I have to convert a Q key to a O in an Input Text Field when the user is typing. (I have a seven segments device that will get the string later)

I'm using Apple Loops Utility and the wav file plays the correct key & tempo there. But when I save it, and open it up in LE or add it into the arrangement, it's playing the original key? The only thing that is correct is the tempo. Can you change the key and save the change using Apple Loops Utility?

I'm confused. Are you saying that in Apple Loops Utility the wav plays in the key and tempo of that wave, but when you add the same wav to LE it plays in a different key? You said in LE it plays in the "original" key. Seems like that is what you would expect. I would think it would play in the "original" key in both ALU and LE.

How to change the key of a MIDI track

There has to be an easy answer for this.
I have a Midi drum loop that I am using. I have changed the instrument so instead of the MIDI notes playing through a drum synth it is using one of logic's piano software instruments.
What I am trying to do is change the KEY of this loop. It seems to only play in C. If I go to the piano roll, copy all the notes of the loop and move the notes up or down, I was thinking I should be able to alter the key/chord that the loop is playing. However, no matter what I do, the loop still seems to be in C.
What is going on? And what can I do to easily change the key of this loop?

How is Space Designer keeping the MIDI track in the same key of C
I have no idea. I would normally think that such a thing is not possible.
What is the instrument? What happens if you create a new track, and load this instrument, and create a new midi region, and load SD? Same problem? What about if you do this in a new project? Same problem?

As I said above, that won't work in Mozilla.
In fact IMO Netscape/Mozilla javascript event handling has been behind IE since version 4.
Be that as it may: here is a workaround (for Mozilla): It seems you have to assign the onkeypress event for it rather than declaring it as part of the textfield.
Of the two textfields on this form, both work in IE, and only the first one will work properly in Mozilla. I left it in just to demonstrate the difference.

The picture on the corkboard for each person appears to be the first photo you identify for that person.
Is there any way to change the key photo, like you can do with Events?

I hadn't realised you can do that on Events, I have always right clicked on it and brought up the option to Change key Photo. That doesn't work the same way n Faces, so thanks for the Space Bar trick.

Even if that is true (and I am almost 100% positive that it is not true), you're talking about getting a warrant and going through a lot of legal channels, plus you'd have to show probable cause that information on the device would be helpful in solving a case, and even then, only the information relevant to the case would be available.
For this family's situation, there is no viable option. Let's not falsely raise hopes by arguing semantics and technicalities.
Can you even support that claim with any documentation? That Apple has the ability and/or performs that service at all?

How do you change the key of a Logic Pro X loop?

I am working on a song in Logic Pro X using one of the loops and I just wanted to know how to change the key of the loop to fit in with the key of the song? The key of my song is C Major while the Loop is in G Major.
Any tips would be gratefully received.

Here is the step-by-step instruction:
Step 1: Select the MIDI Region and set the Transpose value in the Region Inspector to the left.
Step 2: There is no Step 2
If you are a newbie, then I would recommend to have a look at my Graphically Enhanced Manual "Logic Pro X - How it Works" where I explain everything in great details with lots of easy to understand diagrams and screenshots, including a separate chapter about Apple Loops.
BTW: If you have a proper Apple Loop, then it should automatically adopt to the key of your Project. A transpose is not necessary, unless you want to overwrite a phrase to a specific key.

Changing the Key

So I'm throwing together some Apple Loops in Logic to create my latest masterpiece. When searching through my media library I can simply change the key the Blue labeled audio loops play back in. But I can't for the life of me figure out how to make the change when I add it to my song.

I was wondering how the key presses feel? I'm quite particular about it. I like the press to have a definite 'soft click' (like a cross between a microswitch and a diaphragm). A lot of keys these days are like pressing a spring with no tactile response as to when a key press has actually been registered if that makes any sense.
Can anyone with this keyboard describe how the keys are to press? I can't find and videos or any real life examples to test.

if you are looking for tactility in a keyboard, than this keyboard is not the best. Maybe you should get a Filco keyboard instead.
Microsoft and Dell's keyboard (the one with oversized spacebar) are both slightly better than these Lenovo keyboard. Alternatively get the Space Saver II keyboard.

Changing the Keys of the ODS

Hello Guys,
We have a requirement where we have to change the keys of the billing document, Sales order and delivery document ODS's. This is due to the R/3 side running out of document ranges. We will be working on it shortly and just wanted to know if someone has done this before? If yes, what r the points to consider. Any help is appreciated.

Hi,
when you change the key your are trying to change the table structure in data base level. so the earlier structure collapses onceonce you change it.so the option you have left is to rebuild another ODS.
If you have to find out the queries used upon this ods.since you say the stastics are not maintained.
change all business enabled queries.(specially designed on requirments first)
importantly you can not use the queries unless it modified to current design.

Input Enabled Query - Web Template - Not able to change the key figure.

Hello IP Gurus,
This is a simple question .
I have input enabled query and for all the KF's , I selected the radio button - data can be changed using user entries or planning functions , Equal Distribution and No disagrregation.
I attached the query to a web template.
When I execute the template I am not able to enter or change the key figures.
Do I have to use any planning function to do that in the web template or I am missing any configuration . Please let me know how to change or enter the key figures

HI Senthil,
Please ensure that u have enabled the property " start Query in changed Mode". This u can find it in the query properties under the advanced tab.
For the Input readiness this alone is not enough.You have to use all the charecteristics that u have in the multiprovider or the aggregation level over which the query is built.

I am searching for ways to organize my photo streams...alphabetical preferably.
Also how do you change the key photo from something random that i did not choose to be the key photo (in the photo stream/icloud mode).

As far as I can see, sue, the shared Photo Streams will always show the photo last added as the key photo. So just make sure the last photo you add is a photo like to see as the key photo. I do no know of any method to arrange the photo streams alphabetically. My photo streams are neither shown in chronological order nor in the order I created them.

I'm a new member and I'm actually trying to work with garage band to record voice and playback. Can "logic express" Vs. 8.0 slow down or change the key from playbacks like the program "Amazing slowdowner"? This is a programm wich costs 50 US Dollar and I want to decide if i buy it or not.
What is the hgreatest different between "garage band" and logic express 8.0? Who can hepl me, which is the right thing for me. I find it difficult to find out which effects are the best only to record my voice with playback.

If you want to slow down the audio why not download a program from ABRSM called Speedshifter- its free and is very good. you could export the audio from Logic and open the MP3 file with speed shifter. I think speedshifter may also have the ability to alter the pitch as well. I use it for Flute practice- its very useful !
