Change path for common library

I want to change the location (path) for the common library
so i can use it with my team on our server.
I tried it in the registry (don't work)

Assuming Messaging 5.2.
The mail.log_* is written by the MTA, which really doesn't look at configutil settings much. Better to look at:

and put your path into the imta_taylor file

I'm trying to execute predefined BPF - custom menu (ProcessFunctions.xls). Whenever if click e.g. on Back, forward, open a file following similar message is being prompted:
Macro 'E:\Program Files\BPC\Ev4Excel.xla'!'EvMacroCall "OPENFILE","REPORTS\WIZARD\HotAnalysis\A01 Account Trend.xls","","","","","" can not be executed. Macro may not stated in this workbook or all macros can be deactivated.
Ev4Excel.xla is resided under path E\PC_MS.
How can I change path for macro call?
Or any other idea?

i don't understand why do you have to change the path for Ev4Excel.xla?
Basically this the addin of BPC into excel. I mean it is the BPC excel client.
You are choosing the path when you are performing the installation of SAP BPC.
So Idon't understand why do you want to change the path?
If you want to do this you have to reinstall the BPC client and you have to choose the path wanted.
You error is not related to the path it is more related to rights.
I think you have to provide more details about the steps done and in what condition you observer this error.

Path for db2 library 'libdb2.so' could not be determined

Any ideal why i would get this error, working on upgrading a system, it was working, then SUM shut it down and now it won't restart.    i have tried lots of things and no luck. R3trans works fine.

Please check in Instance Kernel Directory /usr/sap/<SID>/<INSTANCE>/exe .
there should be db6_clidriver exists and where all lib files related to Db2 exists. if not then copy in from global/db6/<LINUX> .and try .

I believe that System.load() does exactly the same thing, but accepts fully qualified filenames. So give that a try.
Failing that.... maybe you can add -Djava.library.path=
to your command line to explicitely override the path set ?

Windows Controls for Common Library

Hi, I am looking for some standard windows controls for the
common library. Anybody have any or know wher ei can find them.
right now I have to make them myself. If Adobe could provide them

Hmm, are you using Fireworks CS3? We ship with out of the box
mac and winxp controls that are interactive via the new symbol
properties panel. There's also an extension on the Fireworks
exchange that installs autoshapes that are controls for windows. If
you are using Fw8 that would be the best bet.

Set start path for vi library manager

Hi
One thing that annoys me if I'm using LV, is the start-path of the vi library manager.
When I'm working on a vi, I'd like the vi library manager tha start with the directory path of this vi (or llb). But everytime I start it, I find myself in the LV-directory. This was ok if I just start LV and then open the library manager, but it's so annoying if I'm working on a project and want to change a llb.
Is there any setting to change this or is this just in LV 7.0?

It does not work if I have to set a static path. I want the library manager to open in the current directory if I'm working on a vi.
For example if I work on a vi which is located in C:\Project\LV\2005\Teststand1\testvi.vi, I want the library manager to open the path C:\Project\LV\2005\Teststand1. If I work on an other vi, I want the library manager to open the path of this other vi.

I'm pretty new to the Solaris 10 world and I'm attempting to troubleshoot some Xerox print issues. One of our Oracle Users may send a print job through with an HP Initialization String...yes you read that right, and cause the Printing services to Yo-Yo.
I've installed the Xerox Printer Administration Tool 4.30.28 and then installed the most current driver package. Thing is, either the services will still bounce or the job will not print. Understandable because of the HP Initialization String.
However, I tried using the Solaris Print Manager w/ a generic Xerox driver and the Print Services did not bounce. I thought then that I would try using the actual Xerox Workcentre 7655 driver by converting the driver from Xerox and using the PPDMgr tool. Thing is, I could figure out how to really change the path so that the driver would get dropped in the /usr/lib/lp/model/ppd/system/foomatic directory.
Any way to do this?

I am using the "UserDefinedErrorsDir" in LabVIEW 7.1 /7.1.1 Windows and Linux.
But there is a "syntax" problem. Let me explain this:
If you enter
UserDefinedErrorsDir=C:\
into your LabVIEW.ini File, LabVIEW will not search the Files in your C:\ Directory...
LabVIEW search the *-errors.txt Files in the
C:\errors\
Directory!
That mean that you have to create a folder with the name errors in your UserDefinedErrorsDir and after that you only have to copy all your *-errors.txt Files into this folder.

How to change path for FileStore in BOE XI3.0?

Hi, i am using BOE XI 3.0. I have try to re-point the file store from C drive to D drive because the size in C drive is getting increasing.
C:\Program Files\Business Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 12.0\FileStore Point to D:\FileStore
1) I have copy all the files (input and output) inside FileStore from C drive to D:\FileStores
2) In CMC--> Server --> InputFileRepository & OutputFileRepository, at the File Store Directory, change from
%DefaultInputFRSDir% to D:\FileStore\Input
%DefaultOutputFRSDir% to D:\FileStore\Output
3) Restart Tomcat and all servers/services.
Then we encounter 2 problem:
1) I can open the web intelligence using universe but i just cannot save it in the repository, it give me error
Could not save the document to the repository for the following reason:[repo_proxy 30].......
2) I am able to import universe but cannot export, there is an error..
Is the way to re-point the filestore directory correct? Or i still have any other thing to set in CMC?

Make sure the service running the Input and Output file Servers has sufficient permissions to write to this share. In version 3.x this would be the user the SIA runs under.

Jdeveloper 11.1.1.5 - how to change path for log file for Disk quoto exceed

I am trying to deploy to my jdev integrated webserver and am getting Disk quoto exceeded error.
How do I change the path so it goes to /scratch/<user>/ ... or something other than /home/<user>

How to change the context file path in 11i. I have tried 2 methods "perl adbldxml.pl tier=apps appsuser=apps" and perl adclonectx.pl contextfile=/u01/visappl/admin/vis_gold.xml , it works and I can see the s_context var in .xml changed to new path . But when I ran adconfig.sh it revert back the changes to old path.
Anyone faced this issue before ?

/d01/visappl/admin/vis_gold.xml to /u01/visappl/admin/vis_gold.xml ?You cannot change the location of the context file and it is always defaulted to $APPL_TOP/admin directory in 11i release. Any reason you want to change this location?

Change path for temporary file

During an iMovie project, export directly to iDVD fails because the free disk space that is used (system disk) is not sufficient (about 10GB).
It's possible change the temporary file pointing to a external drive that has lots of free space?
The situation is the configuration:
- Disk System with about 10GB free
- External firewire disk where saved the project and imported movie with 200GB free

No.
UNix apps store their tempfiles preferred on the 'system partition' of your harddrive.
on my setup. ALL libraries (= the Gigabytes of iTunes, iPhoto, iMovie...) are external.. free your int. HDD is best advice ..

I want my installation of wikimedia to recognize the path as including /usr/local/bin, and it doesn't. I already added it in /etc/profile, but accoring to php.info, it still isn't there for php or apache.

Re-arranging path for Aperture Library

My Aperture Library has turned up in the external HD I use to back up my internal HD (CCC). How do I get it back to my internal HD? Cheers, jp

BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING BACKUP YOUR COMPLETE COMPUTER!!!!
Open Finder and locate the Finder Library on your external HD. The file will probably be named something like Aperture Library.aplibrary
Then open another Finder Window once you have located the Finder Library and click the Go Menu and select Go to Folder.... and copy and paste
~/Pictures/
Next go back to the first Finder Window where the Aperture Library is currently stored and drag it to the new Finder Window. Once it's been moved the you can double click the file and Aperture will open. Once you have confirmed Aperture opens and you can see your library, shut down Aperture and go back to the Finder Window on the EHD and delete the Finder Library.aplibrary
If you have trouble doing this take the machine and the EHD to your local Apple Store or AASP and then can help you in probably less than 5 minutes.

Call library function will not retain change of directory for the library.

I have created a call to a dll made in Visual C++. Everything works fine. I then configure the vi to call the a newer version of the library that is in another directory. The Call Library Function dialog box updates with the new path. I click the OK button. Then configure the vi again to very my change took and it is back to the original path to the library.
Why can I not change where to find the library? I am sure that I can make a new vi an input all the parameters again, but I have many parameters and calls to the same dll. Making new ones each time the location of the dll changes is not an option.

If you have more than one VI accessing the same DLL, then you can't
change the DLL location without unloading all the other VIs first. This
is because Windows will always look first for the DLL in memory, before
even attempting to load it from disk. And if another VI makes use of
that DLL it will be still kept in memory.
