use in HTML snippets to modify the links. The only color script I've found of his is to change the rollover color. You can read about it near the middle of this demo page: Misc. Items.
You can have much more control over the navbar by creating your own Text Based Navbar. Deactivate the built in navbar and create a text box with the links in the font (Web Safe Font only). The downside is that you will have to copy an past the text box on each page the first time an any time you add or remove a page.

changing everymonth that means a monthly performance report is to be propared where it shows the monthly sales and production of products and this data is to be shown in the form of graph along with tabular values. The format of report they need is in the form of any invoice form(for example) so I am preparing the smartform for this.So, Please tell the procedure with example to print the graph in one of the window of smartforms.

Htmlb:label ugly little vertical bar

Hi folks,
Does anyone know how to get rid of the annoying little vertical bar which appears in front of an htmlb:label when used on a view.
I'm using the MVC approach, so my code in my view looks like this:
<htmlb:label for = "//model/s_obs.tv" />
<htmlb:inputField value = "//model/s_obs.tv" />
which works very nicely - the description from the label is picked up from the data element used by the field s_obs.tv
However, for some reason, the label is prefixed by a little vertical bar. I've tried using all the attributes for htmlb:label but can't seem to get rid of it.
Any ideas please?

it happens with desing 2003, it dosent happen in 2002 or classic.
may be you have to change the style sheet if you want to remove it.
you can use ABAP look and feel service to do the same.

Reboots when curser is moving vertically on right edge of vertical bar

XP reboots when moving the cursor vertically on the edge of Firefox window vertical bar at random web pages. My Samsung monitor instantly goes black and XP reboot starts with the last good copy of XP operating system. The operating system seem to be OK as a result of the "reboot problem" caused by Firefox. Microsoft's Internet Explorer does not exhibit this failure.

When did you notice it? Was there any prior change on the computer?
Check your mouse setting if there is a need to change some settings (there are two ways to do it)
Go to control panel > Double click the mouse icon > Go to Synaptics tab > click on the "setting" button
On the search box, type "mouse setting" > click on it > Go to Synaptics tab > click on the "setting" button

Change the desktop background colour of Acrobat 9 Professional?

Is it possible to change the desktop background colour in Acrobat 9? The reason I ask is we are supplied newspaper ads and sometimes they have a black keyline on the border of the PDF.
The dark background on the desktop can make it difficult to see a fine keyline. We were previously using Acrobat 7 Professional which had a white background.

This is what the fellow is talking about. Naturally if his keyline item is in Black it ain't going to show up In Acrobat previous to 9 all this back Ground was grey.
