Change Portal E-Mail Text Notifications

Hi,
We have configurated the notification mails following the instructions:(http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70ehp1/helpdata/en/48/b37e32eb5c6200e10000000a421937/frameset.htm)
But this procedure is only for changing the text, and the message is a plain text. Ineed to add design, like a hyperlink, colors for example.
Where can I configure this? Is this possible?

I think it only sends plain text emails. You could try including some HTML tags and see if this changes how the message is processed by the receiver...

I changed my 2 mail accounts to have different tones in the notifications in settings and now I can't change one tone to a different one or even turn it off completely. Sounds in settings doesn't work either.
Does anyone know or have the same problem? I'd hate to have to delete one account, just to add it back on again and risk losing info.

Forgot password - Mail to the user (change mail text)

Hi,
we are using SRM 5.0. I have the following problem/question:
If a user forgot its password he can use the link <forgot user or password? help!>. If the user entered his user name the system sends an email to the user. In this case the text from the form bbp_um is not used. How can i change the mail text for this notification?

IOS 7 back ground makes it difficult to read the text. How can I change it in mail and messages?

iOS 7 back ground makes it difficult to read the text. I know I can't change it in mail and messages, but Apple really needs to allow some customization. This is really difficult to read for older eyes.

yeah I agree with all you guys statements, the color scheme on IOS 7 *****,
I am having to constantly turn on off on off on off "invert color" mode just to switch between
the home screen, typing, and reading text messages, its an absolute pain!!
I never had any of this trouble in IOS 6.
What they SHOULD do, is make 2 different color schemes
one LIGHT color scheme,
and one DARK color scheme, for those using "invert colors" frequently.
See, what Apple doesn't seem to understand is, when you turn on "invert colors",
the lock screen turns bright WHITE, so you have to turn invert colors OFF just to read the lock screen,
then back ON when you want to type an email, read a text message, etc etc, then turn it off again when
you want to play a game.
and see, after awhile, when you switch invert colors on off on off after so many times, it drains on the devices resources, & you have to reboot the device to get accessibility options working again. I have to reboot the device several times a day now just because of that, when its just a simple fix of adding a darker color scheme as a 2nd or alternative option.
I mean, even as a normal sighted person, turning on invert colors is annoying when your at the lock screen or playing a game, think about those of us who depend upon it just to read text on the screen.. VoiceOver has the smilar issues when you have to turn it off on off on all the time it drains the system resources of the phone also,
so I agree completely...
but ya know, they don't listen to us... cuz its an option they don't use, so they don't understand... If they used that option for even 5 seconds, they'd understand what we're talking about.... What Apple should do is hire one of us as a beta tester to help them test out these types of issues, from one of us like myself who knows a thinkg or two about accessibility options of the phone.
I've been an Apple idevice fan for years, but, IOS 7 was a major disappointment in the accessibility arena..

Claudius,either you didn't read my post, or you jumped to conclusions. I had a skype account that was created using a microsoft account (NOT THE ACCOUNT I AM USING NOW). PURE MICROSOFT ACCOUNT NO OTHER ACCOUNT LINKING.I had to change the primary mail of that account.I was told "no can do" by skype support.I found that if I went to account settings and clicked on the link on the line below the one that said "MICROSOFT etc" (labeled something along the lines of "TV or Device") I got the opportunity to set the password of the "live:username" account (WHICH YOU COINCIDENTALLY HAVE TO DO IF YOU WANT TO USE SMART TVs ETC).Once that was done, I COULD SUCCESSFULLY DO WHAT SKYPE SUPPORT SAID WAS IMPOSSIBLE- I could change the primary mail address. once that was done, and NOT BEFORE, I linked the account to a facebook account as well, just to be sure I have more than one way to access the skype account. I am changing ISP and because of that I have to change my mail address from my 10 year old [e-mail removed for privacy and security] to something else, this time I choose to use an outlook.com address in the hope that I will be able to keep that a bit longer. last week I realized that my skype account had my old expiring address as the primary mail, and that the primary mail was the only mail that skype will use for communication with me - I already had 2 other mail addresses in my skype profile (outlook.com and gmail). The skype account was created last summer using my microsoft account, and the microsoft account is the only means I have for accessing the skype account. So I logged on and opended the profile page, went on to edit the info and marked my outlook mail as the primary, clicked save and got the password question. I entered the password I use for logging on (ie the microsoft account password), but was told that the password was wrong. I tried everything and some more things, I spent 40-50 minutes on a text chat with skype support, only to be told that it can't be done and that the skype account was hard tied to the mail address I had used when creating the account, which I found very strange as I had used my microsoft account. yes, when I created the skype account, the only mail I had connected to the microsoft account was my "[e-mail removed for privacy and security]" mail, but I have since then, without any problems, been able to create an outlook.com address, and have that added, added a gmail account, set the outlook.com as the primary for the microsoft account and remove the "[e-mail removed for privacy and security]" address from the microsoft account. no problem.The problem is actually worse as the mail account will be free for use after april 1, which means that a person claiming that mail address will risk getting extremely confusing mails regarding a skype account they don't have, they will have difficulties creating a skype account of their own, AND they can take over my skype account (as they are the owners of the mail address) and I won't be able to stop them. I would like to know how can I change the e-mail subject to a subject of my choice (for instance the PO number, etc.).

Hi,
You can change the e-mail subject to a subject of your choice by following way.
If you want to send a purchase order as (external) mail, for example, to a
vendor, you have to maintain the mail title in the condition record for the
output type (for example in Transaction MN05) on the 'Communication method' tab
page. Enter the mail title in the 'Text for cover page' field. You cannot
maintain an additional mail text.

Mail from Workflow to external system with mail text in body of mail

I have extended workflow WS12300111 to send mail to external system. But in external system mail text is coming in attachment & without formating (Multiple lines are coming in single Row).
I want to know how to send text in body of mail (instead of attachment) to external system, when we are sending mail using Send Mail option in Workflow.

Now I can send text in body of mail... but how can we provide link in mail to open portal application to make user to perform required action (Leave approve or Reject etc)..

Change in Work item Text for Approval Workflow WS14000133

I need to change the work item text for Shopping Cart Approval Workflow WS14000133.
I have created an Attribute in Business Object BUS2121 and called the same attribute in work item text.
In PFTC -> Redefine Work item text - > and i have defined the work item text as well called the attribute from the container.
what the problem over here is - when I am passing the attribute in the work item text in the task, I am unable to see the work item text with the Dynamic Attribute but I am able to see the work item alone (not with the Dynamic attribut)
But when i debug the workflow from SWI1 then i can see the dynamic attribute in the Container of the workflow but nt in the approver's inbox in portal..
Can you please tell me - that why is this a strange behaviour that i can see the Dynamic attributed created initially in the workflow container of the Business Object but nt in the Approvers inbox either in Backend nor in the front end...

For HTML and RTF format, the Stationery and Fonts option mentioned above by <Clark Kent> will only apply to the messages that you send out (New mail messages and Replies and Forwards).
Plain text message is a different thing, you can change the font for both incoming and outcoming messages in
Stationery and Fonts option.
So you just cannot easily control the font of HTML and RTF incoming messages, as they arrive with the font already set by the sender. You can choose to read all mail as plain text (File>Options>Trust Center>Trust Center Settings...>E-mail
Security), then change the font in Stationery and Fonts dialog for plain text messages:

Bcc: Is there any way to change the "undisclosed recipients" text appearing on the message at destination when I used Bcc?...
Eudora offers the possibility to choose the text that appears when using Bcc.
Does Mail do the same?...

Every message that I send with addresses ONLY in Bcc:, when is received by others, or when I receive it back from some yahoo group, has the reading: "undisclosed recipients"...which I can see either when I receive an answer from some individual or when I receive the messages from the group.
Of course, if I write any address in the "To:" space, what comes out is the address I type.
My question was something else: HOW to CHANGE what comes out.
In Eudora it is possible to have ANYTHING one wishes appearing INSTEAD of the "undisclosed recipients", it's enough to type a code inside the message once, and choose the text one wishes to appear.

URL in mail text truncated

I am using sendmail step of workflow to send notification. I have to include URL in the mail text. If i include a URL which spans over 3 lines in the task description - only the first line holds the URL link and the remaining 2 lines is getting displayed as normal text.
Any valuable suggestions are welcome and rewarded.
